This research aims to examine the influence of digital literacy on elementary school students' interest in reading and writing during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is qualitative research using the systematic literature review (SLR) method. Information is taken from the Google Scholar database for the last 5 years, viz. between 2020 and 2024 in full text format. The research results show that the Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on elementary school students' education, especially in distance learning. Obstacles faced include lack of facilities, slow internet connection, and lack of direct interaction. Parents and teachers also face the challenges of costs, adapting to technology, and difficulty controlling and understanding students. However, online learning opens up opportunities for innovation and collaboration between parents, teachers and the community. Research also shows that the pandemic affects elementary school students' digital literacy and reading interest. Rahman found an increase in reading ability despite obstacles. Mirnawati identified the challenges and opportunities of online learning. Siroj noted that good digital literacy increases interest in reading. Andarini concluded that digital literacy at the UPI Serang Pilot Laboratory Elementary School was going quite well. Salsabillah revealed the negative impact of online learning on literacy and numeracy. Ayuniar highlighted the important role of teachers in teaching reading skills. Solahudin identified internal and external factors that influence students' reading interest. Anam emphasized the need for educational updates and technological support during the pandemic.

Developing an interest in early childhood reading is the initial step towards recognizing the significance of literacy in society. Early childhood literacy is an essential part of the language development process and has a significant role in enhancing the overall quality of education. The presence of appropriate facilities and resources in a school setting plays a crucial role in promoting reading engagement among children who are in their early years of education. The reading interest program not only goes government accountability, but it also allows the public to contribute to the sustaining of such efforts. As part of its community service efforts, the Faculty of Economics at the University of Krisnadwipayana places special emphasis on early childhood education. This project entails educators and students collaborating to create and implement a reading corner program in Desa Tugu Utara, Bogor. This program has a significant influence on the implementation of early literacy activities for kids of all ages, which are set up by the community service team of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Krisnadwipayana.

Abstract. One technology that is widely used today is ChatGPT, a chatbot that utilizes AI in its operation. One of the impacts that needs to be considered is the decline in student interest in reading. Students reading interest may decrease due to the convenience offered by ChatGPT through services that use natural human language. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of using ChatGPT on students' reading interest as well as identify other factors that may affect reading interest. This study investigates the effect of using AI ChatGPT on reading interest by involving respondents through filling out a Google Form questionnaire, that is Information Systems students at ITS. The results showed that there was no significant effect of using ChatGPT on the reading interest of ITS Information Systems students. The proposed recommendations include increasing student awareness of the importance of reading accredited literature, books, and scientific articles in the era of digital development. In conclusion, this study provides an in-depth insight into the influence of AI Chat GPT respondents regarding the reading interest of ITS Information Systems students.   Keywords: Artificial Intelligences (AI), Chat GPT, Reading Interest.   Abstrak. Salah satu teknologi yang marak digunakan saat ini adalah ChatGPT, sebuah chatbot yang memanfaatkan AI dalam operasinya. Salah satu dampak yang perlu diperhatikan adalah penurunan minat baca mahasiswa. Minat baca mahasiswa dapat menurun karena kemudahan yang ditawarkan oleh ChatGPT melalui servis yang menggunakan bahasa alami manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap minat baca mahasiswa serta mengidentifikasi faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi minat baca. Studi ini menyelidiki pengaruh penggunaan AI ChatGPT terhadap minat baca dengan melibatkan responden melalui pengisian kuesioner Google Form yaitu mahasiswa Sistem Informasi di ITS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap minat baca mahasiswa Sistem Informasi ITS. Rekomendasi yang diajukan mencakup peningkatan kesadaran mahasiswa akan pentingnya membaca literatur terakreditasi, buku, serta artikel ilmiah di era perkembangan digital. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai pengaruh AI Chat GPT responden terkait minat baca mahasiswa Sistem Informasi ITS. Application of Arabic Language Lessons in the Habit of Reading the Qur'an As Muslims, we are required to always read and study the Qur'an in accordance with the decision issued by the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, which requires every Muslim to continue to improve their abilities and interest in reading the Koran. To achieve this goal, many Al-Qur'an study institutions have created various methods, one of which is by linking Arabic language lessons to the habit of reading the Al-Qur'an. Learning Arabic is one application in getting used to reading the Koran. By getting into the habit of reading the Qur'an through Arabic lessons, interest in reading and the ability to improve reading of the Qur'an, such as tajwid, makharijul letters, and others, will increase. The aim of this research is to get an overview of the application of Arabic language lessons in the habit of reading the Al-Qur'an. The research method used is descriptive, which can explain the topic to be studied. The results of this study show that Arabic plays an important role in reading the Koran. The background to this research is that there are still many children who lack focus and lack enthusiasm in implementing the Al-Qur'an reading habit program, and do not pay enough attention to and implement habituation programs both at school and at home. Therefore, the application of Arabic language lessons in the habit of reading the Al-Qur'an is able to increase students' reading interest, skills and fluency in reading the Al-Qur'an, both at school, home and in everyday life.

The aim of this research is to describe the reading interest of fifth-grade students at SD 101776 Sampali, identify the contributing factors, and seek solutions to improve it. The subjects of this study are the fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 101776 Sampali. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques include interviews and questionnaires to ensure objective data gathering. Based on observations and interviews with the fifth-grade teacher at SD Negeri 101776 Sampali, supported by distributing questionnaires to the students, it was found that students show little enthusiasm for reading and seldom seek out answers on their own. Instead, they often ask for answers that are already available in the reading materials. Students tend to read only when instructed by the teacher. Even reading textbooks is often done only when there are exams or tests. The low interest in reading among students is also influenced by the type of reading materials available. Typically, students are required to read materials related to their school subjects and are pressured by upcoming exams. This leads to a situation where students view reading as a means to achieve grades rather than for enjoyment.

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using comic media on students' reading interest at SD 1 Menawan. This research uses quantitative methods with the research method being Quasi Experiment (quasi experiment). Data collection techniques used in this research include interview guides, comics and questionnaires. The respondents in this study were all students in grades IV and V as the control and experimental classes at SD 1 Menawan. Data analysis techniques were processed and analyzed using SPSS 20 data processing software. The research data obtained was carried out by normality test, hypothesis test, and t-test. The sig value was obtained from the results of the t-test of the two variables of the experimental class and the control class of 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that Ho was rejected, which means that the use of comic media as a teaching material has an effect on the increase in students' interest in reading at SD 1 Menawan.

The Indonesian language, as the national language, plays a crucial role in higher education, serving not only as a means of communication but also as a vehicle for the development of scientific knowledge. However, the understanding and usage of academic Indonesian in universities remain challenging. This study analyzes the comprehension and utilization of academic Indonesian at the Universitas Negeri Medan by both students and lecturers. The research methodology employs a qualitative approach with a literature review technique. Findings reveal that the usage of Indonesian still falls short of linguistic standards, particularly in formal academic contexts. Factors such as a lack of reading interest, inadequate awareness of the importance of academic Indonesian, and the predominance of foreign language usage impact the comprehension and application of academic Indonesian. Therefore, efforts are required to enhance the understanding and usage of academic Indonesian, including through mentoring, training, and increasing awareness of the significance of proper national language usage.

This research is motivated by the lack of students' reading ability and interest in reading at SMPN 1 Pagu and they prefer fun activities because they think that reading is boring unlike when reading novels, comics and other picture books. So in this case it requires special attention from teachers and parents to provide extra education for children so that they are interested in reading and improve their reading comprehension skills, both at home and especially at school. The formulation of the problem is 1) What is the influence of the Quantum Reading Learning Model on Students' Reading Comprehension Ability in Class Ⅶ Social Sciences Subjects at SMPN 1 Pagu? ; 2) What is the influence of the Quantum Reading Learning Model on Students' Reading Interest in Social Sciences Subjects in Class Ⅶ at SMPN 1 Pagu? . The research objectives in this thesis are 1) To determine the effect of the Quantum Reading learning model on students' reading comprehension abilities in class VII social studies at SMPN 1 Pagu; 2) To determine the effect of the Quantum Reading learning model on students' reading interest in social studies subjects at SMPN 1 Pagu, Kediri Regency in 2023/2024. This research uses a quantitative approach. Quasi experimental type of quantitative research. The population in this study were all class VII students at SMPN 1 Pagu, Kediri Regency. The samples in this research were class VII B students consisting of 36 students and class VII C consisting of 36 students. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used is the paired sample T test (Paired Sample T Test). The results of the research show that 1) the Quantum Reading learning model has an influence on the Reading (Comprehension) of Class VII students at SMPN 1 Pagu, Kediri Regency 2023/2024, as evidenced by the obtained significance value (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. 2) the Quantum Reading learning model influences the reading interest of Class VII students at SMPN 1 Pagu, Tulungahung Regency 2023/2024, as evidenced by the acquisition of students' reading interest with a significance (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

The education sector requires innovation to prepare students to become competent individuals and to produce high-quality individuals in society by equipping them with various 21st-century skills to meet the demands of changing times. Through the everyone is teacher here learning strategy, it is hoped that students can develop critical thinking skills, which are highly essential in the current era of globalization.This research aims to explore how the everyone is teacher here learning strategy is implemented in SMKN 1 Wonosobo, its impact on fostering critical thinking, the factors influencing its implementation, and the outcomes after its execution. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involves triangulation.The findings reveal that the Islamic Education teachers at SMKN 1 Wonosobo have effectively implemented the everyone is teacher here learning strategy. The cultivation of students' critical thinking skills has started to progress well, although there are indicators that need reinforcement due to some students' lack of concentration in receiving new material. Supportive factors for the "everyone is teacher here" strategy are easily planned and implemented, encouraging students to actively engage in developing their thinking skills. Inhibiting factors include lack of concentration, reading interest, and self-confidence among some students. The implementation of the "everyone is teacher here" strategy has led to students' progress in critical thinking, increased self-confidence, self-expression, and greater responsibility.

Advances in technology and the way we access information have an impact on reading interest causing changes in literacy culture that are important to understand. The spread of information technology that is getting easier and faster, not only brings benefits but also has a bad impact. Therefore, the need for understanding in filtering information, one of which is by increasing digital literacy. This study aims to review more thoroughly and synthesize the latest literature to provide knowledge about the development of digital literacy and efforts to increase digital literacy, especially for students. The method applied is a qualitative approach. Using the Sinta database, this study applies systematic literature review (SLR) techniques to thoroughly assess the trends and developments of Digital Literacy. This study reveals several conclusions on the main topic: In an effort to improve digital literacy in students, it can be done by developing a critical mindset, functional skills, communication and interaction, accurately sorting and evaluating information, and understanding digital culture.

The low interest in reading among elementary school (SD) students poses a significant challenge in the context of primary education. This article identifies various factors that contribute to the low interest in reading among students, including lack of access to engaging reading materials, insufficient support from parents, lack of motivation or intrapersonal interest, uninteresting curriculum and teaching methods, influence of electronic media, socio-economic conditions, lack of reading role models, and difficulties in reading. The analysis yields recommendations that encompass improving access to engaging reading materials, encouraging parental support, fostering student motivation and intrapersonal interest, and developing engaging curriculum and teaching methods. Through a holistic and sustainable approach, it is hoped that these recommendations can help address the challenges of low reading interest among elementary school students and enhance the quality of literacy learning at the primary level.

This research aims to determine the influence of library collections on the reading interest of Medan Baptist Theological College students.  This research uses a quantitative approach with inferential statistics.  With a total population of 88 Medan Baptist Theological College students in 2023.  Data was collected using a 30-item questionnaire compiled by the author based on variable indicators according to theory.  The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence in the Library Collection on the Reading Interest of Medan Baptist Theological College Students: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test the positive influence, the value rxy = 0.462 > rtable (=0.05,  n=31) = 0.355, thus it is known that there is a positive influence between variable  Thus, there is a significant relationship between variable  b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 21.31%.  3) Test the hypothesis using the F test to obtain Fcount > Ftable, namely 7.854>4.00.  Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

The purpose of this research is to determine the level of reading interest of students at Sri Langkat Tanjung Pura Private Vocational School, to determine the level of media literacy abilities of Sri Langkat Tanjung Pura Private Vocational School students, and to find out how much influence reading interest has on students' media literacy abilities at Sri Langkat Private Vocational School. Tanjung Pura. This research uses descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. This quantitative approach emphasizes analysis in the form of numbers (numerical values) which are processed using statistical methods. In this case, researchers want to know how interest in reading influences students' media literacy skills at SMK S Sri Langkat Tanjung Pura. The results of this research show that interest in reading has gone well among students at the Sri Langkat Tanjung Pura Private Vocational School. This was shown in the presentation as many as 23.10% answered strongly agree, 74.01% answered agree, 02.78% answered disagree, while 00.11% answered strongly disagree. Because many students have the motivation to read, feel happy when reading reading sources, and are not forced to read. Media Literacy Skills have also gone well among Sri Langkat Tanjung Pura Private Vocational School students. This was shown in the presentation as many as 33.45% answered strongly agree, 65.48% answered agree, 01.07% answered disagree, while 00.00% answered strongly disagree. Because students already understand what kind of information they really need, students also know that information can only be obtained through any media such as books, the internet, newspapers, magazines or encyclopedias. And the influence of interest in reading on the media literacy abilities of Sri Langkat Tanjung Pura Private Vocational School students has a strong influence which can be seen from the influence test, t test results and the results of the coefficient of determination R2. The results of the t test of Reading Interest as an independent variable on Media Literacy Ability as a dependent variable show the results of the t count = 9.001 and t table = 1.987 (t count > t table) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that Reading Interest has a strong influence on Literacy Ability Media or in other words H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Improving and developing the mini library at Jabung Wetan State Elementary School is a program designed by teaching campus students with the approval of the school and field supervisor lecturers (DPL). This program aims to meet the needs of the school community in the teaching and learning process, especially in increasing literacy activities for students' reading interest in the school environment. The method used in this service article is descriptive qualitative by going directly into the field to carry out observation and survey activities in school libraries.This program activity goes through several stages which include: (1) making and distributing book donation pamphlets to school residents and the outside community, (2) collecting donated books, (3) buying books from the money from donations, (4) cleaning and arranging the cooperative space which will be transformed into a library, (5) the process of decorating the library, (6) the process of classifying books based on their type, (7) writing a list of books into the main library book, (8) making labels for each books, (9) arranging and arranging books on shelves, (10) selecting and appointing library ambassadors.

The community service program "Village Literacy Movement: Building Reading and Writing Culture in Pangkalan Benteng Village" aims to enhance reading and writing skills and establish a literacy culture within the village community. The primary issue addressed is the low literacy rate, which limits access to information and educational opportunities. The methods used in this program include literacy training and various literacy activities such as group reading, writing competitions, and book discussions. The results show significant improvements in reading and writing skills among children and adults, increased reading interest, and the development of a stronger literacy culture. Community empowerment and the enhancement of local leadership capacity were also achieved through active involvement in the management and implementation of the program. This program demonstrates that a participatory approach and access to quality reading materials can effectively improve literacy and empower communities.
