This research analyzes the strategies and collaboration between guidance and counseling teachers and homeroom teachers in addressing problematic students at SMP Negeri 4 Medan. The background of this study highlights the importance of guidance and counseling services in supporting students’ personal and social development, especially during the critical transition period in junior high school. However, the implementation of these services often encounters obstacles such as negative perceptions, lack of formal guidelines, and professional challenges. Using a qualitative descriptive method through interviews, observations, and documentation, the research reveals that effective strategies include building positive relationships, early detection, preventive and curative interventions, and open communication with parents. The synergy between guidance and counseling teachers and homeroom teachers, through regular information exchange and coordinated intervention planning, significantly improves the management of problematic students. Nevertheless, challenges such as limited time, differences in role perceptions, and lack of structured communication forums still hinder optimal collaboration. The study concludes that comprehensive and coordinated collaboration is essential for effective management of student problems in schools.

This study aims to explore teachers' perceptions of challenges in the learning process for deaf students at SLB PGRI Kamal, Bangkalan. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that teachers face challenges in the form of students' difficulties in understanding instruction, limited communication, and lack of pedagogical competence of teachers in special education. In response, teachers apply adaptive strategies such as the use of sign language, visual media, simplification of materials, and an individualized approach. The support of the school environment, such as conducive learning spaces and cooperation between teachers, also strengthens the effectiveness of learning. Teachers consider learning to be quite effective, especially for students who get emotional support and visual learning. This study recommends continuous training for teachers and strengthening cooperation between schools and parents to improve the quality of education for deaf students.    

This study aims to analyze the personality competence of ninth-grade teachers at SMP Negeri 23 Medan based on students' perceptions. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through observation and in-depth interviews involving nine purposively selected students. The findings reveal that most teachers demonstrated basic aspects of personality competence, such as punctuality and responsibility. However, several issues were identified, including emotional instability in handling classroom situations, favoritism, and the use of physical punishment as a disciplinary method. These findings indicate that teachers' personality competence still needs improvement, particularly in emotional regulation, fairness, and role modeling. The study recommends structured and continuous personality development programs for teachers to foster a positive classroom environment and support students' character development.    

According to data from the Central Java Social Welfare Service in 2006, it was recorded that 608,000 people experienced stress. UKK is one of the graduation requirements that is often a source of stress for vocational high school students, the perception that causes stress in students before the skills competency test (UKK) occurs in students at SMK Putra Jaya Center Batam, as many as 36 class XII KPR students admitted to experiencing academic stress before UKK, this study was conducted to determine how students perceive stress experienced by students before the competency test at SMK Putra Jaya Center Batam. The sampling technique used was Purposive sampling with 36 respondents. The results of the study obtained several themes, namely: 1) Student perceptions that consider UKK to be something that has a negative impact, has a stressful impact and also a self-defense mechanism before UKK. 2) Stress in students affects 2 aspects of each individual, namely Physiological and Psychological Aspects. The results of the study showed that students' perceptions of UKK as pressure that has a negative impact. Students' perceptions regarding stress experienced before UKK are negative perceptions of students that arise due to students' assessments or understandings that assume that UKK is a threat and pressure on students. This perception causes negative changes, namely that students experience physical stress and psychological stress.

The interest of PPAk students in obtaining Chartered Accountant (CA) certification can enhance their competitiveness and marketability in the workforce by providing additional evidence of competence beyond academic degrees, with the quality and expertise they possess. This research aims to determine the influence of understanding levels, career perceptions, and quality motivation on the interest of PPAk students in pursuing CA certification. The study was conducted at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, as the best state university in Bali that offers a PPAk study program with quality graduate students, with a sample of 78 PPAk students selected using non-probability sampling method with saturated sampling technique. This research proves that, based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, the level of understanding regarding students career perceptions affects the interest of PPAk students in pursuing CA certification. Maslow's theory can be used as a basis for understanding the influence of motivating factors for PPAk students regarding CA certification. The Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University can benefit from this research by better understanding how understanding levels, career perceptions, and quality motivation affect PPAk students' interest in pursuing CA certification. This information can then be used to assess the factors influencing PPAk students' interest.  According to this study, PPAk students' interest in obtaining CA certification is positively and significantly impacted by their comprehension levels, career perceptions, and quality motivation.

This study explores the stereotypes and prejudices held by Javanese students toward the Madurese ethnic group at the University of Trunojoyo Madura. Communication, as a fundamental social need, plays a crucial role in building relationships and understanding emotions. In the context of intercultural communication, differences in social and cultural backgrounds can trigger stereotypes that negatively affect interactions. To understand the perspectives of Javanese students in forming stereotypes about the Madurese, this research applies Standpoint Theory, which emphasizes that a person’s viewpoint is shaped by their social position and life experiences. This study employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological paradigm, collecting data through in-depth interviews and observation. The findings reveal that Javanese students tend to perceive Madurese people as speaking harshly, although some acknowledge that such perceptions do not represent the entire ethnic group. E-Learning media is an innovation that has made a huge contribution to changes in the learning process, the contribution in question is the role of E-Learning as a supplement, complement and substitute in learning activities. This research aims to determine the use and utilization of E-learning at UMLA. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross sectional design. The research sample consisted of 220 UMLA students in semesters 2, 4 and 6, taken using the random sampling method. This research was tested with a questionnaire on the use of E-learning media which was validated with SPSS. Overall, the results showed satisfaction with students' perceptions of E-learning with a total score of 78.2%. The mean value of the satisfaction level component shows good results on student perceptions of the use of E-learning. The use of E-learning media by students is categorized as satisfied. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of E-learning as a learning medium is categorized as satisfactory, which can be seen from the research results with 5 indicators in the satisfied category.  

Fans of noodle food among young people are increasing every year because consumers without seeing the risk of fast food that is often consumed every day will cause disease. The emergence of this research is to develop innovative judes persea noodles where the raw material of the product is made from avocado leaves and does not use preservatives so that it can be said to be healthy food. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, which aims to understand consumer perceptions and buying interest in the innovation of healthy spicy noodles made from avocado leaves. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, including interviews with various groups such as teenagers, students, housewives, and healthy culinary actors. The results showed that the innovation of healthy spicy noodles made from avocado leaves has the potential to be accepted by the market because it contains bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, and saponins that function as antioxidants and antibacterials, and can increase the nutritional value and durability of the product naturally. In addition, consumer perception and buying interest in this product is quite high, supported by effective marketing strategies and the use of local natural ingredients. The purpose of this study was to examine how elementary school teachers perceive the use of digital learning resources in their lesson plans. Digital technology has many potentials to enhance students’ learning ability and engagement. This study combined case study methodology with qualitative approach. Interviews with several elementary school teachers were used to collect data. The results of the study showed that teachers have different opinions about digital learning resources. To deliver materials, increase students’ enthusiasm for learning, and provide a variety of learning materials, some educators viewed digital media as an interesting and successful medium. They also understood how important it is to incorporate technology into the current curriculum. However, other teachers expressed concerns about inadequate infrastructure as well. This study underlines the need for ongoing assistance in the form of instruction, provision of sufficient resources, and creation of a successful plan to integrate digital learning materials in elementary schools.

Canva learning media is an online learning platform for graphic design in various creative designs to facilitate its users such as designing posters, infographics and presentations. Not only for designing but can be used as a learning medium for teachers, students and schools in classroom learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of perceptions on the use of Canva interactive media and students' learning interests on students' Mathematics learning outcomes at SMPN 2 Cianjur. This study uses a Quantitative Approach with the Survey method. The research design used is multiple linear regression analysis. The research sample was 35 students at SMPN 2 Cianjur. Based on the results of the research data analysis, 76% of responses were obtained based on the questionnaire distributed, respondents agreed that there was an influence of perceptions on the use of Canva interactive media and students' learning interests on mathematics learning outcomes.

Speaking is an essential skill for learners of any foreign language, and English is no exception. However, many English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners experience significant challenges when it comes to speaking skills. This study aims to explore the views of students regarding the difficulties they face in speaking English and to identify potential solutions to these challenges. A case study method was employed, involving twenty-seven university students from Indonesia. The data were collected using questionnaires, which allowed the researchers to gather insights into students' perceptions and experiences with speaking English. The results revealed that the majority of participants, 71.6%, reported facing common difficulties such as the fear of making mistakes, fear of criticism, and general shyness. These emotional barriers significantly hindered their ability to speak confidently in class. Additionally, only 18.5% of the students actively participated in speaking activities during lessons, indicating a lack of engagement in oral communication. A significant number of students (96.3%) felt that they lacked sufficient knowledge of the subject matter, further impeding their ability to speak effectively. Moreover, 81.5% of the students admitted that they preferred to use their mother tongue, which they often spoke during English classes, as it was easier for them. These findings suggest that both emotional and knowledge-related issues play a crucial role in shaping the speaking abilities of EFL learners. The study highlights the need for targeted interventions that address both the emotional barriers and knowledge gaps in order to improve the speaking skills of EFL students.

This research reviews Christian theological views towards LGBT, highlighting the conflict between religious beliefs and tolerance towards the LGBT community. In the context of theology students, there are interesting differences of opinion around this issue, with some opposing and others supporting. Nevertheless, this research emphasizes the importance of avoiding judgmental and condemnatory attitudes, and encouraging theology students to become agents of change who promote inclusion and understanding of LGBT people in society. Given the complexity of the views expressed, this article provides in-depth insight into how Christian theology and theology students interact with LGBT issues.

This study aims to examine the application of varied learning methods in Pancasila Education subjects in grade 1 of SD Negeri Cipaku 2 Bogor City. The research was conducted with a descriptive approach through observation, questionnaire distribution, and document analysis. The results show that the application of differentiation strategies—including content, processes, and products—is able to increase students' enthusiasm and involvement in learning activities. Teachers first conduct diagnostic tests to map students' learning interests and needs before developing appropriate teaching methods. The students' response to learning was very positive, and the teacher felt that the strategies implemented successfully met their needs and interests. The main challenge in differentiated learning is to change the perception of students who think that the learning process is uniform. To overcome this, teachers provide an understanding that different methods are not forms of discrimination, but rather ways to adapt learning to individual needs. These findings indicate that the differentiation approach is effective in increasing the effectiveness of learning and student involvement in understanding Pancasila Education.

Many people utilize social media to interact, including students who are the most technologically literate. Apart from having a positive impact on its users, social media also has a negative impact. One of the negative impacts of social media is the increased risk of personal data security. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of awareness of students in Yogyakarta regarding the protection of personal data on social media. The method used is mixed method, surveys were distributed to respondents, namely students from various schools in Yogyakarta. Researchers also conducted interviews with 15 participants to get a more in-depth picture. This research examines the level of understanding and awareness of students in Yogyakarta regarding how they understand data sharing behavior, privacy settings and their perceptions of threats or risks in cyberspace. The results showed that the majority of students have a high level of awareness regarding basic privacy measures, but they also have a poor understanding of the threats and risks associated with sharing personal data.The majority of students rarely update their privacy settings. They only use the default settings built into social media. The implication of the study is the need to integrate digital literacy programs that focus on data security and privacy into the school curriculum. The conclusion is that there is awareness among students regarding the importance of protecting personal data, but more efforts are needed to improve students' knowledge in digital privacy management. Further research is needed to assess the long-term impact of educational interventions on privacy-conscious behavior in the digital world.

This research is motivated by the phenomenon that there are still students who do not understand premarital sexual behavior. It can be seen that there are students who hold hands with the opposite sex, there are students who are alone with the opposite sex in public places in school uniforms. The purpose of this study is to describe students' perceptions of premarital sexual behavior and describe the guidance obtained at school. The population in this study consisted of all X and XI grade students at SMK Negeri 1 Padang Panjang in the 2024/2025 school year, totaling 681 people. The research sample amounted to 253 students selected through stratified random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by distributing instruments in the form of questionnaires measuring students' perceptions of premarital sexual behavior and guidance obtained at school. The results showed that (1) students' perceptions of premarital sexual behavior at SMK Negeri 1 Padang Panjang were generally in the good category (2) the guidance obtained at school was generally in the very good category. Based on the results of this study, counseling teachers can maintain and improve the quality of services that have been provided to prevent the emergence of premarital sexual behavior among students. This effort can be done through the provision of information services, individual counseling, and group guidance that specifically discusses topics regarding premarital sexual behavior.

This study was aimed to look into students’ perception of using English movie in increasing listening skills. This study was quantitative research with using survey design. The survey was a way to collect the data how students perceived the use of English movie in listening classroom. Ten questionnaires were distributed to 28 students of second grade level at Lab School Unsyiah. The obtained data was analyzed descriptively based on students’ frequency. The result of this study showed majority of students felt positive with the use of English movie in developing the listening ability. The use of English movie in listening class assist students to learn and understand the speaker are saying. Therefore, the use of English movie was the preference media in learning English particularly to improve students’ listening skills.

This study investigates teachers' views on utilizing graphic media to enhance the speaking abilities of elementary school students. Employing a qualitative approach with a literature review, the study analyzes various journals, books, and relevant scientific articles. Findings reveal that teachers generally hold a favorable attitude toward graphic media, as it helps simplify material comprehension and motivates students to engage more actively in speaking activities. Nonetheless, challenges remain, including limited access to resources and insufficient technological skills. The discussion highlights the necessity of providing teacher training and institutional support to maximize the use of graphic media. In summary, graphic media proves to be an effective tool for improving speaking skills when combined with appropriate strategies and adequate teacher expertise.  

This study aims to analyze teachers' perceptions of the implementation of the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) at SD IT Adzkia 3 Padang. The research is motivated by differences in teachers' perceptions of P5 and the fact that P5 is a new initiative in Indonesia's educational curriculum, designed to integrate the values of Pancasila into students' character through a project-based approach. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The data analysis technique used in this research involves data collection, reduction, display, and verification. The research subjects consist of teachers directly involved in the implementation of P5 at the school. The results of the study indicate that most teachers have a good understanding of the goals and importance of P5 in shaping students' character in line with Pancasila values. However, some teachers have yet to fully comprehend P5, with several issues identified, such as inconsistencies in the implementation of P5 in classrooms, excessive administrative burdens, and a lack of information regarding P5. The study concludes that teachers need to improve their time management and learning to address these challenges. Additionally, stronger support from the school and government.

Communication strategy is the planning and management done to achieve a particular goal. This study focuses on three research questions: 1. What is the perception of outstanding students in developing communication skills? 2. What is the strategy of outstanding students in developing communication skills? 3. What are the opportunities and challenges faced by outstanding students in building communication skills? The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques employed include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the perception of outstanding students in developing communication skills includes: 1. Learning through practice, and 2. Having both introverted and extroverted traits. The strategies of outstanding students in developing communication skills include: 1. Recognizing the audience, 2. Non-verbal communication, 3. Joining interest groups, 4. Applying the "rule of three" technique, 5. Participating in public speaking activities, 6. Finding examples of communication from great figures, 7. Communicating every day and evaluating. The opportunities and challenges of outstanding students in building communication skills include: 1. Group communication, and the challenge of adapting (both internal and external)

This study aims to analyze the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at SD Negeri 060857 through interviews with the principal, teachers, and students. The main focus includes aspects of adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of school facility management in supporting learning. The interview instrument for the principal focuses on strategic planning, evaluation, and technology integration in management. For teachers, it focuses on perceptions of the adequacy of facilities and involvement in the managerial process. Meanwhile, for students, the interview explores direct experiences of the comfort and quality of the available facilities. The results of the study are expected to provide a holistic picture as a basis for improving the management of facilities and infrastructure to be more planned, efficient, and sustainable in supporting quality education.
