This study aims to determine the relationship between family social support and the discipline of 4-5-year-old children at Pembina State Kindergarten. The study used a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational approach. A sample of 14 parents was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained through a five-level Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation test. The results showed that children's discipline was in the very high category at 93.5%, while family social support was also in the very high category at 94.9%. However, the correlation test showed an r value of –0.14, indicating a very weak and insignificant relationship between family social support and children's discipline. This finding indicates that, despite high family support, other factors such as role models and school habits likely have a greater influence on the development of children's discipline. This study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between families and educational institutions in supporting the development of discipline in early childhood.

The lack of awareness regarding the emotional impact of bullying remains a persistent issue in schools. It hinders students’ ability to build self-confidence, form healthy social relationships, and reach their full academic potential. In response to this concern, an anti-bullying training program was implemented at a junior high school (SMP Gembala Baik Pontianak). The program aimed to enhance students’ understanding of different forms of bullying and their consequences, while also promoting active participation in fostering a safe and supportive school environment. The training employed a multi-phase approach: material preparation, interactive presentations, group discussions, empathy-building exercises, and evaluation through questionnaires and behavioural observation. The results were notable: 98.91% of participants demonstrated improved understanding of bullying and its serious effects, while 73.11% reported increased confidence in reporting bullying incidents. Furthermore, 95.69% of students acknowledged that the training helped them appreciate the importance of embracing diversity and creating a safe environment. Additionally, 83.87% felt more motivated to show empathy toward their peers. These findings suggest that effective bullying prevention extends beyond information delivery—it must also engage students emotionally and instill a sense of personal responsibility. Similar programs are recommended to be held regularly with updated and contextually relevant materials.

Children at the elementary school level are in a phase of rapid growth, encompassing intellectual, physical, and social development. Within the age range of 6–12 years, children are expected to begin managing their own self-care, including maintaining daily personal hygiene. Personal hygiene refers to a set of self-care practices performed to maintain physical health and psychological well-being. Independence in personal hygiene can be defined as a child’s ability to carry out personal hygiene activities independently without reliance on others, related to both physical cleanliness and psychological comfort. This study aimed to describe the level of personal hygiene independence among school-age children at SD Negeri 1 Gianyar. The research employed a quantitative descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of 376 students from grades I to III, with a sample of 194 students selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The results showed that the majority of respondents demonstrated good independence in personal hygiene, with 186 children (95.9%) categorized as independent, while 8 children (4.1%) were categorized as moderately independent. Children’s independence tended to increase with age, and no significant differences were found between male and female students. K-Pop has developed into a key instrument of South Korean cultural diplomacy with global reach, including in Indonesia. Behind its success as a soft power tool, K-Pop harbors complex dynamics of gender representation, particularly regarding the position and role of women. This study aims to analyze women's representation and agency in South Korean cultural diplomacy through K-Pop in Indonesia during the 2022–2023 period. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-interpretive design, combining a poststructuralist feminist perspective and cultural diplomacy theory. Data were collected through a documentary study of K-Pop cultural products and in-depth interviews with K-Pop fans in Indonesia. The results show that women play a central role in K-Pop's global success, both as idols and as active fans. However, women's representation in K-Pop is still dominated by standardized beauty standards and images of femininity. On the other hand, women's agency emerges through fandom practices that allow female fans to actively interpret, critique, and negotiate the meaning of gender representation. This study also found that gender issues have not been explicitly integrated into South Korean cultural diplomacy policies. These findings confirm that cultural diplomacy through K-Pop is dynamic and involves active interaction between the country, industry, and the recipient society.

This study aims to examine the role of work engagement in life satisfaction among volunteers of the Involuntir community. Engagement in volunteer activities is often associated with subjective well-being; however, the dynamics of this relationship have not been fully understood, particularly in the context of young volunteers. This study employed a quantitative method with purposive sampling, involving 122 active Involuntir volunteers. The instruments used were the Utrecht Work engagement Scale (UWES-17) to measure work engagement and the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) to assess life satisfaction. Data analysis was conducted using Spearman’s rho correlation test and regression analysis due to non-normally distributed data. Descriptive analysis results indicated that volunteers’ work engagement levels were categorized as high, while life satisfaction levels were categorized as moderate. The results of the Spearman’s rho correlation test revealed a significant negative relationship between work engagement and life satisfaction (r = −0.522; p < 0.05). Furthermore, regression analysis showed that work engagement had a significant effect on life satisfaction with a negative coefficient direction (β = −0.072; p < 0.05), indicating that higher levels of work engagement were associated with lower levels of perceived life satisfaction. Additionally, the Mann–Whitney difference test results indicated no significant differences in either work engagement or life satisfaction based on gender. Overall, this study suggests that high levels of volunteer engagement need to be managed in a balanced manner, as excessive engagement may potentially reduce life satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of sustainable volunteer engagement management in supporting the subjective well-being of young volunteers

This study investigates the levels of asprosin and irisin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and diabetic nephropathy (DN), and evaluates their relationships with insulin resistance, glycemic control, and renal function. Additionally, it explores their diagnostic performance as potential non-invasive biomarkers for the early detection of DN using ROC curve analysis. A controlled prospective study was conducted involving 130 participants, categorized into healthy controls, T2DM patients, and T2DM with DN. Serum asprosin, irisin, and insulin levels were measured using ELISA, while biochemical and renal parameters such as fasting blood glucose, HbA1c, creatinine, urea, and eGFR were assessed using standard spectrophotometric techniques. ROC analysis was employed to assess the diagnostic accuracy of asprosin and irisin. Asprosin levels were significantly elevated, while irisin levels were markedly reduced in DN patients compared to T2DM and control groups (p < 0.001). Moreover, DN patients exhibited higher levels of fasting glucose, HbA1c, HOMA-IR, creatinine, and urea, with lower eGFR, indicating substantial renal dysfunction. ROC analysis revealed that asprosin had an AUC of 0.910 (95% CI: 0.839–0.981), with 90.0% sensitivity and 88.9% specificity at a cutoff value of 11.27 ng/mL. Irisin showed an AUC of 0.886 (95% CI: 0.812–0.960), with 95.0% sensitivity and 71.1% specificity at a 158.25 ng/mL cutoff. Asprosin and irisin are strongly associated with insulin resistance and renal impairment in patients with T2DM and DN. This study aims to assess the financial performance of the Sukoharjo Regency Government during the 2023-2024 period by employing cash flow statements as the primary analytical tool. Cash flow statements are considered essential as they provide a clear picture of liquidity conditions and the actual capacity of local governments to manage cash inflows and outflows. This research applies a descriptive quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from audited Budget Realization Reports and Cash Flow Statements. Financial performance is evaluated through revenue effectiveness ratios and expenditure efficiency ratios as key indicators of fiscal management. The results indicate that regional revenue realization consistently exceeded the established targets throughout the study period, placing revenue performance in the very effective category. This finding reflects the local government’s ability to maximize revenue potential during the post-pandemic economic recovery phase. However, the analysis of expenditure efficiency reveals that spending management has not yet reached an optimal level, as expenditure realization remained close to the allocated budget limits. These findings demonstrate that strong revenue performance does not necessarily correspond with efficient expenditure control. Consequently, local government financial performance should be evaluated comprehensively by integrating both revenue effectiveness and expenditure efficiency perspectives. This study contributes empirically to public sector accounting literature and offers practical insights for policymakers to strengthen budget control mechanisms and promote sustainable financial management at the regional level.

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the psychological journey of the character Rangga Raja in the novel 0 MDPL by Nurwina Sari. The main focus of the study is to identify the inner conflicts experienced by the protagonist as well as the dynamics of the personality structure consisting of the Id, Ego, and Superego that shape his psychological development throughout the storyline. This research employs a literary psychology approach using a qualitative descriptive method, conducted through a literature review and document analysis of the novel text as the primary data source. The findings indicate that Rangga Raja experiences complex emotional conflicts resulting from past trauma, experiences of loss, and failures in romantic relationships. These conditions are reflected through the tensions and interactions between the Id, Ego, and Superego within himself. The process toward the “zero point” (0 MDPL) is interpreted as a symbol of an identity crisis phase as well as a stage of self-reconstruction, in which the protagonist undergoes processes of reflection, self-acceptance, and openness to change. In addition, Rangga’s interactions with other characters, such as Andini, La Nina, and Nadia G. Sahara, play an important role in his psychological recovery and healing process. This study confirms that the novel 0 MDPL represents a profound reflection on human psychological dynamics, the search for identity, and the gradual process of inner healing.
