The development of social media has brought significant changes in how individuals perceive themselves, especially among female university students who are in the stage of identity formation. Social media is not only used as a communication tool but also as a space that presents homogeneous beauty standards which can influence self-perception. This study aims to analyze the construction of beauty standards on social media and their impact on female students’ self-perception. The research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method by analyzing 20  relevant academic articles published between 2020 and 2025. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that beauty standards on social media are constructed through repeated visual representations and reinforced by algorithmic systems, creating an idealized image of beauty. This condition encourages female students to engage in social comparison, leading to self-dissatisfaction and decreased self-confidence. However, these effects vary depending on individuals’ ability to filter and interpret information. This study highlights the importance of developing critical awareness in social media use to avoid being influenced by unrealistic beauty standards.

This final work is a digital painting work that raises the concept of a shell as a metaphor for a house where a house is not only a physical structure but also something built within oneself. Like a shell that a snail always carries, the shell becomes a house as a form of protection so that the snail will feel safe wherever it is. By making a snail shell as a metaphor for a house, it can remind how important the figure of the house is in this digital painting work. The creation of this work follows the method proposed in the art consortium which consists of five stages of creation. These stages include preparation, elaboration, synthesis, realization of the concept, and completion. From all these stages, 10 digital painting works were produced which were then printed, including those with the titles: "Regenerasi", "Bound by Time Draw By Life", "Resiliensi", "Metamarfosis Waktu", "Harga Yang Harus Dibayar", "Meleleh", "Ambang", "Imobilitas", "Dialektika Meteorik", "Bound by Shelter".

This study aims to analyze the budgeting activities of the Surabaya City Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Control and Family Planning Agency (DP3A-PPKB) in supporting stunting reduction, while evaluating policy effectiveness, efficiency, responsiveness, and accuracy through William N. Dunn's evaluation framework. A qualitative case study design was utilized, supported by document analysis of planning records, budget realizations, and stunting prevalence data from 2019–2024. Findings reveal that DP3A's budget allocation aligns with the regional development plan and facilitates family-based sensitive interventions. Despite the first-quarter 2025 realization reaching only 9.5% of the total IDR 58.3 billion, strategic programs persisted through cross-sectoral collaboration and adaptive implementation strategies involving multiple stakeholders. The study concludes that DP3A's contributions are indirect, contingent on inter-organizational synergy among regional apparatus units (OPD). Ultimately, stunting reduction success hinges not on budget magnitude alone, but on systemic integration, policy coordination, and sustained collaborative governance across sectors. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening institutional networks to improve program effectiveness and long-term nutritional outcomes for children.

Artificial intelligence has the potential to support radiology workflows by assisting in the identification of cases that may require additional clinical attention. However, alert-oriented medical AI systems should provide not only classification outputs but also interpretable evidence that can be reviewed and audited by clinicians. This study develops and evaluates an explainable multimodal framework for binary chest X-ray alert classification using paired radiology reports and chest X-ray images. The text branch employs TF-IDF n-gram features with a class-balanced Logistic Regression classifier, while the image branch fine-tunes a pretrained ResNet18 model. The two branches are integrated through probability-level late fusion using a validation-selected fusion weight. Explainability is implemented in a modality-specific manner: global coefficient analysis is used to identify influential textual cues, while Grad-CAM heatmaps are used to visualize salient image regions. Experiments were conducted on paired samples from the Open-i/IU X-Ray dataset using text-only, image-only, and fusion-based evaluation settings. Additional analyses include case-level complementarity analysis, bootstrap confidence intervals for ROC-AUC, shortcut-feature inspection, and qualitative Grad-CAM auditing. The results indicate that the text modality provides the dominant predictive signal under the current proxy-label setting. Late fusion produced a small descriptive improvement on the test set, increasing accuracy from 0.8533 to 0.8667, F1-score from 0.8817 to 0.8936, and ROC-AUC from 0.8936 to 0.9025 compared with the text-only baseline. However, the observed ROC-AUC improvement was not statistically conclusive based on bootstrap analysis. These findings suggest that the proposed framework is useful as a reproducible and auditable multimodal prototype, while also highlighting important limitations, including proxy-label ambiguity, potential label leakage from radiology reports, limited image-branch contribution, lack of external validation, and the need for stronger explanation and calibration assessment.

This research is very important to understand more deeply about the Islamic-based multicultural education approach in forming a character of tolerance, as well as how to apply this approach in the educational environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of literature study (library research). This approach is used to examine in depth the concept of multicultural education in an Islamic perspective and introduce it in forming the character of tolerance of students through the analysis of various relevant library sources. Multicultural education basically aims to create a harmonious society through an educational process that respects differences and eliminates discrimination. In this case, multicultural education is a strategic solution because it does not only focus on cognitive aspects, but also on the formation of social attitudes, such as tolerance, empathy, and inclusive attitudes. In its implementation, multicultural education aims to enable students to appreciate differences, foster a tolerant attitude, and strengthen national identity within the framework of diversity. Therefore, the application of multicultural education needs to continue to be developed optimally in the education system in order to create a harmonious, inclusive, and character-based learning enviroment.

Culture shock is a phenomenon commonly experienced by individuals who encounter unfamiliar cultural environments, including children. This phenomenon is represented in the picture book The Way We Do It in Japan through the experiences of Gregory, an Asian-American child who moves from America to Japan and faces cultural differences in daily life. This study aims to analyze the representation of cultural differences between Japan and America and to examine the stages of culture shock experienced by Gregory throughout the story. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method using textual and visual analysis of the picture book. The analysis applies Oberg’s (1960) concept of culture shock and Pedersen’s (1995) stages of culture shock, including the honeymoon, disintegration, reintegration, autonomy, and interdependence stages. The findings reveal that differences in language, social norms, daily habits, and school practices become the main triggers of Gregory’s culture shock. His experiences develop dynamically from curiosity and confusion to gradual adaptation and cultural acceptance. These experiences also contribute to Gregory’s emotional growth, adaptability, and ability to understand cultural differences more objectively. Therefore, this study highlights the important role of children’s literature in promoting intercultural understanding, empathy, and awareness of cultural diversity among young readers.
