The act of sacrifice (udhiyah) is a form of worship in Islam that holds profound spiritual and social values. Sacrifice aims to draw closer to Allah SWT while demonstrating solidarity with others through the distribution of meat to the community, especially those in need. However, the implementation of sacrifice is often not fully understood, particularly regarding its rulings and etiquettes, such as the selection of animals, slaughtering procedures, and meat distribution. This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the rulings of udhiyah and the etiquettes of sacrifice based on Islamic law.The research employs a qualitative approach with a library research method. Data were collected from primary sources such as the Qur'an and hadith, as well as secondary sources including books of Islamic jurisprudence, scholarly journals, and other relevant literature. Data analysis was conducted descriptively to identify and organize systematic insights related to the topic. The results indicate that sacrifice is obligatory for those who can afford it according to some scholars, while the majority consider it a strongly recommended act (sunnah muakkad). The etiquettes of sacrifice include sincere intentions, selecting animals that meet Islamic requirements, proper and humane slaughtering, and proportional meat distribution. Sacrifice also holds spiritual wisdom, such as strengthening faith and gratitude, as well as social benefits by fostering community bonds through sharing. This study concludes that sacrifice is not merely an annual ritual but also a reflection of values such as devotion, sincerity, and solidarity that must be instilled continuously in the lives of Muslims.

Religious education plays a crucial role in shaping the faith and character of children from an early age. One of the important subjects in Islamic religious education at the elementary school level is the teaching of the concept of the Day of Judgment. This teaching is expected to strengthen students' faith and shape their behavior in accordance with religious teachings. This study aims to analyze how the teaching of the Day of Judgment in elementary schools can build children's faith. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that teaching about the Day of Judgment enhances students' understanding of the afterlife and the importance of good deeds. Varied teaching methods, such as storytelling, discussions, and reflective activities, proved effective in helping students understand these abstract concepts. This learning also has a positive impact on students' attitudes and behaviors, such as increased discipline, honesty, and empathy toward others. However, there are challenges in teaching abstract concepts to children that need to be addressed with more creative and contextual approaches.

This study starts from understanding the hadith regarding the recommendation to fast Ashura (9, 10, 11, every month of Muharram). This study looks at the history of the practice and implementation of the Ashura fast and finds out how the students and administrators in the KH Ahmad Dahlan Islamic Boarding School environment interpret the implementation of the Ashura fast. This research is descriptive in nature, namely systematically explaining the livelihood of hadith at the KH Ahmad Dahlan Kuantan Singingi Islamic Boarding School. The approach used in this research is a phenomenological approach. This research concludes that the first thing is to carry out the Ashura fasting tradition carried out by students of the KH Ahmad Dahlan Kuantan Singingi Islamic Boarding School which was founded in 1992. Before breaking the fast, the KH Ahmad Dahlan Kuantan Singingi Islamic Boarding School administrators held an iftar in the Nurul Ilmi mosque, followed by Maghrib prayers and Isha congregation. Second, the activity of fasting Ashura is a proof of love for the Prophet, namely by observing his Sunnah. Because the Sunnah is not only known, but practiced. Apart from that, it is also a way to increase solidarity between students.

Shirk, the sin of associating partners with Allah, poses a significant threat to the foundation of faith among Muslims. In the Qur'an, shirk is described as the greatest sin that will not be forgiven except through sincere repentance. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes Islamic literature and Qur'anic verses to examine the impact of shirk on the spiritual and moral lives of Muslims. The findings indicate that shirk can damage an individual's relationship with Allah and threaten moral integrity. In modern contexts, shirk may also manifest in subtle forms, such as materialism. Education on Tawhid, emphasizing the oneness of Allah, is crucial in preventing shirk. This study seeks to raise awareness about the dangers of shirk and the importance of maintaining pure faith. With a better understanding of shirk, it is hoped that individuals can avoid such practices and align their lives with Islamic teachings.

Law that is just and in line with social values adopted by society. This role is increasingly relevant in facing modern challenges, where understanding and application of the teachings of the Qur'an have an important role in the formation of legal norms in Muslim society. As a holy book, the Qur'an provides moral and ethical guidelines that form the basis for the Islamic legal system. Through its various verses, the Qur'an establishes the principles of justice, goodness, and social responsibility that influence individual behavior and interactions between members of society. The purpose of this study is to explore the values of Islamic law related to the role of the Qur'an in the formation of legal norms. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, by making books, magazines, articles and journals related to the research theme to collect data, then codify it, and then describe it in this article. The results of this study indicate that the application of Islamic law is largely determined by the Qur'an and Sunnah. Laws taken from sources other than the Qur'an and Sunnah will not last long, because the law is made by humans. So that potentially whoever is in power is the one who determines the law. In addition, the Qur'an also provides concrete rules regarding aspects of life, such as marriage, inheritance, and crime, which are then interpreted and applied in the context of sharia law. Thus, the Qur'an not only functions as a spiritual source, but also as a basis for the formation of norms that need to be adjusted to social dynamics and developing legal needs.
