The objective of this study is to design an appropriate strategy in instilling character values in grade 5 students of SDN Walikukun, with an emphasis on strengthening the values of responsibility, discipline, honesty, and cooperation. The study employed literature studies and qualitative data analysis, which resulted in the conclusion that it is very important for character building in elementary schools to be implemented systematically and sustainably. These efforts need to involve the active role of various parties, such as teachers, parents, schools, and the surrounding environment. The implementation strategy includes integrating character values in the teaching and learning process, habituating positive daily actions, role models from teachers, and monitoring student development through behavioral documentation. In addition, democratic and communicative parenting patterns greatly influence children's character formation, especially if adjusted to the child's innate personality type which can be recognized through approaches such as genetic personality. Simple digital technology can also be used as a supporting medium for character education, although there are still obstacles in the form of limited facilities and infrastructure. The results obtained from this study are hoped to be used as a reference in the implementation of relevant and effective character education at SDN Walikukun.

A harmonious and effective relationship between teachers and parents is a crucial factor in supporting the success of the educational process in schools. However, in practice, gaps in communication, a lack of active participation from parents, and limited understanding of each party’s role in supporting student development are still common. This outreach program aims to improve the quality of teacher-parent communication and to encourage more active and effective parental involvement in the educational environment. The methods used in this program include lectures, interactive discussions, and case study simulations. The results show that the program successfully increased the understanding of both parties regarding the importance of collaboration, openness, and two-way communication in supporting the teaching and learning process. With improved service quality from teachers and active engagement from parents, it is expected that a stronger synergy in children's education at school can be achieved.

Learning styles play an important role in influencing how students receive learning provided by teachers. This study aims to identify students' learning styles during the learning process at the elementary school level. Using a qualitative approach, this study describes and explains the variations in students' learning styles. The results of the study showed that students in grade IV of SDN 19 Nan Sabaris have various learning styles, where 21.43% of students discuss auditory learning styles, 64.29% visual learning styles, and 11.29% kinesthetic learning styles. From these results, it can be concluded that the most dominant learning style is the visual learning style, which shows that students find it easier to understand learning materials through what they see compared to what they hear. Therefore, it is important for teachers to understand students' learning styles in order to determine the right strategies and media in learning activities. In addition, parents are also expected to be able to create a conducive learning environment according to the needs of their children, so that the learning process becomes more effective.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence learning motivation in early childhood, both from internal and external aspects. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various relevant sources published in the last ten years. The analysis was carried out by comparing and compiling related findings to build a structured framework. The results of the study indicate that early childhood learning motivation is influenced by internal factors such as interest, self-confidence, and physical and mental conditions, as well as external factors such as the role of family, teachers, learning environment, peers, and the impact of digitalization. The family is the main element in shaping children's learning motivation, while teachers and the learning environment play an important role in creating a fun and supportive learning atmosphere. Digitalization, although it has positive potential, can also be a major challenge for children's learning motivation if not managed properly. This study concludes that appropriate intervention from all related parties can increase learning motivation and support the optimal development of early childhood."

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the implementation of teaching and learning activities underwent significant changes. Schools that usually conducted face-to face learning had to switch to online learning. However, online learning did not always run smoothly; many challenges emerged, particularly in terms of access to technology such as mobile phones, laptops, and stable internet connections. In addition, not all parents were able to accompany their children in learning from home due to busy schedules or limited knowledge. This situation made it difficult for students to understand the material delivered by teachers online. The home learning environment was also very different often unconducive and lacking direct interaction which led many students to feel confused and unmotivated. These challenges made the learning process during the pandemic less effective and required all parties to find solutions so that education could continue to run well, even when conducted online.

Early childhood is a child aged between 0 and 6 years. The early years are a special time for every child; this period is known as the "golden age" because of the rapid development of children during this period. The goal of early childhood education is to provide learning activities that can develop children's talents and skills and educate them about discipline by disposing of waste according to its type, not in the designated trash can. Early discipline is very important for children's adjustment in everyday life because it can help develop a healthy character that allows children to make their own decisions about what is and is not allowed to do in everyday situations. The purpose of this study is to improve a disciplined environment that encourages healthy child development so that children can grow into responsible, compassionate individuals who can learn from their mistakes. From the results of the study obtained using a descriptive qualitative approach method, it can be concluded that the purpose of daily activities is to help children develop discipline. Teachers often ask students to come to school ten minutes before the bell rings, shake hands, remind them to complete assignments on time, dress appropriately for school, and throw trash in the designated place.

In terms of health, better sanitation facilities and healthier living environments have reduced the risk of infectious diseases and contributed to the residents' overall physical and mental well-being. Economically, access to stable and decent housing has reduced household expenditures on home repairs, allowing families to allocate more resources toward productive economic activities. However, the study also identified several challenges that need to be addressed to further enhance program effectiveness. These challenges include the location of housing projects that are difficult to access, which affects residents' mobility and access to public services, and issues related to the quality of construction that require continuous monitoring and improvement. Overall, the study highlights the positive contribution of the Decent Housing Program while providing recommendations for its future development.

This study explores the vital role of families in shaping social values among children and adolescents within the increasingly dominant digital environment. Digital technology has transformed communication patterns and modes of cultural transmission, presenting new challenges for families in instilling core values while navigating technological influences. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research involved 15 Indonesian families from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Data collection methods included in-depth interviews, observations, and media diaries to understand the dynamics of value transmission in digital contexts. The findings reveal that family communication patterns—whether conversation-oriented, conformity-oriented, or laissez-faire—significantly influence children’s internalization of values. Effective strategies identified include parental digital co-learning, value-based guidance, and the promotion of critical media literacy. Major challenges include value conflicts between family teachings and digital culture, concerns over cultural preservation, and competition for children’s attention due to immersive technology.Nevertheless, the study also found that families can strategically leverage technology to reinforce values through careful media selection, engagement in meaningful digital activities, and fostering intergenerational connections. In conclusion, while families remain crucial socializing agents, the successful transmission of values requires thoughtful adaptation of traditional practices to meet the realities of the digital age.
