This research is a library study aimed at analyzing the various reasons for curriculum changes in Indonesia. Curriculum evaluation plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and relevance of education by adapting to the dynamic changes in society. It helps identify the strengths and weaknesses of the curriculum and provides recommendations for improvement. However, several problems arise during implementation, particularly when teachers feel the time allocated to adapt to the new curriculum is insufficient, coupled with gaps in school facilities that make the implementation appear forced. The evaluation focuses on several key aspects: content, learning strategies, media, student learning outcomes, and teacher readiness, as teachers are the main drivers of knowledge transfer in the classroom. The qualitative descriptive approach, in the form of library research, collects data through systematic reviews, analysis stages, and information extraction from various sources. Over the course of the education system in Indonesia, from 1947 to 2024, the curriculum has undergone numerous changes. While these changes aim to improve the learning process and achieve optimal educational quality, they have had both positive and negative impacts. The influence of political agendas and the priorities of the ruling government have significantly shaped these curriculum changes. Despite these challenges, the rationale behind the changes lies in the effort to improve the learning experience and keep educational content up to date, reflecting the needs of the times. In conclusion, curriculum changes are essential to maintaining educational relevance, but proper preparation, sufficient time for adaptation, and adequate facilities are critical to the successful implementation of these changes. The research highlights the ongoing struggle to balance educational reforms with practical considerations for educators and students alike.

The waste problem in Tamanan village is an issue that needs serious attention because of its impact on environmental pollution and public health. One of the main challenges is the low awareness of residents, especially elementary school children, in terms of good and correct waste management. A lot of waste is thrown carelessly without sorting, which results in a decrease in the quality of cleanliness and health of the village environment. This community service program aims to improve students' understanding and skills in waste management through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach for 40 days. This program involves students of MI Nurur Rahman and SDN Tamanan 1 as the main subjects. The activities carried out include socialization about the importance of waste management, the delivery of material on types of waste, as well as the practice of sorting organic, inorganic, and B3 waste. In addition, the installation of educational media in the school environment and evaluation monitoring were also carried out. The results of the evaluation showed that 73% of students were able to answer the quiz questions correctly ≥70%, which indicates their good understanding of waste management. Some students also began to implement the habit of separating waste at home and inviting families to participate. Support from village officials and the existence of educational media are expected to strengthen the sustainability of this program. Participatory approaches have proven to be effective in raising environmental awareness and can be implemented sustainably through collaboration between schools, communities, and village governments.

This study aims to determine the level of problematic smartphone use (PSU) and revenge sleep procrastination (RBP) among MTs/SMP students in District X, while also examining the relationship between the two variables. The problem of excessive smartphone use among adolescents is increasingly important to study because it can impact sleep quality, learning concentration, and mental health. This research approach uses a quantitative correlational method with data collection through a bold questionnaire (Google Form). The research sample consisted of 103 MTs/SMP students in District X who were selected using an incidental sampling technique. The RBP variable measurement scale was developed by the researcher with reference to aspects proposed by Kroese et al. (2014). Meanwhile, the PSU Scale was developed based on dimensions formulated by Foerster et al. (2015), including withdrawal, desire, loss of control, dependence on peers, and negative life consequences. The results of the correlation analysis showed that PSU had a very strong positive relationship with RBP (r = 0.833) and was statistically significant (p < 0.000). This means that the higher a person's tendency to experience problematic smartphone use, the greater the likelihood of revenge bedtime delay. Among the dimensions of PSU, withdrawal showed the highest correlation with RBP (r = 0.831). This was followed by negative life consequences (r = 0.778), craving (r = 0.577), loss of control (r = 0.489), and dependence on peers (r = 0.333). Overall, this study concludes that PSU plays a significant role in increasing RBP trends among students. These findings highlight the urgent need for awareness and intervention programs to reduce excessive smartphone use among adolescents. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for schools and parents in designing strategies to prevent the negative impacts of smartphone use on adolescents.

Scabies is one of the infectious skin diseases that is still often found in Indonesia, especially in environments with high population densities such as Islamic boarding schools and orphanages. This disease is caused by an infestation of the Sarcoptes scabiei mite which causes severe itching, especially at night, so that it can interfere with the quality of sleep and daily activities of the sufferer. This condition not only has an impact on physical health, but also affects the psychological and social aspects of students. Scabies prevention efforts require adequate knowledge from each individual in order to maintain good personal hygiene and the environment. This study aims to determine the influence of health education through the peer education method on increasing students' knowledge in preventing scabies. The research method uses a quasi experiment design with a one group pre-test post-test approach. The research sample was taken using the total sampling technique, covering all students who were respondents. Data analysis was carried out by paired samples t-test to see differences in knowledge before and after the intervention. The results showed a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) which means that there is a significant influence of the peer education method on improving student knowledge. In other words, the delivery of health information through peers is considered effective because communication takes place more intimately, is easy to accept, and is able to increase awareness of the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene.

Education serves as a fundamental pillar in national development, as it not only enhances individual capacities but also improves overall social welfare. Despite this crucial role, Indonesia continues to face disparities in both access to and quality of education among its regions, as can be seen from variations in school participation indicators and socio-economic backgrounds. To analyze these differences, this study applied the K-Means Clustering method to categorize provinces in Indonesia using six variables: School Participation Rate, Net Enrollment Rate, Gross Enrollment Rate, Poverty Rate, High School Ratio, and Teacher Ratio. To identify the most suitable number of clusters, three validation indices were utilized, namely Dunn Index, C-Index, and Davies-Bouldin Index, with cluster counts tested from three to six. The results indicated that the best clustering solution was five clusters, as reflected in the highest Dunn Index (0.1569), lowest C-Index (0.0321), and lowest Davies-Bouldin Index (0.5062). The robustness of this clustering was further supported by the ratio between within-cluster and between-cluster standard deviation (S(w)/S(b) = 0.33). Each cluster revealed unique characteristics of education and socio-economic conditions, where Cluster 4 displayed the most favorable outcomes with high participation and low poverty levels, whereas Cluster 5 highlighted the weakest performance across all observed indicators.

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 24 students of class XII TM 2 of the Mechanical Engineering Expertise Program at Semen Padang Vocational School in the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection was carried out through learning activity observation sheets, practical assessment sheets, and multiple-choice tests to measure students' cognitive learning outcomes. The implementation of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship learning at Semen Padang Vocational School was previously teacher-centered. Students tended to be passive listeners during the learning process, which led to low participation, minimal interaction, and a lack of understanding of the material. As a result, most students were unable to achieve the Minimum Completion Standards (SKM). Based on this, the Jigsaw Cooperative learning model is considered suitable for application in Creative Products and Entrepreneurship learning, because it is able to create a student-centered learning atmosphere and encourage active involvement and cooperation between students. The results of the study prove that the application of the Jigsaw Cooperative learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes. This is based on the average student learning outcomes in cycle 1 of 75.2, where 17 students were declared complete. In cycle II, the average student learning outcomes were 85.2 with 21 students declared complete. The significant improvement in cycle II indicates that the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning model is not only effective in improving cognitive learning outcomes but also able to improve the quality of interactions between students in the learning process. Dysmenorrhea, or menstrual pain, is a common gynecological problem among adolescent girls and often interferes with their daily activities, school performance, and overall quality of life. Conventional pharmacological treatments such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are widely used but may cause side effects with long-term consumption. Therefore, safe and natural alternatives are needed to manage menstrual pain effectively. Carrot juice, which is rich in beta-carotene, vitamin E, and other antioxidants, has been reported to possess anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that could potentially reduce the severity of dysmenorrhea. This study aimed to determine the effect of carrot juice on reducing menstrual pain in female students at SMAN 1 Trimurjo. A pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest–posttest design was conducted involving 27 students who experienced dysmenorrhea. Pain intensity was assessed before and after the intervention using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results showed that before the intervention, the majority of respondents (85.2%) reported moderate pain, while after consuming carrot juice, 92.6% reported mild pain and 7.4% reported no pain. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference in pain levels before and after the intervention (p = 0.000, p < 0.05). These findings indicate that carrot juice is effective in reducing dysmenorrhea intensity among adolescent girls. As a safe, affordable, and easy-to-implement non-pharmacological therapy, carrot juice has the potential to be recommended as a complementary approach to menstrual pain management, especially for adolescents who seek natural remedies. Further research with larger samples and control groups is recommended to strengthen the evidence and explore the long-term benefits of carrot juice in menstrual health.
