Although often overlooked as household waste, used cooking oil has great potential to produce environmentally friendly products. Fourth semester students of the Business Administration Program were trained to make aromatherapy candles from used cooking oil through this community service activity. The goal was to increase knowledge about the circular economy, encourage creativity, and foster students' entrepreneurial spirit. Socialization, hands-on practice, pre-post test evaluation, and participatory discussion were the methods of the activity. The results showed a significant increase in understanding and recycling skills. This activity shows that innovation based on household waste can support environmental sustainability while producing products with sales value.

Biology education requires a learning strategy that can improve conceptual understanding while developing students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of class X students on biodiversity materials at SMA Negeri 1 Melonguane. The research uses a quasi-experimental method with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design, involving two classes, namely the X-A experimental class taught using the PjBL model with a mini ecosystem project, and the X-D control class. The control class is taught conventionally. The analysis results showed a significant increase in the posttest score of the experimental class with an average of 79.33 compared to the control class with an average of 73.39. These findings indicate that applying the PjBL model effectively creates active learning, increases student engagement, and develops problem-solving skills and creativity. The lower variability of scores in the experimental class showed that PjBL could accommodate differences in students' abilities. Project-based learning also arouses students' motivation and confidence, making Biology learning more contextual and meaningful. The implications of this study show that applying the PjBL model can be an alternative to Biology learning strategies to improve learning outcomes while supporting the development of 21st century skills. This research enriches the literature on Biology learning innovations. It opens opportunities for further studies related to the application of PjBL to other materials or long-term impact analysis on students' academic achievements.

This community service activity aims to increase students' creativity and environmental awareness through making bracelets from recycled beads at SD Perumnas Muhammadiyah. The activity began with an observation of the school environment to obtain an initial picture as a basis for planning. Students were involved in direct practice, starting from introducing materials, compiling designs, to the bracelet production process. The results of the activity showed the creation of 32 bracelets with 6 design variations. Although the average selling price was only IDR 7,000, lower than similar case studies (IDR 15,000), the increase in participants' skills reached 85%, exceeding the comparative study by 80%. Participants' environmental awareness also increased by 90%, indicating the success of the program in instilling ecological values. This activity not only hones technical skills, but also forms an attitude of responsibility, cooperation, and concern for the environment. This program is expected to be an example of good practice in developing character education and creativity in elementary schools.

This research discusses the impact of smartphone use on the academic performance of 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Suak Tapeh. The development of technology, especially the use of smartphones, has a significant impact on people's lives, including in the field of education. The use of smartphones can have both positive and negative effects on students' academic performance. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Primary data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, while secondary data were obtained from relevant documents or archives. The findings reveal that smartphones have positive effects, such as facilitating access to learning materials, enhancing creativity, and broadening knowledge. However, uncontrolled smartphone use can lead to negative effects, such as addiction, sleep disturbances, decreased concentration, and diminished quality of social interactions. This study is expected to provide insights into the benefits and risks of smartphone use in supporting students' learning processes and offer recommendations for schools in designing policies related to smartphone use among students.

Learning strategies are a series of instructional actions that teachers must carry out in order for learning objectives to be achieved efficiently. The learning strategies used in the choir extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 4 Sewon include direct learning strategies, indirect learning strategies, and inquiry-based learning strategies, using demonstration, imitation, and drill methods . This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The object of the research is the learning strategies employed in choir extracurricular activities, with the research subjects being the extracurricular teachers and students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. Data validation is carried out using source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis is conducted through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study show that the implementation of learning strategies in the choir extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 4 Sewon uses demonstration, imitation, and drill methods in a structured and effective manner. These methods are combined with direct, indirect, and inquiry-based learning strategies to enhance students' vocal skills and creativity. The impact of implementing these strategies is an improvement in singing ability, the development of self-confidence, creativity, and independence, as well as increased student motivation to actively participate in choir activities. The teacher acts as a facilitator who creates a space for independent and collaborative learning, making the learning process more enjoyable. This activity not only develops musical skills but also builds students' confidence and professionalism in various performance opportunities. With regular practice schedules and relevant song material, this extracurricular activity makes a positive contribution to the development of students' talents and character at school.

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan ekstrakurikuler KIR SMK Negeri 1 Mojosongo yang dapat menguatkan kreativitas dan berpikir kritis pada anggota KIR. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Strategi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi analisis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah waka kesiswaan, pembina, dan anggota ekstrakurikuler kelompok ilmiah remaja. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahannya menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif dengan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan di ekstrakurikuler KIR meliputi kegiatan penelitian dan perlombaan. Dalam tahapan kegiatan penelitian telah memuat kelima indikator penguatan berpikir kritis yaitu ketrampilan menganalisis pada kegiatan pengujian, ketrampilan mensintesis/menggabungkan pada kegiatan perolehan informasi dari jurnal, ketrampilan memecahkan masalah, ketrampilan menyimpulkan serta ketrampilan mengevalusi pada setiap tahapan penelitian. Selain itu kreativitas para anggota selalu diasah dengan kegiatan penemuan ide/tema penelitian yang akan dilakukan. Kata Kunci : Kreativitas, Berpikir Kritis, Kelompok Ilmiah Remaja ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the form of extracurricular activities carried out by SMK N 1 Mojosongo KIR which can strengthen creativity and critical thinking in KIR members. This research method was a qualitative descriptive method. The research strategy used was an analysis study. The subjects of this study were the vice principal of student affairs, the supervisor, and members of the extracurricular youth scientific group. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The validity test of the data used was by using source triangulation and method triangulation. The research data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques with an interactive analysis model. The results of this study could be concluded that the forms of activities carried out in the KIR extracurricular were research and competition activities. In the research activity stage, there are 5 indicators of strengthening critical thinking such as analytical skills in testing activities, synthesis skills/combining information acquisition activities from journals, problem-solving skills, conclusion skills and evaluation skills for each stage of the research. The development of AI has fundamentally transformed the professional ecosystem, creating a series of contemporary challenges for Generation Z preparing to enter the work arena. This study focuses on the development of motion graphic storyboards as an educational instrument to enhance Generation Z's employability capabilities for the AI era. Implementing a hybrid research methodology, data collection was conducted through digital surveys and in-depth dialog with experts to explore perceptions on the implications of AI on employment and the strategic competencies needed to adapt. The research findings indicate that Generation Z shows substantial awareness of the urgency of skills upgrading and transfer, although there is still a lack of clarity in understanding the concrete consequences of AI on future employment prospects. The motion graphic design developed presents an adaptive approach through an engaging storyline, narrative visualization, and interactive character elements, with an emphasis on the concepts of T-Shaped Skills and Transferable Skills. The research concludes that professional readiness in the era of AI digitalization requires not only technological understanding, but also adaptive flexibility, creativity, and synergy between human capacity and digital systems. Motion graphics were identified as the optimal medium to convey knowledge and strengthen Generation Z's position in anticipating future professional dynamics.

This study analyzes the perceptions of ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 236 Jakarta regarding the use of smartphones as a learning medium in the 21st-century era, where digital technology advancements have transformed the educational landscape and made smartphones a relevant tool for learning. The research aims to identify student perceptions and the obstacles they face. Employing a quantitative descriptive method with questionnaires and interviews involving 139 respondents, findings reveal positive perceptions across cognitive (especially creativity), affective (comfort), and conative (active engagement) aspects. However, challenges such as rapid battery drain, internet data consumption, notification distractions, and misunderstandings with teachers persist. The implications of this research emphasize the need for regulations, guidance, and solutions to support responsible and effective smartphone use in learning.

Entrepreneurship training is an important strategy in the economic empowerment of village communities, especially for the youth of Karang Taruna and PKK members who have a strategic role in local development. In Kaladawa Village, local potentials such as agricultural products, processed food, and handicrafts actually have a fairly high economic value. However, this potential has not been utilized optimally due to low knowledge, skills, and access to information and technology that supports entrepreneurship. Lack of understanding of business planning, digital marketing, and financial management is often the main obstacle that hinders village communities from starting and developing businesses independently. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity and economic independence of the residents of Kaladawa Village through practice-based entrepreneurship training. The training is comprehensively arranged, combining interactive lecture methods, group discussions, case studies, and simple business simulations so that participants are able to understand in theory and practice. The training material includes basic concepts of entrepreneurship, identification and analysis of local potential-based business opportunities, preparation of business plans, digital marketing strategies using social media, and financial management of micro businesses. Not only technical skills, this training also equips participants with soft skills such as business communication skills, teamwork, and creative and innovative thinking. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the basic principles of entrepreneurship and readiness to start a business independently. The pre-test and post-test evaluations showed a spike in comprehension scores, while the business plan products developed by participants showed creativity and the use of local potential that had not been previously worked on. Some participants have even formed community-based small business groups. This training also succeeded in forming an adaptive and innovative entrepreneurial mindset and building a social network that supports business collaboration.

Vocational education is an education that prepares students to enter the workforce, equipping students with specific and applicable skills and knowledge, so they can immediately work in relevant fields. Entrepreneurial skills are one of the skills that can connect theory with industrial practice to create graduates who are innovative, collaborative, and ready to take advantage of existing business opportunities. This Community Service (PKM) activity was carried out at SMK Bina Profesi Pekanbaru with the Theme of Empowering Vocational Competence: Training on Creating Home Products with Economic Value at SMK Bina Profesi Pekanbaru. The purpose of this service is to increase the knowledge and understanding of SMK Bina Profesi Pekanbaru students in the field of product design and packaging so as to increase students' enthusiasm and creative ideas in managing businesses and obtaining additional family income. The service activity methods used are lecture and practice methods. The results of this service activity are expected to increase the creativity and enthusiasm of SMK Bina Profesi Pekanbaru students so that they are able to create products with economic value and have an impact on the family economy.

This music training with rhythm pattern material aims to improve the competence of kindergarten teachers in integrating creative and fun music learning in the early childhood education environment. The training activity was carried out at the FKIP Kindergarten, Syiah Kuala University and involved 15 teachers as participants. The training method includes initial observation, pre-test, and a series of learning stages ranging from the introduction of rhythm and tempo, rhythm composition, to joint exercises using alternative media such as used goods as musical instruments. The results of the training showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of rhythm concepts, creativity in creating rhythm patterns, and the ability to utilize simple media as musical instruments. This training proves that with creativity and the right approach, the limitations of musical instruments are not an obstacle to organizing effective music learning in kindergarten.

This community service activity aimed to introduce and strengthen the understanding of sociopreneurship among students of SMA Islam Andalusia Kebasen through an experiential learning approach. The initiative responded to the need for youth empowerment programs that combine entrepreneurial skills with social responsibility, particularly those grounded in Islamic values. The one-day training was designed to be interactive and engaging, incorporating inspirational dialogues with practitioners, interactive simulations, role-plays, and value reflections. These methods were intended to create an immersive learning experience, enabling students to connect theory with real-world application. A total of 50 students participated in the program. The training focused on three main objectives: (1) developing the ability to identify and analyze social issues in their community, (2) designing solutions through the creation of social enterprises, and (3) integrating Islamic values into business practices to ensure ethical and sustainable entrepreneurship. Evaluation was conducted using pre- and post-training assessments, observation, and participant feedback. The results indicated that 70% of participants demonstrated a strong understanding of the concept of sociopreneurship after the training. Additionally, 76% successfully integrated Islamic values into their proposed business ideas, while over 60% were able to design simple but feasible social enterprise concepts addressing real social problems. Participants also reported increased awareness, empathy, creativity, and leadership skills as outcomes of the activity. The findings highlight that experiential learning-based sociopreneurship training is an effective method for cultivating youth’s capacity to initiate social change through entrepreneurial action. This program not only enhanced students’ knowledge and skills but also inspired them to become agents of positive transformation in their communities. It is recommended that schools establish follow-up initiatives, such as sociopreneur clubs, mentoring schemes, and project incubation programs, to ensure the sustainability and further development of students’ social enterprise ideas.

The Community Service and Practical Fieldwork Program (KPPM) serves as a tangible form of social responsibility by encouraging students to engage in meaningful activities that positively impact society. In the 2025/2026 academic year, IAKN Tarutung conducted this program involving undergraduate students, including those enrolled in the Christian Religious Education (PAK) and Church Music Education (PMG) departments. One of the designated locations for this program was Hutauruk Village in Tarutung District, North Tapanuli Regency. This study centers on the implementation of the KPPM program in Hutauruk Village, which ran from March to June 2025 and engaged students from IAKN Tarutung. The primary objectives of this research are to explore the spiritual challenges faced by the community, to present solutions developed during the program, to assess the overall impact of KPPM on the local residents, and to examine how participation in the program contributes to the students’ personal and professional development. A qualitative research approach was employed, using methods such as participatory observation, interviews, and literature review. The findings indicate that students are required to assist the BNKP (Banua Niha Keriso Protestan) Fa’omasi Tarutung Church community by working collaboratively, demonstrating creativity, actively participating, and applying effective problem-solving strategies.

This research aims to: 1) Find out how the teacher's strategy in classroom management in learning moral beliefs at MTs of the al istiqomah karya education foundation for Kebumen regency. 2) To find out how the Role of Teacher Creativity in Improving Classroom Management in Moral Faith Learning at MTs of the Al Istiqomah Karya Guna Education Foundation, Kebumen Regency. 3) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of Teacher Creativity in Classroom Management in Moral Faith Learning at MTs of the Al Istiqomah Karya Education Foundation in Kebumen Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach where the type of research is field research. The data collection technique uses observation, interview, and documentation methods related to the role of teacher creativity in improving classroom management in learning moral beliefs. The analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that: 1) Teachers' strategies in classroom management in learning moral beliefs at MTs Al Istiqomah Karya Guna Education Foundation, Kebumen Regency. This includes setting up students' sitting positions every week, forming discussion groups, using learning media such as laptops and projectors, and providing constructive feedback. In addition, there are positive habits such as reading Asmaul Husna before learning begins to create a conducive classroom atmosphere. 2) The role of teacher creativity in improving classroom management in learning moral beliefs at MTs Al Istiqomah Karya Guna Education Foundation, Kebumen Regency. Teachers apply several approaches, such as taking turns seating each week, forming discussion groups, using learning media such as laptops and projectors, and providing constructive feedback. In addition, the habit of reading Asmaul Husna before the lesson starts is also carried out to foster discipline and a religious atmosphere in the classroom. Madrasah heads fully support this strategy by providing training for teachers, including training in the use of digital platforms and learning applications. 3) Supporting and Inhibiting Factors for Teacher Creativity in Classroom Management in Learning Moral Beliefs at MTs Al Istiqomah Karya Guna Education Foundation, Kebumen Regency. 1) Inhibiting factors from teachers. Heavy workloads such as teaching followed by extra-curricular teaching, superior classes or competition classes and other tasks at school that must be completed. 2) Student factors. a) Varying levels of student participation are sometimes an obstacle. Not all students are actively interacting, so it was difficult for me to create a dynamic and creative classroom atmosphere. This makes me have to continue to look for ways to make students more motivated and involved in the learning process. b) Students are difficult to manage or not communicative in the teaching and learning process.

Entrepreneurship training is a key strategy for empowering village economies, especially among youth from Karang Taruna and PKK members. This program aims to enhance participants' entrepreneurial competencies through practical-based training methods, including interactive lectures, group discussions, and business simulations. A participatory approach was implemented to help participants identify local potentials, develop business ideas, and formulate digital-based marketing strategies. The results of the training indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of entrepreneurship, as reflected in the emergence of innovative business plans focused on local and digital products. Pre- and post-training evaluations showed increased motivation, creativity, and readiness among participants to initiate independent ventures. The training also fostered a sustainable entrepreneurial spirit by covering essential topics such as financial management, digital transformation, and business networking. Participants acknowledged that direct experiences and intensive mentoring during the sessions played a crucial role in building their confidence and competitiveness. However, for long-term success, continuous mentoring and institutional support are required, along with strategic collaboration between stakeholders such as village governments, local MSMEs, and higher education institutions. Thus, this program not only contributes to improving technical and entrepreneurial skills but also plays a pivotal role in developing a self-reliant and sustainable rural entrepreneurial ecosystem. The integration of similar training into broader community empowerment programs is recommended to ensure lasting impact, inclusive access, resilience, innovation, adaptability, creativity, empowerment, collaboration, leadership, and meaningful local economic development.

The low interest and engagement of lower-grade primary school students in literature serve as an important introduction to this study. The aim of this Community Service Program (PKM) was to enhance children’s literary abilities through the use of three innovative media: word cards, short story videos, and descriptive texts. The study employed an experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design and a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on Kemmis & McTaggart (1988), carried out among grades I–III students at SD Katolik Roworeke 2, Ende (approximately 25–30 students per class). Results showed a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group compared to the control group, especially in literary element comprehension and literary appreciation. Word cards enriched vocabulary, story videos increased visual appeal and understanding, while descriptive texts trained literacy and imagination skills. The interactive and contextual learning process proved effective in fostering reading interest, teacher creativity, and students’ literacy enthusiasm. In conclusion, this method is recommended for adoption by Indonesian Language and Literature teachers in lower grades. The low interest and engagement of lower-grade primary school students in literature serve as an important introduction to this study. The aim of this Community Service Program (PKM) was to enhance children’s literary abilities through the use of three innovative media: word cards, short story videos, and descriptive texts. The study employed an experimental method with a pretest–posttest control group design and a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on Kemmis & McTaggart (1988), carried out among grades I–III students at SD Katolik Roworeke 2, Ende (approximately 25–30 students per class). Results showed a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group compared to the control group, especially in literary element comprehension and literary appreciation. Word cards enriched vocabulary, story videos increased visual appeal and understanding, while descriptive texts trained literacy and imagination skills. The interactive and contextual learning process proved effective in fostering reading interest, teacher creativity, and students’ literacy enthusiasm. In conclusion, this method is recommended for adoption by Indonesian Language and Literature teachers in lower grades. In the teaching and learning process, teachers have the task of encouraging guiding and providing learning facilities for students to achieve their goals. On of the factors that influences interest in learning is teacher creativity. This study aims to determine teacher Creativity in improving learning at SDK MBOMBA This study takes a qualitative approach. One of the Teachers creative abilities in learning is creating aids in the form of family cards. The descriptive nature of this study makes teacher creativity very involved. Data collection in this study includes observation, documentation studies and analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are four key components in the development of this qualitative study related to teacher creativity in improving the quality of SDK MBOMBA learning, such as teacher creativity in understanding learning materials that will be taught creativity in managing the classroom environment, creativity in using various learning methods and teacher creativity in use of learning media.
