This study aims to analyze the regulation and implementation of the authority to test laws and regulations (judicial review) in the Indonesian state system based on the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. This study applies a normative juridical method using three main approaches, namely the statute approach, the conceptual approach, and the historical approach. The legal data collected includes primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials, which are then reviewed through qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that normatively the division of judicial review authority between the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court has been expressly regulated in Article 24A paragraph (1) and Article 24C paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The Supreme Court is given the authority to test regulations under the law against the law, and the Constitutional Court is given the authority to test laws against the 1945 Constitution. This division of authority is a manifestation of the principle of separation of powers and the mechanism of checks and balances after the third amendment to the 1945 Constitution. However, in practice, this two-roof judicial review system tends to give rise to conceptual and practical problems, such as overlapping authority and differences in decisions between the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court which have the potential to create legal uncertainty and reduce public trust in the judicial institution. Therefore, it is necessary to reorganize the authority of judicial review by strengthening coordination between institutions or unifying the authority of judicial review which is centered on one institution only in order to guarantee legal certainty, harmonization of norms, and supremacy of the constitution in the Indonesian state system.

Indonesia is a pluralistic country with diverse religions, races, ethnicities, and customs, making freedom of expression an essential right protected by law. Article 28E of the 1945 Constitution guarantees every citizen the right to freely express their beliefs and opinions. From the perspective of fiqh Siyasah Dusturiyah (Islamic constitutional politics), freedom of expression is a right that must be safeguarded by the state as long as it aligns with the principles of deliberation and does not contradict Islamic law. This study aims to examine the freedom of expression of Syaykh Al-Zaytun in light of Siyasah Dusturiyah and Article 28E of the 1945 Constitution. The research uses a normative juridical approach with primary data sources including the Constitution and the book Ilmu Hukum dalam Simpul Siyasah Dusturiyah by Ali Akhbar Abaib Mas Rabbani Lubis, as well as secondary sources such as books, journals, documents, and legal regulations. The findings indicate that Syaykh Al-Zaytun’s freedom of expression is permissible under both perspectives, provided certain conditions are met: it must comply with Islamic law and national law, uphold public interest, cause no harm, and be accompanied by social responsibility. Syaykh Panji Gumilang’s views should be understood as part of public discourse, not hate speech, as they aim to foster nationalism and the common good.

The River Basin (DAS) as a place of absorption and water source for living things, forms an ecosystem and a direct relationship between humans and nature. This study aims to determine the function of the Subayang River for the DAS community in Tanjung Belit Village, and to analyze the process of interpreting the river using the social construction theory of Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckman. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model. The research subjects numbered eight people, consisting of six main subjects (selected purposively) and two key subjects. The results of the study show that the Subayang River has domestic functions (consumption and MCK) and non-domestic (interaction space, economic function, mobility, culture, conservation, and disposal). The process of the community interpreting the Subayang River consists of three processes, namely externalization (Knowledge) sources of community knowledge about rivers are formed through direct experience, family heritage, social interaction, norms or unwritten rules maintained by the community. Objectivation (Attitude) of Subayang River is not only seen as a water source but as a source of life, as a sacred object, river as identity and river as a place of purification. Internalization (Action) of society carries out various actions that come from the community's response to the river. The social construction process is influenced by internal factors (Personal Experience, Cognitive Awareness, Emotional) and external factors (Family, Norms/Rules, Community Culture, Environmental Conditions).

This research examines a case of marriage annulment filed at the Pekanbaru Religious Court, where the plaintiff, a Marriage Registrar, received a complaint from a legal wife who did not consent to her husband's marriage to another woman. The plaintiff questioned whether the annulment request had exceeded the expiration period. The study aims to (1) understand the legal consequences of filing for annulment after the legal deadline based on Marriage Law Number 1 of 1974 and Decision Number 1/Pdt.G/2021/PA.Pbr, and (2) explore the relevance of utility theory in the court’s reasoning. This is a sociological legal study using interviews and literature reviews, supported by primary, secondary, and tertiary data. The analysis uses a qualitative descriptive approach with deductive reasoning. The results show that the court granted the annulment despite the expiration, based on the discovery of an invalid guardian and procedural flaws. A verstek (default) decision was made as both defendants were absent at the first hearing. The court's decision reflects the balance of legal certainty, justice, and utility. The legal consequences include the termination of the marriage, the recognition of the child as legitimate, and the absence of shared property division.

This study aims to determine whether or not the fifth Amendment of the 1945 Constitution as the written Constitution of the State of Indonesia which has become a mecca in formulating laws and regulations for more than the last twenty-five years is still able to meet the demands of the dynamics of the current administration or whether radical changes need to be made by changing the main mecca. Along with the current government and a few years ago. The executive and legislative parties even managed to form several legal products that were eventually criticized and rejected by the public. Therefore, it is necessary to limit the power in the field of legislation that must be given to the party whose authority it is. Based on the theory of limiting the President's power, he is the party that executes and implements the law. In Indonesia, the executive is involved in the process of forming legal products. Even the judiciary also acts as a legislator rather than a negative legislator. Efforts to maintain the position of independent commissions and emphasize regional elections so that we do not need to return to the old model. Lack of understanding of basic social science concepts at secondary school level is a serious challenge in developing students' knowledge and skills in society, nation and state. The basic concepts of social science, which include aspects such as social processes, social interaction, and social contact, are an important foundation in Social Sciences (IPS) in schools. The interdisciplinary approach to social studies covers various points of study, such as basic concepts of sociology, history, geography, economics, anthropology and political science. However, along with the complexity of the material, there are factors that cause students' lack of understanding of basic social science concepts at the secondary school level. Causative factors include teaching methods that are less effective, such as using only discussion methods without adequate explanation of the material.

Both Indonesia and Macau adhere to the European continental legal system. However, in the role of the Prosecutor's Office and the Prosecutor's Office have differences and similarities in the implementation of their duties, functions and obligations. With this study of the role of the Prosecutor's Office, it is hoped that it can provide inspiration for the Attorney General's Office in Indonesia so that it can correct existing deficiencies. This research is a normative research (normative approach), that is, besides relying on normative research, the law is also coupled with a theoretical approach. Furthermore, in analyzing the data, a qualitative approach was used and it was also based on library-based studies, which means that the materials needed for research must be available in libraries, archives and databases, laws and other documents.
