This research investigates the effectiveness of maritime vocational education in developing leadership and management competencies, focusing on ethical decision-making, global competence, and innovation. A qualitative approach was used to gather insights from 24 participants, including maritime professionals, lecturers, graduates, and senior government officers. The results reveal that maritime vocational schools are highly effective in fostering leadership skills, with an overall average score of 9/10 across various indicators. However, graduates indicated a need for more practical, hands-on learning experiences to better transition into professional leadership roles. The study suggests that further collaboration between maritime vocational schools and industry stakeholders is essential to ensure curriculum relevance and alignment with industry demands. By enhancing practical learning opportunities and addressing gaps in leadership training, maritime vocational education can continue to play a critical role in preparing future leaders for the complexities of the global maritime industry.

Qualitative perspectives from 5 maritime professionals, 5 lecturers, and 5 graduates working in maritime sectors were analyzed through descriptive analysis. The study aims to understand how maritime instructors can effectively integrate technical, promotional, marketing, and innovative skills into their teaching practices to better prepare students for the maritime industry. The data collection was conducted through structured interviews, observations, and focus group discussions. Findings indicate that improving teacher training not only enhances instructor competencies but also bridges the gap between maritime education and industry requirements. Key indicators include the effectiveness and efficiency of the training programs, with a performance score of 9/10 based on qualitative assessment. The paper discusses the implications for maritime vocational education, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement in instructor development. The study concludes with recommendations for further enhancing maritime teacher training programs by incorporating modern management practices and technological advancements to ensure that maritime education stays relevant to industry demands.

This research explores the transformative impact of digitalization on maritime operations, focusing on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain. Through qualitative research and descriptive analysis, perspectives from maritime professionals, lecturers, and graduates were examined to understand the integration of these technologies in maritime management, operations, and education. The findings reveal that digital tools significantly enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and sustainability while highlighting challenges in workforce training and the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in maritime education. Despite the benefits, full optimization of these technologies is still developing due to varied adoption levels across the industry. The research emphasizes the need for investment in infrastructure, continuous professional development, and educational reform to fully leverage digitalization in the maritime sector.

Larger maritime companies have shown significant progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving operational efficiency, while smaller enterprises face financial and logistical barriers to adopting green technologies. The study also highlights the gap between sustainability education and its practical application in the industry, calling for stronger collaboration between academic institutions and industry leaders. The findings underscore the need for continued innovation, policy support, and investment to ensure that sustainability initiatives contribute to both environmental preservation and long-term economic growth in the maritime sector.

Results demonstrate a high level of efficiency and effectiveness, scoring 9/10 across various indicators. These findings offer insights into how maritime institutes can align their curriculum with industry needs, encouraging innovative and entrepreneurial thinking in future maritime professionals.

The maritime industry is rapidly evolving due to technological advancements and increased emphasis on sustainability. This research aims to develop a specialized maritime management curriculum that aligns with the needs of the port, shipping, and logistics sectors while incorporating emerging technologies and sustainability practices. Through qualitative research involving 5 maritime professionals, 5 lecturers, and 5 graduates, this study investigates the current gaps in maritime education and the essential competencies needed in modern maritime professions. Using descriptive analysis, the research provides insights into the integration of applied management studies, technical skills, and innovation into the curriculum. The study identifies key areas where existing curricula fall short, including the underrepresentation of technological and sustainability competencies. By examining the experiences of industry professionals and educational experts, a new curriculum framework is proposed, aiming to enhance graduate readiness for modern challenges. The curriculum effectiveness is evaluated using key performance indicators (KPIs), with a 9/10 score on alignment with industry needs. Comprehensive tables illustrate the scoring across various curriculum components, including technology integration, sustainability, and managerial skills. The findings suggest that the proposed curriculum model can significantly improve the employability of graduates, ensuring that they are equipped to meet the dynamic requirements of the maritime industry. Continuous curriculum development, with feedback from industry stakeholders, is recommended to maintain alignment with evolving industry needs.

Pregnancy caused by forced sexual intercourse is a very difficult issue for women, especially for Muslim women. Due to a lack of knowledge about the permissibility of abortion in the context of sexual violence with a focus on the implications of Islamic law, Muslim women as victims, their families, and medical professionals face difficulties in making informed decisions on this issue. The purpose of this article is to analyze the Islamic legal perspective on abortion in these circumstances and examine the legal protections available to victims of sexual violence. In addition, the article examines the characteristics of mothers and infants as living beings, with particular emphasis on the distinction between the right to life of the fetus and the right to health and well-being of the mother. The article provides suggestions for the harmonization of victim protection laws and policies using a multidisciplinary approach. It also provides recommendations for the harmonization of laws, victim protection policies, and the provision of comprehensive health services, to ensure a balance between justice and the protection of human rights.

Case transfer in management Guidance and counseling is an important process in handling student problems that are too complex. The purpose of this case transfer was to obtain supporting data regarding the students who were transferred to the case and to provide more effective guidance services by experts. This process involves identification, assessment, and transfer of responsibility from one counselor to another counselor or the BK team. For example, a psychological test, a guidance and counseling teacher can collaborate with a psychology institution to obtain data related to students' psychological development. The case transfer program can collaborate with other professionals, such as psychiatrists, police, doctors and other professionals.

This study examines the legality of pig valve transplantation in humans from an Islamic perspective, with the aim of understanding the differences of opinion that exist among scholars and medical professionals. This literature review identified two main views: first, arguments in favor of the use of pig valves in emergency situations, which adhere to the principle that patient safety should be the top priority. Proponents of this view argue that in critical conditions, such as heart failure, the use of pig valves can be justified to save lives, given the limited halal alternatives available. Second, there is a view that rejects the use of pig valves, arguing that the laws of halal and haram in Islam cannot be ignored, even in a medical context. Opponents argue that more sharia-compliant solutions should be sought, such as the use of valves made from synthetic materials or halal animals. This study shows that the legal issue of pig valve transplantation is multidimensional, encompassing medical, ethical, and religious aspects. Therefore, a constructive dialogue is needed between scholars, medical practitioners, and the community to find a solution that is acceptable to all parties, while respecting Islamic principles in medical decision-making.

As an effort to address the issue of toxic words among adolescents in Kelurahan Kasongan Baru, education is essential. Therefore, the socialization of toxic words is highly relevant. This socialization aims to provide an understanding to adolescents about the negative impacts of using toxic words. The activity was held at SMPN 1 Katingan Hilir as a form of community service, targeting students aged 11 to 13 years. Before the socialization, a pre-test questionnaire was distributed to assess the students' understanding of toxic words. The survey results indicated that 92.1% of respondents were aware of the term, but only a few understood its negative consequences. After the educational intervention through socialization, the post-test results showed that 90% of students understood the concept of toxic words, with 78% committing not to use them again. Therefore, this socialization is considered successful due to the increase in students' understanding. Although progress has been made, challenges in behavioral change remain, necessitating ongoing educational programs. The service team recommends collaboration with the school and professionals to create a more positive environment that supports students' development as the future generation of the nation.

A community is also a group of people with similar characteristics or interests who live together in a larger society. E-sports (electronic sports) is a term for video game competitions connected to devices such as computers or smartphones, usually played collectively, where the players are professionals. This community can be used to gather or group people's interests, especially in esports or video games. In fact, the public still has negative prejudices towards professional gamers. They consider playing games to be an activity that takes up time and reduces learning achievement. Apart from that, it is thought that being addicted to playing games will make gamers behave antisocially. Based on these explanations, the research question is whether there is a relationship between knowledge of e-sports and demographic factors (age, gender, level of opinion, level of education) and perceptions of professional gamers? This study aims to explore Islamic legal views on euthanasia, particularly in the context of terminally ill patients. Using a literature study approach, this study analyzes Quranic verses, hadiths, and the views of scholars on euthanasia, which is generally rejected in Islamic law. As an alternative, palliative care is identified as a more appropriate ethical solution, focusing on alleviating pain and improving the patient's quality of life. This study also underlines the importance of dialogue between health professionals and scholars to develop care protocols that comply with sharia principles. These findings suggest the need for better education and training for health professionals on medical ethics in the context of Islamic law. In doing so, it is hoped that health practices can better respect religious values ​​and meet patient needs more effectively.

Key findings highlight the importance of practical application in maritime law education, emphasizing case studies and scenario-based learning to prepare cadets for real-world challenges. Simulator training emerges as pivotal in developing navigation skills and critical decision-making abilities essential for safe maritime operations. The study also underscores the significance of regulatory compliance, advocating for continuous curriculum adaptation to meet evolving STCW and IMO regulations. Recommendations include enhancing collaboration between stakeholders, expanding experiential learning opportunities, and integrating regulatory awareness throughout educational frameworks. By fostering these initiatives, vocational schools can nurture competent maritime professionals equipped to navigate global maritime challenges while upholding safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards.

Assessment of cadet readiness reveals strengths in theoretical knowledge but emphasizes the need for more extensive practical training. Innovative approaches using simulators and online platforms enhance learning outcomes and operational efficiencies. The study concludes with recommendations for ongoing collaboration between academia and industry to sustain curriculum innovation and prepare a competent workforce for the evolving maritime industry.

Mojolaban is a sub-district located in Sukoharjo Regency. Osteoarthritis is one of the most common complaints experienced by elderly people in Mojolaban. Knee osteoarthritis is inflammation of the knee due to damage to the knee joint which can be caused by age or trauma. This condition causes pain, stiffness in the joints and limitations in movement in the knee. The aim of the physiotherapy program in cases of osteoarthritis is education and demonstration of exercise therapy in the form of closed kinetic chain exercises to reduce pain and prevent complaints from getting worse. The method used is the counseling method (lecture and question and answer), providing leaflets, education, and demonstrations about closed kinetic chain exercises related to osteoarthritis knee targeting participants at Bekonang RW 09 Elderly Posyandu. To evaluate the increase in understanding, the author used a questionnaire before and after the test. The results showed a significant increase in understanding of osteoarthritis material and exercise therapy, with the average score increasing from 2.25 on the pre-test to 4.35 on the post-test. It is hoped that the results of this Community Service activity will become a reference for physiotherapists and other health professionals to encourage the implementation of similar activities, so that they can improve public health, especially in cases of osteoarthritis genu in the elderly.

Vulvodynia is a chronic pain condition affecting the vulva that significantly impacts women’s quality of life. Accurate and early diagnosis poses a challenge due to the often-overlapping symptoms with other conditions and the lack of definitive diagnostic tests. This paper proposes the use of expert system methods as a diagnostic tool for vulvodynia in women. The expert system, integrating medical knowledge with inference algorithms, is designed to analyze symptoms, medical history, and test results to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations. The study involves the development and evaluation of a computer-based expert system prototype that uses clinical data and medical decision-making to enhance the accuracy of vulvodynia diagnosis. Preliminary results indicate that the expert system can improve diagnostic rates and reduce the time required for identifying this condition, offering a potentially valuable tool for medical professionals in clinical practice.  

In today's fast-paced and always-connected digital life, many individuals experience increased stress due to various reasons. Major issues in the digital era include constant connectivity, information overload, social media pressure, distractions and multitasking, work-life balance, social isolation, and mental and physical health concerns. The aim of this research is to explore how to manage stress effectively to achieve a state of "stress no more" amidst the digital landscape. This study employs a qualitative research approach. The findings suggest strategies for managing stress, such as limiting gadget use, implementing digital detox, maintaining life balance, managing information wisely, practicing relaxation techniques, and seeking help from psychological professionals and counselors.

Safe anesthesia monitoring is a crucial aspect of medical procedures to ensure patient safety during anesthesia administration. A lack of knowledge and skills among healthcare professionals in anesthesia monitoring can increase the risk of complications and undesirable side effects. The educational program on safe anesthesia monitoring in healthcare facilities aims to enhance medical professionals' knowledge, skills, and awareness in implementing appropriate monitoring standards. This study employs a descriptive approach to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational program through interactive training methods, clinical simulations, and competency-based assessments. The results indicate that the provided education significantly improves participants' understanding of safe anesthesia monitoring principles and reduces errors in clinical practice. Therefore, education on safe anesthesia monitoring should be an integral part of medical training to enhance healthcare quality and patient safety..

The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly altered the landscape of the healthcare product market, with a rapid increase in demand for Vitamin C as a means to enhance immune function. Amidst intensifying competition, Hevit-C, a well-known brand in Jakarta's pharmacies, has employed marketing strategies and innovations to maintain its revenue stability. This study aims to analyze various marketing strategies and innovations implemented by Hevit-C during and post-pandemic, and to identify the correlation between these strategies and innovations with the brand's revenue stability. The research methodology includes sales data analysis, collection of data related to marketing strategies and innovations used by product management, and a review of literature on marketing strategies in the pharmaceutical industry. It is anticipated that the findings of this research will benefit healthcare professionals and pharmacies by providing insights and educational materials on the use of Vitamin C for patients and the general public. Furthermore, the study aims to benefit the pharmaceutical industry by optimizing marketing strategies and better meeting market demands.
