Fiqh education in the context of Islam is often understood merely as the transfer of knowledge regarding normative laws. However, the exploration of fiqh education as a process that can shape students' character in accordance with the goals of education, which not only transfers knowledge but also forms individual values and character, has not yet been evident. This is due to the lack of understanding of the essence of fiqh education from the perspective of educational philosophy. This article aims to explain that fiqh should not only be viewed as law but also as education rich in moral   and character values. Fiqh education, when analyzed through several philosophical perspectives such as ontological, epistemological, axiological, and methodological studies, reveals its moral and character values. From an ontological perspective, fiqh education can be directed towards understanding the meaning of Islamic education and the relationship between fiqh law and moral values. This shows that fiqh education plays a role in building students' character. In the epistemological aspect, the Qur'an and Hadith serve as the primary sources of knowledge. Teaching methods that include textual, rational, and empirical approaches motivate students to understand the legal context more deeply. Axiology in fiqh education emphasizes the importance of moral values and social responsibility, aiming to shape individuals with high morality. Teaching methodologies are also evolving with new approaches, such as problem-based active learning, to enhance students' interest in understanding the material. Thus, it is hoped that the education of fiqh will not only produce individuals who are well-versed in normative laws but also individuals of noble character in accordance with religious teachings.

This article examines Paul's perspective on slavery in early Christianity with a focus on the concept of spiritual equality and views on spiritual freedom. Although Paul did not explicitly call for the physical liberation of slaves, the concept of spiritual equality in Christ became a moral basis that highlighted the dignity of every individual regardless of social status. Paul's view of spiritual freedom was interpreted as a potential encouragement to support physical and social liberation, although it did not propose direct changes in law or policy. This research also details possible responses of early Christian communities to this concept in practical contexts, including efforts to support human rights and create an ethical environment that respects the values of freedom and human dignity.

There are still many students who do not fully understand the ethics of digital communication, as can be seen from the way digital communication is not ethical for students to lecturers through WhatsApp shared by private campuses in Mataram City. On the other hand, the concern of campus institutions about this is still not optimal, causing the increasing prevalence of unethical digital communication between students and lecturers. The purpose of the research is to explore and examine the integration of ethno-digital ethic values that can be applied in campus habituation, as well as its influence on strengthening communication ethics and social trust of students in Mataram City. The research method to be used is a mixed method with a concurrent triangulation design. The location of the research is in Mataram City. This research was conducted by involving 157 informants and respondents consisting of 132 students, 10 education staff, 10 lecturers, and 5 campus leaders from five universities in Mataram City. This research aims to analyze and document the barikan tradition in Kebonadem Village as a form of preserving local wisdom which has social, spiritual and educational values. The problem faced is the decreasing interest of the younger generation in preserving this tradition amidst the strong current of modernization. This raises concerns that this tradition, which has been passed down from generation to generation, will be eroded by more popular foreign culture. The urgency of this research lies in the importance of understanding and maintaining the values contained in the Barikan tradition so that it remains relevant and can be passed on to future generations. The research results show that the Barikan tradition not only functions as an annual ritual, but also as a tool to strengthen social ties and deepen people's faith, especially in teaching children the values of togetherness, mutual help and respect for tradition. This tradition, despite facing the challenges of modernization, remains an integral part of the life of the people of Kebonadem Village, connecting the past, present and future, and enriching local cultural identity.

Youth face complex psychosocial challenges amid rapid social, economic, and technological changes. One key strategy for addressing these challenges is strengthening resilience, particularly spiritual resilience. Spiritual resilience refers to an individual’s ability to endure and recover from life’s difficulties through the power of faith, life meaning, and spiritual values. This study aims to examine the concept of spiritual resilience in youth through a cognitive-behavioral psychology (CBT) approach using a literature review method. The analysis draws upon various scholarly sources that explore the relationship between CBT mechanisms and the development of spirituality. The findings indicate that integrating CBT with spiritual values, including within a Christian context, can enhance youth’s mental endurance, assist in restructuring negative cognitions, and support mental health and spiritual growth. This approach offers a holistic and contextual intervention framework to help youth more effectively cope with stress, anxiety, and identity crises.

This research examines the opportunities and challenges in the development of Buddhist traditions in Indonesia, with a specific focus on the role of Tri Dharma (三教 Sam Kauw) as a tradition-strengthening element in fortifying Buddhism in Singkawang City, West Kalimantan. The research is grounded in the dynamic development of Buddhism in Indonesia, which has been influenced by modernity and diverse interpretations of teachings. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method through observation, interviews, and document analysis with religious leaders and Buddhist adherents in Singkawang City, particularly at the historic Vihara Tri Dharma Bumi Raya (established 1873-1878), the findings reveal that the Tri Dharma tradition—integrating Buddhism (佛教), Confucianism (儒教), and Taoism (道教)—holds significant potential in strengthening religious identity and practices through values of wisdom, virtue, and harmony integrated into daily life. The research identifies key opportunities including strong cultural identity, vibrant ritual traditions (Cap Go Meh festival, Tatung rituals), community support structures, and religious tourism potential. However, challenges include limited deep understanding of Tri Dharma teachings among younger generations, influences of popular culture that erode traditional values, pressures of globalization, and modernization impacts. The research implications emphasize the necessity of systematic efforts in socializing and internalizing Tri Dharma teachings through formal and non-formal education, digital media engagement, youth involvement in Vihara activities, tradition documentation and preservation, and inter-Vihara collaboration to ensure Buddhist traditions continue to develop and strengthen their existence in Indonesia's pluralistic society.

The flow of globalization and digitalization is a phenomenon that is present in our daily lives, both in material form and in our minds. In this digital era, people meet and interact in a globalized, seamless space and send ideas, opinions, behaviours, habits, cultures, and ideologies to each other. The impact of global social change that has also hit Indonesia with the rapid development of this technology, not only has the potential to have a positive effect on national life and humanity universally but can also have a negative impact. This is a literature study with a reflective and critical studies approach, which is presented in a descriptive-analytical critical manner as a doctrinal reflection and to formulate theoretical conclusions regarding Pancasila as an ideological foundation for the development of science in the academic community in Indonesia and the challenges of globalization that threaten it. This study found that in responding to this current situation, the resilience of the values that are the basis for the development of science is greatly needed. In the current context, the values of Pancasila can become a collective consciousness to maintain the preservation of national identity in the academic community and the results of its scientific development.

This research aims to uncover the symbolic meaning of stupas placed in front of houses of Buddhist communities affiliated with Vihara Mahanama in Semanding Village, Central Java. Stupas as architectural and symbolic elements hold important positions in religious practice and cultural identity of local Buddhist communities. This study employs a qualitative approach using case study methods with ethnographic perspectives. Data collection techniques include field observations, in-depth interviews with Buddhist communities and vihara leaders, and visual documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively-interpretively using symbolic anthropology frameworks and semiotic architecture theory to reveal symbolic meanings contained in the form, placement, and social function of stupas in daily life. The results show that stupas are not merely religious ornaments, but represent multiple layers of meaning: spiritual values, cosmic symbolism, protection, and markers of Buddhist cultural identity in predominantly non-Buddhist environments. Stupa symbolism also reflects processes of cultural adaptation and spirituality rooted in the social dynamics of the Semanding Village community. This research contributes to understanding the integration of Buddhist symbols in contemporary Indonesian society and their role in maintaining religious identity in multicultural contexts, while also providing insights into the domestication of sacred symbols in everyday spaces.

Meanwhile, from an Islamic economic perspective, demand and supply are the same as conventional economics. However, there are restrictions for individuals to act economically in accordance with Sharia (the Quran and Sunnah as well as the Ijtihad of Islamic scholars or economists). Slutsky's theory explains the behavior of consumers who allocate income to maximize consumption satisfaction, which is acceptable in Islam as long as it does not violate the principle of moderation. Price and Income Impact: Islam teaches us to consider the impact of prices and income on the economic balance of individuals and society, In Islamic economics, Islamic norms and moral values are used as principles in economics The Hicksian theory, which focuses on consumer satisfaction, is acceptable if it does not neglect the spiritual aspect. Price and Income Impact: Islam encourages its followers to consider the impact of the economy on social welfare. The Hicksian theory helps to understand how changes in prices and income affect consumption decisions.
