This study aims to examine the effects of service quality and product quality on customer satisfaction and purchase decisions, as well as the mediating role of customer satisfaction. The population consists of Shopee users in Semarang City (January–May 2025). Using the Lemeshow formula, 97 respondents were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a 5-point Likert questionnaire and analyzed with SEM-AMOS. The findings show that both service quality and product quality significantly increase customer satisfaction. Service quality and product quality have positive but insignificant direct effects on purchase decisions, while customer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on purchase decisions. Customer satisfaction also significantly mediates the influence of service quality and product quality on purchase decisions. These results underline the crucial mediating role of satisfaction in shaping consumer purchasing behavior on digital platforms like Shopee.

This study discusses the effectiveness of Indonesia's halal certification system in supporting international standards and increasing global consumer satisfaction. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach to analyze the implementation of the national halal certification system. The results show that the halal certification system has strengthened legal protection and consumer confidence in halal products through synergy between BPJPH, MUI, and LPH. However, there are still challenges in harmonizing halal standards between countries and increasing the recognition of Indonesian certification at the global level. The digitization of the certification process and integration with international standards are considered important to accelerate services and enhance the credibility of the national system. This study recommends strengthening collaboration among stakeholders, international halal diplomacy, and technology-based system innovation so that Indonesia can compete globally and play a role as a world halal certification center

This study examines the determinants of green innovation and its impact on sustainable business performance among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Bandung Raya region of Indonesia. Specifically, the study analyzes the influence of environmental knowledge and market pressure on green innovation, as well as the effect of green innovation on sustainable performance. A quantitative approach was employed using data from 150 MSMEs, and structural relationships were tested through multiple regression analysis. All measurement instruments demonstrated high reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha 0.89–0.95) and validity (corrected item–total correlation > 0.80). The results reveal that environmental knowledge has the strongest positive and significant effect on green innovation (β = 0.728; p < 0.001), indicating that MSMEs with greater environmental awareness are more likely to adopt eco-friendly innovations. Market pressure also significantly influences green innovation (β = 0.257; p < 0.001), demonstrating the role of consumer expectations, competition, and green product trends in shaping sustainable business practices. Furthermore, green innovation has a very strong and significant impact on sustainable business performance (β = 0.847; p < 0.001), suggesting that eco-friendly practices enhance cost efficiency, customer satisfaction, firm reputation, and environmental outcomes. Overall, the study highlights the importance of combining internal awareness with external pressures to foster green innovation and strengthen sustainability among MSMEs. The findings provide theoretical contributions to green innovation and sustainability frameworks, while offering practical implications for MSMEs, policymakers, and business support institutions.

This study aims to determine the influence of marketing strategies and consumer commitment on purchasing decisions for Yamaha NMAX products in Rimbo Bujang using quantitative analysis descriptive research methods with SPSS 26 tests on 96 respondents. The results of the study indicate that the Marketing Strategy variable (X1) has a significant influence on the Purchase Decision (Y) of Yamaha NMAX products in Rimbo Bujang. Then the Consumer Commitment variable (X2) also has a significant influence on the Purchase Decision (Y) of Yamaha NMAX products in Rimbo Bujang. While simultaneously Marketing Strategy (X1) and Consumer Commitment (X2) together have a significant influence on the Purchase Decision (Y) of Yamaha NMAX products in Rimbo Bujang. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.777 indicates that 77.7% of the variation in Purchase Decisions is influenced by Marketing Strategy and Consumer Commitment, while the remaining 22.3% is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings provide important insights for more effective business strategies, especially in increasing product sales through a better approach to consumers. By understanding the factors that influence purchasing decisions, companies can optimize more targeted marketing strategies and increase levels of consumer satisfaction and loyalty.

The growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has led to an increase in product reviews, including for beauty products on Tokopedia and Shopee. These reviews serve as important sources of information to assess consumer satisfaction; however, manually analyzing thousands of reviews daily is impractical. This study applies Natural Language Processing (NLP) with Naive Bayes, C4.5, XGBoost algorithms to classify sentiment in Indonesian-language reviews. The dataset used consists of 76,256 reviews labeled as positive, negative, and neutral. The research stages include text preprocessing, feature representation using BoW and TF-IDF, data balancing through SMOTE, and model performance evaluation based on accuracy, precision, and recall. Differences in results among the algorithms were analyzed using ANOVA. The results show that Naive Bayes achieved the highest accuracy at 67.71%, followed by XGBoost at 65.91%, and C4.5 at 58.39%, with Naive Bayes performing best in identifying positive and negative sentiments, while XGBoost and C4.5 handled more complex data patterns effectively. These findings provide guidance for sentiment analysis in Indonesian and support businesses in obtaining automated insights from customer reviews to improve product quality and services.

With the rapid growth of Jambi City's tourism sector, the demand for souvenir products as a representation of local culture has increased. However, this potential has resulted in fierce competition among businesses. To generate new customers, businesses require effective digital and physical marketing strategies. The purpose of this study was to examine how social media marketing, product quality, and location at Gerai Adila simultaneously and partially influence consumer purchasing decisions. A survey method was used to implement a quantitative approach; data from 387 respondents, collected through Google Forms, were selected using the Slovin formula from a population of 11,723 customers in 2024. In data analysis, instruments, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing were conducted using SPSS 25. The results showed that social media marketing, product quality, and Gerai Adila's location partially had a positive and significant impact on consumer decisions to purchase products at Gerai Adila; social media marketing played a role in increasing consumer brand awareness and purchasing interest, while product quality influenced consumer satisfaction and trust. In addition, it was proven that all three variables had a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. The results show that to increase the competitiveness of souvenir shops in Jambi City, digital marketing strategies, consistent product quality, and the right location are important factors.

The rapid growth of e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, particularly Tokopedia, has resulted in a large volume of consumer reviews containing valuable information regarding customer perceptions and satisfaction. However, manual analysis of such reviews is inefficient and prone to subjectivity, necessitating an automated approach based on machine learning. This study aims to classify the sentiment of sports product reviews on Tokopedia into positive, negative, and neutral categories by applying Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Random Forest using the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) approach. The data were collected through web scraping of Indonesian-language sports product reviews and processed through several preprocessing stages, including data cleaning, case folding, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming. Feature representation was performed using TF-IDF to transform textual data into numerical vectors, after which the dataset was divided into training and testing sets with an 80:20 ratio. Model performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results indicate that the application of TF-IDF significantly improves the performance of all models, with SVM consistently achieving the most optimal performance compared to Logistic Regression and Random Forest. These findings demonstrate that classical machine learning algorithms combined with TF-IDF remain highly effective for sentiment analysis of Indonesian-language text. The implications of this study are expected to assist sellers in understanding customer opinions, support consumers in making informed purchasing decisions, and serve as a foundation for the development of sentiment analysis and recommendation systems on e-commerce platforms.

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality on consumer satisfaction in the Kipang Sisera Panyabungan Business. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaire distribution to 96 respondents who are customers of Kipang Sisera. The data obtained were analyzed using validity, reliability, and regression analysis tests with the help of SPSS 25. The results of the validity test showed that all items in the questionnaire were valid with a rtable value of > (0.1689), while the results of the reliability test using Alpha Cronbach showed a value of > 0.60, which means that the research instrument is trustworthy. The results of the partial regression test (t-test) showed that product quality had a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The determination coefficient (R²) test showed that product quality contributed 62.9% to consumer satisfaction, while the rest was influenced by other variables that were not studied in this study. These findings indicate that improving product quality, both in terms of taste, packaging, and quality consistency, is very important in maintaining consumer satisfaction and the sustainability of Kipang Sisera's business in the midst of market competition.

The advancement of information technology has transformed consumption patterns, including shopping activities that have increasingly shifted to digital platforms or e-commerce. Bukalapak, as one of the early players in this industry, is currently facing challenges in the form of declining market share and user complaints related to digital service quality (e-service quality). This research aims to analyze the effect of electronic service quality on consumer loyalty (e-loyalty), with electronic satisfaction (e-satisfaction) as a mediating variable among Bukalapak users in Denpasar City. The sampling technique employed a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling approach, and the number of samples was determined based on the number of indicators used. The research findings indicate that electronic service quality has a positive and significant effect on both user satisfaction and user loyalty. Electronic satisfaction is also proven to significantly affect user loyalty and serves as a partial mediator in the relationship between service quality and loyalty. These findings affirm that improving the quality of digital services can enhance customer satisfaction and ultimately build loyalty toward the Bukalapak platform

Changes in the lifestyles of the younger generation in Padang City have significantly contributed to the growth of the culinary and entertainment sectors, especially in services for birthday celebrations and small banquets presented in aesthetic and personalized packages. In this highly competitive culinary business, a strong branding strategy is essential for building a recognizable brand image and attracting consumers. Improving product quality and quantity, diversifying offerings, and providing a wide variety of products are critical for creating added value and expanding market share. Equally important, effective promotion enables companies to communicate with consumers, influence purchasing decisions, and strengthen brand loyalty. The general equilibrium concept offers a framework to understand how interconnected markets respond to changes in supply, demand, and consumer preferences, highlighting the need for businesses to continuously evaluate and adapt their strategies. This study emphasizes that success in Padang City’s bakery and culinary service industry depends on the integration of branding strategies, ongoing product development, and targeted promotional efforts, ensuring competitiveness, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth.

The rapid expansion of e-commerce in Indonesia has resulted in a significant rise in the number of customer reviews, which serve as a valuable source of insight for understanding consumer satisfaction. This study aims to classify or identify sentiments from product reviews on the Tokopedia platform into three categories, using the Support Vector Machine algorithm. The classification method data were ethically collected through web scraping and include review text, ratings, and the number of “likes.”  The preprocessing stage involved several NLP techniques such as pre-procesesing data representation was generated using the Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency method, while the issue of class imbalance was addressed using the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique.  Based on the test results, the SVM model achieved an accuracy of 79.48% on the test data using a linear kernel, showing the best performance in classifying positive sentiments. However, the classification of neutral and negative sentiments still requires improvement. This study demonstrates that the combination of the TF-IDF method, additional numerical features, and data balancing techniques can produce an an efficient sentiment analysis model within the e-commerce domain.

The company must be able to make the right policies so that the company can maintain its survival, so that the company can compete with competing companies and gain the trust of consumers. One of the important factors in achieving goals is HR (Human Resources) which has a very important role in determining the success of a company. This research aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance on job satisfaction and employee performance. This type of research uses quantitative research with a questionnaire instrument. The results of descriptive analysis show that all indicators of work-life balance, job satisfaction, and employee performance are in the “Good Enough” category, indicating that respondents' perceptions of work-life balance, job satisfaction, and employee performance still need to be improved. Validity and reliability tests show that the instruments used are valid and reliable. The results of structural model testing show that work-life balance has a significant and strong effect on employee performance (O=0.822; p<0.001) and job satisfaction (O=0.677; p<0.001), while job satisfaction also affects performance (O=0.367; p=0.006). In addition to the direct effect, there is also a significant indirect effect of work-life balance on performance through job satisfaction (O=0.249; p=0.011). Work-life balance improves employee performance, both directly and through increased job satisfaction, so companies are advised to create policies that support work-life balance in order to create a productive and sustainable work environment.

This research aims to explore the role of service excellence in enhancing consumer loyalty in culinary MSMEs, with a case study at RM Kamang Jaya in Medan City. In facing intense competition in the food industry, excellent service becomes an important strategy to maintain and expand the customer base. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed to deeply examine customer experiences, perceptions, and service practices through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that the consistent application of service standards, friendly attitudes of staff, and attention to detail in service delivery greatly contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty. Good service has been proven to encourage repeat orders, create positive experiences, and enhance word-of-mouth promotion. Despite some technical obstacles, such as order errors or menu limitations, the quick response and professional attitude of employees were able to minimize their impact. These findings confirm that service excellence not only meets the functional needs of consumers but also builds emotional attachment, which becomes the foundation of long-term loyalty. The implications of this research are significant for other MSME actors in designing superior service strategies to face increasingly complex business competition.

Consumptive behavior refers to the tendency of individuals to purchase goods or services excessively, driven not by need but by the desire for personal satisfaction. University students are particularly vulnerable to such behavior, especially given the ease of access to e-commerce platforms and limitations in personal financial management. Pocket money received and students’ level of financial literacy are key factors shaping their consumption patterns. This study analyzes the effects of e-commerce, pocket money, and financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of undergraduate students in the Development Economics Study Program at Udayana University. A quantitative approach was employed, using a survey of 90 respondents selected through stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that, jointly, e-commerce, pocket money, and financial literacy significantly affect students’ consumptive behavior. Partially, e-commerce and pocket money have positive effects, whereas financial literacy has a negative effect. This indicates that higher financial literacy reduces the tendency toward consumptive behavior.

Production quantity planning is a crucial component in the bottled water industry (AMDK) to ensure that consumer demand is met efficiently. Inaccuracies in determining the amount of production can lead to overproduction and supply shortages, which ultimately leads to increased operational costs and decreased customer satisfaction. This study applies the Sugeno fuzzy logic method to predict the amount of production based on two main variables, namely weekly demand and raw material stock. The analysis stages include the fuzzification process, the preparation of the rule base, inference using the zero-order Sugeno method, and defuzzification using the Weighted Average (WA) method. The data used is synthetic data that represents the operational conditions of the medium-scale bottled water industry. The results show that the Sugeno fuzzy system is able to produce production predictions that are adaptive and responsive to fluctuations in demand and stock availability. This model provides consistent and stable output, so it can help companies in determining the optimal production amount. These findings confirm that Sugino's fuzzy approach can be an effective decision support tool in bottled water production management, especially in the face of uncertainty and variability in market demand.

This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to examine how key dimensions of digital service quality—namely system quality, ease of use, perceived value, and payment availability—shape customer loyalty among Generation Z culinary consumers, with customer satisfaction functioning as the mediating variable. Bibliometric mapping reveals that previous studies have predominantly focused on Millennials and Gen Y and have emphasized traditional service quality rather than digital service performance, indicating a significant research gap in Gen Z–specific digital consumption behavior. The SLR findings show that fast, secure, stable, and user-friendly digital systems strongly influence perceived value and user satisfaction, while the availability of digital payments such as QRIS and e-wallets enhances seamless transactional experiences. Customer satisfaction emerges as the primary psychological mechanism mediating the relationship between digital service quality and Gen Z loyalty, reflected in repeat purchases, positive word of mouth, and emotional attachment to digital culinary platforms. This study contributes theoretically by addressing existing research gaps and proposing a conceptual model of Gen Z loyalty grounded in digital experience.

Customer satisfaction and consumer loyalty are critical issues in modern marketing management, as they play a strategic role in retaining customers and increasing company profitability. With the increasing intensity of business competition, it has become crucial for scientists and practitioners to understand the components that influence customer satisfaction and their impact on loyalty. The purpose of this study is to systematically review the relationship between customer satisfaction and consumer loyalty, as well as to identify the main determinant factors.The research questions are: (1) What are the most influential factors affecting customer satisfaction and loyalty? (2) How is the relationship pattern between satisfaction and loyalty based on previous research findings?. A systematic literature review was conducted using articles from Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) with keywords consumer satisfaction, consumer loyalty, service quality, price, and customer trust. A total of 27 articles published between 2020 and 2025 were analyzed, and 5 relevant articles were selected for in-depth review. The findings indicate that product quality, service quality, price, trust, and brand image are dominant factors influencing customer satisfaction and loyalty. In conclusion, future research can explore digital and technology-based service contexts as well as more complex mediation and moderation relationships to deepen understanding of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Customer Loyalty is critically influenced by several factors, including Service Quality, Customer Trust, and Price.1 This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous influence of Service Quality (X_1), Customer Trust (X_2), and Price (X_3) on Customer Loyalty (Y) toward Maxim online transportation services in Semarang City.1 Utilizing a quantitative associative method, data were collected from a sample of 100 Maxim users (N=100) via incidental sampling and analyzed using multiple linear regression (SPSS).1 The analysis confirmed that all three independent variables positively and significantly influence Customer Loyalty (all t_{hitung} > 1.98498).1 Service Quality (X_1) was determined to be the most dominant factor (\beta = 0.400, t=4.500), highlighting that driver performance, service assurance, and responsiveness are the primary drivers of long-term loyalty., 10 The overall regression model demonstrated a strong explanatory power, with an estimated Adjusted R^2 of 0.650, indicating that 65.0\% of the variation in Customer Loyalty is explained by these three factors. Managerial implications suggest focusing resources on continuous service improvement and maintaining high integrity (Trust) to convert consumer satisfaction into sustainable loyalty.

This study aims to evaluate the factors influencing passengers’ interest in purchasing tickets for the KM. Kirana 1 ship on the Sampit route. In the era of increasing competition in maritime transportation, understanding consumer interest factors is essential for shipping companies to enhance their marketing strategies and stay competitive. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving passengers of KM. Kirana 1. The variables examined in this study include price, service quality, promotion, and perceived comfort, which are considered key determinants in customer decision-making. Data were analyzed using SPSS to test validity, reliability, and the relationships among these variables. The results indicate that price, service quality, and comfort significantly affect passengers’ interest in purchasing tickets, while promotion has an insignificant effect. These findings provide practical implications for shipping management to improve service quality, comfort, and pricing strategies to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty, which are critical in the highly competitive maritime industry.
