Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that has long-term impacts on the quality of human resources in Indonesia, particularly in Pemalang Regency, Central Java. The government has implemented various nutrition intervention policies, one of which is the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) as an effort to improve the nutritional status of the population, especially school-age children, toddlers, and pregnant women. This study aims to analyze the policy of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) as a nutrition intervention instrument in stunting prevention. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving informants from the Health Office, Education Office, schools, health workers, posyandu cadres, and beneficiary communities. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was tested through source and method triangulation The results show that the MBG program has a positive impact in improving community access to nutritious food, enhancing children’s dietary patterns, and increasing parents’ nutrition awareness. The program also strengthens cross-sector collaboration between local government, schools, and health facilities in efforts to reduce stunting. However, the implementation of the program still faces several challenges, such as limited supervisory personnel, budget constraints, uneven distribution, and low nutrition literacy among the community. In addition, the effectiveness of the program in significantly reducing stunting rates still requires long-term evaluation due to the multidimensional nature of stunting determinants. In conclusion, the Free Nutritious Meal Program has strong potential as a nutrition intervention policy instrument in stunting prevention in Pemalang Regency. However, its success largely depends on strengthening governance, cross-sector coordination, capacity building, and policy sustainability. Therefore, integration with other health and social intervention programs is needed to achieve optimal stunting reduction.

The leadership of the village head plays a strategic role in determining the effectiveness of community empowerment programs in rural development. This study examines the leadership of the Penghulu in implementing the catfish farming empowerment program in Sungai Tengah Village, Sabak Auh District, Siak Regency. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the village head, the Village Consultative Body (BPKam), the program coordinator, and members of catfish farming groups. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, while source triangulation ensured data credibility. The findings indicate that the Penghulu demonstrated effective leadership by promoting participatory planning through village deliberations, establishing clear task distribution among farming groups, and facilitating the provision of seeds, feed, and farming facilities. Leadership was further reflected in continuous communication, motivation, and institutional support that encouraged community participation. Despite these achievements, program implementation remained constrained by technical challenges in fish cultivation, limited field supervision, ineffective communication between stakeholders, and security issues related to fish theft. Strengthening supervisory mechanisms, communication, and collaborative management is therefore essential to improve the sustainability and effectiveness of community-based aquaculture empowerment programs.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the management of the Pelita Hati Library as a means of promoting public literacy in NanggerangJaya Village, Mandirancan Subdistrict, Kuningan Regency, as well as to identify the factors that support and hinder such management. This study employs a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Informants were selected through purposive sampling and consisted of the Village Head of NanggerangJaya and the Manager of the Pelita Hati Library. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation, and the data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model based on Richard M. Steers’ theory of organizational effectiveness, which encompasses four dimensions: goal attainment, integration, adaptation, and sustainability. The research results indicate that, in terms of goal achievement, the library has organized a number of literacy programs, community participation remains suboptimal due to relatively low reading interest. In terms of integration, there is good communication and cooperation between the village government, the library manager, and the Posyandu Remaja (Youth Health Post) activities. In terms of adaptation, the library still faces constraints related to human resources, space, and budget, yet it continues to strive to maintain its literacy activities. Regarding sustainability, there is a commitment from the village government and library administrators to ensure the library’ continued operation through the establishment of a management board and the allocation of funds. Overall, the Pelita Hati Library has been quite succes activities, but it still requires strengthening of human resources, improvement of facilities, and community participation so that the library’s function as a literacy resource can be optimal in the village.

Assessing financial performance is essential for determining whether a company is financially healthy and capable of maintaining its business continuity. This study aims to analyze the financial performance of property and real estate subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period using the Du Pont System. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach using secondary data obtained from annual financial reports published on the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the respective companies. The sample was selected using purposive sampling and consisted of four companies, resulting in 20 firm-year observations. Financial performance was evaluated using Net Profit Margin (NPM), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Return on Investment (ROI), Equity Multiplier (EM), and Return on Equity (ROE). The data were analyzed through descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression using SPSS. The results indicate that the financial performance of the sampled companies fluctuated throughout the study period, with each company demonstrating different strengths in profitability, asset utilization, capital structure, and equity returns. Partially, NPM, TATO, and ROI significantly affected ROE, whereas EM had no significant effect on ROE. Simultaneously, NPM, TATO, ROI, and EM significantly affected ROE. These findings indicate that corporate financial performance is more strongly influenced by profitability and asset utilization efficiency than by capital structure.

Open burning of household waste remains the dominant waste disposal practice in rural areas of Indonesia, posing significant risks to public health and environmental quality. This community service activity aimed to provide an innovative, low-smoke waste combustion solution — the rocket stove incinerator — to the residents of Dusun Allukeke, Desa Belapunranga, Kecamatan Parangloe, Kabupaten Gowa. A baseline survey conducted during PBL 1 revealed that 87.6% of households disposed of waste through open burning. An asset-based community development (ABCD) approach was adopted, engaging community members at every stage from planning, construction, to utilisation. The rocket stove was constructed over three days using locally available materials and was demonstrated to significantly reduce visible smoke emissions compared to conventional open burning. The technology works through a vertically insulated combustion chamber that promotes near-complete combustion, reducing waste volume by 50–90% while suppressing particulate matter and hydrocarbon emissions. Community participation strengthened local ownership of the solution. This activity demonstrates that appropriate technology co-constructed with communities can serve as a practical, sustainable, and replicable model for rural waste management.

This community-based project aimed to analyze the cash management system of the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) Bakpia Juwara Satoe and develop recommendations to improve the company's financial performance. Cash management is a crucial but often overlooked aspect of MSME financial management, which can lead to cash flow problems, inaccurate record keeping, and poor management decisions. The methodology used included qualitative data collection through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and financial statement analysis. The project findings revealed that Bakpia Juwara Satoe lacked a functioning cash management system. There was no separation between cash receipts and disbursements, no standardized system for handling cash, and transaction recording remained manual and inconsistent. As part of the project, standard operating procedures (SOP) for cash management were developed, financial accounting training was conducted, and support was provided in creating simple cash flow statements. Following the implementation of these measures, record accuracy increased by 78%, and cash losses were reduced. It was determined that the implementation of efficient cash management contributed significantly to the improvement of Bakpia Juwara Satoe's financial performance.

This study examines the factors contributing to Pornography, Masturbation, and Orgasm (PMO) behavior among husbands, its effects on marital life, and its assessment from the perspective of Islamic law. A descriptive-analytical qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis involving married men with current or previous PMO experiences and wives as supporting informants. The findings indicate that PMO behavior is driven by several interrelated factors, including early exposure to pornography, psychological stress, sexual dissatisfaction, permissive social environments, and the widespread accessibility of digital technology. These behaviors negatively affect marital relationships by contributing to emotional disconnection, loss of trust, reduced sexual satisfaction, partner betrayal trauma, sexual disengagement, and body image distortion among wives. From the perspective of Islamic law, pornography and associated sexual behaviors are considered contrary to the principles of sexual morality and marital responsibility, while the majority of Islamic jurists regard masturbation as prohibited except under limited circumstances. Such behavior may also undermine the objectives of maqashid al-shariah, particularly the protection of religion (hifzh al-din), intellect (hifzh al-‘aql), and lineage (hifzh al-nasl). The study concludes that addressing PMO behavior among husbands requires a holistic approach that integrates psychological rehabilitation, improved marital communication, spiritual repentance, and sustained religious practices to restore individual well-being and marital harmony.

Customer satisfaction has become a strategic priority in the restaurant industry because it influences customer loyalty, revisit intention, and long-term business sustainability. Although previous studies consistently identify service quality as a major determinant of customer satisfaction, empirical evidence regarding the contribution of physical facilities remains inconsistent across different service contexts. This study aims to examine the influence of facilities and service quality on customer satisfaction at Oma Kulina Restaurant Bintaro while evaluating the relative importance of both variables within an Indonesian restaurant setting. A quantitative research design was employed using purposive sampling. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 84 customers who had visited the restaurant at least twice. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The findings reveal that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (β = 1.358; p < 0.001), whereas facilities do not significantly influence customer satisfaction (β = 0.048; p = 0.463). Simultaneously, facilities and service quality significantly explain customer satisfaction, accounting for 80.8% of the variance (R² = 0.808). These findings indicate that customers prioritize interpersonal service quality over physical facilities when evaluating their restaurant experiences. This study contributes to the service marketing literature by extending the application of Expectation Confirmation Theory and the SERVQUAL framework within the Indonesian restaurant industry. The findings also provide practical recommendations for restaurant managers to prioritize employee service quality while maintaining adequate physical facilities to strengthen customer satisfaction and competitive advantage.

This community service program aims to enhance legal awareness among local communities through a participatory training and counseling model. The initiative was prompted by the low level of public understanding regarding legal rights and obligations, as well as the prevalence of regulatory violations due to limited knowledge. The program was implemented using a field-based approach, beginning with needs analysis, formulation of relevant legal materials, and followed by interactive training sessions and open counseling activities. The methods employed included lectures, group discussions, case studies, and simple simulations to facilitate community understanding of common legal issues, such as land disputes, debt agreements, and family-related matters. The outcomes indicate an improvement in legal comprehension, demonstrated by active community participation in discussions and their ability to identify appropriate legal solutions in accordance with applicable regulations. Furthermore, the program strengthened relationships between the community and village authorities acting as legal facilitators. Through training and counseling, participants became more confident in addressing legal issues and committed to complying with regulations. The findings demonstrate that participatory training and counseling serve as effective instruments for fostering legal awareness and supporting the development of a law-abiding culture at the local level.

Environmental pollution is a common problem in cities and can increase the likelihood of flooding. The purpose of this study is to analyze environmental pollution as a cause of flooding in the Pekapuran Street area, Depok City. This study applies a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were obtained through observation, documentation, and literature review. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the accumulation of household waste around the drainage channels causes obstruction of water flow, which triggers flooding during rain. In addition, the shallow, mud-filled, and poorly maintained drainage conditions increase the risk of flooding. Low levels of public awareness of environmental cleanliness are also factors that exacerbate the condition. This study concludes that flooding on Pekapuran Street is influenced not only by high rainfall, but also by environmental pollution and a suboptimal drainage system. Based on this, better waste management and drainage maintenance are needed to minimize the risk of flooding in the area.
