This aims to examine and analyze the implementation of the cash transfer assistance policy in efforts to alleviate poverty in Moodu Urban Village, Kota Timur Subdistrict, Gorontalo City. This research employed a qualitative method. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of the policy implementation has not yet been optimal due to several influencing factors: (1) policy standards and target groups have not been fully accurate; (2) available resources, both in terms of the number of implementing personnel and supporting infrastructure, remain very limited; (3) inter-organizational communication and activity reinforcement are less effective; (4) the characteristics of implementing agents reveal that some officers do not yet fully understand the procedures and mechanisms for distributing cash transfer assistance; (5) the economic, social, and political environment of the Moodu community, which is predominantly engaged in the informal sector, presents additional challenges in ensuring program effectiveness; and (6) the attitudes of implementers, in the absence of continuous guidance and periodic supervision, increase the potential for administrative errors and inaccurate distribution.

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are established to support the improvement of the local economy. One of the recurring challenges faced by BUMDes is capital availability, which is essential for business expansion and achieving shared objectives. This study aims to analyze the effect of cognitive bias on investment decisions through reward-based investment balance as a mediating variable. The study employed a sample of 165 BUMDes distributed across the Pati Residency, using a combination of purposive sampling and cluster sampling, where the selected BUMDes represented each district and involved investors from the local community or community groups. Data were collected from BUMDes located in five districts within the Pati Residency, and the analysis was conducted using SMART PLS. The results indicate that cognitive bias has a direct and significant effect on community investment decisions as well as on reward-based investment balance. Furthermore, reward-based investment balance was found to have a direct effect on investment decisions. The findings also confirm that reward-based investment balance mediates the relationship between cognitive bias and investment decisions.

The utilization of biopore infiltration holes has become one of the simple and effective innovations in environmental management and soil resource conservation, with great potential to support a healthy environment. This community service activity aims to enhance farmers' understanding of the use of biopore infiltration holes as an effort for soil and water conservation as well as sustainable organic waste management. The outreach was conducted on September 7, 2024, at the Kesambi Village Hall, Pucuk District, Lamongan Regency, targeting 12 members of the farmer group. The implementation method of the activity included preparation stages, conducting a pretest, delivering material along with interactive discussions, and concluding with a posttest as an evaluation of the participants' understanding improvement. The results of the activity indicate an increase in the average knowledge score of participants from 81.25 in the pretest to 97.92 in the posttest. This demonstrates that the socialization method applied was effective in enhancing farmers' understanding of the functions, production techniques, and benefits of biopores. This activity is expected to encourage the independent implementation of biopores by farmer groups, both at the household and agricultural levels, as part of environmentally friendly and sustainable land management practices.

This community service was carried out at the Sebesi Island Coconut Brown Sugar Artisans Group, South Lampung Regency, which faced the problem of low product competitiveness due to the use of conventional plastic packaging that was simple, unattractive, and environmentally unfriendly. This topic was chosen because it is relevant to the issue of the plastic waste crisis and the urgency of implementing a circular economy in island regions that are vulnerable to environmental pollution. The objective of this activity was to improve the hard and soft skills of partners through the innovation of environmentally friendly packaging designs based on local materials, while also increasing the economic value of coconut brown sugar products. The community service was carried out using a participatory approach through socialization, training, co-design of packaging, and assistance with production and marketing for 40 partners consisting of brown sugar craftsmen, BUMDes administrators, and local natural material weavers. The results of the activity showed an increase in the partners' skills in product design and packaging, strengthening of soft skills in the form of confidence and marketing readiness, as well as an increase in the selling value and image of the product in the local market. This activity confirms that environmentally friendly packaging innovation based on local resources is an effective strategy in empowering MSMEs as well as implementing a circular economy at the village level.

Umbilical cord infection remains one of the major causes of morbidity and mortality among newborns, particularly in areas where knowledge and health practices are still limited. Padellegan Village is one of the regions where some mothers continue to practice traditional cord care methods, such as using herbal mixtures or non-sterile materials, which increases the risk of omphalitis. Initial situation analysis indicates that 40–60% of postpartum mothers are not yet familiar with the principles of clean and dry cord care (dry cord care), and access to accurate health information is still limited. Based on this condition, education on umbilical cord care is essential to improve mothers’ and health cadres’ understanding and skills in preventing neonatal infections. This community service activity focuses on providing evidence-based education regarding safe cord care techniques, infection risk factors, and danger signs that need to be recognized. Padellegan Village was selected due to the high need for maternal–neonatal health education and the low level of community knowledge related to cord care. This activity is expected to bring positive changes, such as improved maternal behavior in performing proper cord care, reduced use of unhygienic traditional methods, and strengthened roles of health cadres in monitoring neonatal health. Enhancing appropriate cord care practices can reduce the risk of infection in newborns, thereby contributing to improving the overall health status of the community in Padellegan Village.

This PKM examines the transformation of traditional burial practices in Terusan Village, Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan, in light of 1 Timothy 6:7. The local community has a tradition of accompanying and placing all the personal belongings of the deceased on the grave as a form of respect and the belief that the deceased's spirit needs these items to prevent them from returning angry. This belief is reinforced by the community's past spiritual experiences, including the testimony of traditional leaders about dreams in which the deceased's spirit asks for their belongings. Using a theological and anthropological approach, this PKM assesses this tradition in relation to the biblical teaching that humans bring nothing into or out of the world. Using theories from theologians and anthropologists, this PKM formulates a dialogical, inculturative, and transformative spiritual development strategy, so that local culture can be guided without experiencing rejection. This PKM concludes that changes in burial practices must be carried out with a pastoral approach that emphasizes the value of spiritual wealth, the hope of resurrection, and an understanding of death in Christ. Thus, local traditions are not erased, but are guided toward new meanings that align with God's Word, leading the community from cultural heritage to genuine spiritual transformation.

Flood disasters that struck Cikahuripan Village significantly affected the physical, psychological, and learning motivation conditions of elementary school students, particularly at SD N 1 Cikahuripan. In the post-disaster period, students experienced a decline in learning motivation caused by psychological trauma, loss of a sense of security, and limited learning facilities. This Community Service Program (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PkM) aimed to restore students’ psychological conditions while strengthening their learning motivation through an integrated psychosocial and pedagogical approach. The implementation methods included an initial assessment of students’ conditions, trauma healing activities based on play therapy, and the application of Fun Learning methods combined with the “Tree of Dreams” activity to rebuild students’ intrinsic motivation. The program was conducted from 15 to 22 November 2025 and involved 31 elementary school students as well as teachers as sustainability partners. The evaluation results showed significant positive changes, indicated by increased cheerfulness, active participation, confidence in social interaction, and improved learning focus among students. In addition, teachers’ capacity to implement trauma-sensitive teaching practices also improved. This program demonstrates that post-disaster learning motivation recovery requires a holistic approach integrating psychological and academic recovery, and it has the potential to serve as a replicable model for educational interventions in disaster-prone areas.

The Digital Population Identity (IKD) constitutes a pivotal government innovation aimed at transforming public services, yet its widespread adoption is impeded by disparities in digital literacy and inherent technical constraints. This community engagement activity, integrated with a participatory internship scheme, concentrates on analyzing and supporting the innovation diffusion trajectory executed by the Population and Civil Registration Department (Disdukcapil) of Kendal City. The adopted methodology employs a Participatory Action approach, strategically combined with a mobile service paradigm (jemput bola) across three designated urban villages: Langenharjo, Kebondalem, and Karangsari. Core interventions involved intensive, interpersonal socialization sessions and customized technical support for account activation. The assessment findings robustly suggest that the "jemput bola" model effectively leveraged interpersonal communication channels, thereby mitigating public skepticism and substantially elevating community involvement in IKD activation. While persistent challenges related to network instability and device incompatibility were observed, this direct, hands-on approach is ascertained as fundamentally crucial for achieving effective and equitable digital transformation at the local level.

Digital transformation in education requires Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers to develop competencies in utilizing digital-based learning media. However, in rural ECE contexts, the use of technology remains limited due to the lack of contextual and sustainable training. This community service program aims to enhance the digital learning media competencies of teachers at PAUD Ath-Thoyyibah in Pangadegan Village through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The program was implemented through stages of community asset mapping, collaborative action planning, practice-based training, and post-training mentoring and reflection. The results indicate that ECE teachers were able to develop simple digital learning media based on images, videos, and audio tailored to early childhood characteristics. In addition to improving technical skills, the program increased teachers’ self-confidence and fostered collaborative networks within the educational community. These findings demonstrate that the ABCD approach is effective in strengthening ECE teacher capacity by emphasizing local asset utilization and active community participation. This program contributes to improving the quality of early childhood learning and strengthening adaptive educational communities in response to technological development.

Community service with the theme of Expired Date (ED) and Beyond Use Date (BUD) aims to improve knowledge and understanding of proper medication storage as an effort to enhance the health of the Gagak Sipat community. Knowledge about medication usage limits and checking product expiration dates educates the public to be more cautious and to avoid health risks that may arise from consuming products that have exceeded their usage period or have expired. The use of medicines beyond their ED and BUD indicates that the drugs may have experienced reduced stability related to storage conditions. Decreased stability of pharmaceutical preparations can affect their physical quality, which in turn impacts the effectiveness and safety of the medication. The educational method used in this program included lectures accompanied by the distribution of leaflets, followed by practical simulations on checking ED and calculating BUD for various dosage forms. The results of this educational activity showed that community members were able to determine the ED and BUD for several pharmaceutical preparations such as tablets, powders, capsules, syrups, eye drops, ear drops, and others. The community in Gagak Sipat village gained an understanding of the risks associated with using medications beyond the BUD, including reduced effectiveness, the risk of microbial contamination, and potentially harmful chemical reactions. It was emphasized that some medications that are expired or used beyond their BUD can pose more serious health risks, especially when used to treat severe diseases.

The acceleration of stunting reduction in Ponorogo Regency faces challenges regarding the complexity of the issue and regional fiscal constraints, necessitating strategic cross-sectoral collaboration. This study aims to evaluate the synergy of Bank BCA's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program through the "Bakti BCA" scheme in supporting local government policies related to specific and sensitive nutrition interventions. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with key informants from Bank BCA Ponorogo management, Bappeda, the Health Office, and beneficiary families, complemented by participatory observation and a review of the Regional Action Plan (RAD) documents. Data analysis was performed interactively by integrating the Collaborative Governance framework from Ansell and Gash, William N. Dunn's six policy evaluation criteria, and Mark Moore's Public Value concept to analyze the dynamics of cooperation and program performance achievements. The results indicate that the established synergy meets the criteria of appropriateness and effectiveness, where CSR interventions successfully bridged the gap in sanitation services and nutritional fulfillment in stunting locus villages uncovered by the regional budget (APBD). This collaboration proved successful in creating public value in the form of improved physical health status of toddlers, regional budget efficiency, and high community responsiveness. It can be concluded that this strategic partnership effectively accelerates the achievement of stunting reduction targets through equitable resource distribution. This study recommends that private sector engagement be formally integrated from the development planning deliberation (Musrenbang) stage to ensure long-term impact sustainability.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in driving local economic development, particularly in rural areas that rely on the utilization of local natural resources. However, many MSMEs still face challenges in marketing aspects, especially limited use of digital technology, weak branding, and unattractive product packaging. This community service activity aims to strengthen the marketing strategy of the “Nek Surati” cassava chips MSME located in Dolok Village, Nagori Boluk, Bosar Maligas District, Simalungun Regency. The methods employed include field observations, interviews with MSME actors, descriptive analysis of existing problems, and practice-based (hands-on) assistance through digital marketing training, improvement of packaging design, and strengthening of product branding. The results indicate an increase in the digital readiness of the MSME actor, as evidenced by the adoption of WhatsApp Business, the creation of digital product catalogs, and the utilization of social media as a promotional tool. In addition, improvements in packaging design and brand identity enhanced the visual appeal and product image in the eyes of consumers. This assistance activity had a positive impact on improving the marketing capacity of the MSME and opened opportunities for expanding market reach. With continuous assistance, the “Nek Surati” cassava chips MSME has the potential to increase its competitiveness and contribute more significantly to the local economy.
