Online media play a significant role in shaping public perception through framing processes, particularly on sensitive social issues such as protests. This study aims to analyze and compare how two Indonesian online news platforms, Kompas.com and Indozone.id, framed the student protest at Dongduk Women’s University in South Korea. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using Robert N. Entman’s framing model, which includes four elements: defining problems, diagnosing causes, making moral judgments, and suggesting remedies. The data were derived from two news articles published in November 2024. The findings reveal that Kompas.com applied a more critical and comprehensive framing approach, emphasizing social context, historical cases of sexual harassment, and the importance of safe spaces for women. In contrast, Indozone.id focused on the virality aspect, providing minimal analysis and omitting moral and solution-oriented framing. These differences reflect the editorial orientation of each platform and highlight the need for media literacy in an era dominated by algorithm-driven journalism. The study underscores how media framing influences public understanding of gender justice and women's education issues.

The issue of prostitution in Yogyakarta, especially in the Bong Suwung area, reflects the complexity that involves social, economic, and legal aspects. Despite regulations, prostitution practices continue to increase, presenting challenges in law enforcement and individual protection. The process of relocating Bong Suwung by PT KAI faced protests from residents who felt they were not treated fairly. In this context, the application of the concept of Collaborative Governance is important, with collaboration between the DPRD, local governments, and the community to achieve more humane and equitable solutions. The DPRD plays a role as a mediator, accommodating the aspirations of the community and ensuring transparency in the relocation process. This research shows that success in addressing prostitution and relocation issues is highly dependent on the collaborative capabilities of various actors, as well as the application of Collaborative Governance principles to create responsive public policies and reduce potential conflicts

Slum areas in Pekanbaru City are being addressed by the local government, including the Meranti Pandak Sub-district. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the Meranti Pandak Sub-district government in maintaining environmental cleanliness in slum areas and to identify the inhibiting factors affecting its effectiveness (Case Study: Slum Area in Meranti Pandak Sub-district, Pekanbaru City). Environmental issues in this area are of major concern due to their impact on public health and quality of life. The study applies Duncan’s theory (as cited in Nurmalasari & Supriyadi, 2021), which highlights three indicators: goal achievement, integration, and adaptation. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the sub-district government's efforts have not been fully effective. This is evident from poorly targeted programs, unequal service distribution among residents, low community participation, and weak monitoring and evaluation by the local authorities. Additional obstacles include unresolved waste management issues, limited budget, and non-permanent building structures. To improve effectiveness, the study recommends more focused program planning, sustainable community empowerment, and enhanced cross-sectoral coordination.

This study examines the legal protections and enforcement mechanisms against securities dilution in technology‐sector issuers adopting multiple voting rights stock classifications following an initial public offering (IPO) under Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 22/POJK.04/2021. It addresses two core issues: the adequacy of minority shareholder safeguards embedded within the regulatory framework and the nature and extent of share dilution experienced by existing investors in dual‐class structures. Employing a normative legal research design with a doctrinal approach, the analysis draws on primary sources including UU No. 40/2007, UU No. 4/2023, POJK 22/POJK.04/2021, issuer prospectuses, and PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia’s 2022–2024 annual reports complemented by secondary literature and tertiary legal references. Findings reveal that POJK 22/POJK.04/2021 integrates quantitative limits (a 90 percent cap on aggregate superior voting rights), procedural safeguards (minimum 5 percent ordinary‐shareholder quorum and independent renewal approval), temporal constraints (10‐year sunset clause), and one‐share‐one‐vote requirements for critical corporate actions, alongside a novel graduated voting ratio system. The GoTo case study underscores persistent misalignment between cash‐flow and voting rights, marked by significant share price volatility and reliance on share buybacks rather than dilutive issuances. While the regulatory framework is comprehensive, its efficacy is contingent on robust enforcement, transparency of indirect ownership, and institutional maturity. Empirical evaluation of post‐IPO dilution events, minority litigation outcomes, and enforcement actions is recommended to assess real‐world impacts.

Stock return refers to the level of profit gained by investors from stock ownership. The volatility of a company's stock return can be influenced by financial information such as profitability. However, over time, there has been growing pressure on companies not only to pursue financial profit but also to consider non-financial information, such as carbon emission disclosure and green accounting. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of profitability, carbon emission disclosure, and green accounting on the stock returns of energy sector companies. The research was conducted on energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2023 period. The sample was selected using a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique, resulting in 39 companies and a total of 117 observations. Data were collected using a non-participant observation method, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. During the data analysis stage, outliers were detected in the dependent variable, which affected the results of the normality and heteroskedasticity tests. To address this, the winsorizing method was employed to minimize the influence of outliers without eliminating the data. The findings indicate that profitability (measured by ROA), carbon emission disclosure, and green accounting all have a positive effect on stock returns. The implications of this study provide empirical evidence on the influence of profitability, carbon emission disclosure, and green accounting on stock returns in the energy sector on the IDX during the 2021–2023 period. Furthermore, the findings offer valuable insights for corporate management to enhance transparency on sustainability issues, provide strategic guidance for investors, and raise public awareness on the importance of supporting environmentally friendly businesses.

Pulmonary function disorders are commonly underdiagnosed health issues, especially in urban areas with high air pollution and prevalent smoking habits. Early detection through spirometry plays a crucial role in the promotion and prevention of respiratory diseases such as asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). However, public awareness and access to spirometry remain limited, including in the Tanjung Duren Selatan subdistrict of West Jakarta. This community service program was conducted using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle management approach. The target population consisted of productive-age residents willing to participate in health education and lung function screening. Spirometry examinations were conducted alongside interactive counseling about respiratory health and risk factors. Evaluation was carried out through spirometry results and participant satisfaction surveys. A total of 92 participants took part in the activity, consisting of 70 females (76.1%) and 22 males (23.9%), with a mean age of 43.78 years (SD ±12.93). The average Vital Capacity (VC) was 2.26 L, Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) was 2.13 L, and Forced Expiratory Volume in 1 Second (FEV1) was 1.95 L. The mean FEV1/FVC ratio was 107.12%, with 100% of participants showing normal lung function. This activity demonstrates that spirometry is an effective tool for monitoring lung function and increasing community awareness. Similar screening initiatives should be expanded to support early detection of respiratory disorders at the community level.

The rapid development of technology and social media has given rise to new trends in marketing strategies, one of which is the use of Influencers as promotional media. Influencers are often utilized as intermediaries between brands and consumers due to their perceived ability to shape public opinion and influence purchasing decisions. However, various ethical issues have emerged in advertising practices involving Influencers, particularly concerning transparency, honesty, and social responsibility. Many Influencers promote products without disclosing that the content is paid advertising. Such practices can mislead consumers and damage the reputations of both the Influencer and the associated brand. Another critical issue is the promotion of products that do not align with the Influencer’s personal values, as well as the lack of protection for vulnerable groups, such as children. Therefore, the implementation of strict and comprehensive advertising ethics is essential. This study highlights the importance of digital ethics education for Influencers, the enforcement of clear regulations, and the active role of social media platforms in labeling sponsored content, in order to establish a healthy and responsible digital advertising ecosystem.

This study aims to analyze the application of the legal principle of utility (kemanfaatan hukum) in relation to the inclusion of the phrase Basmallah at the beginning of authentic deeds in Murabahah financing contracts. In notarial practice, it has been found that certain notaries include the phrase “Bismillahirrahmanirrahim” at the beginning of the redaction of Islamic financing deeds. However, the form and structure of authentic deeds are explicitly regulated in Article 38 of the Notary Act (UUJN), which serves as the normative reference for notaries in drafting legally binding deeds. According to Article 1868 of the Indonesian Civil Code (KUHPerdata), an authentic deed is a document drafted in a format prescribed by law, created by or before a public official authorized for such matters, and executed at a place designated by law. Therefore, the inclusion of the Basmallah, which is not stipulated in the formal structure of deeds, may pose legal issues as it can be deemed a deviation from formal requirements, potentially undermining the evidentiary strength of the deed. To ensure both the utility and legal certainty of authentic deeds, it is necessary to reaffirm the formal boundaries as outlined in Article 1869 of the Civil Code, so that deeds drawn up by notaries maintain both formal and substantive legal validity. The scope of this study encompasses three main aspects: First, whether the inclusion of the Basmallah at the beginning of a Murabahah financing deed holds legal authenticity; second, to what extent such inclusion aligns with the principle of legal utility.

The skincare and cosmetics industry continues to grow as public awareness of self-care and beauty trends increases. However, the widespread use of single-use packaging in cosmetic products raises new issues in the context of environmental sustainability. This issue drives the importance of understanding how consumer perceptions of sustainability and other product attributes influence purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the effect of perceptions of packaging sustainability, environmental awareness, product price, and packaging design on purchasing decisions for Wardah cosmetic products. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 111 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that packaging design and perceived packaging sustainability had a significant effect on purchasing decisions, with packaging design as the most dominant factor. In contrast, the variables of environmental concern and product price do not have a statistically significant effect. The model used explains 65.37% of the variation in consumer purchasing decisions. This study indicates that consumer decisions are more influenced by visual aspects and sustainability values that are explicitly communicated through packaging. This study supports the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework and provides a practical contribution for cosmetics manufacturers in designing sustainable packaging strategies.

The initiative responded to ongoing issues stemming from manual documentation methods, which were prone to human error, inefficiency, and lack of integration with regional health information systems. To address these challenges, the program delivered an IT-based training module using a combination of direct instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on simulations. The training emphasized the use of accessible and cost-effective tools such as Google Forms and Google Sheets, designed in alignment with the principles of adult learning (andragogy) and Kurt Lewin’s change management model to facilitate behavioral adaptation and technology acceptance among the participants. A total of 25 health cadres participated in the program. Pre- and post-training evaluations demonstrated significant improvement in digital skills, with 80% of participants achieving a minimum of 85% accuracy in completing digital forms and managing records. In addition, a prototype digital system based on Google Workspace was successfully piloted in two Posyandu locations. This system enhanced the timeliness, accuracy, and integration of health data reporting to local health centers (Puskesmas), offering a scalable and sustainable solution for grassroots healthcare data management. Despite the positive outcomes, the program also identified key challenges, notably limited internet infrastructure and varying levels of prior digital exposure among cadres. These findings underscore the need for continuous mentoring, support from local government stakeholders, and potential investment in digital infrastructure. Overall, the initiative contributes to Indonesia’s broader goals of digital transformation in public health, particularly at the village level.
