This article aims to reconstruct legal awareness and social justice in the context of a contemporary rule of law through the integration of economic law, digital law, civil law, criminal law, and constitutional law within the framework of citizenship rights and Islamic Sociological Jurisprudence Theory. The main problem of this research stems from the fact that the development of the modern legal system tends to be sectoral, formalistic, and not fully responsive to social change, unequal access to justice, and digital transformation that affects the relationship between citizens and the law. This research uses a normative legal research method with a conceptual, legislative, and sociological approach. The results of the study indicate that legal awareness is not simply understood as formal compliance with norms, but must be developed as a substantive awareness oriented towards social justice, protection of citizenship rights, and public welfare. From the perspective of Islamic Sociological Jurisprudence, law is positioned not only as a regulatory instrument, but also as a means of social transformation based on the values of justice, moral responsibility, and siding with the interests of society. Integration across legal branches is crucial for the legal system to more comprehensively address issues related to economics, digitalization, civil relations, criminal enforcement, and state governance. Therefore, the reconstruction of legal awareness must be directed toward establishing a legal paradigm that is integrative, humanistic, adaptive, and socially just.

The phenomenon of hate speech on social media, particularly on platform X, has intensified alongside the increasing level of public interaction within open and largely unregulated digital spaces. This condition not only generates communicative conflicts but also shapes complex social experiences for individuals, particularly in relation to identity, emotion, and power relations. This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of how hate speech is constructed, interpreted, and negotiated by users within the context of digital interaction. Employing a qualitative approach with a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and digital document analysis involving 10–15 active users of platform X who have experienced hate speech. Data were analyzed thematically by identifying patterns of meaning emerging from participants’ experiences. The findings reveal three major themes: hate speech as a lingering yet normalized emotional experience; discourse as a site for the reproduction of power and identity delegitimization; and self-negotiation strategies employed by participants to survive within digital spaces. These findings indicate that hate speech operates not only at the linguistic level but also in shaping users’ social and psychological realities. Theoretically, this study reinforces Critical Discourse Analysis by emphasizing the importance of subjective experience in interpreting discursive practices. Practically, it contributes to the development of digital literacy, content moderation policies, and efforts to create more inclusive and reflective communication spaces in the digital era.

This community service activity focused on waste management and composting in elementary schools. Daily activities in schools generate organic and inorganic waste, which, if not managed properly, can cause environmental pollution and increase the risk of health problems. Students' lack of knowledge and habits in sorting and processing waste is one of the contributing factors to this problem. Therefore, early environmental education is needed to foster caring and responsible behavior in waste management. Improving students' knowledge and skills in sorting waste and processing organic waste into compost is an effort to create a clean and environmentally friendly school environment. The activity was carried out over one day through counseling, interactive discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice of waste sorting and making simple compost using presentation media and real-world examples. Students demonstrated active and enthusiastic participation throughout the activity. There was an increase in understanding of the types of waste, the importance of proper waste management, and the stages of composting. Students were able to practice sorting organic and inorganic waste and understand the basic process of composting. This activity was effective in increasing students' knowledge, awareness, and skills related to waste management and composting. The combination of interactive outreach methods and hands-on practice contributes to fostering environmentally conscious behavior and supporting the creation of a clean, healthy, and sustainable school environment.

This article examines the relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI), the concept of sensus communis proposed by Nicholas of Cusa (1401–1464), and the formation of religious communities. Through a theoretical-philosophical analysis, the author argues that sensus communis as the integrative capacity of the human intellect that unifies sensory, rational, and intuitive dimensions offers a normative epistemological framework for critically addressing the reductionism inherent in algorithmic AI. The main finding indicates that AI constitutes only a partial simulacrum of the integrative capacity of human reason and, therefore, cannot replace the ontological-transcendental dimension of authentic formation. Accordingly, this article proposes a model of critical-integrative formation grounded in three pillars: the selective use of AI, the preservation of AI-free spaces, and hermeneutical integration. The relevance of Cusa’s thought for contemporary religious formation is articulated in three contributions: docta ignorantia as a formative habitus, coincidentia oppositorum as a paradigm of dialogue, and ontological participation as the foundation of knowledge.

The digital transformation in Indonesia’s banking sector has significantly increased the use of digital banking services; however, it has not been fully accompanied by optimal customer trust. This study aims to examine the effect of perceived risk, data privacy protection, and digital service quality on customer trust, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data collected from 150 digital banking users in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that perceived risk has a negative and significant effect on trust, while data privacy protection and digital service quality have positive and significant effects on trust. Simultaneously, all variables significantly influence trust, with an R² value of 0.672, indicating strong explanatory power. Compared to prior studies, this research contributes novelty by integrating these three variables into a comprehensive model. The findings reveal that digital service quality is the most dominant factor influencing customer trust. This study concludes that enhancing customer trust requires an integrated approach through effective risk management, strengthened data protection, and continuous improvement in digital service quality.

Bureaucratic rigidity is a form of public administration pathology that remains a serious problem in Indonesian governance. The bureaucracy's rigid, hierarchical nature, slow decision-making, and resistance to change are major obstacles to the government's digital transformation process. Amidst the demands of the digital era, which prioritizes speed, transparency, and efficiency, an unadaptive bureaucracy actually slows down innovation in public services and erodes public trust in the government. This study aims to analyze bureaucratic rigidity as a disease in public administration and its impact on the implementation of digital transformation in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature review. The results indicate that bureaucratic rigidity is caused by a conservative organizational culture, complicated regulations, and low human resource capacity to adapt to technology. Furthermore, a lack of system integration and weak transformational leadership exacerbate these conditions. Digital transformation is not merely a technological issue, but a paradigm shift in governance. Therefore, comprehensive bureaucratic reform is needed, including simplifying procedures, strengthening the digital competency of civil servants, and shifting the work culture to be more flexible and innovative. Thus, an adaptive and responsive bureaucracy can be realized as the foundation of an effective digital government that is oriented towards public services.

Parking tax collection as part of Specific Goods and Services Tax (PBJT) is an important source for increasing Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD). This policy is based on Law Number 1 of 2022 concerning Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments and is implemented through Regional Regulation of Bandar Lampung City Number 1 of 2024. This study aims to examine the implementation of parking tax collection as PBJT as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in its execution. The research employs normative juridical and empirical juridical approaches with a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through documentation studies and interviews with the Regional Revenue Management Agency (BPPRD) of Bandar Lampung City as the implementing institution. The results show that the implementation of PBJT on parking services in Bandar Lampung City uses a self-assessment system, where parking operators calculate, collect, report, and remit taxes independently through e-SPTPD and SIMANTAP managed by BPPRD. Supporting factors include clear regulations, the utilization of information technology, growth in the parking sector, and inter-agency support. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include suboptimal taxpayer compliance, limited human resources within BPPRD, technical issues in the reporting system, and fluctuations in revenue due to seasonal factors. Overall, the implementation of PBJT on parking services has been effective but still requires improved supervision to optimize regional tax revenue.

This article examines umpasa as the determinant of the validity of the Mangalahat Horbo ritual and as a vehicle for transmitting the cultural values of the Batak Toba people from an anthropolinguistic perspective. Mangalahat Horbo is a buffalo sacrifice ritual that functions simultaneously as a cosmological, political, and linguistic event. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using three theoretical frameworks: Dell Hymes' (1974) SPEAKING model to analyze the ritual as a speech event, Roland Barthes' (1968) semiotics to dissect the denotative and connotative meanings of umpasa, and Kluckhohn's (1953) theory of cultural values and Sibarani's (2014) local wisdom theory to identify embedded cultural values. The findings reveal that umpasa operates on three simultaneous layers of meaning: pragmatic-performative, social-hierarchical, and cosmological-ecological. Umpasa is not merely an aesthetic ornament but a constitutive element of the ritual that shapes the social and cosmological reality of the Bius community. Eight cultural values are identified: communicative courtesy, adat knowledge transmission, self-restraint, collective responsibility, cultural preservation, cosmological reciprocity, distributive justice, and ecological harmony. This study affirms the urgency of anthropolinguistic documentation of Mangalahat Horbo before the Parhata masters of umpasa diminish further.
