The Slawi city ring road is a road that connects several villages in the Tegal district, especially the Pangkah and Slawi sub-districts. This road is often passed by heavy vehicles such as trucks and other cars carrying goods, many motorized vehicles also pass on this road, especially students. With the volume of vehicles that are quite dense at certain hours and with minimal maintenance on road conditions, this causes a decrease in the quality of the road surface. With these problems, it is necessary to analyze the condition of road damage at STA 0+000 to STA 1+720. This study aims to determine the type and level of road damage using the Bina Marga 1990 method, determine the percentage value of each damage and calculate the priority order of the road as a reference for determining the repair program for the road. Data collection using the LHR survey is also needed to determine road condition values. Factors that cause road damage are the lack of routine maintenance on the road and the absence of drainage so that a lot of water stagnates during the rainy season which causes road damage to become more severe. The types of damage found on the Slawi City ring road are pothole damage, grain release, fatness and crocodile skin cracks.

Flooding is a problem that still requires special attention from a number of parties, including the community and the government. Flooding is not a light matter. Flooding can occur due to rising water levels due to above-average rainfall, temperature changes, levees or dams bursting, or obstruction of water flow elsewhere. The lack of community management and preparedness for disasters is one of the causes of the high impact of post-disaster damage or loss, so disaster mitigation is needed as an effort to reduce disaster risk. The research aims to analyze public knowledge about flood mitigation and preparedness. This study used qualitative research methods with the sampling technique used was simple random sampling. It was found that among several questions in the interview that the author asked about flood management knowledge and preparedness in flood disaster mitigation, all informants responded and acted very well. From the research conducted, all informants expect attention from the government to make improvements to the drainage system again and make new drainage. And the author hopes that the arrangement of residential areas on the banks of the river will be carried out to overcome floods that often hit the Kampung Baru area, Medan Maimun District.

Lean is a concept and technique for systems that optimizes patient benefit by decreasing waste and waiting time. The literature review approach is used in this study to acquire research data, with internet searches serving as a supplementary tool while looking for relevant papers. According to the study findings, mean hospital length of stay (LOS) fell by 24% throughout the intervention period in 259 patients with PMV (131 pre-intervention; 128 post-intervention) (29 vs. 22 days, p 0.001). This demonstrates that clinical redesign based on Lean Six Sigma decreases LOS in intensive care units. Other studies show that utilizing Lean Six Sigma has resulted in a 57% reduction in length of stay and an 88% reduction in the identification of non-value added tasks. Lean management in hospitals is a step toward greater service efficiency that has been shown to outperform Total Quality Management (TQM) and Plan, Do, Check, Action (PDCA) improvements. Customers and their families gain from shorter wait times, as do healthcare employees (medical, emergency, and non-medical) and hospital administration. The use of the lean six sigma approach in conjunction with the DMAIC cycle effects LOS reduction, indicating that lean six sigma can reduce LOS in hospitals.
