The act of sacrifice (udhiyah) is a form of worship in Islam that holds profound spiritual and social values. Sacrifice aims to draw closer to Allah SWT while demonstrating solidarity with others through the distribution of meat to the community, especially those in need. However, the implementation of sacrifice is often not fully understood, particularly regarding its rulings and etiquettes, such as the selection of animals, slaughtering procedures, and meat distribution. This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the rulings of udhiyah and the etiquettes of sacrifice based on Islamic law.The research employs a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data were collected from primary sources such as the Qur'an and hadith, as well as secondary sources including books of Islamic jurisprudence, scholarly journals, and other relevant literature. Data analysis was conducted descriptively to identify and organize systematic insights related to the topic. The results indicate that sacrifice is obligatory for those who can afford it according to some scholars, while the majority consider it a strongly recommended act (sunnah muakkad). The etiquettes of sacrifice include sincere intentions, selecting animals that meet Islamic requirements, proper and humane slaughtering, and proportional meat distribution. Sacrifice also holds spiritual wisdom, such as strengthening faith and gratitude, as well as social benefits by fostering community bonds through sharing. This study concludes that sacrifice is not merely an annual ritual but also a reflection of values such as devotion, sincerity, and solidarity that must be instilled continuously in the lives of Muslims.

This study looks at the history of the practice and implementation of the Ashura fast and finds out how the students and administrators in the KH Ahmad Dahlan Islamic Boarding School environment interpret the implementation of the Ashura fast. This research is descriptive in nature, namely systematically explaining the livelihood of hadith at the KH Ahmad Dahlan Kuantan Singingi Islamic Boarding School. The approach used in this research is a phenomenological approach. This research concludes that the first thing is to carry out the Ashura fasting tradition carried out by students of the KH Ahmad Dahlan Kuantan Singingi Islamic Boarding School which was founded in 1992. Before breaking the fast, the KH Ahmad Dahlan Kuantan Singingi Islamic Boarding School administrators held an iftar in the Nurul Ilmi mosque, followed by Maghrib prayers and Isha congregation. Second, the activity of fasting Ashura is a proof of love for the Prophet, namely by observing his Sunnah. Because the Sunnah is not only known, but practiced. Apart from that, it is also a way to increase solidarity between students.

The Hajj and Umrah are spiritual rituals that have a special place in Islam, with essential differences in terms of the time of implementation. Hajj, as one of the pillars of Islam, is obligatory for every Muslim who is physically and financially able to perform it at least once in a lifetime. This study aims to analyze both forms of worship from the perspective of history, fiqh (Islamic law), and their social and spiritual influences on Muslim individuals and communities, providing a comprehensive understanding of the procedures, laws, and wisdom of implementing the Hajj and Umrah, as well as to examine the impact of implementing the Hajj and Umrah in everyday life, both from the perspective of individual spirituality and from the social side of Muslims. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive analysis approach. Data obtained from reference books, academic journals, and articles. The analysis was carried out with a descriptive and araitis approach explaining the theological perspective of Islamic law and the social and spiritual impacts of worship. The results of this study indicate that Hajj and Umrah have a significant impact on building deep spiritual awareness among Muslims. Ritually, the procedures for carrying out these two worships illustrate the values of monotheism, equality, and sacrifice. From an Islamic legal perspective, the difference between the obligation of Hajj and the sunnah of Umrah provides flexibility for Muslims to get closer to Allah SWT whenever they are able. From a social perspective, the implementation of this worship is a means of strengthening the unity of Muslims from all over the world.
