Asphyxia is a condition in which a baby has difficulty breathing spontaneously and regularly immediately after birth, so that it cannot obtain oxygen and remove carbon dioxide from its body. This condition occurs due to pathological changes caused by a lack of oxygen in the respiratory system, which can result in hypoxia and hypercapnia. Asphyxia can also be grouped into two types, namely primary asphyxia that occurs when a baby is born and secondary asphyxia that occurs some time after birth. This study aims to determine what factors influence the incidence of asphyxia at RSUD DR Tengku Mansyur Tanjungbalai City in 2023. The type of research is an analytical survey study with a cross-sectional design used to determine the relationship between maternal age, gestational age, parity, and amniotic fluid with the occurrence of neonatal asphyxia at RSUD DR Tengku Mansyur Tanjungbalai City in 2023. The research sample consisted of 25 people, who were selected using a sampling technique with the Total Sampling Technique. The results of the bivariate analysis using the Fisher's Exact Test showed a p-value of 0.344. Thus, it can be concluded that there is no statistically significant relationship between maternal age and the incidence of neonatal asphyxia at DR. Tengku Mansyur Regional Hospital, Tanjung Balai City, in 2023.

Stroke is one of the leading causes of long-term disability worldwide. Stroke survivors often experience severe disabilities, particularly in their ability to walk and perform daily physical activities independently. Many are unable to ambulate without assistance, even after reaching a certain level of independence. These persistent impairments contribute to a decreased quality of life and increase the risk of long-term complications. This study aims to determine the self-perceived difficulty in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) among ischemic stroke patients. The research employed a quantitative descriptive design and involved 25 ischemic stroke patients selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected at Banda General Hospital using the Barthel Index (BI) assessment tool to evaluate the patients' level of independence in carrying out daily activities, both before and after receiving physiotherapy. The results showed that, prior to physiotherapy, 10 respondents (40%) were in the category of severe dependency, requiring significant assistance to perform ADL. Following physiotherapy intervention, there was a decrease in the number of patients in the severe dependency category, indicating an improvement in functional independence. These findings suggest that physiotherapy plays an important role in supporting recovery and enhancing the ability of ischemic stroke patients to carry out daily activities. Patients’ self-perceived difficulties are also essential indicators in designing more personalized and effective rehabilitation programs.

Bell’s Palsy is an acute peripheral facial nerve paralysis that causes unilateral facial weakness. The exact cause remains unclear but is suspected to involve anatomical factors, infections, viral reactivation (especially Herpes Simplex Virus), ischemia, inflammation, and cold exposure. The incidence is 20-30 per 100,000 people annually, with no gender or age preference, though it is more common in middle-aged and elderly individuals. Risk factors include diabetes, pregnancy, preeclampsia, obesity, and hypertension. Symptoms develop suddenly, peaking within 48 hours, and include facial asymmetry, difficulty closing the eyes, eating, speaking, and sensory-motor disturbances. Most cases recover spontaneously within weeks to months, but corticosteroids and antiviral therapy can accelerate recovery. Proper diagnosis is crucial as Bell’s Palsy is often mistaken for stroke or other neurological disorders.

Many students have difficulty in learning mathematical concepts, especially in the material of curved-sided spatial figures, in addition, knowledge of regional culture is still lacking. This is due to the limited use of teaching materials in learning which has an impact on students' interest in learning. The purpose of this study is to develop teaching materials in the form of e-modules with an ethnomathematics approach to curved-sided spatial figures that are suitable for use, as an alternative to other teaching materials that can be used in learning. The type of research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The subjects of this study were grade IX students at SMPN 2 Kaledupa. The instruments used to measure the validity and practicality of the teaching materials developed were in the form of a validation questionnaire from material experts and media experts and a student response questionnaire. The data obtained from measuring validity and practicality were then processed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research on the development of teaching materials with an ethnomathematics approach show that the developed learning e-module is declared feasible to use based on the assessment results of the material expert and media expert validators. The average score percentage obtained from the material expert validator is 89.06% with very valid criteria. While the average score percentage from the media expert validator is 86.45% with very valid criteria. In addition, the learning e-module with an ethnomathematics approach is also declared practical to use based on the results of the student response assessment. This study aims to analyze the suitability of the term of office of the Neighborhood Association (RT) administrators with the provisions contained in Regent Regulation Number 24 of 2020 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of Neighborhood Associations. The term of office of RT administrators is an important aspect in running the government at the village/sub-district level which affects the effectiveness of community services and the sustainability of development programs. Through a normative legal research approach, this study examines whether the provisions on the term of office of RT administrators stated in the regulation are in accordance with applicable legal principles, community needs, and practices in the field. The research methods used are document studies, interviews with RT administrators and related parties, and comparative analysis with similar policies in other areas. The results of the study indicate that there are several discrepancies between the provisions on the term of office stated in the Regent Regulation and the real conditions that occur in the field. Some RT administrators have difficulty in carrying out a term of office that is too short, while others feel that a term of office that is too long can hinder the regeneration of the administration. This study recommends that there be a revision to the Regent Regulation Number 24 of 2020, by considering the existing findings, and providing space for the community to participate more actively in the process of replacing RT administrators.

This research aims to explore the use of information technology-based digital literacy in increasing awareness of data security and preventing cyber crime. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive analysis methods, which combine primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through in-depth interviews with information technology experts, digital literacy activists, the government, and the general public, coupled with observations of the implementation of digital literacy programs in several regions. Secondary data was obtained from official documents and reports related to digital literacy and cyber threats. The research results show that although understanding about the use of digital devices is quite widespread, awareness of the importance of protecting personal data is still low. Existing digital literacy programs tend to focus on basic skills in using technology, but do not include material on data security and cyber threats. The main obstacle in implementing digital literacy programs is limited resources and facilities in certain areas. In addition, even though educational efforts regarding cyber threats have been carried out, people still have difficulty understanding the right way to protect their data from cyber attacks. This research concludes that it is necessary to strengthen digital literacy programs that are more inclusive and in-depth, as well as increasing collaboration between the government, the private sector and educational institutions to increase public understanding regarding data security and preventing cyber crime.
