Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is an important effort to improve public health status. One simple yet highly effective behavior is handwashing with soap; however, many community members still lack awareness of its importance. In fact, washing hands with soap is one of the simplest and most effective actions to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases. Limited knowledge regarding the importance of proper handwashing techniques may increase the risk of disease spread. This community service activity aims to improve children's knowledge and skills regarding proper handwashing practices using soap. The methods used include health counseling, demonstrations, and direct practice through a participatory approach involving lecturers and students. The results indicate an increase in community understanding of the importance of proper handwashing. This health education is expected to raise community awareness in implementing clean and healthy living behaviors and encourage hygienic habits from an early age.

Globally, malignant neoplasms represent a primary contributor to the non-communicable disease burden and serve as a significant determinant of premature mortality. The increasing incidence of cancer is closely associated with various modifiable lifestyle risk factors, including unhealthy diet, smoking, physical inactivity, and obesity. Health promotion and preventive strategies through community-based education are essential to increase public awareness and encourage healthy behavioral changes. This outreach program was designed to foster better community understanding of cancer mitigation through the delivery of educational interventions centered on healthy living behaviors in Ulee Tuy Village, Aceh Besar. The activity employed an educational-participatory approach through health education sessions using interactive lectures and discussions. A total of 30 community members participated in the activity. The assessment of participant comprehension was facilitated through identical five-item pretest and posttest instruments. Findings indicate that the educational intervention significantly enhanced the participants' grasp of oncological risk factors and prophylactic health behaviors. Notably, a substantial majority of the cohort exhibited heightened awareness regarding the critical role of nutritional balance, consistent physical activity, and smoking cessation as primary cancer mitigation strategies. Consequently, community-based health education emerges as a robust mechanism for fostering public health consciousness, ultimately contributing to the advancement of collective well-being and socioeconomic productivity within rural populations.

Stunting remains a major nutritional problem in Indonesia, impacting the quality of children's growth and development, both in the short and long term. This impact not only affects physical growth but also affects children's endurance and future productivity. Although the national prevalence of stunting shows a downward trend, cases of stunting are still found in various regions, including Banyusari Village, Tegalrejo District. The stunting problem in this region is closely related to parents' low understanding of fulfilling balanced nutrition, especially protein intake, which plays a crucial role in the growth and development of toddlers. This community service activity aims to increase parents' knowledge and awareness in stunting prevention efforts through applicable nutrition education. The activity was carried out by students of the Community Service Program (KKN) of Tidar University. The method used was a socialization method of presenting material on stunting prevention combined with fun cooking practices as a learning medium for serving balanced nutritious meals. In addition, this activity was also accompanied by the provision of Supplementary Food (PMT). The results of the activity showed that participants participated enthusiastically and were able to understand the material presented. The educational approach of fun cooking has been deemed effective in increasing parents' understanding of balanced nutrition and encouraging a shift in mindset from the "just to get full" paradigm to ensuring quality nutrition. This activity is expected to become a practical and sustainable alternative for nutrition education in supporting community-based stunting prevention efforts.

Bullying remains a serious issue in elementary schools, affecting children’s psychological, social, and academic well-being. Limited student understanding of the forms and impacts of bullying encouraged students of the Community Service Program (KKN) from Mayjen Sungkono University to implement an anti-bullying education program at Tawar State Elementary School. This activity aimed to enhance students’ understanding of bullying while fostering empathy and care toward peers. The program employed an educative–participatory approach through presentations, interactive discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and ice-breaking activities tailored to the characteristics of elementary school students. The participants consisted of 39 students from grades 4 and 5. Evaluation was conducted through observations of student participation, enthusiasm, and their ability to answer questions related to the delivered material. The results indicated that most students were able to understand the concept of bullying, its types, negative impacts, and prevention strategies. Furthermore, students began to apply anti-bullying values in their daily social interactions within the school environment. Anti-bullying education is expected to serve as a preventive measure in creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive school environment that optimally supports students’ growth and development.

This study aims to determine the effect of educational activities on the management of ARI through infant massage practices on increasing maternal knowledge and reducing complaints of coughs and colds in infants in Majungan Village. The research method used was descriptive with a mixed methods approach (quantitative and qualitative). The study subjects consisted of 25 mothers with infants aged 0–12 months. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results showed that the level of maternal knowledge increased from 28% to 88% after being provided with education and demonstrations of infant massage. In addition, 76% of mothers reported a decrease in complaints of coughs and colds in infants after routine infant massage for one week. Qualitative results indicate that this activity is not only physically beneficial, but also increases the role of mothers in the management of mild ARI and awareness of the importance of cleanliness and environmental health. Thus, education on the management of ARI through infant massage practices can be one of the supporting efforts in maintaining infant health, especially in areas with limited access to health services.

Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and long-term disability worldwide. Early detection and prompt first aid during the golden period are essential to improve patient outcomes, yet family knowledge regarding stroke management is often limited. This study aimed to analyze the effect of health education media, specifically audio-visual and leaflet, on family knowledge of early detection and first aid for stroke patients in the working area of Tamamaung Public Health Center, Makassar. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a two-group pre-test post-test approach. A total of 64 respondents were selected using purposive sampling and divided into audio-visual and leaflet groups. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge in both groups after the intervention (p = 0.000), with a significant difference between groups (p = 0.016), where audio-visual media was more effective than leaflets. These findings indicate that both media improve family knowledge, but audio-visual media is more effective and can be recommended as a primary educational tool to improve family preparedness in stroke emergencies.

The consumption of snacks among school-aged children has become a serious concern in public health due to the widespread use of hazardous food additives such as formalin, borax, Rhodamine B, and excessive artificial sweeteners. These substances are commonly found in food sold around schools and have the potential to cause metabolic disorders, organ damage, and an increased risk of non-communicable diseases. The low level of knowledge among students, teachers, and canteen managers regarding food safety and balanced nutrition exacerbates this condition. This community service activity aims to increase students' knowledge about healthy snacks and encourage early detection through simple health checks. This program was conducted at SMP/SMA Al-Husna Kemiling, Bandar Lampung, involving 20 students, 4 teachers, and 1 canteen manager. The results of the activity show an increase in knowledge among 95% of participants after the education, based on the posttest results. Most participants experienced an increase in scores of 10–50 points from the pretest. The lecture method supported by teaching aids proved effective in helping students understand the material provided.

This community service programme aims to provide education and training on the utilisation of the TikTok application as a digital business medium for the community of Rejosari Village, RT 03 RW 07, Karanggeneng, Boyolali Regency. The rapid development of digital technology and social media has transformed patterns of economic interaction from conventional systems into platform-based digital economies. Nevertheless, at the village level, the use of social media remains predominantly oriented towards entertainment and has not yet been optimally directed as an instrument for enhancing household economic capacity. The implementation method adopts an educative–participatory approach through the delivery of conceptual materials, demonstrations of TikTok features, and hands-on practice in creating digital business content. The results of the activity indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of social media–based digital business opportunities, as well as the emergence of collective awareness to utilise TikTok as a means of generating additional income. This programme confirms that social media–based digital business education can function as an effective instrument for empowering rural communities in responding to digital economic transformation.

This study aims to improve digital money literacy among the community of Kineppen Village, Munte District, Karo Regency, through education and the implementation of the QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) payment system. The research utilized a descriptive qualitative approach, incorporating field observations, interviews, and direct mentoring with four local businesses: Ayam Penyet Pak Lek, Warkop Aim Tigander, Oke Laundry Kineppen, and Pangkas Singarimbun. The findings show that two businesses, Ayam Penyet Pak Lek and Pangkas Singarimbun, successfully adopted QRIS, leading to smoother transactions and increased customer trust. However, the other two businesses, Warkop Aim Tigander and Oke Laundry Kineppen, still face challenges in adopting the system due to limited internet access and deep-rooted traditional cash payment habits. Despite these barriers, the program significantly enhanced the digital literacy of local entrepreneurs, raising their awareness and readiness to participate in the village’s digital economy. This study emphasizes the importance of continuous support and access to technology in fostering the broader adoption of digital payment systems, particularly in rural areas where technological access may still be limited
