Proceeding of the International Conference on Management, Entrepreneurship, and Business 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Manajemen Kewirausahaan dan Bisnis Indonesia

The blue economy is widely promoted as a pathway to sustainable development, yet women’s enterprises remain marginalized by structural barriers. This study investigates whether support systems directly influence the sustainability of coastal women’s businesses in Bulukumba South Sulawesi, Indonesia, while applying the Quintuple Bottom Line (QBL) and Theory of Change (Toc) frameworks. A quantitative design using survey data from women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) was analyzed through structural equation modeling (SEM). The model assessed the reliability of constructs and tested the hypothesized effect of support systems including access to finance, social support, and public policy on sustainability outcomes. Findings reveal that although the measurement model demonstrated reliability and validity, support systems showed no significant direct effect on sustainability. This result contrasts with much of the existing literature but aligns with recent studies emphasizing mediation through financial literacy, managerial capacity, and institutional scaffolding. The study thus adds nuance by demonstrating that external interventions, in isolation, are insufficient for sustaining women’s enterprises in coastal contexts. The research contributes theoretically by extending QBL and Toc to gendered coastal entrepreneurship and practically by highlighting the need for integrated, gender-sensitive policies. Future research should examine mediating and moderating mechanisms that translate support into long term sustainability.

School-Owned Enterprises (BUMES) and the public relations division of the madrasah play a strategic role in supporting institutional development through systematic and sustainable program planning and implementation. BUMES functions not only as the school’s entrepreneurship unit but also as a bridge for collaboration with external institutions, including universities, government agencies, and international partners. During specific periods, particularly toward the end of the academic year, the intensity of cooperation increases, marked by the execution of several strategic programs. In addition to routine activities such as internships at BBDB, BUMES and the public relations division also initiate innovative programs, including a student exchange program to Thailand. This initiative aims to expand global networking, strengthen student competitiveness, and provide cross-cultural learning experiences. All programs are designed through organized planning processes from the beginning of the semester, taking into account relevance, sustainability, and implementation efficiency. This ensures that each activity aligns with the vision and needs of the madrasah while maximizing benefits for students and the institution. The implementation of these programs demonstrates that the synergy between BUMES and the public relations division significantly enhances educational service quality, strengthens institutional image, and supports comprehensive improvement in school performance.

This study aims to describe the implementation of co-curricular activities in instilling edupreneurship values through the production of “Keripik Lumer” (Melted Chips) among fourth-grade students at MIM Kauman Wiradesa. The activity was designed as contextual learning that emphasizes not only entrepreneurial skills but also Islamic values such as honesty, responsibility, and independence. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving teachers and fourth-grade students as participants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed interactively using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the co-curricular activity was implemented in a planned, systematic, and continuous manner through three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The teacher acted as a facilitator who guided students to develop responsibility, teamwork, creativity, and motivation throughout the process. Students demonstrated high enthusiasm, independence, and discipline during the activities. Through direct experience, students not only understood entrepreneurial concepts but also internalized positive character traits such as cooperation, self-confidence, and perseverance. Therefore, co-curricular activities based on local products like “Keripik Lumer” proved effective as contextual learning media that foster an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. This program can serve as an innovative learning model for the development of entrepreneurship education in elementary schools and madrasahs.

The Community Service Program (KKN) was implemented with the aim of fostering and enhancing the entrepreneurial spirit and skills of Junior High School (SMP) students through an Entrepreneurship Workshop at SMP PAB 23 Bandar Klippa. This program was designed using a practice-based participatory learning approach (learning by doing), which positions students as active subjects in all stages of the activity, from planning, production, to product marketing. A total of 39 seventh grade students were directly involved in this activity. Through this experiential learning process, students had the opportunity to develop creative thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a real-life setting. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in several entrepreneurial indicators, namely student self-confidence increased from 55% to 85%, communication skills from 60% to 88%, and interest in entrepreneurship from 50% to 83%. These findings prove that the practice-based learning method is effective in fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and independent character in students. Furthermore, this Community Service Program (KKN) activity demonstrates collaboration between universities and schools in implementing contextual and applicable entrepreneurship education. It also has the potential to be developed as a sustainable learning model to support the achievement of the Pancasila Student Profile, particularly in the dimensions of creativity, independence, and mutual cooperation.

This community service program aims to enhance the creativity and economic independence of mosque youth through the implementation of the Business Challenge Program in Lingkungan VI, Tanah Enam Ratus Village, Medan Marelan District. The program was initiated in response to the limited entrepreneurial knowledge and skills among mosque youth, which hindered their ability to develop productive business initiatives. The implementation involved several stages: field observation, interviews, workshops, mentoring sessions, halal product-making practices, and marketing simulations. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ ability to design business models using the Business Model Canvas, produce halal products (such as fried tofu “tahu walik” and “es kuwut”), and market them directly to the community. Moreover, the program instilled Islamic business values, including honesty (ṣidq), trustworthiness (amānah), and diligence (ijtihād), as the foundation for ethical entrepreneurship. Overall, the Business Challenge Program effectively fostered creativity and self-reliance among mosque youth while strengthening the role of mosques as centers for community empowerment.

Using a quantitative survey method, data were collected from 53 respondents through questionnaires and analyzed with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach using SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that self-efficacy significantly enhances students’ entrepreneurial interest. Students with strong confidence in their ability to lead, organize, and manage business activities tend to develop higher entrepreneurial intentions. Likewise, motivation has a positive impact on entrepreneurial interest, where the drive to achieve success and self-fulfillment becomes a major factor influencing students to engage in entrepreneurship. The study emphasizes the need to cultivate self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation as essential components in developing independent, confident, and competitive young entrepreneurs who are ready to create innovative business opportunities and contribute to economic growth.

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of issuing tax invoices and reporting Value Added Tax (VAT) Periodic Tax Returns (SPT Masa PPN) by comparing the DJP Online system and the Coretax Administration System at CV XYZ. The research focuses on comparing the reporting process before and after the use of the Coretax digital system, as well as evaluating its direct impact on the efficiency of VAT reporting for Taxable Entrepreneurs (PKP). A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through observation and documentation. The results show that prior to using Coretax, tax reporting was conducted through two separate applications, e-Faktur and e-SPT, which led to inefficiencies, input errors, and longer processing times. After the implementation of Coretax, the reporting process became more integrated, automated, and time-efficient. The system also supports digital document archiving and offers automatic validation and notifications, thereby reducing the risk of delays and reporting errors. Although technical issues such as internet dependency, system errors, and user adaptation remain, Coretax overall has a positive impact on improving tax administration efficiency and compliance at CV XYZ.

This study aims to formulate theopreneurship as a theological-entrepreneurial paradigm for empowering the church and society. The study is grounded in the problem that church ministry often remains predominantly charitable, while poverty, economic vulnerability, limited congregational independence, and weak access to productive ecosystems require a more transformative approach. This research employs a qualitative approach using a conceptual-constructive method through a literature review of theology of work, vocation, stewardship, social entrepreneurship, religion and entrepreneurship, and faith-based community empowerment. The data were analyzed through thematic content analysis and conceptual synthesis to construct a theopreneurship framework that avoids reducing church engagement in entrepreneurship to church business, commercialization of ministry, or prosperity theology. The findings indicate that theopreneurship can be understood as a reconstruction of the church’s ministry paradigm from a charitable model toward a productive empowerment ecosystem. Theopreneurship integrates theological values, ethical governance, congregational capacity formation, economic innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and social impact measurement. The central finding of this study affirms that the church does not need to become a corporation to generate economic impact; rather, it must become an empowerment ecosystem that forms congregants who are productive, ethical, independent, and socially transformative.

This study aims to examine how Islamic financing contributes to the empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the trade sector. MSMEs play a crucial role as one of the main pillars of the national economy; however, they continue to face various challenges such as limited access to capital, inadequate managerial skills, and low levels of financial literacy. Islamic financing emerges as a solution by applying fundamental Islamic principles, including the prohibition of usury (riba), fairness, and transparency in all financial transactions. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method based on a literature review from various reliable sources. The findings reveal that Islamic financing, through contracts such as murabahah, musyarakah, mudharabah, and ijarah, not only provides access to capital but also offers mentoring and training programs to help entrepreneurs manage their businesses more professionally. The positive impact of Islamic financing can be seen in the improvement of business performance, increased turnover, and enhanced welfare among MSME actors. Furthermore, this system contributes to the stability of the Islamic banking industry and promotes sustainable national economic growth. Therefore, further development of Islamic financing is necessary to expand its reach and benefit a greater number of small and medium enterprises across Indonesia.

One persistent challenge in Indonesian education is the insufficient internalization of character values among students, which can affect the overall quality of graduates. This study aims to explore the management of character education in enhancing graduate quality at Al-Ittihad Senior High School Cianjur and Ciranjang 1 Public Senior High School. The research adopts a qualitative approach using a multi-case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding of character education practices in both institutions. The findings indicate that both schools emphasize the development of strong academic character and religious or moral awareness, although through different approaches. Al-Ittihad Senior High School integrates the national curriculum with Islamic boarding school values through boarding programs, structured worship routines, and daily religious habits. In contrast, Ciranjang 1 Public Senior High School implements character education based on its BIJAK’S vision, which is embedded in intracurricular and extracurricular activities as well as positive daily habits. Organizationally, Al-Ittihad involves close collaboration between the principal, teachers, and boarding school supervisors, while Ciranjang 1 relies more on a formal public school structure, with the vice principal for student affairs and supervising teachers playing key roles. Implementation at Al-Ittihad is centered on boarding school life, whereas Ciranjang 1 focuses on the BIJAK’S program emphasizing discipline, achievement, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Supervision and evaluation at Al-Ittihad are conducted intensively by teachers, dormitory supervisors, and parents, while Ciranjang 1 applies regular teacher meetings, program evaluations, and parental involvement to monitor character development.
