Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that requires long-term pharmacological therapy, increasing the risk of Drug Related Problems (DRPs). DRPs can affect the success of therapy, increase the risk of complications, and reduce the patient's quality of life. This article aims to identify the use of antidiabetic drugs, the characteristics of DRPs, and their clinical implications. The method used was a literature review of articles from 2016-2026 that are relevant to the analysis of DRPs in diabetes mellitus patients. The results of the study indicate that metformin is the most widely used antidiabetic drug, both as a single therapy and in combination. The dominant types of DRPs include drug interactions, inappropriate drug selection, inappropriate dosages, omissions from therapy, and use of drugs without indications. These DRPs can cause hypoglycemia, failure to achieve glycemic control targets, an increased risk of complications, and increased duration and cost of treatment. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that DRPs remain a challenge in the management of diabetes mellitus therapy, requiring more optimal monitoring and an active role of pharmacists through medication review to improve the safety, effectiveness, and quality of treatment.

Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is an economically important crop whose productivity is increasingly constrained by drought stress under changing climatic conditions. Conventional breeding for drought tolerance is often slow because this trait is quantitatively inherited and strongly influenced by environmental factors. Molecular markers, particularly Simple Sequence Repeats (SSRs), have become valuable tools for improving selection efficiency and accelerating breeding progress. This review examines the role of SSR markers in the development of drought-tolerant tomato cultivars. The physiological, biochemical, and molecular responses of tomato to drought stress, including growth reduction, photosynthetic impairment, osmotic adjustment, hormonal regulation, and oxidative stress responses, are briefly discussed. The genetic characteristics of SSR markers, including their high polymorphism, co-dominant inheritance, and multi-allelic nature, are highlighted as key advantages for genetic analysis and breeding applications. Furthermore, the review synthesizes recent findings on the use of SSR markers for genetic diversity assessment, Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL) mapping, and identification of genomic regions associated with drought-related traits such as relative water content, chlorophyll stability, root architecture, and proline accumulation. The application of SSRs in Marker-Assisted Selection (MAS), including marker-assisted backcrossing and QTL pyramiding, is also discussed. Finally, the review evaluates the continuing relevance of SSR markers in the genomic era, emphasizing their complementary role alongside Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) markers, Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS), and Genomic Selection (GS). Integrating SSR-based approaches with modern genomic tools offers a promising strategy for developing climate-resilient tomato cultivars and enhancing future food security.

Musi Rawas Utara Regency is categorized as an underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) region that still faces serious challenges in human development, particularly within the education dimension. Although the Human Development Index (HDI) indicates an upward trend, the School Enrollment Rate (SER) and the mean years of schooling at the secondary education level remain relatively low and lag behind other regions. This condition is influenced by limited access to secondary education, household economic vulnerability, and disparities in the quality and distribution of educators in remote areas. This policy paper aims to analyze secondary education issues as a primary obstacle to increasing the HDI of Musi Rawas Utara Regency and to formulate effective and sustainable policy alternatives. The method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis through a literature study, utilizing data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), regional planning documents, as well as relevant national regulations and policies. The analysis was conducted using a SWOT approach to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the regional education policy. The results of the study show that improving the HDI requires integrated, affirmative, and region-based education policies. Three main policy alternatives recommended include expanding and equalizing access to secondary education, strengthening educational assistance and social protection for vulnerable families, and sustainably distributing and improving teacher quality. The implementation of these policies is expected to increase the SER, extend the mean years of schooling, and strengthen the quality of human resources as a foundation for sustainable development in Musi Rawas Utara Regency.

Article 1 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia affirms Indonesia as a state based on law, yet in practice Indonesia's legal system faces a structural problem of hyperregulation and overregulation, characterized by massive regulatory proliferation and regulatory disharmony without adequate corrective mechanisms. This condition is likewise reflected in Semarang Regency, which has 673 active legal products with Regional Head Regulations dominating at 77.3%, while Regional Regulation No. 10 of 2021 on the Formation of Regional Legal Products has not yet accommodated a legal analysis and evaluation mechanism. This study aims to explore the urgency of regional regulatory reform through legal analysis and evaluation mechanisms and to construct an implementation model in Semarang Regency. This study employs a prescriptive socio-legal research method with an interdisciplinary approach. The findings indicate that this condition reflects the dominance of primary rules without adequate institutionalization of secondary rules within H.L.A. Hart's perspective, while simultaneously representing a dysfunction in legal substance with cyclical impacts on legal structure and legal culture according to Lawrence M. Friedman. Therefore, a regulatory governance-based analysis and evaluation model is needed, integrating the regulatory cycle from ex ante to ex post with multistakeholder coordination and evaluation grounded in BPHN's 6-dimension framework

This study examines the recurring traffic accidents at the Bawen intersection in Semarang Regency, particularly involving heavy vehicles descending from the toll exit. The research aims to analyze the underlying causes and formulate an effective accident prevention model. Using a qualitative empirical juridical approach, data were collected through field observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that accidents are caused by a systemic interaction of factors, including inadequate road geometry, vehicle technical failures (especially brake malfunction), driver fatigue and limited competence, suboptimal traffic management, and weak preventive law enforcement. These interrelated factors create a high-risk traffic environment, particularly at signalized intersections at the end of steep descents. The study proposes an integrated prevention model combining infrastructure improvement, vehicle supervision, driver capacity enhancement, technology-based traffic management, and preventive law enforcement. This model emphasizes a holistic and sustainable approach to traffic safety. The implications highlight the need for coordinated policies among stakeholders to reduce accident rates and improve overall road safety in the region.

Semarang Regency holds a strategic geographical position as a transit hub along the Semarang–Solo–Yogyakarta corridor, supported by diverse tourist attractions and strong economic performance. Despite recording 744,659 domestic tourist movements in March 2026 based on Mobile Positioning Data, the regency failed to enter the top ten most-visited destinations in Central Java during the 2026 Lebaran holiday, with only 139,816 visits recorded at its ten leading attractions. This yields an indicative conversion rate of approximately 18.8 percent at the Lebaran peak, meaning more than 80 percent of movements passing through the regency did not translate into recorded tourism visits. This study employs a descriptive quantitative method supported by explanatory qualitative analysis (sequential explanatory mixed methods), triangulating four secondary data sources to identify the competitive gap, analyze conversion disparities, and formulate improvement strategies toward Lebaran 2027. Findings indicate that the primary drivers of low conversion are the transit-only behavior of the majority of visitors and accessibility constraints at the Bawen–Ambarawa–Bandungan corridor. The study recommends four priority strategies: integrated single-window digital data management via Application Programming Interface; private-vehicle-based traffic and access management; four anchor-themed festival clusters across 14 sub-districts; and the formalization of Pangsar Sudirman Night Market and Kuda Lumping Festival as official tourism events. Achieving the minimum target of 203,458 visits to enter the top ten requires an increase of at least 63,642 visits (approximately 45 percent above the current recorded baseline).

Lake Rawa Pening is one of Indonesia’s priority lakes facing serious ecological pressure due to the rapid proliferation of water hyacinth. This study aims to classify and map the distribution of water hyacinth in Rawa Pening Lake during the 2021–2025 period and to analyze the seasonal distribution patterns of water hyacinth. Sentinel-2 imagery processed on the Google Earth Engine platform was classified using the Random Forest algorithm combined with hybrid sampling and spectral indices (NDVI, NDWI, MNDWI, and SRI). Classification accuracy assessment showed high performance with an Overall Accuracy of 97.45% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.949. The results indicate significant spatial-temporal fluctuations, with the highest coverage recorded in March–April 2021 (855.75 ha) and the lowest in May–June 2022 (108.44 ha). Seasonal-Trend Decomposition using Loess (STL) revealed consistent seasonal patterns, with peak expansion occurring during the rainy season, particularly in January–February. Although initial implementation of lake management policies reduced coverage, subsequent increases suggest that control measures remain insufficiently sustainable. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of cloud-based satellite monitoring for evaluating lake management policies and supporting evidence-based environmental management strategies.

The School Participation Rate in Semarang Regency is high, yet the quality of human resources remains relatively poor. This study aims to identify the profile of students’ potential and constraints within the framework of Self-Regulated Learning, as well as to analyse the gap between the level of importance and the level of implementation in Semarang Regency. Data were collected via a Self-Regulated Learning questionnaire and analysed using the Importance–Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results indicate an average importance score of 3.04 and an implementation score of 3.03, suggesting a gap, albeit a relatively small one. The distribution of indicators showed that 14 were in the high-priority category, 10 in the maintain category, 9 in the low-priority category, and 16 in the over-emphasised quadrant. These findings suggest that students are aware of the importance of learning strategies but have not yet been able to implement them optimally. Learning strategies are still dominated by basic, repetitive activities, whilst metacognitive skills and self-regulation have not yet developed optimally.
