Education is a fundamental right that must be fought for by every child in the nation, and throughout its development, it continues to undergo innovations and evaluations toward better quality. One educational model that is growing in Indonesia is the boarding school system, which has its own characteristics, advantages, and challenges. This study aims to describe the social studies (IPS) teachers’ strategies in boarding school–based learning, the implementation of IPS learning within the boarding school environment, and the obstacles faced by IPS teachers at MTs Darul Hikmah. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The study was conducted at Pondok Modern Darul Hikmah Tulungagung, with seventh-grade students as research subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show several factors that influence the low effectiveness of IPS learning in boarding schools, including the dense institutional activity schedule that reduces students’ learning focus, teachers’ limited mastery of the subject matter and classroom management, and the dual curriculum implemented simultaneously within the institution. Efforts to improve IPS learning effectiveness include enhancing teacher discipline when entering and leaving the classroom, utilizing audio-visual learning media, and connecting learning materials with current issues to make the lessons more relevant and engaging. Furthermore, the study reveals several advantages of boarding school–based education, such as fostering students’ independence, developing social awareness, providing deeper religious instruction, and integrating both general and religious education. Thus, IPS learning in boarding schools has the potential to develop more optimally with the support of appropriate learning strategies and more structured institutional management.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Company Value in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. The research uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from 27 out of 46 banking companies selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression with Eviews 10, supported by several classical assumption tests including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Further analyses include multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the Adjusted R² to evaluate the overall model fit. The partial test results show that the Current Ratio has a significant positive effect on Company Value, indicating that higher liquidity strengthens market perception of firm performance. Meanwhile, Return on Assets does not show a significant effect, suggesting that profitability alone is not a determining factor for firm valuation in the banking sector during the observed period. The Debt to Equity Ratio demonstrates a significant positive effect, implying that investors consider leverage an important indicator in assessing banking performance. Simultaneously, all three variables significantly influence Company Value. These findings highlight the importance of liquidity and leverage in shaping investor appraisal of banking companies in Indonesia.

This research proposes an alternative model for predicting the plasticity potential of clay soils, updating the previous model developed by Firincioglu and H. Bilsel. The alternative lies in the use of the fine fraction content (FC) as the predictive variable, replacing the percentage of sand fraction content (SC) previously suggested. The analysis was conducted on 61 low-plasticity clay (CL) soil samples, classified using the Casagrande and Moreno-Maroto systems, by examining the relationship between consistency limits (LL, PI), grain fractions (sand, silt, clay), and related parameters (FC, sand-silt-clay spectrum, and sand fraction ratio). The correlation analysis results show significant findings, including a strong positive correlation between sand content and the sand ratio (SR), as well as a negative correlation between sand content and FC, and between FC and SR. The performance of the substitute Casagrande quadratic model [2] reveals the best predictive accuracy among the proposed models ( [1], R² =0.90; [3], R²  0.89; [4], R² =0.43; [5], R² =0.93; [6], R² =0.93; [7], R² =0.89; [8], R² =0.89), with the highest R2 value of 0.93, MSE of ≈4.01, and MAE of ≈1.44–1.47. The equation is .

The Hartley transform provides a real-valued alternative to the classical Fourier transform, offering structural advantages for the analysis of real-valued signals. This paper presents a systematic study of the continuous Hartley transform, including its definition, inversion formula, Plancherel identity, and core operational properties such as shifting, modulation, and convolution. The analytical framework is developed in parallel with the classical Fourier theory to highlight structural similarities and distinctions between the two transforms. Furthermore, we establish a Hartley-type Heisenberg uncertainty principle using two complementary approaches: a direct method based on intrinsic properties of the Hartley kernel, and a Fourier-based method that exploits the algebraic relationship between the Hartley and Fourier transforms. These results provide a unified and rigorous foundation for understanding uncertainty relations within real-valued transform frameworks, and they demonstrate the continued relevance of the Hartley transform in harmonic analysis, integral transforms, and modern signal processing.

Islamic Religious Education plays a pivotal role in the formation of students’ character, particularly within the setting of vocational health education. In light of the introduction of the Love-Based Curriculum initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, there is a pressing need for instructional strategies that effectively integrate the values of love, compassion, tolerance, and empathy into PAI teaching. This study seeks to provide a comprehensive description and critical analysis of the love-oriented PAI learning model implemented at SMK Kesehatan Athalla Putra Palembang, while also examining the challenges encountered and the solutions undertaken in its execution. The research adopts a qualitative field study approach, with data collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, as well as document analysis. The findings indicate that several strategies have been employed, including interactive lectures, collaborative group discussions, socially oriented project-based learning, and the utilization of media designed to promote compassion. The successful implementation of the Love-Based Curriculum in this context is shaped by factors such as teacher competence, institutional support, and the adequacy of educational facilities. Nevertheless, a number of obstacles were identified, namely time constraints, limited professional training for teachers, and resistance to pedagogical change. Despite these challenges, the applied strategies proved to be effective in enhancing both student motivation and character development. Accordingly, it is recommended that the institution reinforce teacher professional development programs, establish a more structured syllabus, and institutionalize love-based values within both assessment practices and the broader school culture.

Blood pressure is the pressure exerted by blood pumped by the heart against the walls of the arteries. Abnormalities in blood pressure can take the form of high blood pressure or hypertension and low blood pressure or hypotension. Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that is one of the risk factors for cardiovascular disease, and sufferers often do not show any symptoms. This community service activity aimed to examine the results of blood pressure measurements among inmates at the Class IIB Detention Center in Masohi City. This study used a descriptive observational design with a cross-sectional approach. There were 95 inmates who participated in this activity. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods to describe the blood pressure measurement results based on demographic data such as age, gender, education level, occupation, height, and weight. The results showed that most respondents were in the 20-30 age range (44.2%) and male (91.6%). The level of education shows that most respondents only completed high school (54.7%) and the majority worked as farmers (30.5%). Anthropometric characteristics in terms of height show that most respondents were between 140-160 cm (47.4%) and weighed between 51-60 kg (43.2%). The distribution of blood pressure shows that most respondents are in the pre-hypertension (40%), normal (29.5%), grade 1 hypertension (17.9%), and grade 2 hypertension (10.5%). Therefore, routine blood pressure checks need to be carried out so that inmates in detention centers can avoid hypertension, which can be a risk factor for cardiovascular disease.

Toddlers are a vulnerable age group to various types of diseases due to their immune systems that are still developing. Limited utilization of medical record data and the lack of structured information regarding disease patterns in toddlers based on age and causative factors have resulted in suboptimal prevention and treatment efforts. Therefore, an approach is needed to systematically classify toddler disease data. This study aims to apply data mining techniques using the clustering method with the K-Means algorithm to group types of diseases in toddlers based on age and causative factors. The variables used in this study include toddler age, type of disease, and causative factors. The data were obtained from RSUD Dr. R. M. Djoelham Binjai and processed using MATLAB software with three clusters. The results show that the K-Means algorithm successfully groups toddler disease data into three clusters with different characteristics. The first cluster is dominated by toddlers aged 0–11 months with appendicitis caused by genetic factors. The second cluster is dominated by toddlers aged 1–3 years with diarrhea caused by environmental factors and has the largest number of members. Meanwhile, the third cluster is dominated by toddlers aged 0–11 months with sore throat caused by environmental factors. The clustering results indicate a relationship between toddler age, disease type, and causative factors, which can be used as supporting information for decision-making in the prevention and treatment of toddler diseases.

Marriage agreements frequently give rise to juridical issues when intersecting with inheritance law, particularly within the context of second marriages. This study is based on an inheritance dispute examined in the Palangka Raya District Court Decision Number 21/Pdt.G/2022/PN.Plk, wherein the second wife argued the existence of a marriage agreement to annul the inheritance rights of children from the previous marriage. Using a normative juridical method with statutory and case approaches, this research evaluates the agreement’s validity against formal registration requirements and freedom of contract limitations. The findings indicate that the marriage agreement invoked by the defendant was declared invalid and lacked binding legal force due to noncompliance with the formal registration requirements under Article 29 of the Marriage Law and the inclusion of clauses contrary to inheritance provisions in the Civil Code, particularly concerning the rights of children as lawful heirs. Consequently, the disputed property was classified as marital property to be distributed among all heirs in accordance with applicable law. This study affirms that freedom of contract in marriage agreements is limited and cannot override legal protection of legitimate heirs.
