Abstrak:
This research aims to produce compatibility between the policies of Abon Surya with the Economic Order Quantity raw material control method, namely the purchase quantity of the Abon Surya policy has an average purchase of 770 kg, for the frequency of purchasing raw materials for jack beans 5 times, for security and point supplies. There is no reordering policy with a total inventory cost of IDR 251,640. Meanwhile, the EOQ method has an average purchase of 1,313 kg. the purchase frequency is only 3 purchases, the security inventory is 90 Kg and the number of reorders is 204 Kg with a total cost of inventory required of IDR 173,254. The cost difference between Abon Surya and the EOQ method is IDR 78,386,417. This shows that there is a saving or reduction in the total cost of inventory needed if Abon Surya can implement the EOQ raw material control method. Apart from that, the packaging used at UMKM Surya Abon for shredded products still uses transparent plastic with stickers, which is less attractive to buyers. Therefore, a new design is needed to attract more buyers.

Abstrak:
The Broiler Chicken business owned by Andien, belonging to Mrs. Tri Winarti, initially operated with a capacity of 12,000 chickens and planned to expand to 24,000 chickens. This study aims to assess the sustainability of the development of Andien's Broiler Chicken farm to 24,000 chickens from a financial perspective. Financial analysis was conducted through calculations of Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). From the calculation results, it can be concluded that the expansion of Andien's Broiler Chicken business from 12,000 chickens to 24,000 chickens is a viable step based on the scenario calculations. The Payback Period (PP) is 1.31 periods, indicating a quick payback of investment as PP is less than 12 periods. The calculation results show an NPV value of Rp 4,936,714,867 using a 6% discount rate (based on the 2023 BRI KUR interest rate), and if using a 7% discount rate (based on the 2023 Mandiri KUR interest rate), the NPV would be 4,633,045,331. The presence of a positive NPV indicates the viability of this business development. The calculated IRR value reaches 22.26%, exceeding the 6% discount rate. The feasibility of the business is also supported by a BCR value of 1.09, where a ratio above 1 indicates the viability of the business.

Abstrak:
PBA Surya Alam is one of the industries engaged in the natural stone processing industry (PBA) which has a fairly high risk of work accidents due to the lack of hazard control in the production process for workers. The application of occupational safety and health at PBA Surya Alam has been implemented, but its application has not been maximized, such as in terms of worker awareness in using personal protective equipment (PPE). From 2020 the cutting station experienced 7 work accident cases, in 2021 the cutting station experienced 4 work accident cases, and in 2022 the cutting station experienced 2 work accident cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential for work accidents, risk assessment, and efforts to control hazard risks in natural stone production process activities. In addition, this study aims to determine the most dominant risk controls and provide suggestions for controlling work accident factors in the natural stone production process. Therefore, this study uses the HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control) method, which is a method for determining potential hazards that occur, knowing risk assessment to determine risk levels and knowing risk controls to reduce the occurrence of work accidents. The results of calculations using the HIRARC and 5W + 1 H methods show that there are 6 cases of potential hazards recorded at PBA Surya Alam with each risk, namely 6 cases of potential hazards with extreme risk, then as many as 8 potential cases hazard with high risk (high risk), as many as 5 cases of potential hazard with high risk. Whereas for the 5 W + 1 H method in the process of cutting Natural Stone from the results of observations and observations in the field making control proposals such as installing SOP signs at Natural Stone production stations so as a reminder when operators are working, safety controls for employees and safety helmets to minimize falling products (PPE), and controlling the use of gloves.

Abstrak:
Pengendalian kualitas adalah salah satu kegiatan mengukur dan mengawasi yang dilaksanakan mulai dari pemrosesan bahan, tahap produksi hingga produk jadi. Diketahui bahwa jumlah produk cacat pada CV XYZ periode Juli 2022 - Februari 2023 adalah sebesar 8,42% atau sebanyak 33.903 pcs. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kecacatan produk dan menyusun strategi perbaikan yang tepat untuk meminimasi kecacatan produk. Metode analisis pengendalian kualitas yang digunakan adalah metode statistical quality control dan metode penentuan faktor-faktor penyebab kegagalan produk, yaitu metode 5W+1H. Menurut pengolahan data, faktor utama penyebab kecacatan produk adalah faktor manusia, yaitu ketidakpatuhan terhadap SOP yang berlaku, kelalaian, dan ketergesa-gesaan. Faktor metode yaitu penggunaan teknik jahit yang berbeda. Faktor material yaitu penggunaan bahan baku yang kurang berkualitas seperti kulit atau benang. Faktor mesin yaitu kurangnya intensitas dan kontrol perawatan serta jumlah teknisi perawatan mesin yang kurang memadai. Selain itu, strategi perbaikan yang diusulkan, yang dapat diterapkan dengan memperbarui standart of production (SOP), mencakup pemilihan bahan baku atau metode penjahitan dan pengendalian proses penjahitan, produksi, pelaksanaan program pengembangan karyawan, dan tinjauan berkelanjutan. dengan melakukan inspeksi di seluruh tahap produksi dan pada mesin-mesin produksi. Pengolahan bahan baku sesuai dengan standar perusahaan.

PT Mitra Rekatama Mandiri merupakan perusahaan foundry yang memproduksi Engine Pulley Yst Pro. Pada Januari 2023 hingga Februari 2023, Engine Pulley Yst Pro memiliki tingkat kecacatan sebesar 6,4% yang berada di atas target cacat maksimum perusahaan sebesar 3% sehingga memerlukan pengendalian. Studi ini bertujuan guna mengendalikan kualitas untuk mengurangi jumlah produk cacat pada Engine Pulley Yst Pro. Metode seven tools dan five M checklist digunakan sebagai alat kontrol kualitas dengan menggunakan (Check Sheet, Stratification Chart, Histogram, Scatterplot, Control Chart, Pareto Chart, Fishbone Chart) untuk mengidentifikasi akar penyebab cacat kemudian memberikan saran perbaikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ada 3 jenis cacat yakni cacat keropos, cacat rantap, dan cacat bentuk tidak sesuai dengan total cacat sebanyak 899 cacat. Diagram Pareto menunjukkan jenis deffect yang paling banyak yaitu rantap dengan persentase 43% sejumlah 386 unit. Penyebab keropos adalah manusia, material, metode dan lingkungan. Rantap disebabkan oleh manusia, material, metode, mesin, dan lingkungan. Penyebab bentuk tidak sesuai adalah manusia, metode, mesin, dan lingkungan. Berdasarkan akar permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan perbaikan menggunakan Five M Checklist yang menitik beratkan pada perbaikan pada 5 akar permasalahan yaitu manusia, metode, material, mesin, dan lingkungan yang terlibat dalam proses pembuatan produk Engine Pulley Yst Pro.

PT XYZ is a company that has been engaged in metal casting for a long time. This company produces products in the form of wingnut spare parts. The production system used is make to order production. The obstacle faced by PT XYZ was that it was found that the setup operation process activity took quite a long time on average 40 minutes. If it continues to occur it will have an impact on delays. With these problems, PT XYZ reduced the setup time to overcome delays in completing the automatic molding machine wingnut product. Utilize the Single minute exchange of die (SMED) method to speed up setup. The SMED approach distinguishes between internal regulatory and external regulatory activities. Adjustment activities that only Internal adjustments can be made while the machine is stopped. The External Setup setup activity can be performed while the machine is running or operating. By switching to external setup instead of internal setup, setup tasks that were completed when the machine was stopped can now be completed while it is running, thereby reducing setup time. the setup operation of all these activities is carried out when the engine is off or the internal setup produces an average of 101 molds. Meanwhile, the setup time after implementing SMED can be reduced to 26.78 minutes or a decrease of 47.61%. This decrease in setup time increases productivity by 2 molds/day and if in a month with 26 working days it can add 59 molds so that in total it can produce 159 molds/month.

PT GMP Sukses Makmur Indonesia is a company engaged in the production of Bubble Wrap (bubbled plastic). This company produces 818,680 rolls with an average monthly production of 68,223 rolls. The problem that often arises at Pt Gmp Sukses Makmur Indonesia is the high production machine delay time with a downtime of 705.43 hours and a breakdown of 663.33 hours in one year, so the engine performance is less effective. This can lead to not achieving production targets which cause losses. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the Bubble Wrap production machine using the Overall Resource Effectiveness (ORE) measuring tool and to find the causes of the problems that have been carried out using the ORE method on Bubble Wrap production machines during the period September 2021 – August 2022. ORE is a method that is useful in measuring the effectiveness of production time by taking into account the resources which include humans, machines, materials and methods. In the ORE method there are seven factors that are measured including readiness, availability of facility, changover efficiency, availability of material, availability of manpower, performance efficiency, dan quality rate. The results of measuring machine effectiveness using the Overall Resource Effectiveness (ORE) method for Ektruder machines were 76.41%, Crushers 99.59%, Cooling 98.99%, Mixers 99.79%, and Air Compressors 98.88%. Based on the method used, it is known that in the Bubble Wrap production process, the extruder machine does not meet the ORE standard of 85%, while the influencing factors are performance efficiency and quality rate. where the value of performance efficiency and Quality rate does not meet the standard so that it affects the high value of Overall Resource Effectiveness (ORE).

Peralatan produksi secara bertahap meningkat dan tentu saja biaya Teknologi menjadi lebih penting. Peralatan produksi mewakili sebagian besar modal yang diinvestasikan di perusahaan, dan merosotnya peralatan menyebabkan peningkatan produksi, kualitas produk yang lebih rendah, dan siklus pengiriman yang lebih lama. Untuk menjaga kondisi mesin yang berjalan disetiap harinya 9 jam, maka pada bulan juli 2021 sampai Maret 2022 yang dimana memiliki downtime selama 393 Jam sehingga agar tidak mengalami waktu proses produksi terpotong terlalu lama, maka dibutuhkan Metode Total Produksi Maintanance untuk pemeliharaan mesin yang baik dan tepat sehingga hasilnya dapat meningkatkan efektivitas mesin dan dapat mengurangi kerugian yang diakibatkan dari kerusakan mesin. Penyebab rendahnya nilai guna mesin antara lain karena kurang tindakan preventive, corrective maintenance, dan tingginya tingkat defect and speed. Hasil pengukuran nilai effektivitas mesin spot welding SP 16 dan SP 17 dengan menggunakan metode overall Equipment Effectiveness dari bulan juli 2021 sampai maret 2022 memperoleh nilai presentase yang berkisar antara 85,13% - 92,99%. Dan nilai overall Equipment Effectiveness terbesar dimiliki pada bulan Agustus 2021 yaitu 92,99%, dan nilai overall Equipment Effectiveness terkecil dimiliki bulan febuari 2022 sebesar 85,13%. Menurut perusahaan standar ideal overall Equipment Effectiveness adalah 85 % sehingga pada bulan febuari 2022 sudah diatas setandar ideal perusahaan.

PT Indonesia Thai Summit Auto adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dalam bidang otomotif jenis produk yang dihasilkan adalan produk stamping untuk komponen mobil yang sangat menjaga proses kualitas,namun faktanya pada tanggal 25 November 2021 ditemukan Defect Pitch Bolt Over pada produk part Reinf Roof Rail Fr Lh sebanyak 69 pcs, sehingga perusahaan harus melakukan perbaikan kualitas . Metode yang digunakan untuk perbaikan kualitas yaitu metode Quality Control Circle dan Failure Mode Effect Analysis. Metode QCC lebih berfokus pada pengendalian mutu produk dalam melakukan perbaikan dengan siklus PDCA dan Seven tools, Sedangakan FMEA digunakan untuk mencari nilai RPN dari setiap faktor penyebab defect yang tertinggi agar dijadikan prioritas utama untuk dilakukan perbaikan. Hasil yang didapat menyatakan bahwa faktor mesin menjadi penyebab utama terjadinya defect Pitch Bolt Over pada Part Reinf Roof Rail Fr Lh di ikuti faktor, metode, dan manusia. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada faktor-faktor penyebab defect tersebut defect Pitch Bolt Over berhasil menurun dari 69 pcs menjadi Zero Defect sesuai dengan yang ditargetkan perusahaan.
