This community service research was motivated by the significant challenges faced by Generation Z in maintaining a balance between physical and mental health and productivity in the digital age. The increasing prevalence of mental health disorders and declining discipline among adolescents are important indicators of the need for character building integrated with health education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to describe in depth the process of implementing health and productivity values through observation, interviews, and documentation of activities at school. The results show that interactive education approaches are effective in increasing students' awareness of healthy lifestyles, time management, and personal responsibility. Activities such as thematic education, congregational prayers, and reflective classes serve as a platform for building productive character that emphasizes balance between spiritual, social, and academic aspects. Students showed positive changes in behavior, such as increased regularity in studying, awareness of maintaining cleanliness, and the ability to manage stress and time more effectively. In conclusion, character building based on health and productivity values has a significant impact on shaping a resilient, disciplined, and competitive young generation, and can be used as a model for character education development in Indonesian vocational schools.

This research is motivated by the low quality of learning in various educational units, one of the causes of which is the gap between curriculum design and classroom implementation. A good curriculum will not have a significant impact without effective implementation by teachers. Therefore, curriculum implementation plays a strategic role as a link between macro-level education policies and classroom learning practices. This study aims to analyze the impact of curriculum implementation on learning quality, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and formulate strategies to strengthen learning quality. The method used is descriptive qualitative, using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques with teachers, principals, and elementary school students. The results show that the implementation of a flexible curriculum, such as the Independent Curriculum, encourages a shift from teacher-centered to student-centered learning, which increases student motivation and engagement through project-based learning and authentic assessment. However, teacher preparedness, limited infrastructure, and administrative burdens remain major obstacles. Authentic assessment has been shown to improve students' critical thinking skills and creativity, but requires consistent managerial support. The implication is that improving the quality of learning must be accompanied by strengthening teacher competency, the availability of resources, and adaptive school management so that curriculum transformation has a real impact on the quality of national education

The Merdeka Curriculum policy, initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), marks a significant paradigm shift in the Indonesian educational landscape. This curriculum emphasizes student-centered learning, flexibility, and the development of competencies according to students' interests and talents. This study aims to critically analyze the relevance of the philosophy of progressivism, pioneered by John Dewey, as a conceptual foundation for the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Using a systematic literature review method on 15 Sinta indexed scientific journals (minimum Sinta 4) published between 2018-2024, this study examines the alignment between the core principles of progressivism such as experience as the basis of learning (learning by doing), the teacher's role as a facilitator, problem-solving, and democratic education and the essence of the Merdeka Curriculum policy. The analysis reveals a strong alignment between the two concepts. Project-based learning, content differentiation, and formative assessment within the Merdeka Curriculum are concrete manifestations of progressive ideas. However, this study also identifies implementation challenges, such as teacher readiness, school culture transformation, and resource availability, which can hinder the internalization of this philosophy at the practical level. It is concluded that a deep understanding of the philosophy of progressivism by stakeholders, especially educational managers and teachers, is crucial to ensure that the Merdeka Curriculum becomes not just an administrative change, but also a substantive and sustainable pedagogical transformation.

The ability to write scientific papers is an essential competency for students in supporting academic achievement and readiness to face the world of work and research. However, many students still experience difficulties in compiling scientific papers, especially in the aspects of writing systematics, the use of academic language, and reference management. In response to this problem, the service team carried out a Scientific Writing Preparation Training for PASIM National University students as a form of implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the aspect of community service. The training method uses an andragogy approach through interactive lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice. The activity was attended by around 50 students across study programs. The training material includes an introduction to scientific papers, writing rules, topic determination techniques, reference search and management, and outline preparation. Evaluation was carried out through observation, assessment of written products, and satisfaction questionnaires. The results showed an increase in participants' understanding by 30–40% based on the comparison of pre-test and post-test. All participants succeeded in compiling an outline of scientific papers, and the majority expressed satisfaction with the training. This activity has proven to be effective in improving students' scientific writing skills and fostering academic motivation and culture. It is recommended that similar training be carried out on an ongoing basis with intensive mentoring to support the improvement of the quality of human resources and contribution to student scientific publications.

The growing demand for integrated Islamic schools to deliver high-quality education that emphasizes both academic excellence and character development has encouraged the adoption of Total Quality Management (TQM) as a modern and relevant management approach. TQM is considered appropriate because it highlights continuous improvement, active involvement of all school members, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction within the educational context. This study aims to analyze the implementation of TQM in improving school quality at three integrated Islamic junior high schools: SMP IT Al-Khoiriyyah, SMP IT Nurul Islam, and SMP IT Baitul Anshor. The research employed a qualitative method using a multi-case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis involving principals, vice principals, teachers, educational staff, students, and parents. Data analysis followed the stages of reduction, presentation, and inductive conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that TQM implementation in all three schools followed four main stages: planning, organizing, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. During planning, TQM principles were embedded in School Work Plans, the PDCA cycle was applied, and stakeholders were actively involved. Organizing focused on quality-based structures, clear task distribution, and teamwork. Implementation included quality-oriented learning, teacher development, extracurricular activities, and integrated Islamic programs, while monitoring involved supervision, internal audits, evaluation meetings, and feedback systems. Supporting factors included visionary leadership, Islamic work culture, and parental support, while challenges involved limited facilities, uneven teacher competencies, and heavy workloads.
