The problem of household organic waste remains a major challenge in urban areas, including in the North Rejowinangun Village of Magelang City. High population density and limited land use cause the volume of organic waste to continue to increase and impact the condition of the Final Disposal Site (TPA) which is experiencing overcapacity. This community service activity aims to provide a community-based organic waste management solution through the cultivation of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggots as a method of organic waste bioconversion. The implementation method is carried out in a participatory manner through the stages of preparation and problem identification, implementation of activities in the form of education and direct practice of BSF maggot cultivation, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity show that BSF maggots are able to decompose household organic waste effectively, as indicated by a reduction in waste volume in a relatively short time and a decrease in potential odor. BSF larvae show stable growth with a high level of waste consumption, especially in media with good humidity and management. In addition to the environmental impact, this activity also increases public knowledge and awareness about the importance of organic waste management and opens up opportunities for the development of maggot cultivation as a productive activity with economic value. Thus, BSF maggot cultivation can be an alternative solution for sustainable organic waste management that is easy to implement in the community.

This research aims to: 1) examine the development of the Human Development Index (HDI), Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR), population size, economic growth, and the poverty gap index in the regencies/cities of Jambi Province from 2020 to 2024; and 2) analyze the influence of the Human Development Index, Labor Force Participation Rate, population size, and economic growth on the poverty gap index in the regencies/cities of Jambi Province. The research method employed is descriptive quantitative. The analytical tool used is Panel Data Regression through the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach, processed with EViews 12 software. The results show that the Human Development Index, population size, and economic growth have a significant influence on the poverty gap index in the regencies/cities of Jambi Province during the 2020-2024 period. Conversely, the LFPR does not have a significant effect on the poverty gap index in the region during the same period. These findings imply the importance of strengthening human resource quality through HDI improvement and more inclusive economic growth policies in Jambi Province. Furthermore, the government needs to evaluate the quality of available employment, as the high Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) has not yet been able to significantly reduce the depth of poverty.

This study aims to assess the quality of patient care at the Emergency Unit of Sentani City Community Health Center, Jayapura Regency, by examining the experiences and perceptions of patients, their families, and healthcare workers regarding the service. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Informants were selected using purposive sampling involving ER patients, their families, and healthcare workers involved in the ER service process at Sentani Community Health Center. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observation, and documentation studies. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research analysis refers to seven dimensions of service quality, namely direct evidence (tangibles), reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, service accessibility, and service systems and flows. The results of the study showed that service quality at the Sentani Community Health Center ER was in the fairly good category, especially the dimensions of empathy, reliability, and responsiveness of healthcare workers. Healthcare workers were friendly, responsive, and provided fair services without discriminating against patient backgrounds. However, a number of obstacles are still found that affect the optimization of services, including limited facilities and infrastructure, the number of health workers that is not commensurate with the service load, patient waiting times in certain conditions, the operating hours of the Emergency Room that are not yet 24 hours, and the low understanding of some patients regarding the applicable service system and flow.

The focus of the study includes learning planning, learning implementation, the use of media and learning resources, the role of teachers and schools, and learning evaluation. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing using triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results show that the implementation of the curriculum in mathematics learning has been quite effective. Teachers apply student-centered learning through differentiated learning and various learning strategies, such as lectures, discussions, and deep learning approaches. The most widely used media and learning resources are printed books and the internet. Teachers and schools play an important role in creating active learning and supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. However, learning evaluation is still dominated by written tests, so it does not fully reflect authentic assessment in accordance with learning objectives. Therefore, improvements are needed in the application of authentic assessment and the integration of learning objectives, learning strategies, and assessment techniques so that curriculum implementation can run more optimally.

Community service with the theme of Socialization and Education of Legal Products for MSME and Creative Economy Actors in Temberan Village, Pangkalpinang City, is based on field conditions, where many MSME actors in the region do not have legal legality for the businesses they run and lack basic knowledge regarding product packaging and brand creation that have high marketability. As a result, their businesses are not developing to strengthen the creative economy and enhance the capacity of actors. The model used in this program is a direct dialogue method with the MSME actors. The discussion results showed that of the 26 participants, only 1 MSME actor had received guidance and had an NIB (Business Identification Number), but lacked a halal certificate and patent rights for their product brands. The other 25 participants were briefed for the first time regarding the importance of legal legitimacy for their business. Therefore, it can be concluded that these 25 MSME actors do not have legal legitimacy for their businesses. The team provided assistance to help register their businesses by collaborating with relevant agencies. Regarding product branding, it was found that all participants had not optimized their product branding, as most MSME actors in Temberan Village packaged their products simply without attractive branding, packaging, colors, or packaging materials. Many even used plastic wrapping without a brand. The team intervened intensively by providing further assistance to MSME actors in Temberan Village, utilizing information and communication technology to help determine product brands for those without one and to select packaging materials that follow current trends, shapes, colors, and materials to make the product more attractive and increase branding and consumer interest.

This study aims to analyse the factors influencing the implementation of Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Semarang City. Specifically, it examines the effects of accounting understanding, information technology utilisation, and MSME owners’ perceptions on SAK EMKM implementation, with SAK EMKM socialisation as a moderating variable. The research employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 109 MSME actors selected through purposive sampling. Data were analysed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate relationships among variables. The results indicate that accounting understanding and MSME owners’ perceptions have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of SAK EMKM. Meanwhile, information technology utilisation shows a significant but suboptimal impact, as technology is still primarily used for operational purposes rather than for financial reporting. In addition, SAK EMKM socialisation does not significantly moderate the relationships between the independent variables and SAK EMKM implementation. The originality of this study lies in the inclusion of SAK EMKM socialisation as a moderating variable and the focus on MSMEs in Semarang City as the research context. This study contributes to the development of accounting practices for MSMEs by emphasising the importance of internal capacity building and more practical-oriented socialisation programs to improve the quality of financial reporting.

Background: The postpartum period is a critical phase requiring optimal nutritional intake for maternal recovery and ensuring the quality of breast milk. In densely populated urban areas such as Semampir District, dietary quality is often influenced by the level of nutrition knowledge and household economic conditions. Objective: This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutrition knowledge and household food security with dietary quality among postpartum mothers in Semampir District, Surabaya. Methods: This was an observational analytical study with a cross-sectional design. A total of 340 postpartum mothers were selected using simple random sampling. Nutrition knowledge was measured through a structured questionnaire, food security was assessed using the Household Food Insecurity Access Scale (HFIAS), and dietary quality was measured using the 3-level Balanced Diet Index derived from 24-hour food recall data. Data were analyzed descriptively and through the Chi-Square correlation test. Results: The findings indicated that the majority of respondents possessed a good level of nutrition knowledge (average correct answers >75%), with the highest score in anemia prevention (81.2%) and the lowest in the functional role of Vitamin A (75.9%). Dietary quality assessment revealed that most respondents were in the [Select: Moderate/Poor] category based on IGS scores. Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship (p < 0.05) between both nutrition knowledge and household food security with the dietary quality of postpartum mothers. Conclusion: Good nutrition knowledge and stable food security contribute positively to the dietary quality of postpartum mothers. Targeted nutritional education regarding micronutrients and strengthening food access at the household level are essential to optimize maternal health during the postpartum period in urban settings.

This study aims to analyse the role of the East Java Provincial Transportation Agency in improving the quality of inter-city bus transportation services within the province (AKDP) based on Soekanto's role theory (in Solahudin et al, 2022), which is reviewed using three indicators: regulatory role, service role, and supervisory role. The research employed a qualitative research method with techniques of interviews, observation, and documentation of the Transportation Agency, Organda, PO owners, drivers and conductors, as well as passengers at Bungurasih Terminal. The results of the study show that in terms of regulation, the Transportation Agency has established tariff policies and Minimum Service Standards (SPM), but these have not functioned optimally as operational guidelines, as reflected in the low transparency of tariff information and the varying quality of the fleet. In terms of service, although safety inspection procedures and service facilities are available, the quality of safety, comfort, terminal facilities, as well as access to information and complaint mechanisms have not been consistently felt by users. In terms of supervision, tariff compliance control and SPM implementation remain weak and tend to be tolerant of irregularities. The main findings indicate a serious gap between normative standards and field practices, resulting in standards losing their coercive power as quality guarantors. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening the enforcement of standards in a firm and consistent manner, increasing the transparency of service and tariff information, and conducting supervision that is oriented towards tangible results for the community.

Musical modality, professionalism, and work quality in everyday musical practice constitute the main analytical framework of this study. This research departs from the view that musical professions are often reduced to hobby-based activities, whereas in practice they involve work strategies, professional attitudes, and negotiation between artistic idealism and market demands. This study employs a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with two musicians in the city of Solo, Aditya Ong and Indra Permana, who represent different backgrounds, professional roles, and musical orientations. The findings indicate that modality comprising experience, musical skills, and professional networks forms the foundation of musicians’ professionalism. Professionalism is reflected not only in technical competence, but also in work ethics, responsibility, and the ability to position oneself within various musical work contexts. Work quality is not understood normatively as good or bad, but as the outcome of how musicians manage their modality and professionalism in specific working situations. This study concludes that musical practice in Solo is shaped through continuous negotiation between artistic orientation, market demands, and the pursuit of livelihood stability. Musical modality, professionalism, and work quality are interconnected in forming musicians’ strategies to sustain their musical practices amid the dynamics of the local music industry.
