This study aims to analyze the role of liturgical inculturation in shaping the faith experience of the congregation through the practice of Inculturated Mass at St. Klemens Mandonga Parish. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach combined with literature review and a survey involving 96 parish respondents. The findings indicate that most parishioners perceive inculturation as an encounter between Catholic faith and local culture that helps them experience their faith in a more contextual and meaningful way in everyday life. The practice of the Inculturated Mass is considered not only to enrich liturgical celebrations through the use of local cultural elements, but also to encourage active participation among the faithful during worship. In addition, liturgical inculturation fosters awareness of the importance of preserving local culture in harmony with Christian values. Such contextual liturgical experiences help deepen the spiritual relationship between the faithful and God, strengthen brotherhood within the community, and build a more inclusive and harmonious communal identity. Therefore, liturgical inculturation plays an important role in shaping a more vibrant, profound, and contextual experience of faith within both the Church and society.

The development of digital technology has positioned video games beyond mere entertainment to become a cultural medium with the potential to influence players' social and political perspectives. In this context, video games are seen as relevant as a medium for political socialization because they present interactive narratives, moral choices, and social simulations that allow players to directly experience dilemmas of power, justice, responsibility, and state-citizen relations. This article aims to analyze the potential of video games as a medium for political socialization, examine narrative elements that influence the formation of political awareness, and examine the possibility of integrating the Indonesian socio-cultural context into game narratives. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review design through a search of various literature sources. The results indicate that video games can serve as a medium for informal political socialization through participatory experiences, moral reflection, and the immersive internalization of political values. This potential will be further enhanced by incorporating local Indonesian contexts, such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong), diversity, and social justice. This study confirms that video games are worthy of being positioned as an educational-cultural medium that can expand political education models in the digital era.

The principle of the presumption of innocence is a fundamental principle in criminal law that aims to protect the rights of suspects from the beginning of the legal process. This principle is enshrined in the 1945 Constitution and regulated in Article 8 of Law Number 8 of 1981 concerning the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), which states that a person cannot be considered guilty unless a court decision with permanent legal force declares them guilty. The application of this principle at every stage of examination (investigation, prosecution, and trial) is crucial to ensuring the protection of the rights of perpetrators (suspects or defendants) and preventing the abuse of power that may harm individuals who have not been proven guilty. This research focuses on examining the consequences of violations of this principle in investigations and the protection of suspects’ rights within the criminal justice system, along with efforts to prevent such violations. The method used is a literature review with a juridical-normative approach. The findings indicate frequent neglect of the presumption of innocence, leading to human rights violations. To prevent this, stricter supervision by external monitoring bodies, such as the National Commission on Human Rights, is necessary to safeguard the rights of suspects.

Food waste is a global issue that has a major impact on the economy, environment, and food security. The high rate of food waste is directly influenced by food waste behavior. Also, food waste behavior does not just appear, but it is supported by other factors such as food waste knowledge and food preferences. As an effort to prevent the increase in food waste, it is important to know the relationship between these two factors and the occurrence of food waste behavior. The method used is a literature review of open access scientific articles with English language used and published in the period 2015–2025 through the Google Scholar databases. The results of the review show that most studies found a significant relationship between food waste knowledge and food preferences with food waste behavior. However, some studies also showed inconsistent results. Although many studies support the relationship between food waste knowledge and food preferences with food waste behavior, the difference in results also indicates that there are still other factors that are strongly related to food waste behavior, so more comprehensive efforts are needed to reduce the occurrence of food waste behavior.

This study examines the dominance of mother tongue use in junior high school environments and its implications for the use of Indonesian as the language of instruction. The research is grounded in the sociolinguistic reality of multilingual Indonesian society, where students tend to rely on their first language in daily communication. The objective of this study is to analyze the factors influencing the dominance of mother tongue, its impacts on students’ Indonesian language proficiency, and its pedagogical implications. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review design, analyzing relevant scholarly sources published in recent years. The findings indicate that the dominance of mother tongue is influenced by linguistic, social, and psychological factors, including family environment, peer interaction, and limited Indonesian vocabulary mastery. The study reveals dual impacts: while mother tongue use facilitates comprehension and increases students’ confidence, it also potentially hinders formal Indonesian language development and leads to language interference. The study concludes that mother tongue should not be viewed solely as a barrier but as a potential pedagogical resource. The implications suggest that educators should adopt contextual bilingual strategies to optimize Indonesian language learning in multilingual classrooms.

This study aims to analyze the influence of national income, as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP), on poverty levels in Indonesia from a sharia economic perspective. The research method used is quantitative with a simple linear regression approach, supported by a literature review to enrich the analysis from an Islamic perspective. The data used is annual secondary data from the 2010-2023 period sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results indicate that national income (GDP) has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels in Indonesia, meaning that every increase in GDP is followed by a decrease in the percentage of the poor. From a sharia economic perspective, national income growth must be accompanied by a fair distribution mechanism through zakat, infaq, sedekah, and waqf (ZISWAF) instruments so that its benefits can be felt by all levels of society, in line with the concepts of falah and maqashid sharia.

The transition from paper-based to Computer-Based Test (CBT) in the Academic Potential Test (TPA) for state university entrance selections has significantly transformed the educational assessment landscape. This conceptual study aims to evaluate the instruments of CBT-based TPA, focusing on validity, reliability, fairness, and technological infrastructure constraints. Employing a systematic literature review approach, this research synthesizes various foundational theories of educational measurement, specifically Item Response Theory (IRT) and Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT), alongside contemporary empirical findings from the last five years. The findings indicate that while CBT offers enhanced administrative efficiency and rapid grading, the validity of the instruments is frequently challenged by item exposure and the diverse digital literacy levels of test-takers. Furthermore, infrastructural disparities among regions pose a significant threat to testing fairness. The implication of this study suggests the urgent need for a dynamic item bank generation system and the implementation of adaptive testing to mitigate cheating and ensure equitable assessment. Future educational policies must bridge the digital divide before uniformly mandating CBT. Ultimately, this review provides a comprehensive framework for test developers to refine CBT TPA instruments, ensuring they genuinely measure academic potential rather than technological proficiency.

Corruption remains a persistent challenge in Indonesia because it weakens public trust, undermines welfare, and obstructs equitable development. This article examines how Aristotle’s virtue ethics can contribute to anti-corruption efforts by addressing the moral roots of corrupt behavior. The study argues that corruption is not only a legal or administrative violation but also a failure of character, judgment, and commitment to the common good. Using a qualitative conceptual design, the article employs philosophical analysis, a structured literature review, and Socratic questioning to examine the relationship between virtue, leadership, and public integrity. The analysis identifies three principal roots of corruption: weak moral character, poor ethical judgment, and self-interest over the common good. It shows that Aristotelian ethics offers an integrated response through the cultivation of moral virtue, intellectual virtue, and practical wisdom. The findings suggest that virtue-based ethics is most effective when combined with anti-corruption education, ethical leadership, stronger rule-of-law implementation, and institutional arrangements that reduce opportunities for abuse of power. Aristotle’s framework does not provide a complete solution, but it offers a valuable normative foundation for strengthening ethical public culture in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze intersubjectivity, love, and hope in the anime The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity through the perspective of the existentialist philosophy of Gabriel Marcel. The research employs a qualitative method using a literature review and content analysis approach. Data were collected from relevant philosophical texts on Marcel’s thought and from the analysis of scenes, dialogues, and character development in the anime. The findings reveal that the relationship between Kouruko Waguri and Rintaro Tsumugi reflects the concept of intersubjectivity as an authentic encounter between “I” and “Thou,” where both individuals recognize each other as subjects. The concepts of being and presence are manifested through genuine presence and relational openness, while having functions as a supporting element that does not lead to possessiveness. Furthermore, fidelity, love, and hope emerge as central dimensions in the fulfillment of the characters’ existence, as these aspects enable their relationship to develop in a meaningful and profound way. This study demonstrates that popular cultural works such as anime can serve as relevant media for philosophical reflection in understanding human existence as inherently relational.

The rise of the digital age has brought significant changes to leadership dynamics and leadership development patterns within the context of Christian ministry. This paper addresses the critical issue of leadership succession failure, which is driven by a generational gap between senior leaders and young leaders-in-training, as well as the underutilization of technology in the mentoring process. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review, state-of-the-art analysis, and theological synthesis, this study assesses the relevance and effectiveness of the multiplicative leadership model as a solution to the leadership succession problem. The analysis reveals that multiplicative leadership—which emphasizes discipleship, intensive mentoring, delegation of responsibility, and intergenerational collaboration—can bridge the generational gap while accelerating the multiplication of leaders in the digital age. The integration of digital technologies, such as virtual mentoring, digital training modules, and collaborative media, has proven capable of expanding the impact of the leadership development process and enhancing relational closeness between generations. This paper concludes that the multiplicative leadership model is a strategic and theological approach aligned with the biblical mandate to produce leaders capable of developing other leaders, and is relevant for addressing the challenges of contemporary Christian leadership.

This study analyzes the strategic role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in managing Indochinese refugees namely from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos on Galang Island during the period 1979–1996. The “boat people” crisis at that time required a multisectoral response that was not only emergency-based but also sustainable, linking Indonesia’s transit policies with applicable international protection standards. Using a literature review method of international journal articles and program technical documents, this study finds that NGOs performed crucial functions beyond mere logistical assistance, particularly through structured educational planning such as the Overseas Refugee Training Program (ORTP). Recent literature indicates that NGO consortia such as SCF and EIL, along with faith-based organizations such as JRS, YCK, and ICMC, played a significant role in fostering refugee self-reliance through cultural orientation curricula and work simulation programs (Work Orientation). Despite various structural challenges and resource limitations, the experience on Galang Island demonstrates the effectiveness of partnerships between NGOs and the government in supporting adaptive and sustainable regional humanitarian diplomacy.
