This study examines the eschatological. Dimensions present in the encyclical Laudato Si’ and their implications for ecological responsibility within the Christian faith. The increasing global ecological crisis necessitates a serious theological reflection capable of grounding believers’ engagement with environmental issues in their faith convictions. Eschatology, as the doctrinal framework concerning ultimate realities, addresses not merely the end of individual human existence but, more profoundly, the hope for the renewal and transformation of all creation in God. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, drawing primarily on ecclesiastical documents, Sacred Scripture, and relevant theological literature. The findings demonstrate that Laudato Si’ integrates a robust eschatological vision, wherein the promise of “a new heaven and a new earth” constitutes the theological foundation for human responsibility toward creation. Contrary to interpretations that treat eschatological hope as a rationale for passivity or disengagement from the world, Laudato Si’ affirms that such hope actively motivates believers to participate in the care and preservation of the environment as an integral expression of their faith calling. This study concludes that eschatology possesses genuine practical relevance for everyday Christian life, particularly in cultivating ecological awareness. Faith in the ultimate fulfillment of God’s salvific plan, far from diminishing present-day responsibilities, intensifies the moral obligation to treat the earth as a “common home” entrusted to humanity.

This study was conducted with the aim of explaining the influence of the project based learning model assisted by four square on the ability to write argumentative texts of class XI students of SMA Negeri 12 Semarang and its implications in learning to write. The method used in this study is a quantitative quasi-experimental approach with the nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. This design was chosen to determine the difference in the ability to write argumentative texts between students taught using the project based learning model assisted by four square and students taught with ordinary or conventional learning models. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of the project based learning model assisted by four square on students' argumentative text writing skills through the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test of 115.500, a Z value of -4.973, and a significance value (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) of <0.001. Because the significance is smaller than 0.05, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected. It can be said that there was a significant difference between the results of the argumentative text writing test of students in the experimental class and the control class. Based on this, the application of the project based learning model assisted by four square can be used as an alternative learning model that has a positive influence on the ability to write argumentative texts of class XI students and has implications for writing learning.

This study critically examines the transformation of the regulatory framework governing Fixed-Term Employment Agreements (Perjanjian Kerja Waktu Tertentu/PKWT) following the enactment of Indonesia’s Job Creation Law and its implications for workers’ legal protection. The research focuses on the paradigm shift from a worker-protection-oriented model toward labor market flexibility and its impact on employment security. Using a normative juridical approach, this study employs comparative legal analysis between the Manpower Act No. 13 of 2003 and the Job Creation Law No. 6 of 2023, along with its implementing regulation, Government Regulation No. 35 of 2021. The analysis is supported by systematic statutory interpretation, labor law doctrine, and Constitutional Court Decision No. 168/PUU-XXI/2023. The findings reveal a significant regulatory shift characterized by the extension of the maximum duration of fixed-term contracts, the removal of mandatory grace periods for contract renewal, and the substantial narrowing of grounds for automatic conversion of PKWT into permanent employment agreements (PKWTT). Although the Job Creation Law introduces new protective instruments, including end-of-contract compensation and expanded social security coverage, these measures are insufficient to offset the decline in job security and legal certainty for workers. Consequently, workers face an increased risk of prolonged employment precarity. This study underscores the urgency of rebalancing labor market flexibility with the constitutional rights of workers in Indonesia’s future labor law reform. The development of globalization, digital technology, and social change has influenced the way young people understand and live out their faith. Secularism tends to place religion in the private sphere, so that religious values do not always become the basis for decision-making in daily life. This study aims to analyze the challenges of secularism to the formation of the identity of Catholic youth in the modern era and to formulate relevant religious education responses in addressing these dynamics. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method that examines various scientific literature, Church documents, and research findings related to the phenomenon of secularism and the formation of the religious identity of Catholic youth. The results of the study indicate that secularism has a complex impact on the faith life of young people, including decreased participation in Church activities, the emergence of individualistic attitudes, and the tendency to view religion merely as a formal identity. However, on the other hand, the modern era also opens opportunities for young people to develop their faith creatively through the use of digital technology and involvement in faith communities. Therefore, Catholic religious education and pastoral accompaniment that are dialogical, contextual, and participatory are very important in helping Catholic youth integrate their faith into daily life. This study is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions for educators and pastoral ministers in fostering the faith identity of Catholic youth in modern society.

From the beginning of creation, God had forbidden the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, warning that anyone who ate it would face death. However, this warning was ignored when Eve, tempted by Satan's persuasion, chose to disobey God's command. This action led to sin, as it reflected a wrong decision and went against God's will. Originally, Adam and Eve lived in a state of holiness and freedom from sin. God Himself stated that humans were created in His image and likeness, meaning they possessed a purity and nobility that reflected His love. However, their decision to eat the forbidden fruit removed that purity. As a result, humans were separated from God's holiness and fell into sin. This is the basis for the teaching affirmed in Romans 3:23, which states that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." This wrong choice had profound consequences, illustrating the importance of obedience to God's commands for maintaining purity and an intimate relationship with Him.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of pedagogical competence among Christian Religious Education teachers and its implications for students’ learning interest at SMTK Katharos Bekasi. The study is based on the importance of teachers’ pedagogical competence in creating effective learning environments and increasing student engagement in the classroom. A qualitative approach with a descriptive design was applied in this research. Data were collected through classroom observations, questionnaire-based interviews with students, and literature review. The findings show that teachers’ pedagogical competence is categorized as good, with an average score of 33.8 or 75.1% of the maximum score, reflecting effective classroom management, appropriate material delivery, and proper student guidance. Students’ learning interest is also categorized as good, with an average score of 32.8 or 72.9%, indicating active participation and positive engagement in the learning process. Therefore, pedagogical competence positively influences students’ learning interest, and continuous improvement is needed to enhance learning effectiveness.

Adolescence is a period of development characterized by rapid physical, emotional, and social changes, making adolescents vulnerable to various forms of violence, including sexual harassment. This phenomenon occurs in various contexts, including family, school, community, and digital environments, and has serious impacts on adolescents' psychological, social, and academic well-being. This study aims to comprehensively examine the phenomenon of sexual harassment among adolescents and its implications for guidance and counseling services in educational settings. The method used is a literature review by reviewing various relevant scientific articles from the past six years obtained through electronic databases. The analysis process was carried out using content analysis techniques by grouping findings based on main themes, namely forms of sexual harassment, risk factors, impacts, and the role of guidance and counseling services. The results of the study indicate that sexual harassment among adolescents occurs in various forms, both directly and through digital media, with complex causal factors encompassing individual, family, social, and cultural aspects. The impacts are not only physical, but also psychological and social in the long term. Guidance and counseling services play a crucial role in preventive, curative, and developmental efforts through education, mentoring, and strengthening students' social skills. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of strengthening guidance and counseling services as a systematic strategy in creating a safe and responsive school environment to cases of sexual harassment in adolescents.

Formal education systems are often trapped in rigid standardization that actually shackles students' creativity and personal uniqueness. This issue raises questions about the extent to which individual freedom is accommodated in modern curricula that tend to be pragmatic. Departing from this issue, this study aims to explore the relevance of Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Romanticism which prioritizes affection and the general will in the context of education. Rousseau argued that the development of science and culture often acts as a chain that restrains humans, thus he proposed the concept of natural education that allows children's instincts to develop freely without damaging cultural intervention. Using qualitative methods based on literature review, this research identified a strong common ground between Rousseau's vision and Indonesia's Freedom to Learn policy. The study reveals that both share a common philosophical foundation: restoring educational sovereignty to institutions and students, allowing them to independently develop their potential, talents, and interests. Therefore, synchronizing Rousseau's ideas with Freedom to Learn serves as a crucial foundation for creating a higher-quality and more humane national education ecosystem.

The concept of science according to Ibn Rushd emphasizes the harmony between religion and philosophy, as well as the importance of using rational thinking methods to achieve the truth. He divides human intellectual abilities into three levels, namely rhetoric, dialectical, and demonstrative, and distinguishes science into theoretical and practical sciences. According to Ibn Rushd, knowledge is obtained through cooperation between the senses, imagination, and intellect, so that the human thought process must run systematically and logically. This research uses the library research method to examine the relevance of Ibn Rushd's thought to Islamic boarding school education in the modern era. The results of the study show that Ibn Rushd's ideas can be the basis for integration between religious science and science, encourage the strengthening of students' critical reasoning, and avoid scientific dichotomy. In addition, the application of his thinking has the potential to improve the quality of learning for Islamic boarding schools to be more contextual, inclusive, and adaptive to the development of science and technology. Thus, the concept of Ibn Rushd's knowledge can strengthen the direction of pesantren education towards a holistic and civilization-oriented education system.

This article examines Indonesia’s public policy on personal data protection in light of Law No. 27/2022, which mandates the establishment of an independent Personal Data Protection Authority (PDP Authority). Despite this legal requirement (Article 58 UU PDP), no such institution has been formed. As a result, there is currently no supervisory authority with the mandate to audit compliance, impose administrative sanctions, or resolve data protection disputes. Enforcement of the law has thus remained reactive rather than preventive, with violations prosecuted only after harm occurs. Experts warn that without a strong implementing agency, deterrence is weak: administrative sanctions cannot be effectively applied and punished violations continue unchecked. Cybersecurity analysts even describe this gap as a national digital protection crisis, as personal data leaks (e.g. millions of citizens’ records exposed in recent breaches) continue unabated. Using a normative legal research approach and literature review, this study analyzes how the lack of the mandated PDP Authority undermines the effectiveness of data protection in Indonesia. The article reviews relevant legal theory on regulatory independence and deterrence, and compares with international best practices (e.g. EU/GDPR). We find that the absence of the agency creates serious implementation gaps, and we urge the government to immediately form the PDP Authority and clarify its powers.

Blood sugar regulation problems such as diabetes are increasing, so sustainable management is needed. Kersen leaves (Muntingia calabura L.) are tropical plants that have potential as traditional blood sugar management through the content of phytochemical compounds contained therein. This article aims to review the potential of kersen leaves in blood sugar management and its implications in the wellness tourism approach. The method used is a literature review of scientific literature, especially the last five years related to the phytochemical content and antihyperglycemic activity of kersen leaves, as well as their implications in wellness tourism. The results of the literature review through in vivo and in vivo approaches show that kersen leaves contain potential phytochemical compounds such as flavonoids, phenols, tannins, alkaloids, and saponins that are able to regulate blood sugar by preventing the oxidation process of important molecules by free radicals, suppressing oxidative stress, inhibiting carbohydrate enzymes, increasing insulin production, and suppressing the glycogenolysis process. In the context of wellness tourism, kersen leaves as a herbal plant can be used as a healthy drink and have the potential to be studied further in the development of wellness tourism, especially related to herbal medicine.

Polysemy is an important semantic phenomenon in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools because one word form can have more than one interrelated meaning. Understanding polysemy affects students' reading skills, text comprehension, and literacy development. However, studies that specifically examine polysemy in elementary school Indonesian language materials are still limited. This study aims to examine the forms of polysemy, how they are presented in Indonesian language textbooks for elementary schools, and their implications for student understanding. The study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review design. Data were obtained from semantics books and national and international journal articles published between 2017 and 2024 that were relevant to the research topic. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that polysemy in elementary school Indonesian language materials appears in the form of context-based, functional, and extended meanings, with a presentation that is not yet fully systematic, thus potentially causing misconceptions and affecting students' reading comprehension.

This study analyzes the impact of fixed asset revaluation on corporate income tax liabilities in the domestic shipping sector. The background of this research is based on the importance of accurate fixed asset valuation in tax calculations, particularly for assets subject to value fluctuations, such as ships. The objective of this study is to identify the difference between the book value and the revalued value of ship fixed assets, and to analyze its implications for tax liabilities. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis methods, utilizing secondary data from the financial statements of PT. ABC as a case study. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to test the significant difference between the book value and the revalued value of assets. The results show a significant difference between the book value and the revalued value of PT. ABC's ship assets, resulting in an increase in tax liabilities. This research has significant implications for companies in implementing proper accounting practices and complying with applicable tax regulations, as well as for tax authorities in improving supervision and tax compliance.

Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) face the problem of stigmatization and negative image that has been rooted in public perception for several decades, where the social construction of TKI is dominated by narratives of exploitation, violence, and victimization reinforced by conventional mass media coverage. The phenomenon of TKI emerging as content creators on the TikTok platform opens new opportunities for migrant workers to represent themselves independently and build personal Branding that has the potential to reconstruct their image in public perception. This study aims to analyze the personal Branding strategies of TKI content creators on TikTok, measure the engagement patterns and reach of the content produced, and evaluate the transformation of public perception toward Indonesian migrant workers as an implication of these digital communication practices. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to explore the process of image reconstruction through personal Branding on the TikTok platform. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with five TKI content creators who have followers ranging from 750 thousand to 2.3 million, interviews with 50 active followers, and interviews with two digital communication experts. The research findings show that TKI content creators implement personal Branding strategies through content authenticity, narrative consistency, and positioning differentiation with engagement rates. Public perception changed significantly with a decrease in negative perception from 68 percent to 18 percent and an increase in positive perception from 10 percent to 55 percent within an exposure period of more than 12 months. Image reconstruction occurs through three mechanisms: humanization that displays the human side of TKI, normalization that elevates the profession as work worthy of respect, and inspiration that demonstrates their positive achievements. This study recommends that the government and related stakeholders support digital literacy for migrant workers to optimize social media platforms as a means of empowerment, as well as promote policies that protect and appreciate the contribution of TKI as an integral part of national economic development.

The reform of criminal law in Indonesia has become an increasingly urgent necessity in line with social developments, technological advancement, and the growing complexity and diversity of crime. Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the new Criminal Code (Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana/KUHP) emerges as a comprehensive effort to replace the colonial-era Criminal Code and to align the national criminal law system with the current conditions of Indonesian society. This new Criminal Code introduces several significant changes, including the regulation of cybercrime, protection of the environment, the reinforcement of humanitarian values, and the strengthening of the principle of limiting criminal sanctions on individual liberty in order to ensure the protection of human rights. This paper aims to analyze the direction and substance of the Criminal Code reform, evaluate its potential implementation, and assess the implications of these changes for criminal law enforcement practices in Indonesia. The research method employed is a literature review using a normative approach, conducted through the analysis of statutory regulations, criminal law theories, and relevant case studies. The results of the analysis indicate that the new Criminal Code provides a more adaptive and responsive legal framework to contemporary issues; however, the effectiveness of its implementation largely depends on the readiness of law enforcement authorities, the intensity of regulatory socialization, and the level of public legal awareness. This study concludes that criminal law reform represents a strategic step toward realizing a criminal justice system that is more just, effective, and aligned with the values of Pancasila.

This study aims to analyze in depth the quality of Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers in the learning process at schools and its implications for early childhood development. The quality of educators is viewed as one of the key factors determining the success of learning implementation and the achievement of educational objectives at the early childhood education level. This study employs a literature review method, which involves collecting various relevant scientific articles, books, and other academic sources related to the research topic, followed by systematic analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding and conclude the findings. The results indicate that the quality of educators has a significant influence on teachers’ success in performing their roles as facilitators, mentors, and educators in supporting children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and motor development. Therefore, the quality of early childhood educators needs to be continuously developed and improved through education, training, and professional development to maintain and enhance the quality of learning activities in schools. In addition, support from various stakeholders, including the government, educational institutions, schools, and parents, plays a crucial role in efforts to improve the quality of early childhood educators in an optimal and sustainable manner.

This study aims to examine the concept of intellectual intelligence from the perspective of the Qur’an and its implications for the development of contemporary Islamic education. The background of this research is rooted in the tendency of modern education to emphasize rational–cognitive aspects while neglecting spiritual and moral dimensions. This study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design, utilizing thematic analysis of Qur’anic verses, classical and contemporary tafsir works, and relevant scholarly literature. The findings reveal that intellectual intelligence in the Qur’an is understood holistically through the concepts of ‘aql, tafakkur, tadabbur, and tafaqquh, and is represented in the characteristics of ulul albab, qaum ya‘qilun, and ulul abshar. Qur’anic intellectual intelligence is not value-neutral but is integrated with God-consciousness and moral responsibility. The implications of this study emphasize the need for Islamic education to develop intellectual capacity in a critical, reflective, and value-oriented manner through dialogical learning, integrative curricula, and the role of educators as intellectual and moral facilitators. These findings reinforce the urgency of renewing the paradigm of Islamic education that balances intellect, faith, and morality.

This study traces the historical and intellectual processes that enabled Plato's ideas to enter the tradition of Islamic philosophy and subsequently influence Islamic boarding school education in Indonesia. Starting from the increasing openness of Islamic boarding schools to classical humanities, this study aims to understand how Plato's ideas were transferred from the context of Ancient Greece, reinterpreted by Muslim philosophers, and integrated into traditional learning practices. Using a library-based qualitative approach with hermeneutic, historical-intellectual, and thematic methods, this study analyzes the transmission pathways that include the Abbasid translation movement, the interpretive contributions of figures such as Al-Kindi, Al-Farabi, and Ibn Sina, and the absorption of concepts through literature on ethics, logic, and adab. The findings show that Islamic boarding schools did not inherit Plato's ideas directly, but rather through the Islamic philosophical tradition that reshaped Platonic elements to fit the Islamic intellectual framework. Concepts related to spiritual education, character building, and ethical rationality are in line with the orientation of tazkiyah al-nafs, which is the foundation of Islamic boarding school pedagogy. This study confirms that the relationship between Plato's ideas and Islamic education emerged through a long creative process, not merely a transfer of texts. Practically, these findings highlight opportunities to develop a more reflective, critical, and virtue-centered pesantren curriculum, while encouraging further ethnographic research to explore how the classical philosophical heritage is reinterpreted in contemporary santri learning practices.

This research aims to: (1) identify the variations of joyful learning in digital-based instruction using Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) tvs at SD Islam Nurul Ulum Kandangan, Kediri; and (2) determine the implications of joyful learning within digital-based instruction via IFP tvs at SD Islam Nurul Ulum Kandangan, Kediri. The data for this study were derived from visual records during lessons using IFP tvs and the students of SD Islam Nurul Ulum Kandangan. This study employed a qualitative method. Ata were gathered through observation and documentation. The analysis used a descriptive qualitative technique, presenting the subjects and research findings in a narrative form. The results from several classes utilizing IFP tvs based on joyful learning revealed various engaging learning activities. These include: Student digital literature, Digital learning matches, English language learning, Fine arts stencil printing, Honesty education based on Pancasila values. These activities integrate fun, game-based learning with IFP TV technology.
