Based on observation data, it can be seen that science learning in elementary schools still does not improve student learning outcomes. This is because the learning is still teacher-centered or learning that is centered on the teacher (the teacher is active while the students are passive) and the use of learning media is still lacking. This can cause the impression of boring learning and can result in low student motivation which has an impact on student learning outcomes in learning. Therefore, a study was conducted on the use of role-playing tools in improving science learning outcomes about the motion of objects and energy. The purpose of this study was to improve science learning outcomes about the motion of objects and energy by using teaching aids. This study used classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects were grade III students of SD Negeri 06 Dobo, Aru Islands Regency, Maluku. Bullying remains a serious issue in elementary school environments that has negative impacts on children’s mental health, social relationships, as well as emotional and character development. Recognizing the importance of early prevention efforts, students of the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN) from Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) initiated and implemented an anti-bullying outreach program for children in Nagari Harau. This program aims to increase children’s awareness, understanding, and sensitivity toward various forms of bullying, including physical, verbal, and non-verbal bullying, as well as to introduce the impacts caused and simple strategies to deal with and prevent such behavior. The outreach activities were carried out using participatory and interactive methods to ensure the material was easily understood by children, supported by PowerPoint presentations, educational quizzes, light discussions, and simulations of everyday situations relevant to their lives. The target participants were elementary school students in the Nagari Harau area who are vulnerable to bullying practices in school and social settings. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of bullying, where only about 30% of participants understood the material before the activity, increasing to 85% after the program was implemented. Positive responses from children, teachers, and the local community emphasize the importance of this program as an effective form of social intervention. This program demonstrates that child-friendly educational approaches can contribute to creating a safer, more comfortable, and bullying-free learning environment.

This study investigates the optimization of Fathul Qorib text-based instruction in the fiqh chapter of fasting to enhance the practical understanding of fasting among third-grade students at Madrasah Diniyah Raudhatul Hasaniyah 1. The research background emerges from the gap between students’ theoretical knowledge of fasting and its practical application in daily worship. Using a qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation, the study explores instructional interactions between teachers and students, pedagogical strategies, and behavioral changes that follow the implementation. The findings indicate that the Fathul Qorib approach significantly improves comprehension of fasting pillars, intention, conditions, and violations that nullify fasting. Additionally, the teacher’s role, learning atmosphere, and student engagement were key supporting factors, while limited time and varied student abilities served as obstacles. The implications suggest that classical kitab-based learning, when adapted through interactive methodology, remains effective for building authentic Islamic practice and character.

In the learning process, there are various important aspects that must be considered, especially by teachers as transmitters of knowledge. The success of learning depends heavily on the teacher's ability to manage the classroom to create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Therefore, teachers need to choose the right learning method so that learning objectives can be achieved effectively. One method that can be used is Outdoor Learning, which is learning outside the classroom that provides opportunities for students to develop talents and creativity more broadly through direct experience in the open air. Management of the learning environment is also a crucial factor in supporting learning success. Several things that need to be considered include understanding the nature and development of student intelligence, getting to know students individually, utilizing student behavior in organizing learning, and developing critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. In addition, teachers need to create an attractive classroom, utilize the environment as a learning resource, provide constructive feedback, and differentiate between students' physical and mental activities. The learning environment itself consists of indoor and outdoor environments. The indoor environment includes school facilities such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and auditoriums. Meanwhile, the outdoor environment includes places outside the school that can be used as learning resources, such as museums, mosques, monuments, and fields. Prospective teachers need to understand the importance of managing the learning environment and understand the various types and benefits of learning environments to support an effective learning process.
