This study aims to analyze the application of Deep Neural Networks (DNN) as an artificial intelligence approach in processing weather data to support more accurate and stable climate predictions. Increasingly unpredictable and fluctuating weather patterns demand modern analytical methods capable of capturing non-linear relationships among atmospheric variables. DNN is utilized due to its ability to learn complex data structures through multilayer representations that extract deeper features from input variables. Weather data such as temperature, humidity, rainfall, air pressure, and wind speed are processed through several preprocessing stages to ensure optimal model performance. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method based on literature studies to examine the role of DNN in weather prediction systems. The findings indicate that DNN demonstrates strong generalization abilities, robustness to fluctuating data, and more stable predictive outputs compared to conventional statistical approaches. Thus, DNN is considered a promising component for the development of early warning systems and modern data-driven climate analysis, offering improved reliability in understanding and forecasting atmospheric conditions.

This study aims to optimize the architecture of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) for rainfall prediction using meteorological data from Indonesia, which is known for its complex and highly variable climate patterns. Climatic variables such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind speed, and historical rainfall records serve as the main input features to evaluate the performance of various network configurations. Optimization is carried out by determining the appropriate number of neurons, hidden layers, activation functions, and training algorithms to enhance prediction accuracy. Model evaluation employs indicators such as Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) to ensure output stability. The findings indicate that a multilayer architecture combined with optimized parameters significantly improves the network’s ability to capture non-linear patterns in Indonesia’s tropical rainfall data. The optimized model produces more stable and accurate predictions compared to standard configurations. These results highlight the importance of ANN architecture optimization in supporting early warning systems, agricultural planning, water resource management, and hydrometeorological disaster mitigation across Indonesia.

Corporate Restructuring is a method used by companies with the aim of improving and maximizing the performance of a company, so that the company is able to develop, or at least can adapt to the situation faced. There are 4 (four) forms of corporate restructuring, namely: merger, amalgamation, takeover, and separation of the company. The legal consequences of a merger and amalgamation are the same, namely the transfer of assets and liabilities, the transfer of shareholders of the company and the loss of the legal entity status of a company due to the merger and amalgamation. The merger was carried out by 3 banks which later became Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). The merger process has its main source of strength in the form of high asset capital, so that BSI is expected to be able to provide financing services needed by the community

The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the influence of authentic leadership and servant leadership partially and simultaneously on performance of health workers in Batam City. The method used in this research uses a method, namely the type of research used in this research is a quantitative research method. This research uses an analytical tool is SPSS Version 23. The population in this study is all health workers spread across Batam City whose numbers cannot be known and recorded with certainty. The sampling method in this study used accidental sampling technique. By using the Zikmund formula, the final sample size used was 100 people. The results of this research are (1) Authentic leadership partially has a positive and significant effect on performance of health workers, (2) Servant leadership partially has a positive and significant effect on performance of health workers (3) Authentic leadership and servant leadership together or simultaneously have a positive effect and significant to the performance of health workers. The coefficient of determination (adjusted R square) is 0.669 or equal to 66.9%. This figure means that the independent variables consisting of authentic leadership and servant leadership affect performance of health workers variable while the remaining 29.1% of the performance of health workers variable is influenced by other variables not examined in this study

The importance of employee performance accountability in transparent and efficient public financial management, particularly amid the demands for improved public service quality. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors affecting employee performance accountability, namely the regional government accounting system, accounting control, legislation, human resource quality, and reporting systems. The research employs a quantitative methodology with a descriptive approach. A census technique was utilized, where all employees of BPKAD, totaling 51 individuals, were designated as respondents. The data analysis technique employed is multiple regression to determine the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable, which is employee performance accountability. The findings of the study indicate that the regional government accounting system, accounting control, and human resource quality significantly influence employee performance accountability. Conversely, legislation did not show a significant influence, while the reporting system approached the significance threshold. In conclusion, this study emphasizes that improving the quality of the accounting system, internal control, and human resource development is crucial for enhancing employee performance accountability at BPKAD Pekanbaru City. The implications of this research are expected to provide insights for decision-making and improvements in public financial management practices.

This study aims to analyze bad debts on the financial performance of the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Savings and Loan Cooperative. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with data analysis techniques using bad debt analysis and financial performance analysis by measuring financial ratios such as liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of financial statements of the Swasti Sari Saving and Loan Cooperative, Kupang City Branch for a period of 5 years from 2019-2023. The results showed that bad debts at the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Savings and Loan Cooperative were caused by the inability of cooperative members to pay off their obligations so that the cooperative's receivables became difficult to collect and had an impact on the cooperative's financial performance as measured by the liquidity ratio from 2019 to 2023 which decreased because the cooperative's cash decreased and its receivables increased, the Solvency Ratio indicates an increase in risk due to increased debt without balanced asset growth. The Profitability Ratio shows a decrease in net income which affects the operational sustainability of the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Savings and Loan Cooperative. The results of this study provide recommendations for the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Saving and Loan Cooperative in overcoming the risk of bad credit, namely taking a rescheduling, reconditioning, and restructuring approach, applying prudential principles, conducting regular monitoring and monitoring of financial performance and credit risk so that cooperatives can make quick and appropriate decisions to maintain financial stability and operational sustainability.

The maritime sector is critical for global trade and economic development, yet challenges in workforce development persist, particularly in tanker operations handling dry bulk cargo like agricultural products. This research investigates the interplay between recruitment strategies, crew competencies, and ship operational performance, with a focus on PT Sillo Maritime Perdana Tbk, a key player in Indonesia’s offshore shipping sector. Addressing gaps in aligning workforce development with industry demands, this study explores the effectiveness of recruitment practices and competency development within the operational context of this organization. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of recruitment strategies and crew work competencies, individually and collectively, on improving operational performance at PT Sillo Maritime Perdana Tbk. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research employed Statistical Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze quantitative data from 117 participants and conducted thematic analysis of qualitative insights from experts, lecturers, graduates, and head workers. The results revealed that recruitment strategies and crew competencies significantly contribute to operational performance, with a combined positive effect observed. Structured recruitment and ongoing skill development tailored to industry demands were identified as critical. The findings also highlighted the transformative role of educational technology in bridging the gap between academic training and operational realities. The study provides actionable insights for PT Sillo Maritime Perdana Tbk and similar organizations, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to enhance workforce readiness, operational efficiency, and sustainability in maritime activities.

This research aims to analyze the implementation of organizational ethical values in improving performance and organizational maturity at HIQMA UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, focusing on word patterns, thought patterns, and attitude patterns in organizational dynamics. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with HIQMA administrators and members, and organizational document analysis. Informants were selected through purposive sampling, and data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques with validation through data source triangulation. The implementation of organizational ethical values at HIQMA shows positive impacts on three main aspects: (1) increased leadership effectiveness and management performance, (2) strengthening organizational culture through the integration of Islamic values, and (3) development of member professionalism through comprehensive training programs such as Management Upgrading. This research provides a new perspective on integrating Islamic ethical values in student organization development, particularly in organizations focusing on Quranic talent development and Islamic arts. The research results provide a practical framework for student organizations to implement ethical values to improve performance and organizational maturity, including management capacity development strategies and monitoring evaluation systems.

Performance audit is a strategic instrument to strengthen transparency and accountability in the governance of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). However, current practices of BUMDes auditing in Indonesia remain limited, fragmented, and often fail to uphold the principles of good governance. This study aims to identify and synthesize the implementation of performance audits in BUMDes across various regions through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 28 articles published between 2013 and 2024. Sources were obtained from Scopus, DOAJ, Google Scholar, and Garuda, with thematic analysis applied. The study identifies five core issues: weak internal audit mechanisms, limited community participation, low utilization of information technology, cultural resistance, and the role of audits in improving village economic performance. The paper proposes a participatory audit model grounded in local familial values and supported by appropriate digital tools. This hybrid model is contextually suited to promote accountability in rural areas where institutional capacity is limited but social cohesion is strong. Theoretically, this research extends the relevance of stewardship theory and participatory governance to micro-level public sector entities. Policy implications highlight the need for adaptive, community-based audit mechanisms as a foundation for accountable rural development

Bureaucratic reform is a government effort to improve the performance of state apparatus to provide optimal service to the community. This study aims to analyze the implementation of bureaucratic reform policies on the performance of Civil Servants (PNS) at the Pare-Pare City Transportation Agency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of bureaucratic reform at the Pare-Pare City Transportation Agency has gone quite well, but there are still several obstacles such as limited human resources and supporting facilities and infrastructure. The bureaucratic reform policy has proven to have a positive effect on improving the performance of PNS in terms of productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability. Strong commitment from leaders and all employees is needed as well as adequate budget support to optimize the implementation of bureaucratic reform in the future.

Along with the population and economic growth of West Sumatra, especially in Padang Panjang City, West Padang Panjang District, the need for public facilities is urgently needed, one of which is the Padang Panjang market. In a project, planning and controlling costs and time is part of overall project management, especially at the implementation stage of the case study reviewed by researchers, namely the Padang Panjang market building construction project. In this research regarding time and cost control, the earned value method is one method that can monitor project performance in terms of time and cost. Which aims to determine project performance in terms of time and costs each week and predict the time and costs to complete the remaining work. So that we can get corrective actions to be taken next to progress the project. In this research, to obtain a basic basis for writing, secondary data collection is used as supporting data for the analysis of the results themselves. The analysis and discussion carried out were calculating the BCWS value, BCWP value and ACWP value in order to obtain the time variance value (SV), cost variance value (CV), calculating the productivity index, calculating project performance and calculating the estimated analysis of total project costs and completion time. The results of the research carried out are, the overall BCWS value of the Padang Panjang market project is IDR 96,213,315,046.3, for the BCWP value at the end of the 22nd week of review IDR 12,688,575,967, the ACWP value at the end of the 22nd week of review is IDR. 12,389,476,444.2 . As for the analysis results obtained from several existing indicators, the SPI value was 1.384 > 1, while the CPI was 1.003 > 1, which means that the project was accelerated in terms of schedule but incurred actual costs that were smaller than the work that had been carried out. The ETC value is IDR 84,134,151,328.9 and the EAC value is IDR 96,523,627,773.1, while the ECD value is 373 days for the project completion time.

The maritime industry plays a critical role in global trade but faces growing pressure to integrate environmental sustainability into its operations. This research analyzes the industry using the Structure-Conduct-Performance (SCP) framework to understand the relationship between market structure, firm behavior, and both economic and environmental performance. The study provides original value by extending the traditional SCP model to include environmental sustainability, addressing a critical gap in previous research. Key research questions include how market concentration, regulatory compliance, corporate environmental responsibility (CER), and technological innovation affect both profitability and sustainability. Using qualitative data from industry professionals and maritime educators, the analysis highlights that proactive regulatory compliance and high CER commitment drive superior economic and environmental outcomes. Firms that invest in green technologies enjoy enhanced performance, while those prioritizing short-term profits struggle with long-term competitiveness. The results offer practical insights for policymakers and industry leaders, emphasizing the need for inclusive market structures and stronger regulatory frameworks to support sustainability across the sector.

This literature review examines the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) disclosure on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), focusing on market reactions, post-merger integration, and long-term performance. The review reveals that CSR disclosure often leads to positive market reactions, fostering investor confidence and increasing stock prices during M&A announcements. Furthermore, CSR practices contribute to smoother post-merger integration by aligning organizational cultures and fostering trust. Over the long term, companies that integrate CSR into their strategies generally experience enhanced brand value, customer loyalty, and competitive advantage. However, the effectiveness of CSR disclosure depends on its authenticity and strategic alignment with corporate goals. The review also highlights the need for further research in emerging markets and the exploration of qualitative approaches to deepen understanding of CSR’s role in M&A.

This study examines the performance of the Banjarbaru City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) in the recruitment of Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK). Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, this study evaluates performance based on five indicators: productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, and accountability. The results show that although BKPSDM has implemented a merit-based recruitment system through Computer Assisted Test (CAT), several challenges are still faced, such as technical constraints in the online system, limited formation quotas, and applicants' lack of understanding of administrative requirements. The research also identified supporting factors such as the regulatory framework, technology implementation, and the active role of BKPSDM in providing clear information to applicants. Recommendations include strengthening technological infrastructure, expanding socialization, optimizing complaint mechanisms, and proposing additional formation quotas to match regional needs.

Heart disease is one of the biggest causes of death in the world. This research examines the use of the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm to classify heart disease based on 303 medical data of heart disease patients obtained from the Kaggle dataset center. The data used includes medical parameters such as age, gender, blood pressure, cholesterol levels and other examination results. Various ANN architectures were tested to find the optimal configuration in terms of the number of hidden layers and neurons in each layer. Model performance is evaluated using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. From the results of the performance measurement research, an accuracy rate of 97.06%, precision of 92.30%, recall of 92.30%, and F1-Score of 92.30% were obtained.

This research investigates the potential of integrating waste heat recovery and geothermal exchange within district heating systems as a carbon-neutral energy solution tailored to tropical urban settings. Tropical climates present unique challenges for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including high humidity, temperature fluctuations, and increasing energy demands, particularly for cooling. This study aims to address these challenges by proposing a hybrid district heating system that combines renewable energy sources to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. The methodology includes thermal and hydraulic modeling, performance simulation of the hybrid system under tropical climate conditions, and emission and energy efficiency analysis. The results indicate that the hybrid system significantly reduces energy consumption and carbon emissions compared to traditional heating systems, with waste heat recovery optimizing energy use and geothermal exchange enhancing system efficiency. The comparison with conventional systems and other environmentally friendly alternatives reveals that the hybrid system offers a cost-effective, sustainable solution for tropical urban areas. The study concludes that integrating waste heat recovery and geothermal exchange is feasible and can contribute to the creation of carbon-neutral cities. Future research should focus on optimizing geothermal systems in tropical climates and exploring further integration with other renewable energy sources to enhance system performance and sustainability.

Microplastic pollution, particularly from textile waste, has become a significant environmental concern, especially in urban runoff systems. These pollutants pose a considerable threat to water quality, aquatic life, and human health. Traditional wastewater treatment methods often fall short in addressing the complexities of microplastic contamination. This research explores the integration of advanced biodegradable polymer coatings with solar-powered textile waste treatment to reduce microplastic pollution in urban runoff systems. Biodegradable polymers, such as polylactic acid (PLA) and polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), are highlighted for their potential to efficiently filter microplastics while providing an eco-friendly alternative to conventional filtration technologies. By combining these materials with a small solar-powered unit, the prototype enables an off-grid, low-energy solution to treat textile wastewater in urban environments. The study includes testing the prototype in simulated urban runoff conditions with varying concentrations of microplastics, evaluating key performance indicators such as microplastic removal efficiency, energy consumption, and operational sustainability. Results demonstrate a significant reduction in microplastic concentration, indicating the effectiveness of biodegradable polymer coatings and solar-powered systems in treating urban runoff. The discussion addresses the feasibility of using local biodegradable materials, performance in real-world urban environments, and operational challenges such as maintenance and scalability. This innovative approach is compared with existing microplastic filtration methods, such as membrane filtration and adsorption, highlighting its advantages in terms of sustainability and cost-effectiveness. The findings suggest that this integrated system could offer a viable, low-cost solution for addressing microplastic pollution in urban drainage systems, with potential for widespread urban implementation.

The optimization of thread management in operating systems is essential to improve the performance of multithreading-based applications. This study analyzes various techniques to enhance thread management efficiency, including thread pooling, dynamic scheduling, load balancing, and synchronization contention reduction. Experimental results indicate that thread pooling reduces overhead by reusing threads, while dynamic scheduling improves multitasking responsiveness by prioritizing urgent tasks. Load balancing ensures equitable workload distribution across processor cores, minimizing execution time. Furthermore, reducing synchronization contention using mechanisms like semaphores decreases thread waiting time, thereby boosting application performance. These optimizations enable modern operating systems to efficiently utilize multi-core architectures, improving speed, responsiveness, and user experience. This research highlights the importance of thread management optimization as a foundational step towards developing adaptive and scalable operating systems for future complex and data-intensive applications.

Stress and burnout among healthcare workers represent a global crisis with significant implications for psychological and physical health, job performance, and interpersonal skills. These conditions are linked to anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, substance use, poor quality of life, digestive disorders, and cardiovascular diseases. Burnout is characterized by emotional fatigue, depersonalization, and reduced personal accomplishment, often caused by chronic workplace stress. Factors such as demographics, fatigue, and resilience influence its development and severity. Traditional stress management interventions, such as counselling and leave, often prove insufficient in addressing these challenges. Recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) provide innovative tools for stress and burnout management, including mobile applications offering mindfulness, meditation, and self-care resources. AI systems like IBM Watson and Google DeepMind are being tested to enhance accessibility and effectiveness in stress management. Additionally, Stress Inoculation Training (SIT), involving methods such as meditation, yoga, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and biofeedback, has been recognized as a proactive approach to mitigating stress. This review explores the factors contributing to stress and burnout in healthcare workers and evaluates interventions aimed at improving well-being and productivity, emphasizing the potential of AI and SIT in preventing and managing these conditions.
