As one of grammatical semantics topics, the passive voice of singular first person is used to show the relationship between singular first person (me) and action through the form of passive verbs in a sentence that contain grammatical meaning. The formulation of this research problem is what are the semantic constructions of the passive voice of singular first person in locutionary speech acts explaining based on the strategy in Sumberejo, Ambulu, Jember? This qualitative descriptive research is included in communication ethnographic research. Data was collected through listening and speech methods. Data that has been successfully collected is then presented using categorical, descriptive, and distributional methods. The theories used are Chomsky's generative transformation theory (1965) and Searle's speech act theory (1979). Based on this study, a total of 6 types of passive voice of singular first person in locutionary speech acts explaining in Sumberejo Village, Ambulu District, Jember Regency by dividing the types of passive voice of singular first person based on the form of suffixes and the nature of passive verbs with the type of locutionary speech act explaining based on the strategy. The types of locutionary speech acts explain based on their 5 strategies, then the types are crossed with 5 types of passive voice, singular first person, based on the form of suffixes and the nature of passive verbs

This research was made based on the principal of the problem that occurred in the object of the research material, which was a novel entitled Pukul setengah lima by Rintik Sedu. The aim of this research is to reveal the personality of the main character in the novel and analyze the reasons why this personality emerged.  The method of this research uses qualitative literature study methods, by reading, taking notes, interpreting and the Hermeneutic method, namely interpreting sentences that are difficult to understand into something that is easy to understand or interpreting foreign languages into our language.  From this research, we obtained data from Abraham Maslow’s humanistic approach, namely physiological needs, security needs, love and existence needs, self-esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. From this research it can be concluded that the main character does not fully meet these needs, the reason why this personality appears in the main character is because the main character has not reached the peak of self-actualization, he does not fulfill the needs for security and love so that the main character experiences basic anxiety and causes him not to able to reach the peak of self-actualization because lower level needs have not been fully met.

Bullying, especially in the digital era, has become a serious concern due to its involvement in various forms of physical, verbal, and social violence. Empathy education is considered an integral solution to address this issue by instilling the ability to sense and understand the feelings of others from an early age. This article also outlines the concept of bullying, its effects on perpetrators and victims, as well as its long-term impacts. Furthermore, empathy education is discussed in-depth as a preventive and remedial strategy for bullying. Empathy is not only taught to children but is also applied to those responsible within the school. Through theoretical studies, this article correlates the concept of bullying with a lack of empathy and details the significance of empathy education in the development of students' characters. Empathy education is deemed essential as it influences positive behavior, enhances the quality of social interactions, and fosters meaningful relationships.

The development of technology is currently increasingly rapidly providing convenience and benefits for humans, one example of technology that provides entertainment benefits is online games. However, online game addiction is one of several forms of addiction caused by technological developments, one of which is the internet or better known as internet addictive disorder. The objectives of this research are: 1) Analyzing online game addiction experienced by students IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon. 2) Analyze the learning achievements experienced by IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon students. 3) Analyzing the influence of online games on the learning achievement of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Ciebon students. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection technique applied in the research was interviewing 5 students and distributing questionnaires which were filled in by 15 students. The results of this study show 1) Most respondents (50%) had difficulty stopping playing online games, while 33.3% admitted that they had fairly good control but still felt interested in continuing to play. 2) Effective learning can help pupils and students to achieve learning goals. 3) It can be concluded that 37.5% stated that they do not like playing online games, because they have a very bad effect on learning. In the same percentage, 37.5% stated that they did not agree with online games, but did not provide clear reasons. It can be concluded that the research shows that the majority of respondents have difficulty stopping playing online games, while effective learning can help achieve learning goals, and around 37.5% of respondents stated that they do not like or disagree with online games because they have a bad effect on learning, although some of them they didn't give a clear reason.

Algorithms and programming play a crucial role in problem solving and software development. The origin of the word "algorithm" comes from "algorism," and its history can be traced to Abu Ja'far Muhammad Ibn Musa Al-khuwarizmi. This article presents definitions of algorithms from several sources, such as Kani (2020), Jando &; Nani (2018), Munir & Lidya (2016), and Sismoro (2005). The programming algorithm, as a series of logical and systematic steps, becomes the core in Troubleshooting. The research method applied is descriptive and qualitative, by collecting information from various sources, including books, journal articles, and research reports. The discussion in this article covers the significance of algorithms in everyday life and their application in computer programming. In addition, this article details the basic concepts of algorithms, the role of programming languages, and algorithm representation techniques. In the discussion section, it was revealed that algorithms involve logical and systematic steps to solve a task or problem. The basic structure of the algorithm includes repetition, branching, and sequential order. Programming languages contribute to simplifying human interaction with computers, increasing productivity, as well as facilitating software maintenance and development. Algorithms can be represented in the form of descriptive sentences, pseudocode, or flowcharts. Flowcharts use symbols to illustrate the steps of solving a problem. Repetition, branching, and sequential structures can be clearly described through flowcharts. This article provides a comprehensive overview of algorithms and programming, giving readers insight into the basic concepts, implementation, and importance of algorithms in the context of computer programming.

Aurat is one of the things that must be considered for a Muslim woman. Allah commands every Muslim woman to cover her aurat as best as possible to avoid unwanted things. The existence of rules made by Allah is none other than to maintain the dignity and safety of a Muslim woman. This article will discuss the dress code in the code of ethics of UIN North Sumatra relating to Quranic verses or propositions. The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between Qur'anic verses or propositions with the dress code of UIN North Sumatra. This study uses literature study research which reviews previous journals and reads several references to find the important points needed by the author in writing this article. The result of this study is that the rules used and applied by UIN North Sumatra regarding the dress of a Muslim woman are very closely related to the verses and hadith in Islam.

Moreover, the implementation of differentiated approaches proves effective in catering to the diverse needs of students. This abstract emphasizes the importance of employing varied and contextual strategies for optimal outcomes in teaching Arabic writing skills.

The talking stick learning system involves the use of a talking stick as a means of facilitating dialogue in groups. This learning media helps students' involvement and responsiveness and increases social interaction in the learning process. By utilizing this innovative approach, the research aims to increase the interaction and involvement of students and teachers in the language learning process and its correlation with Islam. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study research design. The research results show that the use of talking sticks significantly increases students' active participation and learning motivation and contributes to the development of more interactive and effective language learning strategies.

This research delves into the intricate realm of maritime education, focusing on the academic and professional preparedness of Semester 3 cadets at the Maritime Institute Jakarta (STIP Jakarta). Anchored in a qualitative descriptive approach, the study synthesizes document analysis and cadet surveys to unravel the multifaceted dynamics shaping the educational landscape. The document analysis reveals a curriculum at STIP Jakarta that aligns commendably with international standards, supported by comprehensive lecturer training programmes. However, the nuanced cadet perspectives spotlight a need for refined emphasis on the practical application of English proficiency in real-world maritime scenarios. Cadet self-assessment underscores both confidence in academic intelligence and an identified need for additional language support, calling for targeted interventions. Exploring professional competences uncovers a disparity between technical proficiency and English Maritime communication, highlighting the importance of a holistic approach to bridge this gap. Cadet motivations vary from a genuine passion for maritime activities to the allure of lucrative career prospects and international recognition. Recognizing this diversity urges the need for personalised career guidance and mentorship programmes. The research also sheds light on English Maritime and Literacy proficiency, differentiating between basic skills and the ability to handle complex communication scenarios. Recommendations include integrating advanced language modules and tailored language support initiatives within the curriculum, ensuring a seamless development of linguistic skills alongside technical competences. In conclusion, this research offers a comprehensive understanding of maritime education at STIP Jakarta, unveiling challenges and opportunities that resonate globally. The synthesis of findings and recommendations forms a compass for refining pedagogical approaches, fostering linguistic and technical adeptness in future maritime professionals. This study delves into implementing multicultural education within Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Indonesia, employing a library research approach and descriptive analysis methods. The study investigates the influence of multicultural education on curriculum development, challenges, opportunities, and its impact on fostering tolerance and understanding among students. Through an extensive academic literature review, the study unveils multifaceted opportunities, including enhanced cultural understanding, promotion of tolerance, enriched educational experiences, and preparation for global citizenship. However, it also uncovers challenges such as resistance to change, resource constraints, and the need for continuous adaptation. The findings underscore the importance of embracing diversity and fostering inclusive learning environments within religious-based schooling. Overall, this study highlights the potential benefits of multicultural education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, emphasizing its role in nurturing culturally competent and globally-aware individuals.
