This study analyzes the role of the Golkar Party of Serang City in the formulation and oversight of Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2019 on the Implementation of Tourism Business Governance using the Institutional Analysis and Development (IAD) framework. The study aims to examine how political party institutions perform their functions in local legislative processes, particularly in terms of public representation, interest articulation, and policy oversight. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving in-depth interviews with party actors and members of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), as well as document analysis of relevant policy materials. The findings reveal that Golkar’s role in the formulation and supervision of the regulation was predominantly carried out by its legislative faction through informal mechanisms, while the party’s organizational structure played a limited institutional role. The process of absorbing public aspirations was relatively constrained and tended to favor groups with close social and political ties, indicating that the party has not fully exercised its functions of public articulation and accountability. From the perspective of the IAD framework, this condition reflects weaknesses in internal rules, actor capacity, and interaction mechanisms within the party as a political institution in the policy arena. Therefore, strengthening Golkar’s institutional capacity is essential to enable a more substantive, responsive, and inclusive role in local legislative and policy oversight processes

The rapid development of the digital era has led to a major shift in the modern workplace, with over 1.5 billion people spending more than six hours daily in front of computer screens. This working condition poses significant occupational health risks, including Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) such as Low Back Pain (LBP) and neck strain, with a global prevalence of 60-80%. Furthermore, prolonged screen exposure and high workload contribute to mental health issues like chronic stress and digital fatigue. This community service aimed to increase awareness among PT. XYZ employees regarding the importance of integrated ergonomics to achieve optimal productivity. The method used was an informative sharing session through a presentation and discussion. The material emphasized a three-pronged intervention approach: physical ergonomics (workstation adjustment), technology-based interventions (wearable devices, break reminder apps, and electromagnetic radiation prevention), and mental well-being integration (mindfulness and relaxation techniques). The results showed a significant increase in participant understanding of the health risks and the practical steps to implement integrated ergonomic solutions. It was found that combining technology-based reminders and mindfulness exercises can reduce health complaints by up to 40% better than physical interventions alone. The implication of this service is the recommendation for PT. XYZ to adopt an integrated ergonomic policy that addresses physical, technological, and mental aspects to create a healthier, safer, and more productive work environment for its employees.

Balance disorders are among the most common functional problems experienced by older adults and significantly increase the risk of falls, disability, and reduced quality of life. Early screening and health promotion efforts are essential in preventing these complications. This community service program aimed to introduce and implement the Fukuda Stepping Test as a simple, low-cost, and effective method for promotive and preventive assessment of balance impairment among elderly individuals in the community. The activity involved health education on balance maintenance, demonstration of the test procedure, and direct assessment of participants, followed by individualized feedback and recommendations for balance exercises. The results showed that the Fukuda Stepping Test was well-received, easy to perform, and successfully identified elderly individuals with potential vestibular asymmetry or dynamic balance deficits. Furthermore, the program increased participants’ awareness regarding fall prevention and encouraged adoption of regular balance training. This initiative highlights the importance of accessible physiotherapy-based screening tools in community settings and underscores the role of physiotherapists in promoting healthy aging and reducing fall risk among older adults.

The reform of criminal investigation procedures has become a crucial aspect of Indonesia’s criminal justice system renewal, particularly following the enactment of the new Criminal Code, which introduces significant shifts regarding the rights of suspects, investigative authority, and the implementation of due process of law. In an era of rapid digital development, investigative practices must also incorporate the principles of good governance and human rights protection to ensure that state authority is exercised proportionally. This study aims to analyze the relevance of the principles of good governance in modern investigative processes, assess the adequacy of due process guarantees under the current Code of Criminal Procedureand the new Criminal Code, and identify practical challenges in application. Using a normative legal research method through statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches, the study finds that criminal investigations in Indonesia continue to face issues such as normative inconsistency, regulatory disharmony, and weak accountability mechanisms. The integration of the principles of good governance has the potential to strengthen the quality and fairness of investigations, yet requires clearer normative foundations and consistent implementation. Moreover, the new Criminal Code does not fully resolve harmonization issues with Code of Criminal Procedure, making procedural reform an urgent necessity. The findings contribute to the enhancement of suspect protection, professionalism among investigators, and the overall improvement of Indonesia’s criminal justice system.

The global increase in life expectancy has significantly contributed to the growth of the elderly population, including in Indonesia, which has now entered the aging population phase with more than 10% of its total population aged 60 years and above. This demographic shift presents challenges in maintaining the quality of life among the elderly, particularly in tropical border regions such as Tarakan City. Karang Anyar Pantai Village, located in West Tarakan District, has a considerable number of elderly residents supported by existing elderly health posts (posyandu lansia). Social and health interventions through elderly exercise programs, nutritional support in the form of mung bean porridge, and regular monthly health check-ups are considered strategic efforts to improve physical health, metabolic function, and psychological well-being among the elderly. This study aims to evaluate the impact of these three interventions on enhancing the quality of life of the elderly in Karang Anyar Pantai. By assessing the effectiveness of these interventions, this research seeks to provide recommendations for improving elderly care programs in similar regions.

Parenting communication literacy is a fundamental competence that influences children’s growth in cognitive, emotional, and social domains. Initial findings at Posyandu Teratai, South Tangerang, revealed that many mothers still relied on authoritarian and less dialogical communication, which limited children’s confidence and engagement. In response, the Community Service (PKM) team of Universitas Pamulang implemented a program entitled Optimizing Parenting Communication Literacy through Digital Media. The activities were designed using participatory strategies such as lectures, interactive group discussions, simulation exercises, and the dissemination of digital learning materials in the form of modules and videos. The program outcomes demonstrated considerable improvement in mothers’ knowledge and attitudes toward positive communication practices, including the ability to listen actively, provide encouragement, and employ digital platforms as continuous learning resources. Furthermore, the integration of digital tools enabled mothers to access and exchange information beyond formal training sessions. The broader impact of the program was the establishment of a collaborative learning community at Posyandu, which not only supported families in applying positive parenting approaches but also reinforced community-level awareness of effective communication in child-rearing.

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of a Mindfulness -based psychotherapy intervention in reducing academic stress levels experienced by college students. The study used a pretest–posttest design without a control group, involving 10 active college students purposively selected based on moderate to high levels of academic stress. The intervention was implemented over two days and included reflective exercises and guided experiences focused on the application of the seven Mindfulness  principles according to Kabat-Zinn (2015): non-judgment using personal standards, patience, a beginner's mind, trust, effortlessness, acceptance, and letting go. Data were collected using an academic stress scale that measures four aspects: coursework pressure, demands for satisfactory grades, time management for studying, and social support. Data were analyzed quantitatively using a paired-samples t-test. The results showed a significant decrease in academic stress levels from an average score of 73.1 to 58.5, indicating that this intervention was effective in helping students manage academic stress more consciously, calmly, and adaptively. This condition suggests that psychotherapy intervention through Mindfulness  training can be a strategy to support students' psychological well-being in academic environments. This study is motivated by the moral and spiritual crisis affecting modern leadership systems, where the exercise of power often prioritizes material and political interests over ethical values and social responsibility. In this context, the concept of Malay Islamic Leadership is considered relevant as an alternative model that integrates moral, spiritual, and local cultural values to establish a just and civilized governance framework. The purpose of this study is to describe the fundamental principles of Malay Islamic leadership, analyze the implementation of its moral and spiritual values, and assess its relevance in addressing the challenges of modern leadership. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method using secondary data obtained through literature reviews of books, journal articles, and academic documents discussing Islamic leadership and Malay culture. The results indicate that Malay Islamic leadership is founded on the values of amanah (trustworthiness), ‘adl (justice), hikmah (wisdom), and syura (consultation), while taqwa (piety) serves as the core of a leader’s spirituality. These values are proven to be relevant in the modern context as they address ethical crises, strengthen leaders’ integrity, and reorient leadership toward service and the welfare of the community.

In modern soccer, lower-limb power is a crucial component that determines an athlete’s performance in sprinting, kicking, and jumping. This study aimed to compare the effects of Squat jump and Hexagon jump plyometric exercises on lower limb power in youth soccer athletes from Garuda Timur Football Academy Surabaya. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest two group design involving 12 athletes aged 14–17 years. Participants were divided into two groups of six: a Hexagon jump group and a Squat jump group. Lower limb power was assessed using the vertical jump test before and after the training intervention. Data were analyzed using the Matched Subject Ordinal Pairing (MSOP) method to determine the relative effectiveness of both training types. The results indicated that both exercises significantly improved athletes’ vertical jump performance. However, the Hexagon jump exercise showed greater effectiveness, with a winning proportion of 67% (4 out of 6 pairs) compared to 33% for the Squat jump. The superior results of the Hexagon jump group were attributed to its multidirectional movement pattern, which provides greater stimulation of coordination, balance, and neuromuscular reactivity. Therefore, it can be concluded that Hexagon jump training is more effective than Squat jump in enhancing lower limb power among youth soccer athletes.
