This community service program at the Class I Correctional Facility SAE L’SIMA Malang was designed to address the urgent need for effective vocational skills development among inmates through productive poultry farming activities. One of the key challenges in poultry farming is the low success rate of egg hatching when relying on conventional, manually operated incubators that often lack precise temperature and humidity control. To overcome this problem, the program introduced the development and implementation of an automatic incubator system as a technological innovation to support both learning and productivity. The program employed a participatory approach, beginning with preliminary site surveys to identify existing resources and limitations within the correctional facility. Subsequently, the team carried out the design and assembly of an automatic egg incubator equipped with a digital system to monitor and regulate temperature and humidity levels. Functional testing was conducted using both chicken and duck eggs to ensure reliability and applicability across different types of poultry. In addition to the incubator prototype, the program also produced a practical user manual to guide inmates in operating and maintaining the equipment independently. The results demonstrated that the automatic incubator significantly improved the hatching success rate compared to traditional manual methods, despite initial challenges such as limited availability of components, restricted funding, and the reliance on outdated manual equipment. The inmates showed high levels of participation and adaptability in learning the operation of the new system, highlighting the potential of this program to enhance not only technical competence but also self-confidence. In conclusion, this initiative successfully integrated vocational training with technological innovation, offering a sustainable and practical solution for small to medium-scale poultry operations. Beyond improving technical skills, the program has broader social implications by equipping inmates with marketable competencies that can support their reintegration into society and contribute to their economic independence after release.

Negative thinking represents a type of cognitive distortion that can negatively impact an individual's mental health and impede their ability to adapt effectively in daily life. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of three cognitive strategies self-talk, reframing, and thought stopping in managing such negative thoughts. Utilizing a qualitative research approach, this study conducted a literature review alongside participatory observation. Data were gathered by analyzing various academic articles, books, and journals focusing on these three techniques in the context of controlling negative thought patterns. Findings reveal that each technique offers unique benefits: self-talk helps in cultivating a more positive internal dialogue, reframing enables individuals to interpret problems from a more constructive angle, and thought stopping effectively halts the recurrence of negative thoughts through conscious intervention. These results indicate that these cognitive techniques can serve as practical psychological interventions for managing negative thinking.

College students, as a group of young adults, often face life transitions that involve academic, emotional, social, and economic pressures. One of the effects of these pressures is smoking behavior. According to pre-survey data, most college students who are active smokers consume 5-10 cigarettes per day. These students admitted to having tried to quit smoking at least once, but their efforts were unsuccessful, and they returned to their old habits. This difficulty indicates challenges in self-control. Participants in this study were active smokers across Indonesia, with a minimum consumption of 5–10 cigarettes per day. This study is quantitative in nature, using a self-control scale and a nicotine dependence scale to determine the absence of self-control influence on nicotine addiction. Data analysis in this study was conducted using simple linear regression analysis, yielding a p-value of 0.070 (>0.05). Adjustment is the ability of an individual to meet personal needs while responding to demands from the environment around them, so that a balance is achieved between the two. This allows individuals to create harmony with the existing reality. In SMA Muhammadiyah 01 Medan, it was found that there were students in class X who showed a low level of adjustment. This study applied the Quasi Experiment method with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The sample involved in this study consisted of 10 students who were divided into two groups, namely 5 students in the experimental group and 5 students in the control group. Based on the results of the statistical test calculations, the t_count value was obtained as much as 7.270, and compared with the t_table at a significance level of 0.05 of 1.812. Since t_count ≥ t_table (7.270 ≥ 1.812) and the significance value (2-tailed) is less than 0.005 (0.000 ≤ 0.005), Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In addition, the average of the experimental group (95.20) is higher than the control group (82.40). This indicates a greater increase in the influence of counseling services in the experimental group compared to the control group. In other words, after students receive individual counseling with the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach, there is a significant change in their ability to adjust. Based on these results, it is recommended that guidance and counseling teachers can implement this approach in counseling services to help students improve their ability to adjust.

In this have a look at, a new mathematical model for FDAE-based smart manage systems is proposed. The model carries fractional derivatives blended with algebraic constraints to symbolize prolonged memory results. We describe a numerical method to solve the proposed device and practice this version to robotics, self-reliant cars, and sensible prosthetics. The Fractional Collocation Method is employed to resolve FDAEs, making sure accuracy and balance. To validate the proposed method, we introduce 3 examples: a simple FDAE demonstrating the accuracy of the numerical solution, a device of FDAEs modeling interdependent dynamic variables with algebraic constraints, and an FDAE with a nonlinear algebraic constraint, highlighting the approach's capability to handle complicated, nonlinear dynamics. Simulation results verify that FDAEs offer a more practical and powerful tool for designing and reading wise manage systems as compared to classical techniques.
