Takokak fruit is one of the plants that can be used to lower blood sugar levels. This study aims to identify the bioactive compounds of ethanol extract of takokak fruit and test the antidiabetic ethyl acetate fraction. Antidiabetic testing was carried out by in vivo testing using the Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT) method to see the decrease in blood glucose levels using white rats as test animals. The test results showed that takokak fruit contains flavonoids, steroids, and tannins. Fractionation is the process of extracting compounds from the extract using two types of solvents that do not mix with each other. The results of the antidiabetic test showed that the ethyl acetate fraction with glibenclamide as a comparator had the ability as an antidiabetic measured by the amount of difference in the decrease in blood glucose levels in the test animal group T?? to T???. From the results obtained, the average decrease in blood glucose levels in the negative control group (Na CMC) was 5.8 mg/dL, the positive control group (Glibenclamide) 21.03 mg/dL, and the fraction group 9.86 mg/dL. Takokak fruit has antidiabetic activity. Compounds that have antidiabetic activity are flavonoids, tannins, and steroids.

The results of the antidiabetic test showed that the n-Hexane fraction with glibencamide as a comparator has the ability as an antidiabetic in terms of the amount of difference in blood glucose levels in the test animal group from T 30 to T 120 . The average decrease in blood glucose levels in the negative control group (Na-CMC) was 108.67 mg/dL, the positive control group ( glibencamide ) 174.67 mg/dL, the 5% concentration fraction group 35.33 mg/dL, the 10% concentration fraction group 30.67 mg/dL, the 20% concentration fraction group 47.67 mg/dL.

Background:PMBA is one of the government programs to reduce child mortality rates and improve the quality of life of mothers in accordance with improvements in maternal behavior in PMBA. PMBA includes IMD, Exclusive Breastfeeding, MP-ASI, Breastfeeding up to 2 years of age. Objective: To find out about the Relationship between Knowledge Level, Attitude and Mother's Behavior towards PMBA 6-59 Monthsin the Working Area of ??the Yabomaida Health Center, Paniai Regency. Method: This research method is correlational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The research population consisted of 190 infants and children.withThe research sample consisted of 66 people who had a Relationship between the Level of Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior of Mothers towards PMBA 6-59 Months.in the Working Area of ??the Yabomaida Health Center, Paniai Regency.The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data analysis used the Statistical program for social science (SPSS) version 16.0 computer application program and used the chi-square test. Results: the results of the relationship between the level of maternal knowledge of PMBA based on the p value = 0.04 (<0.05), while the mother's attitude towards PMBA based on the p value = 0.03 (<0.05), and the mother's behavior towards PMBA based on the p value = 0.02 (<0.05). Conclusion: There is an influence of PMBA on knowledge and attitudes and PMBA practices in the Yabomaida Health Center work area, Paniai Regency, which obtained the p value <0.05. Suggestion: the need for PMBA 6-59 months in the posyandu counseling andIn the Working Area of ??the Yabomaida Health Center, Paniai Regency.

The predictive role of oxidative stress in the pathophysiology of human pregnancy is of particular interest, as oxidative stress is increased in normotensive pregnant women through systemic inflammatory response, reactive oxygen species (ROS), and reactive nitrogen species (RNS). This study involved 40 consenting pregnant women recruited from St. Philomina Catholic Hospital, Edo State, Nigeria. Data obtained were analyzed using GraphPad Prism 9. Results were expressed as mean ± SEM, with a P-value of ? 0.05 considered statistically significant. Malondialdehyde (MDA) increased from 3.75 ± 0.42 U/L in normotensive women to 4.53 ± 0.59 U/L in preeclamptic women. However, this increase was not statistically significant (p<0.05; 0.2903). Catalase activity decreased from 114 ± 8.07 U/L in normotensive women to 84.02 ± 21.58 U/L in preeclamptic women, but this decrease was also not statistically significant (p<0.05; 0.1909). Superoxide dismutase (SOD) increased from 40.82 ± 1.23 U/L in normotensive women to 71.90 ± 5.61 U/L in preeclamptic women. This increase was statistically significant (p<0.05; <0.0001). Glutathione peroxidase (GSH) decreased from 66.74 ± 10.35 U/L in normotensive women to 50.63 ± 8.96 U/L in preeclamptic women, but this decrease was not statistically significant (p<0.05; 0.2466). These findings suggest the potential predictive roles of these biomarkers in identifying and monitoring preeclampsia.

Hypertension in pregnancy is one of the leading causes of maternal mortality, with a global prevalence of 5–10% (Khedagi & Bello, 2021). This study aims to analyze the effect of reproductive status—maternal age, gravidity, and parity—on the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy at Prof. Dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Educational Hospital, Medan. A case-control design was employed with 96 respondents, consisting of 48 cases and 48 controls. Bivariate analysis revealed that pregnant women aged ?35 years have a 2.839-fold higher risk of developing hypertension compared to those aged <35 years (OR=2.839; 95% CI: 1.123–7.177; p=0.027). First pregnancy (primigravida) increases the risk by 2.742 times compared to multigravida (OR=2.742; 95% CI: 1.047–7.178; p=0.040), while nulliparous women have a 2.714-fold higher risk compared to those who have given birth (OR=2.714; 95% CI: 1.101–6.693; p=0.030). Multivariate analysis identified maternal age ?35 years and nulliparity as the most significant predictors (p=0.005). These findings align with studies by Wiranto & Putriningtyas (2021), Hinkosa et al. (2020), and Luo et al. (2020), which confirmed that advanced maternal age and nulliparity increase the risk of pregnancy complications. The novelty of this research lies in integrating all three reproductive status factors as simultaneous predictors of hypertension risk, providing a new perspective compared to previous studies focused on single variables. Based on these findings, early detection and targeted health education for high-risk mothers are strongly recommended.

Hypertension is a disorder characterized by elevated blood pressure originating from abnormalities in blood vessels, leading to impaired delivery of oxygen and nutrients to essential body tissues. Family involvement in assisting relatives afflicted with hypertension constitutes a supportive mechanism to facilitate effective self-care management of the condition.This study aimed to investigate the correlation between familial support and self-care management in hypertensive patients at Tuminting Health Center. Cross-sectional methods. The study sample comprised 49 individuals selected by purposive sampling. A questionnaire was employed as the study instrument. The gathered data was analyzed with the SPSS 16.0 software employing the Chi Square statistical test at a significance level (?) of <0.05. The results indicated that the predominant age group was 56-65 years, including 27 respondents, which represents 55.1%. The majority of respondents were female, totaling 39 individuals, accounting for 79.6%. The most common educational attainment was high school, with 22 respondents, corresponding to 44.9%. The statistical test yielded a P value of 0.0001, which is less than the alpha value (?) of ?0.05. This study concludes that a correlation exists between family support and self-care management in hypertension patients at Tuminting Health Center. The findings of this study are anticipated to serve as a resource for individuals with hypertension, emphasizing the importance of self-care management to prevent problems and facilitate recovery.

Background:Supplemental Feeding (PMT) is an activity of providing food in the form of safe and quality snacks along with other supporting activities by considering aspects of food quality and safety. There are two types of supplementary feeding, namely supplementary recovery feeding and supplementary counseling (PMT). Supplemental feeding (PMT) of local food is one of the strategies for handling nutritional problems in toddlers. The PMT activity needs to be accompanied by nutrition and health education for behavioral change, for example with support for breastfeeding, education and counseling on feeding, cleanliness and sanitation for families. Nutritional status is a state of the body as a result of food consumption and use of nutrients, where nutrients are needed by the body as a source of energy, growth and maintenance of body tissues, and regulators of body processes. Nutritional status is greatly influenced by nutritional intake. Objective: To determine the effect of providing local supplementary feeding (PMT) on the nutritional status of toddlers aged 12-59 months. Method: This type of research uses quantitative research using a pre-experimental design pretest-posttest research design. Results: Based on the results of the study, it was shown that a p-value of 0.41 (> 0.05) was obtained. Conclusion: Provision of Local Supplementary Food (PMT) Has No Relationship with Toddler Nutritional Status at UPTD Siriwini Health Center. Suggestion: It is expected that mothers who have toddlers pay more attention to the growth and development of toddlers.

Health problems in the elderly are increasingly becoming a major concern at global and national levels, along with increasing life expectancy. One of the most common health problems faced by the elderly is musculoskeletal disease, including rheumatism. This study aimed to determine the effect of rheumatic exercise on the ability of elderly individuals to perform daily activities. This study is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design. The results showed that The results of the Wilcoxon rank test were p = 0.000, which was smaller than ? = 0.05. This study shows the effect of rheumatic exercise on the ability of the elderly to perform daily activities. This shows that rheumatic exercise is an effective intervention to support the ability of the elderly to face physical and psychological challenges due to aging and chronic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis.

Unsafe action is an action that does not comply with established procedures and rules which can cause work accidents. Unsafe action occurs for two reasons, such as unintentional errors and active errors or rule violations. Factor affecting unsafe action is internal and external factors. This research aims to examine the relationship between attitudes and knowledge towards unsafe action on section workers veneer setting at PT Abhirama Kresna. This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional study design. The population in this study was 128 workers with 97 sample respondents. The variables in this study were knowledge, attitudes and unsafe actions. Bivariate analysis uses the chi square statistical test with a confidence level of 95%.  This research shows that knowledge does not have a significant relationship with unsafe action (p-value = 0.985; PR (CI 95%) = 0.288–3.391). On the other hand, attitude has a significant relationship with unsafe action (p-value = 0.022; PR (CI 95%) = 0.099–0.868). 

Background:Measles is an infectious disease caused by the measles virus (morbillivirus). This disease is highly contagious and usually attacks children, although adults who have never been vaccinated or have never had measles are also at risk. Infants do not receive measles immunization at the Timeepa Health Center 50 children. If they do not receive complete and timely immunization, they will be more susceptible to various diseases that should be prevented by immunization, one of which is measles.Objective:To determine the effect of maternal knowledge, maternal occupation and maternal attitude on the provision of Measles Immunization to infants aged 9-18 months in the Timeepa Health Center Work Area. Method: Quantitative research type with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was 34 toddlers. The sampling technique used total sampling. Data analysis used the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) version 16.0 application and used the chi-square test. Results: The test of the effect of maternal knowledge p-value 0.000 (<0.05), maternal occupation p-value 0.000 (<0.05), and maternal attitude p-value 0.015 (<0.05). Conclusion: There is an effect of maternal knowledge, maternal occupation and maternal attitude on the provision of measles immunization in the Timeepa Health Center Work Area. Suggestions:Conducting counseling on measles immunization and the importance of integrated health posts, types of activities at integrated health posts regarding measles immunization so that mothers go to integrated health posts more regularly every month and so that toddlers can receive measles immunization.
