The purpose of this study is to understand Romans 12:-2 from a hermeneutic point of view, especially in relation to the concept of "renewal of the mind" as the key to spiritual transformation in the Christian life. Paul emphasizes the importance of a profound inner change in order to be in harmony with God's will, which is not only a change in behavior, but also a change in mindset influenced by God's Word. Paul's letter to the church in Rome, written to the church in Rome, teaches about salvation through faith and the relationship between the Law and faith in Christ. In Romans 12:2, Paul exhorts believers not to follow worldly values, but to have experiences that renew their minds so that they understand God's will. This hermeneutic interpretation suggests that the renewal of the mind leads believers to live differently from the norms of the world, which affects all aspects of daily life, including relationships with others. important. Based on James 1:2-3, this paper explores Christian expectations and the role of perseverance in shaping spiritual character. The background of this study arises from the importance of understanding perseverance as a response to trials faced by individuals of faith. The purpose of this study is to investigate how perseverance in faith is formed and developed through challenges, as well as its impact on Christian hope. This research used a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data was collected from library sources, including books of biblical interpretation and relevant theological articles. The results showed that perseverance is not just a passive attitude but an active process that deepens faith and hope. The discussion focused on the role of trials as a tool used by God to strengthen the faith of believers, as described in James 1:2-3. Trials are seen as a way to sharpen perseverance, which then leads to spiritual maturity and strong hope. This study affirms the importance of seeing trials as an essential part of the Christian faith journey that ends in eternal hope.

Character formation of children in Christian religious education faces new challenges in the digital era. This journal discusses the challenges and solutions in character formation of children in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review (library research). The results of the study indicate that there are challenges that must be faced when education is faced with the era of technology that is increasingly developing rapidly. However, if the use of technology is wise, parental supervision, and effective religious education can help shape strong children's characters and this is a very good solution to help the development of students, especially in the scope of Christian Religious Education.

The code of ethics serves as a guideline for educators in carrying out their professional duties, especially in Christian Religious Education (PAK). This study aims to explore the role of the code of ethics in improving the quality of PAK learning. Using a qualitative approach, this study utilized literature studies, observations, and interviews with PAK teachers at the secondary school level. The findings indicate that consistent application of the code of ethics helps create a conducive learning environment, while deepening students' understanding of Christian values. By adhering to the code of ethics, teachers can act professionally, fairly, and with integrity, thereby increasing trust between teachers and students. In addition, the code of ethics is an important guide in overcoming learning challenges, such as the diversity of student backgrounds and curriculum changes. This study concludes that the code of ethics has an important role in improving the quality of PAK learning through strengthening teacher character and creating an inclusive learning atmosphere.

Christian Religious Education (PAK) has a very important role in building students' moral values, especially in the context of education in Indonesia which is implemented based on the Independent Curriculum. This research aims to examine how the Christian Religious Education Curriculum contributes to the formation of students' moral values. This literature review explores various literature that discusses the basic concepts and principles of PAK as well as the implementation of this curriculum in moral education. Based on literature analysis, it can be concluded that the Independent Curriculum provides space for deepening moral values through a more flexible and contextual approach. In this curriculum, teachers are expected not only to convey religious teaching material but also to instill Christian values which include love, justice, forgiveness and social responsibility to students. Project-based learning, reflection, and collaboration in the classroom are some of the main strategies proposed to build student character according to the teachings of the Bible. Thus, PAK through the Merdeka Curriculum plays a significant role in forming students' moral character of quality and noble character.    

The purpose of conducting research on the implementation of the PAK independent curriculum is to find out the problems in its implementation, teachers are the main implementers of this curriculum in the field. By understanding their perspectives and experiences, we can find the problems they face and what is needed for the successful implementation of the curriculum. The research method used is to use a qualitative method with a literature review approach, namely looking for sources that are considered relevant to be used as sources for writing. Based on the results obtained, there are several difficulties or problems in its implementation, for example one of them is the reduction in human resources in this case, namely educators, and other things. The Merdeka Belajar curriculum focuses on important material, is flexible for teachers and students, and is project and character-based. By increasing teacher understanding, increasing resources, increasing parental participation, and developing a more contextual curriculum, it is hoped that the quality of religious education can be improved.

Christian Religious Education (CRE) in Indonesia plays a crucial role in shaping the character and morality of students. Considering the cultural and religious diversity in Indonesia, Christian religious education needs to be delivered with a multicultural perspective that emphasizes values of tolerance and respect for differences. This article aims to explore the implementation of Christian religious education in schools within the context of multiculturalism, and how this can help strengthen attitudes of tolerance and interfaith harmony. This study also discusses the challenges in implementing multicultural-based Christian religious education and how practical solutions can be applied.

The aim of this research is to explore the role of parents in shaping the religious character of children through Christian Religious Education in the city. The type of research conducted is field research with a qualitative research model. The data sources used in this study include both primary and secondary data. The data collection methods employed are Observation, Interview, and Documentation. Data analysis is carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings indicate that parents play a crucial role in shaping the religious character of their children through several approaches. These include educating through behavioral examples, implementing an early education system, establishing a system of habituation, fostering a culture of dialogue between parents and children, and applying principles of justice in managing available time. Behavioral examples provided by parents have proven to be highly effective in guiding children to become useful individuals. For these behaviors to be truly effective, they must be supported by consistent policies applied across all aspects of daily life.

In the article titled "Mandok Hata on New Year's Eve: Reflecting on the Meaning of Forgiveness in Batak Culture and Christian Teachings (Colossians 3:13)", the author uses a qualitative approach through the analysis of literature related to Mandok Hata and forgiveness. The Mandok Hata ritual on New Year’s Eve reflects spiritual and social values, where the Batak Toba community apologizes to each other, strengthens family ties, and creates an atmosphere of reconciliation. The author asserts that forgiveness in Christian teaching, as an unconditional gift of God, is internalized in this practice. This article shows that forgiveness and Mandok Hata are complementary, encouraging social and spiritual harmony, as well as starting the new year with a clean and loving heart.

This study aims to examine the relevance of the teachings in the parable for Christians in the postmodern era. In the postmodern era, where relativism, pluralism, and skepticism towards absolute truth are increasingly growing, the parable of the sower provides an illustration of how the word of God is spread and received in various situations. Just as the sower sows seeds into various types of soil (roadside soil, rocky soil, thorny soil, and fertile soil), so too Christians are faced with varying conditions of heart and mind in receiving the message of the gospel. This study identifies the challenges faced by the church, such as the influence of social media, individualism, and relativism, which can affect the way the word of God is received by postmodern society. Through a theological approach to Mark 4:1-20, this study offers a perspective on how Christians can act as faithful sowers, seeking to sow the seeds of the word with patience, and seeking to respond to various social and cultural conditions that exist wisely. Thus, the implementation of the parable of the sower in the context of the postmodern era not only invites people to actively spread the gospel, but also to understand the various challenges and heart situations that can affect the reception of the word.

Entrepreneurship is one of the main pillars of economic development in modern societies. However, the practice of entrepreneurship often faces complex ethical and moral challenges amidst the dynamics of globalization. This article aims to explore how the values of Christian religious education can provide a spiritual and ethical foundation in addressing these challenges. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research examines a range of relevant academic literature, including articles and books, to illustrate the potential integration between Christian religious education and entrepreneurial spirit development. The results show that values such as integrity, justice, responsibility and love can serve as moral guidelines for Christian entrepreneurs to face modern challenges without losing the essence of their faith. Christian religious education plays a role not only in shaping individual character, but also in creating entrepreneurs who have the vision to bring positive social impact. The findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in education that integrates spiritual values and entrepreneurial practices to create a more equitable and sustainable society. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a Christian values-based entrepreneurship education model, as well as a solution to the moral challenges in entrepreneurship in the modern era.

This article traces the evolution of Christian religious education from the past to the present, and projects its challenges and opportunities for the future. Through historical analysis, the article reveals how Christian religious education has adapted to the context of the times and current trends, including the influence of technology and globalization. The article also discusses the challenges faced, such as religious pluralism and changing moral values, and highlights the importance of adaptation and innovation so that Christian religious education remains relevant and effective in forming a generation of young people who are faithful and have noble character.

This research aims to analyze curriculum design and planning for the development of Christian Religious Education at HKBP pearaja Tarutung using the Bobbitt and Charters curriculum approach. Through a qualitative approach and case studies, this research explores the application of curriculum theories in the church context, as well as the strategies used by churches to respond to religious education needs that are relevant to current developments and the social conditions of the congregation. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, observation of religious education activities, and analysis of implemented curriculum documentation. The research results show that HKBP pearaja Tarutung implements a curriculum based on the needs of the congregation with an approach that prioritizes the active involvement of the congregation in the planning and implementation process. Apart from that, the church also focuses on developing educators with regular training and the use of technology to support the learning process. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of the Christian Religious Education curriculum in other churches and enrich the discourse on Christian religious education in a more contextual and relevant way.

Christian Religious Education (PAK) in the digital era faces great challenges as well as opportunities to develop through learning innovation. With a theological foundation such as Ephesians 2:10, this education does not only aim to develop cognitive aspects, but also to shape character oriented towards personal and spiritual transformation. PAK teachers are required to be inspirers who integrate faith values with innovative learning approaches, such as the utilisation of digital technology, the development of student-based learning models, and the application of creative methods, such as gamification and blended learning.However, this digital transformation is not without obstacles. In Palu City, geographical challenges, technological limitations, and diverse student backgrounds are important issues that need to be addressed. By implementing strategies such as teacher training, collaboration with churches, and contextualised curriculum development, PAK can adapt and be relevant to the times. This research uses a literature review to explore the concept and implementation of innovations in PAK, including improving teachers' skills in technology, learning management, and communication. The results show that a constructivism-based approach, which emphasises hands-on experience and active learning, can improve learning effectiveness. The synergy between technology, faith and local context is the key to the success of Christian education that is able to produce a generation with character and competence to face the digital era..    

This community service program aims to improve mental health for individuals with mental disorders (ODGJ) through a Christian counseling approach at Panti Gerasa Kerawang. The activities are carried out by providing individual and group counseling sessions that integrate the principles of love, forgiveness, and healing from Christian teachings. Additionally, training is provided for the panti staff to strengthen their skills in supporting ODGJ with empathy and in alignment with spiritual values. The expected outcomes are an improvement in the quality of life of the panti residents through activities such as: 1) Joint Worship, 2) Group Games and Coloring, 3) Implementation of Counseling Sessions, and 4) Teaching and Counseling Training for Panti Staff. The conclusion of this program is expected to enhance the mental resilience of the residents and help them overcome the psychological challenges they face. Panti staff are also involved in training to strengthen their ability to conduct faith-based counseling approaches. At the end of the program, it is hoped that the residents will experience significant improvements in mental health and be better prepared to lead a more fulfilling life.

Christian religious education has a long history rooted in the teachings of Christ. In its development, this education does not only focus on theological doctrine, but also includes social and cultural norms that are relevant to the times. This article discusses the transformation of Christian religious education from traditional dogmatic methods to a more inclusive, interactive, and contextual approach along with the influence of globalization and technological advances. Significant changes have occurred in the curriculum which now integrates contemporary topics such as ethics and interfaith dialogue. More participatory teaching methods and the use of digital media are also described as responses to modern challenges such as secularism and individualism. This article also highlights the important role of Christian religious education institutions, such as churches, Christian schools, seminaries, and the media, in maintaining the relevance of Christian teachings. Amid global challenges, innovation in Christian religious education is considered crucial to remain relevant and effective in shaping the faith and character of Christians in the future.

The digital era requires Christian education to focus not only on spiritual character formation but also on developing essential life skills and entrepreneurial abilities. These skills enable young generations to adapt to global changes and become independent individuals. This research highlights the urgency of designing a holistic Christian education model that aligns with contemporary challenges. Using qualitative methods based on document and literature analysis, this study identifies strategies to optimize Christian education by integrating life skills and entrepreneurship, fostering independence and adaptability among Christian youth. The integrative approach—combining spirituality, life skills, and entrepreneurship in a digital context—is the novelty of this research. The findings suggest that Christian education emphasizing both practical and spiritual competencies can prepare individuals to face workforce challenges while maintaining spiritual integrity. This holistic conclusion emphasizes the synergy between moral education and practical skills as a response to the needs of the digital era.

With the internet and digital devices, it is possible to carry out various activities, for example pastoral activities such as online fellowhsip. Online fellowship is increasingly developing following technological advances. Online fellowship began to be widely carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of this research is to find out more about online fellowship, its comparison with on-site fellowship and the opinions of Christians regarding online fellowship. The results of this research can be used to answer the dilemma of Christians who practice online fellowship.

The word mission is derived from Misio Dei, meaning that the Triune God plays a role in it, God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Understanding the role of the Triune God in Misio Dei will help a strong mission movement in the church. The church is the channel of God's mission to proclaim the good news that the Kingdom of God has come. The church is responsible for carrying out God's mission so that the mission movement remains sustainable. The younger generation is the only successor to the mission movement in the church, therefore it is necessary to discover the obstacles in the mission movement in the younger generation so that the church continues carrying on the mission. JKI Injil Kerajaan Church is one of the churches whose mission is to build a generation of disciple leaders who are pleasing to God and impact others. The younger generation at the JKI IK Church has not become missionaries since 2020. The factor that influenced the decline in missionaries at the JKI IK Church was the existence of an identity crisis. This self-identity crisis can be addressed by strengthening the relationship with the Holy Spirit. In addition, we must learn from the expansion of the early church where the supporting factors for the expansion of the early church were the renewing power of the Gospel, fruitful and reaping evangelistic motivation, context-appropriate service variations, conducive geo-political factors and recruiting workers for the expansion of church missions.

The spiritual curriculum must be structured as well as possible so that it can fulfill every need that students need to support their spiritual growth so that students can grow more mature in accordance with biblical teachings.The purpose of this research is to find out whether the implementation of the spiritual curriculum applied in class devotion, level devotion, and YouthinC2 affects the spiritual / character growth of students at SMK Kristen Terang Bangsa so that it can find the right implementation for the right curriculum that can be applied, it is hoped that there will be adjustments to the implementation of the spiritual curriculum at SMK Kristen Terang Bangsa. The population in this study were students of SMK Kristen Terang Bangsa in grades XI, XII, and alumni along with class pastors and teachers for the 2023-2024 school year and the 2024-2025 school year. Implementing the spiritual curriculum applied in class devotion, level devotion, and YouthinC2 has a positive effect on the spiritual growth/ character of Terang Bangsa school students.
