Mathematics is often referred to as a field of knowledge developed through logical reasoning and is considered essential in everyday life, particularly in problem-solving. One effective way to apply problem-solving skills in mathematics education is through the use of word problems. This study aims to explore and analyze the various obstacles students encounter when solving mathematical word problems. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection methods including tests, interviews, and a project involving the construction of a staircase using standard units of length. The subjects of the study were four third-grade elementary school students in Batusangkar who had previously studied standard units of length. The findings reveal that students faced a range of difficulties, such as challenges in understanding the problems, failure to organize solution steps systematically, and limited comprehension of the concept of standard measurement units. Additionally, a lack of interest in learning was found to negatively impact students’ ability to solve word problems. Therefore, conceptual understanding and increased motivation to learn are crucial factors in enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities.

This study aims to examine the historical development of the science of shorof with a focus on the contribution of classical scholars to the systematics of Arabic morphology, especially in the infaʽala verb pattern. Using a qualitative approach and literature study methods, this study traces the linguistic thoughts of figures such as Sībawayh, al-Mubarrid, Ibn Jinnī, to al-Raḍī. The results of the study show that the majority of classical scholars determine the infaʽala pattern as a non-transitive verb (lāzim) that contains the meaning of muṭāwaʽah, and is closely related to the basic pattern of faʽala. In addition, there were restrictions on certain letters as basic letters in this pattern to avoid sound assimilation (idghām). This study confirms that the Arabic morphological system is built on regular and logical rules, and the contribution of classical scholars is very significant in laying the scientific foundations of the science of shorof which are still relevant today

Human decision-making often occurs under conditions of uncertainty, where understanding probabilities is essential for making informed choices. This study investigates how people perceive and apply probabilistic information in various decision-making contexts. A combination of quantitative and qualitative methods was used to analyze the decision patterns of 200 individuals from diverse backgrounds through scenarios involving uncertainty. The results show that most participants prefer relying on intuition or personal experience rather than using statistical reasoning. Several cognitive biases, such as ignoring probability, overestimating confidence, and relying on readily available information, were commonly observed. However, participants with a stronger grasp of probability concepts demonstrated more logical and beneficial decision-making, particularly in financial and organizational settings. The study highlights a clear link between probability literacy and decision quality. Improving public understanding of probabilistic thinking could enhance decision outcomes, especially in situations involving risk. Educational efforts to integrate probability awareness into learning environments are recommended to support better decision-making both individually and collectively.

Agraria law is the law that regulates relations between people and land and other people. Sudikno Mertokusumo explained that the law, also known as land law, is the interest of people in other people regarding land. According to Subekti, agrarian law is the totality of legal provisions, whether civil, state administration or state administration law, which also regulates authorities that originate from certain relationships. For information, the basis of agrarian law is regulated in Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning basic regulations on agrarian principles or UUPA. In this agrarian law regulation, there are at least seven principles1. These are: the principle of control by the state, the principle of social function, the principle of customary law, the principle of nationality or nationhood, the principle of limiting land ownership for the sake of the public interest, the principle of general planning and the principle of land preservation. From various literature it is known that the history of the birth of the UUPA tells the long history of the struggle of national figures in reducing the impartiality of land law for the benefit of society at large. In the era of reform, the logical consequences between political existence and interests and legal certainty, especially regarding land issues, have become a trending topic that is interesting to discuss. The complexity of land issues in this country is increasingly increasing and complicated, and is exacerbated by friction between interests that are politically charged. Legal politics consists of a series of words politics and law. (Suderto, et., al 1983) explains that politics is used in various meanings, namely: 2 1. The word polik in Dutch, which means something related to the State 2. Means discussing state issues or those related to the State Furthermore, Sudarto emphasized that the meaning of politics is policy which is a synonym for policy. In this sense, the words economic politics, crime, legal politics and criminal law politics are found. The relationship between politics and law, according to (Mahfud et., al 1998) explains that law is a political product. Law is seen as an independent variable (variable influence) and politics as an independent variable (variable influence). With this assumption, Mahfud formulated the law as: 3 Legal policies that will be or have been implemented nationally by the government also include an understanding of how politics influences the law by looking at the configuration of forces behind the creation and enforcement of the law. Here the law is not only seen as articles that are imperative or mandatory, but must be seen as a sum system which in reality is not impossible, in fact it is not impossible which is very much determined by politics, both in the formulation of material and articles and in implementing them.
