Community service (PkM) is an activity carried out by FKIP students at HKBP Nommensen University, Medan, together with their supervisors, which aims to develop students in increasing their abilities and independence in society. The application of the Canva application is a platform that can design graphics, visual and audio themes that are used by students to design learning, especially in writing, increase digital literacy and creativity, design photos, posters, logos, banners with the available features. The Canva application is very easy to use and can be accessed via an application downloaded on a device or laptop and can also be accessed via the official website which students can use during learning training activities which can provide ideas and motivation in literacy-based learning which is used to be carried out. training for students at SMA Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru in increasing digital literacy and learning creativity through the use of the Canva application. Based on the results of implementing community service, the author concludes that the Pkm activities went well and received a good response from the Kutalimbaru State High School so that students were able to use the Canva application media so that students were more active in the learning process.

The Teaching Campus is one of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programs which aims to be a learning platform that provides opportunities for students throughout Indonesia to study outside campus for one semester to practice their skills and explore the interests and talents they already have. This research aims to implement a collaborative learning model through the Class 6 Teaching Campus program at SMPN 5 Tanggul. The collaborative learning model is implemented with the aim of increasing interaction between students and developing critical thinking and collaboration skills. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach through observation, interviews and documentation. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the collaborative learning model through the Class 6 Teaching Campus program at SMPN 5 Tanggul can be an effective alternative in improving the quality of learning in secondary schools. This research contributes to the development of collaborative learning methods and provides recommendations for related parties to continue and develop this program further.

The Teaching Campus embodies part of the educational learning program in basic education units, the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) activity, which provides students with classroom learning experiences by partnering with educators in learning methods in primary and secondary education units. In other words, the Teaching Campus activities realize the Independent Campus goal by providing opportunities for students to learn and grow through programs outside the classroom. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Qualitative research is an analysis carried out to find out and describe existing events and evidence by describing them in the form of data, images and text. Basic education embodies the basic education phase for children aged 6 to 12 years which is developed according to educational units, basic expectations and social culture. Students from Muhammadiyah University and Jember University Jember who are studying for the Class 6 Teaching Campus Program are currently undergoing a number of work programs. One of them is related to literacy and numeracy in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) SDN Menampu 02 education unit.

Understanding interpersonal communication is not easy, especially when communicating with children under the age of 9, namely 1st grade elementary school students. Several teachers will encounter numerous challenges and obstacles in delivering teaching materials effectively to 1st grade students. This research aims to explore interpersonal communication between teachers and students in the learning process of first-grade Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Hidayah Bekasi, as well as identifying inhibiting factors in interpersonal communication between teachers and students in the first-grade class. The study is conducted through a case study approach and employs qualitative research methods. The research findings indicate that interpersonal communication between teachers and first-grade students is effective. Teachers actively apply interpersonal communication in the classroom to enhance skills and assist students in understanding learning materials. However, hindering factors in the communication process include sender message barriers, receiver message barriers, and psychological barriers. Educators are required to be creative in presenting materials to prevent students from feeling bored and uninterested.

In Indonesia, the main focus of current education reform efforts is the Merdeka Curriculum. Mathematics is one of the subjects that has undergone many changes, especially at the elementary school (SD) level. This study investigates the impact and challenges that arise when implementing Merdeka Curriculum in mathematics learning at the primary level. The purpose of this study is to provide insights and details regarding the challenges associated with learning mathematics. This research uses a qualitative descriptive methodology that combines two methods to explore information at SDN 012 Babakan Ciparay, Bandung City, which leads to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research results obtained in this study found that there were difficulties in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in students as well as teaching staff, especially in the application of mathematics learning. However, this does not significantly affect the effectiveness of learning and the interest of students and teaching staff.

The main concern addressed in this research is whether implementing a directive teaching approach influences the enhancement of fundamental dribbling skills using the back foot in soccer among students at Senduk Christian Junior High School. The study employed an experimental design, dividing 20 participants into two groups of 10 each, and utilized a randomized controlled pre-test and post-test design. The assessment tool employed evaluated the proficiency in basic dribbling techniques using the top of the foot during soccer matches. The hypothesis posited that employing a directive teaching style would impact the learning of fundamental dribbling techniques using the sole of the foot in soccer among students at Senduk Christian Junior High School. Data analysis involved the use of the t-test, preceded by tests for data variance homogeneity and normality. The hypothesis suggested that employing a directive teaching style influences the acquisition of basic dribbling skills among Senduk Christian Junior High School students. The study concluded that utilizing a directive teaching style indeed contributes to the improvement of basic dribbling skills using the sole of the foot in soccer matches among students at Senduk Christian Junior High School. This was supported by a calculated t-value exceeding the critical t-value, where t-value = 4.891 > critical t-value = 2.101.

The Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the quality of education in Desa Rumah Gerat, Kecamatan Si Biru-Biru, through a participatory approach to teaching and learning. The participatory approach involves students, and the community as active participants in the learning process. The PKM program was conducted from February 3 to 29, 2024, using various learning methods that involve information technology. The results of the program showed an increase in reading and numeracy skills in Kindergarten (TK), Elementary School (SD), and Junior High School (SMP) students after the tutoring program. This program is expected to help students in Desa Rumah Gerat obtain better education and contribute to village development

This community service activity through mentoring and fostering Qur'an literacy activities is important in supporting the development of one's Qur'an literacy skills. Research and field practice show that ongoing effective mentoring can help children to gain a better understanding of the content of the Qur'an. The main focus of this mentoring and guidance is to improve the ability to read and write the Qur'an thoroughly and accurately, as well as ensure a deep understanding of the meaning and context of the verses of the Qur'an. This mentoring and coaching involves various methods and techniques, such as the use of interactive approaches, repetitive exercises, the use of educational technology, and the strengthening of tajweed skills. The ultimate goal of this mentoring and coaching is to create a learning environment that supports, motivates, and strengthens the individual's spiritual connection with the Qur'an, thus fostering continuous personal growth and strong character development in accordance with Islamic teachings

Technology is a part of human life. Technology contributes to the development of society and helps people's daily lives. Nowadays students spend more time with their cell phones. Learning media in the field of technology that can be used in the teaching and learning process is the quiz on the Quizizz 'Mastery Peak' application because it can replace the traditional method of using paper and pen. On the other hand, traditional learning methods in the form of written tests that still use paper and pen have positive effects, for example students can complete their work more efficiently. In the world of education, especially in English subjects, students study various genres of text, one of which is studying analytical exposition text in class X SMA Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a correlation between Quizizz 'Mastery Peak' scores and written test scores in understanding analytical exposition texts of grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The sample in this study amounted to 40 people using purposive sampling technique. The method used in this research is quantitative correlation. Data analysis technique using correlation test obtained significance number of 0.535, where 0.535 > 0.05 then H0 is accepted Ha is rejected. This means that there is no correlation between Quizizz 'Mastery Peak' scores and students' written test scores in understanding analytical exposition text.

This research focuses on the development of interactive learning materials to enhance the understanding of fourth-grade elementary school students regarding rounding. Pre-tests and post-tests were conducted on the experimental group to measure its effectiveness. The objectives of this study are (1) to develop teaching materials using a clothing measuring tape and (2) to analyze the differences in learning outcomes between students using this media and conventional methods in the 4A and 4C classes at SDPN 252 Setiabudhi. The data analysis activities involve processing the data and applying statistical analysis. The results indicate a lack of significant improvement in students' understanding of rounding concepts after the implementation of interactive teaching materials. Statistical analysis shows that the average scores on the post-test did not exhibit a significant increase compared to the pre-test. In conclusion, the teaching method using a clothing measuring tape is less effective when applied to 4A and 4C students at SDPN 252 Setiabudhi.

However, the reality on the ground shows that Al-Qur'an teaching does not receive adequate time allocation in the curriculum, causing many students to have difficulty reading and writing the Qur'an. The Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing (BTQ) program using the tahsin tutoring method is a solution with a significant impact that can be felt. This research uses the PAR (Participatory Action Research) research method, which is defined as researchers participating and taking action directly in community service activities. This research is a Community Service Activity which aims to help students and teachers at SDN Wanawali overcome the problem of learning the Al-Qur'an. Using the Tahsin Tutoring method, as part of the Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing Program. This research includes the stages of location survey, observation, planning, implementation and evaluation. The subjects of this research were students in grades 5 and 6 of SDN Wanawali, Cibatu District, Purwakarta Regency, starting on 16 – 23 February 2024. The research results showed that Tahsin Tutoring activities succeeded in increasing students' enthusiasm in learning to read, write and memorize the Al-Qur'an. The Iqra book sorogan method, short surah reading tests, and memorization quizzes provide an interactive and interesting learning experience. Grade 5 and 6 students showed improvements in Al-Qur'an skills, while PAIBP teachers at SDN Wanawali became more creative in delivering learning material.

The purpose of this study is to determine how the Free Curriculum learning planning that has not been implemented in the 9th-grade class of SMP Nurul Amal Palembang. This research is a field study with a qualitative research approach. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involve data collection, data presentation, and data verification stages. The informants in this study are the school principal, vice principal, teachers, and students. The results of this study show that SMP Nurul Amal Palembang has already implemented planning for Free Curriculum learning in the current era. The planning prepared by teachers includes the preparation of modules as a reference for conducting teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The school has also begun implementing the Free Curriculum and has conducted trials by applying it in classes VII and VIII, while class IX still uses the 2013 Curriculum.

The PkM (Community Service) Lecture Program with the title "Using the Wordwall Website as a Learning Media to Increase Student Learning Motivation at Bima Utomo BS Vocational School" is carried out by prioritizing how to use the wordwall website, especially for teachers or teaching staff at Bima Utomo BS Vocational School with the main aim increase student learning motivation and make it easier for teachers to deliver learning material. The results of the implementation of Community Service at BIMA UTOMO BS Vocational School, Sidodadi Village, Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra which was carried out from February 5 - February 27 2024, the team was able to adapt well so that a cooperative relationship was established between the school, students and students, teachers are able to use wordwall media as an interactive learning media for the continuity of teaching and learning activities, socialize the use of wordwall media as an interactive learning media, provide contributions in the form of assistance to the school regarding administration and students feel motivated by the existence of interactive learning media.

Integrative learning is a study that contains more than one subject into a particular learning theme, so that it can provide students with experience in the learning process by using a field of study approach. The integrative learning process can be seen in aspects such as the time aspect and learning process, curriculum aspects and teaching aspects. Based on the results of observations that have been made, students' motivation and interest in learning is low. This is shown by students' lack of enthusiasm in participating in learning due to monotonous learning, teachers still using a dictation system and the provision of learning tools being inadequate so that the learning process feels saturated and boring. Therefore, the activity of implementing this integrative learning model requires students to be more active than the teacher who is the guide in the learning process. As for the steps that must be taken in this learning activity, students must interact with the learning material and must interact with learning resources so that they can easily master the concepts and indices in the integrative learning process.

In this context, the teacher's role consists of a variety of actions that include assistance, encouragement, responsibility, and classroom management skills. As a class leader, the teacher is responsible for organizing a conducive learning process. They prepare teaching materials, organize classrooms, and use appropriate learning media to enhance students' skills. Not only that, teachers also act as motivators that encourage students to develop their potential. At PAUD Rehobot Seed Cikeas Bogor, the application of the teacher's role in classroom management has had a positive impact. Teachers pay attention to the obstacles that students face individually, give personal attention, and organize additional learning sessions after formal lessons. They use a variety of learning media, including visual audio, to enrich the student's learning experience. In addition, teachers also play an active role in advising and encouraging students to improve their learning performance.The overall role of this teacher is not only limited to the formal aspects of learning, but also includes a deep personal relationship with the student. This approach allows the teacher to strengthen moral values and facilitate the student's holistic development.Thus, the role of the teacher in the management of the classroom, inspired by the principles in Hebrews 10:24-25, not only optimizes the formal learning-teaching process, but also enriches personal interaction and values in education in PAUD Rehobot Seed Cikeas Bogor.

This paper discusses the importance of using educational gaming applications to enhance adolescent learning at GGP Sanggabuana. In this era of rapid technological advancement, educational gaming applications have become an innovative solution to facilitate interactive and enjoyable learning for children. The benefits of using these applications include increased interest in learning, reinforcement of teaching through visual and auditory interaction, facilitation of self-directed learning, provision of instant feedback, and reinforcement of positive collaboration and competition. The steps for implementing educational gaming applications at GGP Sanggabuana include needs assessment, application development, training and mentoring, integration with the curriculum, monitoring and evaluation, and collaboration with parents. By involving all stakeholders, educational gaming applications can be optimized in enhancing children's interest and effectiveness in learning within the context of religious education. However, it is important to conduct further research and evaluation on the effectiveness and benefits of educational gaming applications in adolescent learning. This is necessary to continue developing and improving the quality of applications, so that children's learning experiences can further enhance their understanding of religious and moral values. With the existence of educational gaming applications, it is hoped that children can experience more engaging, interactive, and meaningful learning experiences in the context of adolescence at GGP Sanggabuana.

Islamic education holds a strategic position in shaping students’ moral character and social attitudes within multicultural societies. However, Islamic educational curricula are frequently perceived as prioritizing normative-textual transmission and doctrinal compliance, leaving limited room for interfaith dialogue and the cultivation of inclusive dispositions. This study critically assesses Islamic educational curriculum orientations and examines how sharia-based moral pedagogy can foster interfaith tolerance among students. The study also responds to the limited empirical linkage between sharia moral education and measurable developments in tolerance, inclusivity, and dialogic competence in Islamic schooling contexts. Using a qualitative design with descriptive-critical analysis, the research draws on curriculum document analysis and classroom observations across several Islamic educational institutions. Data are analyzed thematically to identify how three key curricular dimensions-akhlak (ethical conduct), maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah (higher moral objectives), and Islamic civilization history-are embedded and enacted in teaching practices, as well as how these elements shape students’ attitudes toward religious difference. The results indicate that akhlak-centered learning supports empathy, mutual respect, and non-discriminatory behavior by framing morality as lived practice rather than abstract instruction. Integrating maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah strengthens students’ inclusive orientation by emphasizing public good, justice, and human dignity as guiding principles for social relations. Additionally, teaching Islamic civilization history-especially narratives of coexistence-enhances students’ awareness of interfaith engagement and positions dialogue as compatible with Islamic identity. A comparative analysis suggests that sharia-based moral pedagogy is more effective than normative-textual curricula in building tolerant and inclusive student dispositions, mainly because it enables reflective learning, contextual moral reasoning, and dialogic interaction.

In the current digital era, understanding the nature of adolescents becomes crucial considering the influence of technology affecting their character development. The formation of identity and life purpose in adolescents is influenced by social environment and the Christian values they adopt. The implementation of Quizizz application in teaching at GBI Pelita Imanuel provides an enjoyable interactive experience for students, yet it also demonstrates some limitations, particularly in character development. Evaluation indicates improvement in subject understanding, but additional activities are still needed to strengthen character aspects. Although Quizizz offers benefits in student interaction and comprehension, it should be noted that Christian religious education involves character aspects not fully accommodated by the interactive quiz format. Therefore, a holistic and diverse approach to teaching is still required to develop deep Christian character in adolescents.

This research aims to explore the role of technology in developing the reading skills of class VIII students at SMPN 2 Bone. With rapid technological advances, education is experiencing a significant transformation, including in teaching and learning methods for reading. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to understand the impact of using technology such as educational software, e-books, and interactive reading applications on students' reading abilities. Data was collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis. The results showed that the use of technology significantly increased students' motivation and interest in reading, as well as improving their reading comprehension. Technology allows access to a variety of more interesting and interactive reading materials, which not only improve reading skills but also broaden students' horizons and knowledge. However, this research also found several challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure and the need for training for teachers to utilize technology effectively. In conclusion, technology has great potential in developing students' reading skills, as long as it is implemented with the right strategies and adequate support.
