The assessment of computer literacy reveals varying competencies, urging the need for a tailored curriculum. While basics like office software and digital navigation are strong, disparities in data analysis proficiency call for targeted interventions. The implications highlight the necessity for a stratified curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive skill set in line with modern maritime demands. Cadets overwhelmingly endorse technology's role in enhancing education, signalling a paradigm shift. Positive attitudes towards online resources, digital simulations, and e-learning platforms advocate for an institutional embrace of cutting-edge tools. Recommendations focus on faculty development and increased technology integration, promising an enriched pedagogical landscape. The exploration of sociocultural influences uncovers a delicate balance between tradition and the necessity of English proficiency. Nuanced strategies are essential to integrate diverse cultural backgrounds. Recommendations call for cultural awareness initiatives and language support programs, aligning the institution with the global orientation of maritime education. In qualitative insights, cadets express a collective desire for a more intentional curriculum, particularly in incorporating cultural perspectives. This aligns with the broader scholarly discourse advocating for holistic education. Proposed avenues include workshops, seminars, and collaborations with cultural experts, providing a roadmap for curriculum development congruent with the diverse needs of Semester 1 cadets. This research, rooted in rigorous academic inquiry, serves as a guide for the Maritime Institute, steering its trajectory towards producing technologically adept professionals who are equally culturally astute, ready to navigate the complex global maritime landscape.

This research explores Efforts to increase Braille literacy and daily living skills in blind children through an inclusive education approach. By collaborating with special education institutions, we design innovative learning methods to strengthen Braille literacy understanding and increase the independence of blind children in daily activities. The research results show that this approach has succeeded in having a positive impact on the holistic development of blind children, enabling them to be more active and independent in society.

This article conducts an in-depth analysis of the significant influence of social networks on social interactions in the digital era. Social networks facilitate the exchange of information, collaboration, and getting to know each other in various forms, ranging from text to visual and audiovisual content. In this context, there are two key elements in social interactions: social contact and communication. The Uses and Gratifications theory highlight the active role of social media users in choosing and utilizing these platforms to fulfill their needs for entertainment, information, personal identity, and social integration. Despite the convenience they offer, the use of social networks also presents significant challenges, such as privacy issues and social media addiction. It is crucial for individuals to develop a healthy self-awareness regarding their social media usage. Additionally, technology companies and policymakers must prioritize protecting users' privacy and creating an online environment that is healthy, safe, and inclusive for everyone. This analysis not only discusses negative impacts such as privacy and data security but also demonstrates the potential of social networks as powerful tools for building bridges between cultures, ideas, and people worldwide. Therefore, collaboration between society, governments, and corporations is essential in creating a positive and healthy online environment for all users.

By exploring international cooperation between Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia in the use of local currency through the Local Currency Settlement (LCS) framework, this research details the deeper context regarding concerns regarding dependence on the US Dollar after the 2016-2017 financial crisis. with an emphasis on the development of the use of local currencies after the Asian crisis of 1997-1998. This research reveals that one of the main criteria for establishing an optimal currency area (OCA) is exchange rate stability. In looking at the research results, a positive evolution of the use of local currencies in post-crisis ASEAN cooperation is illustrated, especially through the LCS initiative involving Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. Although LCS implementation trends show positivity, further improvement is identified as an urgent need to bring it in line with total trade between countries. Hope lies in the LCS collaboration which is expected to strengthen currency stability, spur economic growth and increase trade activity in the region. Thus, this research provides valuable insight into the urgency of regional cooperation in managing dependence on global currencies, especially the US Dollar.

This study presents a comprehensive review to explore technology's multifaceted role in fostering cultural competence within multicultural education. The primary objective of this study is to address three fundamental research questions: 1) How does the integration of technology enhance cultural competence in multicultural education settings? 2) What challenges and opportunities are associated with utilizing technology to promote cultural competence in diverse educational settings? 3) How can innovative technological approaches be tailored to address specific cultural competencies in education? Adopting a library research approach, an extensive exploration of academic databases and scholarly sources was conducted to gather literature pertinent to the research questions. The descriptive analysis method was employed to synthesize and analyze the collected information, identifying key themes, differences, similarities, and weaknesses among the diverse sources. The findings from this comprehensive review revealed several significant insights. Technology integration was observed to offer opportunities such as personalized learning experiences through AI-driven tools, immersive cultural experiences via Virtual Reality (VR), and global connectivity fostering cross-cultural collaboration. However, challenges like the digital divide, biases in technological tools, language barriers, ethical concerns regarding data privacy, and pedagogical integration shortcomings were highlighted. Moreover, the study underscores the potential of adaptive technologies, multimodal resources, culturally tailored digital content, and aligning technological interventions with culturally responsive pedagogy to address specific cultural competencies. The recommendations emphasize the need for teacher training, inclusive design, curation of diverse and authentic digital content, interdisciplinary collaborations, and ongoing assessment for optimizing technology's role in promoting cultural competence within multicultural education.

As the times evolve and consumption rates increase, waste management has become one of the primary challenges faced by communities, particularly in the Rw 02 Gunungsari Surabaya area. In an effort to address the negative impacts of production and waste disposal, the city government, especially the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Surabaya, has initiated the MBKM KZW ( Zero Waste Village ) as an innovative and sustainable solution. Zero Waste is not just a slogan, it is a lifestyle that teaches us to change consumption paradigms and appreciate natural resource. One of the main pillars of the Zero Waste movement is waste reduction. This involves awareness of the sources of waste around us and concrete steps to minimize it. From reducing the use of single-use plastics to choosing products with eco-friendly packaging, every small action has positive impact on the environment. The key to the success of the KZW program is collaboration and active involvement of various stakeholders. This is includes the Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Surabaya, the community of Rw 02 Gunungsari Surabaya, and students from the Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya, working together to reduce waste. Innovation in waste management needs to be encouraged. Adopting a Zero Waste lifestyle is not an easy task, but with awareness, education, and sustainable actions, we can collectively create positive change towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. Zero Waste is not just about minimizing waste, it is also about maximizing our potential to live in harmony with nature.

This research investigates the phenomenon of juvenile brawls with a focus on analyzing trigger factors and developing effective intervention approaches. Involving field research and psychological analysis, this research identifies that interpersonal conflict in the context of schools and urban communities plays a crucial role in triggering brawls. Factors such as economic strain, academic pressure, and lack of interpersonal understanding among teenagers stand out as major triggers. Apart from that, the influence of pop culture and the social environment also contributes significantly to the increase in brawl incidents. This research presents recommendations for developing preventive programs that involve collaboration between schools, families and communities. A holistic intervention approach, including psychological and social aspects, was identified as key to reducing and preventing youth brawls. It is hoped that this research can provide valuable insights for practitioners, researchers and policy makers in creating a safe and supportive environment for adolescent development.

This research uses a literature review approach to investigate the role of Karang Taruna in preserving local culture and values ​​in Balonggabus Village.  Through analysis of the latest findings, this research examines how Karang Taruna collaborates with the government and society to maintain cultural identity in the era of globalization.  Literature findings illustrate joint efforts in preserving traditions, encouraging local entrepreneurship, and creating a balance between modernity and local values.  The results of this research provide in-depth insight into the contribution of Karang Taruna as an agent for preserving cultural heritage, as well as how this collaboration creates a village that is dynamic and open to developments over time.  This study provides a theoretical basis for understanding the role of Karang Taruna in facing the challenges of globalization while maintaining local wisdom.

This research delves into the dynamics of motor vehicle tax compliance through a qualitative approach, exploring taxpayers' perceptions and attitudes. The identified key factors shaping attitudes toward tax obligations include regulatory complexity, clarity of rules, and personal experiences. Elements such as fairness perception, trust in the taxation system, and supervisory effectiveness also play crucial roles in forming compliance attitudes. These factors, integrated with psychological aspects, provide an in-depth understanding of taxpayer compliance behavior. While acknowledging challenges like regulatory complexity and economic inequality, the study highlights opportunities, including the application of information technology, fiscal incentive development, and cross-sector collaboration, as strategies to enhance compliance. In conclusion, a holistic and adaptive tax policy strategy, considering both local and global contexts, can foster a transparent, fair, and supportive tax environment for sustainable development.

This research aims to analyze efforts and strategies in establishing inter-church harmony in society during the current pandemic. The current pandemic creates new challenges in maintaining interfaith relations and strengthening tolerance in communities. In this context, churches from various denominations are faced with the need to increase collaboration and mutual understanding. This research uses a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews with church leaders and community members who are actively involved in efforts to establish harmony. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify key patterns in practices that support inter-church harmony. This research makes an important contribution to the understanding of how churches can work together to create harmony in difficult times such as the current pandemic. The practical implications of this research can be a guide for church and community leaders in building harmonious relationships amidst the challenges they face together. The research results show that there are several key factors that support the success of efforts to establish church harmony today. Among these are regular inter-religious dialogue, joint social activities, and an inclusive approach in understanding differences in beliefs.

It focuses on their contributions to fostering tolerance, dispelling religious stereotypes, and promoting mutual understanding. Challenges involve the complexity of belief diversity, including a lack of understanding and differences in the interpretation of religious values. However, amid these challenges, there are opportunities to build a stronger foundation of diversity. The method employed is the exploration of books and journals as primary references. The main results indicate that religious figures play roles as spiritual leaders, conflict mediators, and advocates of moral values. Challenges are addressed through dialogue, understanding, and collaboration among religious communities. Strategies and initiatives of religious figures involve concrete steps such as organizing dialogues and social activities. Interreligious collaboration is described as a collective effort for tolerance and cooperation. Case studies illustrate how religious figures can create harmony through dialogue, mediation, and inclusion. The aim of this research is to find out how parental involvement influences the provision of guidance and counseling consultation services. Family is the first and most important social environment for a child. Parental guidance, love, and supervision can contribute to the development of children's self-confidence and academic success. To deal with children's problems effectively, counselors, educators and parents must work synergistically. An additional strategy to encourage this collaboration is to offer parent consultation services. This can help parents strengthen their bonds with their children, offer wise guidance, and realize the impact of love on family growth. To increase collaboration between counselors, educators and parents in dealing with children's problems, it can be concluded that parent consultation services are an important strategy.

Employing a qualitative method and document analysis, the study explores the implementation of sustainable tourism principles amidst technological evolution. UNWTO is identified as a key catalyst in driving the adoption of cutting-edge technology in the tourism sector, enhancing tourism security, and improving industry skills. The research findings indicate that collaboration with UNWTO can have a positive impact on advancing tourism in Makassar, particularly in introducing innovative technologies and enhancing service quality. This study provides a profound understanding for stakeholders regarding sustainable tourism development strategies, positioning Makassar as a prominent destination. The implications of these research findings stimulate further considerations, including strengthening collaboration with UNWTO, continuously improving tourism infrastructure, and intensifying industry training to ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of this destination on the global stage.

This research aims to analyze the implications of business law on business ethics practices in Indonesia. The research method used is library research, where data is collected from various literature sources that are relevant to the research topic. The research results show that business law has an important role in shaping business ethical practices in Indonesia. Business law regulates the rights and obligations that arise from agreements and engagements in business practices. In addition, factors such as national development developments, business ethics, internal and external factors, and legal awareness influence the implementation of business law in ethical and responsible business practices. Therefore, the solutions and recommendations provided to improve the implementation of business law and ethical business practices in Indonesia include strengthening regulations, effective law enforcement, education and awareness, collaboration between government and the business world, transparency and accountability, and the establishment of a supervisory body. independent. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) has become a significant approach in the realm of education aimed at enhancing students' abilities to solve real-world problems. This paper delves into the integration of PBL within curriculum planning as an endeavor to create a more meaningful and pertinent learning environment for students. PBL amalgamates theoretical concepts with practical applications in problem-solving, enabling students to hone critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative skills. This research scrutinizes strategies for implementing PBL within curriculum planning, encompassing the identification of curriculum-relevant issues, structuring structured learning steps, and evaluating learning outcomes. The success of PBL within the curriculum context hinges upon schools' and teachers' capacities to design adaptable and flexible curricula. Teachers assume a pivotal role as learning facilitators, guiding students in exploring problems, fostering collaboration, and nurturing profound comprehension. Furthermore, this study underscores the advantages of integrating PBL into the curriculum, including heightened student motivation, fortified problem-solving skills, and preparing students to confront real-world challenges.

Developing scientific literacy in students is the main objective of any reform in science education. Scientific literacy is one of the most significant competencies of the 21st century. One problem with science education in Indonesia is that students fail to give enough attention to the knowledge that has already been taught, which results in a lack of scientific comprehension. By observing how the student responded to the student's collaboration abilities during their chemical studies from the viewpoint of the chemical literacy teacher, the study was trying to figure out how well second-year students understood chemical literacy on the level of a problem. In order to ascertain high school chemical literacy, a descriptive research design and quantitative methodology were employed in the study. The interview guides and chemical literacy questionnaires, which provide data on students' understanding of chemical literacy, are the study's instruments. Students from high schools in cities and villages, both regular and vocational, are the subjects of the study. Studies show that 39% of respondents agreed that high school students had very little understanding of the concept of chemistry. It is further supported by the opinions of a few of the chemical teachers who teach the XI class.
