A city is one of the areas heavily populated by people. In Indonesia, there are a total of 98 cities. A city is a complex area because it has various zones such as central zones, industrial zones, and suburban zones. Additionally, a city should also have green open spaces. Green open spaces can help minimize global warming and the greenhouse effect in urban areas. Moreover, cities often grapple with waste issues. Urban residents should develop good mental attitudes and habits, such as not littering. Cooperation between the government, which builds proper and appropriate urban planning by providing green areas, and the public's awareness to maintain city cleanliness by disposing of waste properly, is necessary.

Surabaya as the second-largest city in Indonesia, faces serious challenges in waste management with daily waste generation reaching 1,800.05 tons in 2023, exceeding the capacity of Benowo landfill of 1,400 tons per day. Responding to this excess of 300 tons of daily waste, the Environmental Agency (DLH) of Surabaya City initiated the Zero Waste Village program. This program aims to increase public awareness about environmental cleanliness and waste management, implemented through collaboration between DLH and students from UPN Veteran East Java. The methods used include waste banks, composters, takakura, and processing into ecoenzymes. The program stages include sampling determination, initial waste weighing, intensive socialization, and final weighing. The results are encouraging, with a significant reduction in waste generation to an average of 0.19 kg per day per person after socialization. This success demonstrates the program's effectiveness in changing community behavior and reducing waste volume, providing hope for more sustainable waste management in Surabaya and reducing the excessive burden on the Benowo landfill.

Health is a state of well-being, encompassing physical, mental, spiritual, and social aspects that enable individuals to live productively both socially and economically. Generally, in society, the understanding of clean living behaviors is still low due to a lack of information on the importance of clean living behaviors and the limited facilities that support them. Early introduction to clean living behaviors is crucial so that children become accustomed to practicing them. This community service activity is carried out to enhance the knowledge, awareness, willingness, and ability of the community, especially students of SD GMIT Bone, to engage in Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS) and to provide facilities that enhance awareness of clean and healthy living. One way to prevent health problems is by educating children on how to wash their hands with soap and the importance of personal hygiene. Hospitals as one of the health service providers cannot be separated from the lives of people who always want to maintain their health. Every hospital must maintain cleanliness because it is a place used as a health facility. Hospital is a type of health service business to the community which certainly produces a lot of waste including hazardous waste in its operational activities. Just like settlements, hospitals also produce a lot of waste and perhaps more. It is difficult to manage B3 waste on their own, so not a few hospitals use B3 waste management services to other parties who of course still have to have a permit from the relevant agency to be able to manage B3 waste. Third parties in managing hospital B3 waste still have responsibilities to the hospital. Government efforts in providing environmental protection and management, and preventing environmental pollution are by providing administrative sanctions, criminal sanctions, civil sanctions. With the sanctions given to people or parties who commit environmental pollution, it is hoped that it can provide a deterrent effect to be better and wiser in managing the waste from their activities in order to preserve the environment and free the environment from pollution.

This research aims to examine Hamka's views on neo-Sufism and understand how he views this phenomenon from a religious, social and intellectual perspective. Hamka, as one of the Islamic reformers in Indonesia, tried to harmonize the exoteric (natali) and esoteric (batini) aspects in his teachings. He offers a concept of Sufism that prioritizes cleanliness of the heart and seeks to synergize social and spiritual elements. This research uses a qualitative research design with a content analysis method. The data analyzed includes descriptions and opinions from books written by Hamka as well as discussions of thoughts written by them and others. Through this analysis, the researcher seeks to understand the complexity of the relationship between religious traditions and the challenges of modernity in Hamka's view of neo-Sufism. The results of the research show that Hamka criticizes certain aspects of neo-Sufism which he considers to be contrary to true Islamic teachings, such as mystical practices that have no basis in the Koran and Sunnah, as well as excessive emphasis on spiritual experiences without being based on solid religious knowledge. Hamka emphasized the importance of knowledge, education and spiritual guidance in achieving a correct understanding of Islam and the practice of Sufism in accordance with Islamic values. Hamka's views on neo-Sufism also reflect his concern about the social and cultural changes of his time. He offers active, dynamic and progressive Sufism as a solution to the spiritual crisis of modern humans. Hamka emphasized the need for stronger and more dynamic involvement in society, as well as maintaining a balance between worldly life and the afterlife. This research provides insight into the complexity of the relationship between religious traditions and the challenges of modernity within the framework of Hamka's thinking, as well as the importance of maintaining the integrity of Islamic teachings in facing the dynamics of changing times. The study of Hamka's views on neo-Sufism provides an important basis for understanding the religious and intellectual dynamics in contemporary Islam.

One indicator of inadequate environmental cleanliness is fly density; Higher fly densities correspond to higher fly populations in the area. Fly handling is necessary immediately because of the potential health risks associated with fly density. The aim of this study is to quantify the distance between the fly density in local homes and the slaughter chicken cages in Rajabasa Baru Village, Mataram Baru Subdistrict, East Lampung Regency. The study used a qualitative descriptive technique. The dwellings around the slaughter chicken coop are the subject of this study, which is being conducted in Rajabasa Baru Village, Mataram Baru Subdistrict, East Lampung Regency. Observation and documentation are the methods employed to gather data for this study. The results of the research found that the distance that had the highest density of flies was 150 meters with an average of 24 individuals, while at a distance of 450 meters there were only 28 individuals, then at a distance of 900 meters only 13 individuals. Fly density tends to decrease with increasing distance from the source, namely the chicken drum. The aim of this research is to determine students' awareness of the importance of disposing of rubbish in the right place, which is an important part of maintaining a clean campus environment. However, this lack of awareness often becomes a detrimental problem, reflecting a lack of understanding of the negative impacts of this behavior. Several factors that may influence this lack of awareness include a lack of environmental education, ignorance of environmental impacts, and a lack of enforcement of regulations related to waste management. The importance of improving student awareness in this regard cannot be overstated, considering their important role in maintaining the cleanliness and sustainability of the campus environment. Therefore, coordinated efforts are needed between educational institutions, local governments and the community to increase students' awareness of the importance of disposing of waste in the right place through education, social campaigns and consistent enforcement of rules. In this way, it is hoped that a clean, healthy and sustainable campus environment can be created for the entire academic community.
