This study aims to analyze the influence of infrastructure and the quality of human resources (HR) on economic competitiveness in Central Java Province. In the era of globalization, competitiveness is an important indicator of regional progress. Infrastructure such as transportation, electricity, and digital connectivity support economic efficiency, while quality human resources increase productivity and innovation. Despite their importance, development imbalances remain a challenge in Central Java. This study uses panel data from BPS and is analyzed using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) method based on Chow and Hausman tests. The results show that together, infrastructure and human capital have a significant effect on economic competitiveness. However, separately, both have a negative and insignificant influence, with regression coefficients of -0.000195 for infrastructure and -0.0176 for human capital. The Adjusted R-squared value of 0.3149 indicates that 31.49% of the variation in competitiveness is explained by these two variables. This finding is important for determining the direction of future regional development policies.

The acceleration of globalization and advances in information technology have brought about significant changes in the economic field. In this context, collaboration between individuals is a key element in forming business groups that aim to achieve economic benefits. These business groups can take the form of informal businesses that do not yet have legality, as well as legal entities known as corporations. When individuals join a corporation, this also strengthens the corporation's position as a legal subject in economic activities. A legal subject (subject tumjuris) is an entity that can have and exercise rights and obligations. This situation can trigger abuse of power by corporations against the public interest, which is then known as corporate crime. Such crimes are usually committed for the sake of the company's business interests and fall into the category of white collar. crime. One form of corporate crime that is rampant is the violation of the economic rights of creators and copyright owners

This study aims to describe and analyze the representation of Indonesian culture in Fiersa Besari's novel Arah Langkah using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. This novel presents the narrative of the journey of the novel's characters who discover the diversity of Indonesian culture through geographical descriptions, customs, and social interactions that occur. Using descriptive qualitative methods and literature studies, the study examines the cultural signs that appear in the text in depth at the level of denotative, connotative, and cultural myth meanings. Barthes' approach allows the disclosure of layers of symbolic and ideological meanings hidden in the novel's cultural representation. The results of the analysis are expected to enrich literary and cultural studies, increase readers' appreciation of Indonesian cultural values, and contribute to the preservation of the nation's cultural identity amidst the flow of globalization. This study also emphasizes the role of the novel as a medium for reflecting socio-cultural life and a means of learning life values through the experiences of characters in the story.

This research aims to analyze the marketing strategies implemented by PT. Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) in facing globalization and the Asian free market through a SWOT analysis approach. In the context of increasingly tight competition in the motorcycle market, HPM must be able to adapt effective marketing strategies to maintain its position as the market leader in Indonesia and develop its market share in Asia. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study on HPM, exploring the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the company in the context of a free market and the dynamics of the automotive industry. The analysis results show that HPM has strengths in a strong brand, extensive distribution networks, and innovation capabilities in products. However, there are weaknesses in product diversification and dependence on the domestic market. Existing opportunities include market expansion in Asia and increasing demand for environmentally friendly vehicles, while threats come from intense competition and fluctuations in the global economy. Based on these findings, HPM is expected to develop more adaptive and globalization-oriented marketing strategies to enhance competitiveness in the Asian market.

Globalization has increased the interest of Foreign Nationals (WNA) in owning property in various countries, whether for residential purposes, holidays, or investment. Indonesia and Malaysia, as two Southeast Asian nations, have different regulatory approaches regarding property ownership by WNA. This research aims to analyze the legal provisions, identify similarities and differences in regulations, and evaluate their impact on the investment climate and legal protection for WNA in both countries. The research method used is comparative law, focusing on the legal basis, forms of ownership, limitations, and legal protection. The findings indicate that Indonesia tends to be protective of land ownership by foreign parties, strictly regulated through the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) No. 5 of 1960, which limits WNA to Right of Use (Hak Pakai) and Right to Build (Hak Guna Bangunan/HGB) with limited durations. In contrast, Malaysia adopts a more liberal and pro-investment approach, allowing WNA to own property as freehold or leasehold based on the National Land Code 1965 and the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program. The implications of these differences are that Indonesia's restrictive policies may reduce the attractiveness of foreign investment due to legal ambiguity and limitations in secondary transactions. Meanwhile, Malaysia offers greater legal certainty and economic appeal through freehold ownership, despite social risks such as rising property prices. This study concludes that Malaysia has a more foreigner-friendly system for property ownership, while Indonesia maintains a cautious principle. It is suggested that Indonesia consider agrarian reforms that are more transparent and provide legal certainty that balances national interests with foreign investment attractiveness.

This study examines the challenges and problems faced by Islamic education amid the complex dynamics of globalization. While globalization brings positive impacts through advances in information and communication technology, it also poses challenges such as the infiltration of global cultural values that do not always align with Islamic principles. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a library research method, drawing from scholarly sources in national journals and recent academic books. The findings reveal that Islamic education encounters internal challenges such as conventional teaching methods, curricula that are unresponsive to changing times, and low digital literacy among educators. Meanwhile, external challenges include the secularization of education, unequal access, technological revolutions, and multicultural issues. To address these challenges, it is necessary to reformulate an integrative curriculum, improve teacher professionalism, and create educational environments that support Islamic values. This article recommends a transformative and adaptive approach to Islamic education that remains firmly rooted in the values of tawhid and akhlaq al-karimah in facing global challenges.

The #KaburAjaDulu phenomenon that emerged in early 2025 became a digital expression of Generation Z Indonesia towards various social, economic and political unrest in the country. This hashtag not only reflects the desire to migrate, but also symbolizes criticism of the national situation that is considered not to provide hope and space to develop for young people. This research uses a qualitative approach with the descriptive analysis, and utilizes constructivism theory in international relations and social identity theory to understand the dynamics of Generation Z's increasingly transnational identity. Through social media and diaspora support, Gen Z forms a global community that reinforces a collective narrative of seeking a future beyond national borders. Their identities are no longer confined to conventional nationalism, but are continuously negotiated through cross-border interactions and diasporic experiences. This research concludes that #KaburAjaDulu is not just a temporary trend, but a reflection of the transformation of youth identity in the era of globalization and digitalization. The findings highlight the importance of policies that are more inclusive and responsive to the needs of the younger generation so that they not only become global actors, but also still feel a sense of belonging and want to build the homeland.
