The expression “God regretted” in Genesis 6:7 is one of the most theologically problematic statements in the Old Testament, as it seems to contradict the classical doctrine of God’s immutability. This study aims to examine the meaning of this expression through an exegetical approach, emphasizing the analysis of the Hebrew text and the lexical use of the word nāḥam. The method employed is qualitative-descriptive with a historical-grammatical and biblical-theological approach. The primary data are derived from the Hebrew text in the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia and supported by lexical sources. The results indicate that the word nāḥam in Genesis 6:7 does not imply regret in the sense of wrongdoing, but rather refers to divine sorrow over the moral corruption of humanity. The expression represents a form of anthropomorphism used to depict the relationship between God and humans in language comprehensible to human beings. From an Old Testament theological perspective, this text affirms that God is relational and active in history, without compromising the consistency of His character. Therefore, the “regret of God” does not contradict the doctrine of divine immutability, but rather enriches the understanding of His involvement in human life.

This study addresses the limited integration of environmental education, Islamic values, and creative learning practices in existing pedagogical models. It proposes an eco-friendly Islamic calligraphy approach as an innovative medium for recycling-based learning that promotes both ecological awareness and spiritual development. The study adopts a Participatory Action Research (PAR) design involving 22 students from diverse educational levels at Sanggar Bimbingan Bintang Sembilan. Data were collected through structured observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using an iterative qualitative framework to identify changes in students’ cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains. The findings indicate that students initially exhibited low environmental awareness, minimal engagement, and limited ability to utilize recyclable materials creatively. Following the intervention, there was a substantial increase in active participation, creative output, and conceptual understanding of environmental sustainability. Students also demonstrated observable behavioral shifts, particularly in waste reuse practices and environmental responsibility. In addition, the incorporation of Islamic values reinforced ethical awareness and strengthened students’ sense of stewardship toward the environment. This study contributes to the advancement of interdisciplinary learning by offering a contextual and practice-oriented model that integrates environmental education, religious values, and art-based pedagogy. The proposed approach not only enhances student engagement but also fosters holistic learning outcomes, making it a viable alternative to conventional instructional methods in sustainability education.

Anxiety is a common psychological issue among pregnant women in the third trimester, often triggered by fear of childbirth, concerns about fetal health, and hormonal changes. If not properly addressed, it may negatively affect both maternal and fetal outcomes. Non-pharmacological approaches, such as music therapy, are increasingly used to promote relaxation and emotional well-being. This study aimed to determine the effect of music therapy using spiritual songs on the anxiety levels of third-trimester pregnant women at GMIM Siloam Sonder Minahasa Hospital. A pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach was applied. The sample consisted of 30 pregnant women selected through total sampling. Anxiety levels were measured before and after the intervention using a validated instrument, and the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The findings revealed a significant reduction in anxiety levels following the intervention. The statistical test showed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of spiritual music therapy on reducing anxiety. These results suggest that spiritual songs can provide emotional comfort, enhance relaxation, and foster a sense of peace among pregnant women. In conclusion, music therapy using spiritual songs is an effective, safe, and complementary non-pharmacological intervention to reduce anxiety in third-trimester pregnant women and can be considered as part of maternal healthcare support.

The routine prayer recitation activity with teenagers in Jatikalang Village, Krian, Sidoarjo, essentially arose from the need for moral development among teenagers amidst today's increasingly complex and externally influenced lives. Through this activity, it is hoped that teenagers can become closer to religious values without feeling patronized, as the activities are simple and relevant to their daily lives. Furthermore, a sense of community among teenagers is fostered, becoming more than just a form of worship but also a positive gathering space. The implementation itself uses an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, emphasizing existing community potential, such as the role of administrators, youth involvement, and available village facilities. The activity is relatively simple, starting with an opening and reciting prayers, rowi Diba' (the prayer of the Prophet), mahalul qiyam (the prayer of the Prophet), and closing with a short sermon (kultum) usually containing light but impactful messages. These activities are beginning to show changes: teenagers are becoming more active, a sense of togetherness is growing, and good habits such as discipline, mutual respect, and responsibility are gradually emerging. Furthermore, this activity serves as an alternative to prevent teenagers from getting caught up in less beneficial activities. There are still challenges, particularly with fluctuating attendance and the strong influence of the external environment. However, if maintained and developed consistently, this activity has great potential to become a platform for social and spiritual development for youth. Overall, this sholawat routine is quite effective in developing religious character and strengthening social ties within the community.

The development of generative artificial intelligence has given rise to a new form of digital-based sexual violence through the spread of sexual deepfakes, non-consensual synthetic sexual representations that can attack the dignity, privacy, sexual autonomy, and sense of security of victims. This threat becomes even more serious when targeting students and educators because it not only harms individuals but also disrupts the integrity and security of educational spaces. This study aims to analyze the construction of Indonesian criminal law in ensnaring the spread of sexual deepfakes in educational environments, identify weaknesses in its regulations, and formulate a more ideal reconstruction of criminal liability. The method used is normative legal research with a qualitative descriptive approach, through a literature review of laws and regulations, scientific literature, and relevant documents related to deepfakes, electronic-based sexual violence, and legal protection in educational environments. The results of the discussion indicate that Indonesian positive laws, such as the ITE Law, the TPKS Law, the Pornography Law, the Personal Data Protection Law, and educational regulations, have essentially provided a normative basis for prosecuting such acts, but they are still partial, fragmented, and do not explicitly regulate sexual deepfakes as a separate crime. Therefore, a reconstruction of criminal liability is needed that explicitly recognizes non-consensual synthetic sexual representation as a crime, expands the forms of punishable acts, provides for greater severity in the context of educational relations, and comprehensively integrates criminal penalties with victim protection and recovery. Keywords: sexual deepfakes, criminal liability, students, educators, digital-based sexual violence.

This study aims to examine how an online bajaj-based pick-up and drop-off service developed by a kindergarten is implemented. The bajaj application is considered an innovation in a community-based educational transportation system. The limitations of conventional pick-up and drop-off systems in providing optimal efficiency, transparency, and safety form the basis of this research. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the use of the online bajaj application improves service quality through features such as booking services, real-time location tracking, and notifications to parents, which enhance time efficiency, transparency, and a sense of security. Compared to commercial transportation services, the community-based service model allows for more controlled operational management. However, challenges such as low digital literacy among users, limited network infrastructure, and potential data security risks were also identified. Critically, this innovation contributes significantly to the development of the smart mobility concept in the education sector, although it still requires improvement in terms of system sustainability and user data protection.

This article examines the pastoral phenomenon among the faithful, who firmly believe in the truth and infallibility of the Scriptures without feeling the need to interpret or explain the texts themselves. Based on limited interviews conducted, this study finds that this phenomenon does not arise from a lack of faith but rather from the Church’s teaching that emphasizes the authority of the Scriptures without allowing space for personal interpretation. The results of these interviews are combined with patristic sources and modern theological discussions to delve deeper into the integration of the truth of the Scriptures into the daily practice of the faithful. A tendency toward clerical interpretation has been found to hinder the sensus fidei, or the communal sense of faith, leading to an exaggerated fear of possibly misinterpreting the Scriptures. Therefore, an inclusive pastoral approach is needed, including through digital and catechetical media, to encourage the faithful to engage with the Scriptures within the bounds of ecclesiastical unity. This aims to ensure that the faith of the faithful is not only a matter of belief but is also practiced with true and comprehensive understanding.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using light sticks and without lights on catching ribbonfish from the number of catches. The method used in this study is an experimental fishing method with data analysis using the T test. This study was conducted in the waters of Pasongsongan Sumenep. The results of the ribbonfish catch during 16 trips with light sticks totaled 163 fish, while those without lights totaled 67 fish. The type of ribbonfish caught was dominated by the Trichiurus lepturus species. From the catch results, a T test analysis was carried out and the results of the Paired samples test showed a sig. value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference in the number of catches in the use of light sticks and without lights placed on the fishing hook position. This is because ribbonfish have phototactic properties towards light, in addition to searching for food more dominantly using the sense of sight.

The increase in the number of elderly residents demands the provision of residential facilities that not only meet physical needs, but also support the psychological and social well-being of their users. This study aims to formulate the concept of behavioral architecture-based nursing home design by focusing on the relationship between elderly activity patterns, privacy levels, and spatial relationships of space in the local context of Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach in the framework of architectural design, with data collection through observation of elderly activities, site analysis, and documentation studies. Activity data was analyzed to identify space needs and usage patterns, then synthesized with site characteristics to formulate the concepts of zoning, circulation, and behavior-based spatial relationships. The results of the study show that the activities of the elderly form a layered behavioral structure, including residential and health activities as primary needs as well as social, productive, and educational activities as support for psychosocial welfare. Hierarchically arranged space zoning based on privacy levels has been proven to improve the readability of the space, sense of security, and comfort of the elderly. The integration of green open spaces as part of the activity system also strengthens support for light physical activity and social interaction. This study confirms that the application of behavioral architecture allows the translation of data on elderly behavior and site conditions into a contextual, humanist, and quality-of-life-oriented design concept. These findings provide practical implications for designers and policymakers in the development of sustainable elderly housing.

This study analyzes the juridical issues related to the implementation of criminal sanctions below the statutory minimum, as reflected in Cassation Decision Number 7853/K/Pid.Sus/2024. The focus of this research centers on the tension between the rigid provisions of Article 111 paragraph (1) of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics and the reality of judicial practice, which often deviates from these provisions. This phenomenon raises debates regarding the extent to which the principle of legality can be compromised in pursuit of justice without undermining the pillar of legal certainty within Indonesia’s criminal justice system. Using a normative legal research method with a statutory and case study approach, this study qualitatively analyzes judges’ considerations. The findings indicate that, although the policy of imposing sentences below the minimum carries the risk of creating legal uncertainty, the Supreme Court in this case reinterpreted the principle of legality. Judges tend to prioritize proportionality and substantive justice to avoid purely mechanical punishment. The study concludes that, while judicial discretion represents a concrete expression of judicial independence, such practice requires clearer normative parameters. Without explicit regulation, deviations from the statutory minimum risk widening disparities in judicial decisions. Therefore, standardized sentencing guidelines are necessary to preserve legal integrity while maintaining a sense of justice for defendants.

This study explores the integration of community driven learning practices in the adoption of educational technology and its impact on sustainability. With the rapid advancement of digital tools and platforms, higher education institutions have increasingly adopted online and hybrid learning models to enhance teaching and learning. However, despite the potential benefits, aligning institutional goals with community needs remains a significant challenge. This research utilizes a mixed methods approach, combining stakeholder surveys, policy analysis, and comparative case studies to evaluate the effectiveness of both top down and community aligned adoption models. The findings reveal that community driven models, which involve local stakeholders in the decision making process, lead to higher engagement, better adoption rates, and greater long term sustainability compared to top down approaches. Stakeholders, including educators, students, and administrators, reported that participatory decision making fostered a sense of ownership and ensured the relevance of adopted technologies. The study also identifies key sustainability factors, including participatory decision making, long term community engagement, and contextual relevance, which are crucial for ensuring that educational technologies remain effective and beneficial over time. However, challenges such as resistance to change, lack of resources, and unequal access to technology were found to hinder the successful implementation of sustainable models. The research concludes with practical recommendations for educational institutions and policymakers to adopt community aligned models and ensure equitable access to technology. Future research directions are suggested to further explore the balance between institutional innovation and community driven learning, with a focus on long term outcomes and the adaptability of these models across different educational contexts.

This study aims to demonstrate that a lack of curiosity is a fundamental factor influencing adolescents’ preference for social media over traditional news outlets. To examine this issue, the research employed a mixed-method approach combining quantitative and qualitative data gathered through questionnaires. A total of 30 informants participated and were categorized into two developmental groups: early adolescents aged 12–14 and middle adolescents aged 15–17. The questionnaire explored respondents’ curiosity levels, information-seeking habits, and motivations for choosing certain media platforms. The findings indicate that low curiosity significantly contributes to the preference for social media among early adolescents. At this stage, their interest in deeper information is still limited, making them more inclined toward fast, simple, and entertaining content. However, the hypothesis is less applicable to middle adolescents. Although they also frequently use social media, their media choices are influenced by additional factors such as peer dynamics, a growing sense of autonomy, and broader exposure to information from various sources. This difference suggests that the relationship between curiosity and media preference becomes more complex as adolescents mature. Overall, the study highlights that strategies to encourage critical information-seeking behavior must be tailored to adolescents’ developmental stages.
