This research is motivated by concerns about the decline in communication quality and character values among youth due to the use of slang language that does not adhere to proper linguistic norms, particularly through the widespread use of social media. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of slang language used on social media on the development of character values among female students at STITMA Yogyakarta, as well as to explore their perspectives on this phenomenon in daily life. This study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The population consists of fourth- and sixth-semester female students from the Islamic Education (PAI) and Arabic Education (PBA) programs, with a sample of 75 students selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The data were analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing through the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results show that the calculated r-value of 0.967 is greater than the critical r-value of 0.2272, indicating a significant and positive influence between the use of slang language and character values. Thus, slang language is proven to impact the character development of female students in today’s digital era.

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of Islamic children's music extracurricular activities in supporting the language development of children aged 4-5 years at TK Muslimat NU 200 Kureksari. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews with teachers and documentation of extracurricular activities. The results of the study indicate that Islamic children's music activities consisting of religious songs and Islamic prayers are effective in improving children's vocabulary, articulation, and understanding of language concepts. Children who participate in this extracurricular activity show significant improvements in speaking skills, mastery of new vocabulary, and understanding of the meaning of Islamic words used in songs. This study concludes that Islamic music has an important role in the language development of early childhood and can be an effective tool in fun language learning.

This study aims to examine the historical development of the science of shorof with a focus on the contribution of classical scholars to the systematics of Arabic morphology, especially in the infaʽala verb pattern. Using a qualitative approach and literature study methods, this study traces the linguistic thoughts of figures such as Sībawayh, al-Mubarrid, Ibn Jinnī, to al-Raḍī. The results of the study show that the majority of classical scholars determine the infaʽala pattern as a non-transitive verb (lāzim) that contains the meaning of muṭāwaʽah, and is closely related to the basic pattern of faʽala. In addition, there were restrictions on certain letters as basic letters in this pattern to avoid sound assimilation (idghām). This study confirms that the Arabic morphological system is built on regular and logical rules, and the contribution of classical scholars is very significant in laying the scientific foundations of the science of shorof which are still relevant today

This study analyzes the development of expressive language skills in children aged 4 to 5 years living in multilingual environments. The research aims to understand how exposure to multiple languages influences the expressive abilities of young children. A qualitative approach was applied, involving observation and structured interviews with parents and educators. Findings indicate that children in multilingual settings exhibit varied vocabulary usage and code-switching behaviors, with some delays in expressive fluency compared to monolingual peers, yet with enhanced pragmatic skills. The study highlights the importance of supportive linguistic environments and tailored educational strategies to foster optimal language development. These findings have implications for educators, speech therapists, and parents in managing multilingualism during early childhood.

The Indonesian language has absorbed numerous loanwords from various foreign languages, including German. Although the influence of German is not as significant as that of Dutch, Arabic, or Sanskrit, it plays a crucial role, particularly in scientific, technological, medical, and philosophical terminology. This study aims to examine the historical background, development, and adaptation of German loanwords in Indonesian. Using a qualitative approach, data collection was conducted through literature review and linguistic analysis. The findings indicate that many German words entered Indonesian through scientific and academic fields, with some undergoing phonetic and morphological adaptation. The influence of German in Indonesia continues, particularly in academic and industrial sectors, suggesting potential future linguistic integration.

The digital era has brought significant changes to the use of Indonesian in various aspects of life, including daily communication, the academic world, as well as the creative industry and tourism. Phenomena such as code-mixing, the use of slang, and the dominance of foreign terms in the formal sphere show that Indonesian continues to develop following the dynamics of globalization. This research aims to analyze how the linguistic development of Indonesian in the digital era affects the structure, meaning, and function of communication in society. The research methods used are literature review and phenomenological analysis of language use in social media, the world of work, and the tourism sector. The results show that although the digital era enriches vocabulary and communication expressions, there are challenges in preserving Indonesian as a national identity. The increasingly dominant influence of foreign languages has the potential to shift the use of Indonesian in formal and academic domains. Therefore, an adaptive language policy strategy is needed, including digital literacy education and increasing public linguistic awareness, to maintain a balance between the development and preservation of Indonesian.

This study examines the linguistic characteristics of the Quraysh dialect and its influence on the development of the pre-Islamic Arabic language. Using a qualitative research method based on a literature review, this study analyzes various sources discussing the phonology, morphology, and syntax of the Quraysh dialect and its role in the formation of standard Arabic. The findings reveal that the Quraysh dialect has a smoother phonological system, a more structured grammar, and a richer vocabulary compared to other Arabic dialects. Its influence became more significant after being used in the Qur’an, which served as the primary reference in the development of standard Arabic. Additionally, classical linguists adopted the Quraysh dialect as the foundation for Arabic grammatical rules. Thus, the Quraysh dialect plays a central role in the evolution of the Arabic language from the pre-Islamic era to the modern period.

The Semitic language family is one of the oldest linguistic groups that has significantly influenced world civilizations, with Arabic as one of its main branches. Arabic has undergone a long historical journey from prehistoric times to the modern era, shaped by various historical, cultural, and social factors. The study of Fiqhul Lughah, or the philosophy of language, is crucial in understanding the transformation and development of Arabic in different historical contexts. This research employs a library research method, analyzing various literary sources such as books, scholarly journals, and ancient manuscripts that discuss the history and evolution of Semitic languages, particularly Arabic. The analysis is conducted using a descriptive-qualitative approach to comprehend the patterns of Arabic evolution from its ancient Semitic roots to its establishment as a major language in communication, literature, science, and religion. The findings indicate that Arabic has evolved gradually through various historical phases, from its pre-classical stage to the golden age of Islam and its modern adaptations. Understanding the history and classification of Arabic within the Semitic language family provides deeper insights into its dynamics and its significant role in shaping human civilization.

Social media has become an important part of modern society, including in Indonesia. Its rapid development has a significant influence on various aspects of life, one of which is language. The influence of social media on the development of the Indonesian language is often seen from the emergence of new terms, the use of informal language, and the simplification of sentence structures. Language changes influenced by social media raise concerns about the decline in the ability to speak good and correct Indonesian, especially among the younger generation. This study aims to determine the influence of social media on the development of the Indonesian language among teenagers. The findings include the entry of absorption from foreign languages, especially English. Words such as "selfie", "hashtag", "viral", and "followers" are examples of new vocabulary that originally came from English but are now widely used by Indonesian speakers. The influence of social media on the development of vocabulary in Indonesian can also be seen from the use of abbreviations and acronyms. Due to character limitations on some platforms such as Twitter, users often use abbreviations to express themselves.

The transformation of the Indonesian language in the digital era not only creates challenges for, but also opens up great opportunities for dynamic and adaptive language development. The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of the Indonesian language in the digital era including the challenges and opportunities in the current development of the language. This study uses a descriptive qualitative library research approach, which is a method commonly used in social and linguistic research. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles interactive method which includes three stages, namely data reduction, data grouping (condensation), and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study indicate that there are significant challenges faced, such as the use of slang and foreign terms that can threaten the authenticity of the language. The opportunities that arise are also very large for the development and preservation of the Indonesian language, where language access becomes wider and the community has the opportunity to enrich vocabulary and improve Indonesian language literacy through various educational platforms.

This study aims to identify the dominant factor of the use of Indonesian rather than their own regional language and the role of parents in the language development of 4-year-old children. The increasing use of gadgets among all ages has had many influences on children, one of the 4-year-old children who has been studied, named Mufidah, tends to use Indonesian rather than Banjarese, this is a factor in the use of gadgets given by her parents. This study uses a qualitative approach, a research method that focuses on in-depth observation to understand a phenomenon or social symptom. The techniques used in data collection are by analyzing various sources, recording, and interviews. The results of the study show that although the use of Indonesian is more dominant than Banjarese, the role of parents must be active in minimizing the use of gadgets for children by limiting time and also supervising the selection of videos watched. With the active role of parents, it will certainly have a positive impact on children in the use of gadgets and vice versa if parents do not supervise their children when they use gadgets, it will have a negative impact on children.

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk layanan transportasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi berbasis web yang memungkinkan proses pemesanan kendaraan dilakukan secara terintegrasi antara admin, penumpang, dan pengemudi. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kenyamanan dalam manajemen transportasi. Metodologi penelitian melibatkan analisis kebutuhan pengguna melalui wawancara dan survei, desain sistem menggunakan metode prototyping, serta implementasi menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan framework Laravel. Sistem ini dilengkapi dengan tiga modul utama: (1) modul admin untuk mengelola data pengguna, kendaraan, dan jadwal, (2) modul penumpang untuk melakukan pemesanan kendaraan, dan (3) modul pengemudi untuk menerima dan memproses order. Pengujian aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan metode black-box testing untuk memastikan setiap fungsi berjalan sesuai spesifikasi, serta evaluasi kepuasan pengguna untuk mengukur efektivitas dan kemudahan penggunaan aplikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi proses pemesanan kendaraan dan memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang lebih baik. Diharapkan aplikasi ini dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam manajemen layanan transportasi dan mendukung transformasi digital di industri ini. Penelitian ini juga membuka peluang untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, seperti integrasi dengan teknologi geolokasi dan pembayaran digital.

Advances in information and communication technology, including the use of gadgets, have affected various aspects of life, including language development in early childhood. This study aims to analyze the effect of gadget use on children's language development, especially early childhood who experience speech delays. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, using in-depth interviews with parents and children as a data collection technique. The results showed that excessive use of gadgets without supervision can inhibit children's verbal interaction, reduce stimulation from the social environment, and have an impact on speech delay. Other factors, such as lack of direct interaction with parents and excessive sugar consumption, also worsen children's language development. However, with learning strategies based on direct interaction and controlled utilization of devices as learning media, children's language development can be improved. This study emphasizes the importance of parents' role in providing assistance and limiting the use of devices. The results of this study provide insights for parents, educators, and researchers to better understand the impact of technology on children's development and the importance of appropriate stimulation in supporting children's language skills.

Education in early childhood is the main foundation in individual development, especially in forming personality, social skills and cognitive abilities. One important aspect in early childhood education is the introduction of language, especially English which acts as a global lingua franca. This research analyses the effectiveness of the bilingual program in improving the English language skills of KG 1 students at Kiddos Preschool Gianyar. Bilingual programs are introduced through various methods such as educational games, songs, stories and murals that support language development in a natural and fun way. The research results show that this program has a positive impact on the development of students' vocabulary, comprehension and speaking skills. Factors such as interactive teaching methods, teacher and parent support, and the availability of adequate learning resources are the keys to the success of this program. Suggestions are given to increase the effectiveness of the program through innovative learning methods and continuous training for teachers, as well as strengthening collaboration with parents.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab dalam kurikulum madrasah di Indonesia. Bahasa Arab memiliki peranan penting dalam pendidikan agama Islam, terutama di lembaga pendidikan formal seperti madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi dokumentasi dan wawancara mendalam kepada para pengelola madrasah, guru Bahasa Arab, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di madrasah telah mengalami berbagai perubahan seiring dengan perkembangan kurikulum nasional. Meskipun terdapat upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran, masih terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi kebijakan tersebut, seperti kurangnya sumber daya pengajar yang berkualitas dan minimnya fasilitas pendukung. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya peningkatan pelatihan bagi guru Bahasa Arab serta pengembangan materi ajar yang lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Dengan demikian, diharapkan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di madrasah dapat lebih efektif dan berdampak positif terhadap pemahaman siswa terhadap bahasa dan budaya Arab.

This research aims to find out how language development is delayed in children and the factors that hinder language development and support language development in children aged 5-6 years at Abizar Al Hafiz IT Kindergarten. This research uses a qualitative approach research methodology with a case study approach. This approach is carried out holistically, by explaining phenomena through words and language. The location of this research is at the Abizar Al Hafiz IT Kindergarten which is located in Terutung Payung Hilir Village, Bambel District, Southeast Aceh Regency. The time of this research is from July 2024 to August 2024, the data source in this research is the subject, there are 2 students and the object of this research is observing the language development of children who experience delays in children at the Abizar Al Hafiz IT Kindergarten. As well as teachers and parents of children who live in that place. The researcher's data collection process used observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research revealed that young children with delays in language development find it difficult to communicate and mingle with other people, are less responsive when asked to communicate, pronounce words that are unclear or unclear, and have a very limited vocabulary. As well as factors that have the potential to cause delays in language development in children, namely the lack of children who are always given gadgets, the absence of peers to play with, the use of languages ​​other than Indonesian, the child's health history, and the lack of parental presence in the child's life.

Abstract. One technology that is widely used today is ChatGPT, a chatbot that utilizes AI in its operation. One of the impacts that needs to be considered is the decline in student interest in reading. Students reading interest may decrease due to the convenience offered by ChatGPT through services that use natural human language. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of using ChatGPT on students' reading interest as well as identify other factors that may affect reading interest. This study investigates the effect of using AI ChatGPT on reading interest by involving respondents through filling out a Google Form questionnaire, that is Information Systems students at ITS. The results showed that there was no significant effect of using ChatGPT on the reading interest of ITS Information Systems students. The proposed recommendations include increasing student awareness of the importance of reading accredited literature, books, and scientific articles in the era of digital development. In conclusion, this study provides an in-depth insight into the influence of AI Chat GPT respondents regarding the reading interest of ITS Information Systems students.   Keywords: Artificial Intelligences (AI), Chat GPT, Reading Interest.   Abstrak. Salah satu teknologi yang marak digunakan saat ini adalah ChatGPT, sebuah chatbot yang memanfaatkan AI dalam operasinya. Salah satu dampak yang perlu diperhatikan adalah penurunan minat baca mahasiswa. Minat baca mahasiswa dapat menurun karena kemudahan yang ditawarkan oleh ChatGPT melalui servis yang menggunakan bahasa alami manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap minat baca mahasiswa serta mengidentifikasi faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi minat baca. Studi ini menyelidiki pengaruh penggunaan AI ChatGPT terhadap minat baca dengan melibatkan responden melalui pengisian kuesioner Google Form yaitu mahasiswa Sistem Informasi di ITS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan ChatGPT terhadap minat baca mahasiswa Sistem Informasi ITS. Rekomendasi yang diajukan mencakup peningkatan kesadaran mahasiswa akan pentingnya membaca literatur terakreditasi, buku, serta artikel ilmiah di era perkembangan digital. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai pengaruh AI Chat GPT responden terkait minat baca mahasiswa Sistem Informasi ITS. Komunikasi yang efektif sangat penting dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, karena komunikasi ini meletakkan dasar bagi keberhasilan akademis dan keterampilan sosial di masa depan. Namun, kompleksitas komunikasi pada kelompok usia ini dapat menjadi tantangan, terutama dalam hal penerapan bahasa, logika, kode, dan simbol. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode kualitatif dengan mewawancarai salah satu guru yang ada di TK An Nizam. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan memalui observasi secara langsung dan melihat bagaimana cara guru, anak, dan orang tua dalam berkomunikasi yang efektif. Data-data yang sudah terkumpul melalui observasi di analisis secara deskriptif kualitatif Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi unsur-unsur tersebut dalam komunikasi pendidikan anak usia dini, menelusuri dampaknya terhadap hasil belajar anak. Studi tersebut menemukan bahwa integrasi bahasa, logika, kode, dan simbol dalam komunikasi pendidikan anak usia dini secara signifikan meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak, keterampilan pemecahan masalah, dan kemahiran berbahasa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa guru harus memasukkan unsur-unsur ini ke dalam praktik pengajaran mereka untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih menarik dan efektif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengetahuan yang ada dengan memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya mengintegrasikan bahasa, logika, kode, dan simbol dalam komunikasi pendidikan anak usia dini.
