Nosocomial infections are the most common infections caused by nurses, one example is nurses who do not wash their hands, It was found that around 60% of nurses were not obedient in implementing hand washing procedures before and after serving patients, so they were at greater risk of experiencing nosocomial infections (Widagdo, et al 2016).The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of nurse service quality on nosocomial infection control at Ken Saras Hospital Ungaran, Semarang Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative using a cross sectional approach. This rsearch was conducted at Ken Saras Hospital Ungaran from September to October 2021. The sample of this study was 45 inpatient nurses. The nurse data demographic questionnaire, service quality questionnaire, and nosocomial infection control were modified from (Nursalam, 2014). The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of the quality of nursing services on the control of nosocomial infections with a significance of 31.1%. This means that the better the service quality of a nurse at the hospital, the better the control of nosocomial infections at the Kensaras Ungaran hospital.
