<div align="justify"><p><em>Concrete is a solid mixture that hardens, consisting of components such as cement, sand, gravel, and water that are mixed. Civil engineering construction is related to concrete, including the construction of roads, buildings, dams, houses, and irrigation channels. Considering the importance of knowledge related to concrete, students of SMK N 3 Semarang who are majoring in construction engineering and housing need to be well informed. Many vocational high school students are still unaware of the proper process of making concrete that meets the desired quality standards. Students of SMKN 3 Semarang, who are expected to be able to work immediately after completing their studies, need to be equipped with knowledge about the concrete-making process. The purpose of this activity is to improve the knowledge of SMKN 3 Semarang students regarding the quality of concrete materials, the making of K-225 quality concrete, and the value of the concrete slump test. The PkM team from Universitas Semarang conducted training on making concrete for SMK N 3 Semarang students using discussion methods and laboratory practice. As a result of this training, the majority of students understand the process of making concrete in terms of material quality, K-225 concrete mix design, and slump test testing.</em></p></div>

Abstrak:
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai analisis stabilitas lereng pada Jalan Tol Trans Sumatera Ruas Sigli-Banda Aceh Seksi 1 pada STA 21+725. Perkuatan lereng menggunakan dinding penahan tanah tipe kantilever setinggi 5,1 m dan kelandaian lereng 45°, dengan angka aman >1,5. Perhitungan dilakukan pada kondisi statis dan kondis gempa menggunakan GeoStudio 2012, ASDIP Retain v.4.7.6, dan perhitungan manual. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan GeoStudio 2012 diperoleh angka aman 3,057 untuk kondisi statis dan 1,787 untuk kondisi gempa. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan ASDIP Retain v.4.7.6 diperoleh SF guling 3,02 dan SF geser 5,81. Gaya geser pada ketinggian kritis sebesar 95,3 kN/m dan tahanan geser sebesar 328 kN/m. Hasil perhitungan manual kondisi statis terhadap gaya eksternal diperoleh SF guling 3,034, SF geser 1,921, dan SF daya dukung 14,19. Nilai SF untuk kondisi gempa diperoleh SF guling 2,077, SF geser 1,775, dan SF daya dukung 9,631. Terhadap gaya internal kondisi statis dan kondisi gempa telah memenuhi syarat angka keamanan. Hasil simulasi dengan GeoStudio 2012, ASDIP Retain v.4.7.6, dan perhitungan manual di atas telah sesuai dengan syarat faktor keamanan sesuai SNI 8460:2017.

<em>Most civil engineering students and construction practitioners experience misconceptions about knowledge and even incorrect practical procedures for using measurement instruments. One of the misconceptions that is often encountered is the meaning of ordinary and extraordinary positions, the meaning of azimuth, the meaning of angles, directions, readings, and many more. Misconceptions in practice include the inaccurate process of centering, leveling, and targeting due to a misunderstanding of the pointing, targeting, and parallax processes. There are also often debates between students because of differences in interpretation of the influence of right or left rotation on horizontal readings or counting angles. On the other hand, the development of measurement and mapping surveys is increasingly rapid. However, measurement principles should not be ignored. These principles are the pillars of knowledge and the pillars of a surveyor's practice, with which fieldwork evaluations and decisions can be taken accurately and responsibly, both academically and practically. The measurement training activity using a water level tool is intended for Civil Engineering students at the Muhammadiyah University of Semarang (UNIMUS) and construction practitioners. This activity aims to improve understanding and skills so that participants can use the spirit level measuring instrument correctly. The method used is the delivery of theory, followed by practice in the field. The results obtained are an increase in participants' abilities in the measurement process and calculating measurement data based on the results of work and direct evaluation in the field.</em>

Abstrak:
Pondasi merupakan elemen yang sangat penting dalam suatu bangunan. Namun, pondasi juga rentan mengalami penurunan. Penurunan pondasi dapat berdampak pada struktur utama bangunan. Pada dasarnya, penurunan pondasi terjadi ketika pondasi tersebut menanggung beban struktur di atasnya. Penurunan pondasi harus dipertimbangkan saat tahap perencanaan proyek konstruksi agar tidak melebihi batas izin yang telah ditetapkan. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kapasitas daya dukung pondasi dan pergerakan tanah yang terjadi. Jenis pondasi yang digunakan dalam Proyek Pembangunan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang adalah pondasi pancang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan data sekunder, termasuk gambar dan laporan investigasi tanah. Perhitungan beban pada struktur dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SAP2000, menghasilkan gaya aksial sebesar 5006,996 kN, gaya geser sebesar 4,979 kN, momen dalam arah X sebesar 72,7124 kN/m, dan momen dalam arah Y sebesar 322,0355 kN/m. Kapasitas daya dukung ultimit pondasi tiang tunggal adalah 4791,44 kN, sementara kapasitas daya dukung ultimit pondasi tiang kelompok adalah 5971,998 kN. Penurunan pondasi tiang tunggal dan tiang kelompok adalah 13,573 mm dan 30,350 mm, secara berturut-turut. Penurunan pondasi yang terjadi dianggap aman karena nilainya lebih rendah dari batas izin yang diizinkan

<p><em>Gogodalem Village is one of the regions of Bringin District, Semarang Regency, which has natural conditions in the form of cliffs and ravines because it is located on a plateau. Some of the cliffs are still rock and soil so they are prone to landslides when rainfall is high. This became the basis for carrying out the University of Semarang Community Service Program (KKN) in the form of building stone sheet piles on the cliffs of Plataran-Kauman Roads in East Gogodalem Hamlet. The choice of location was based on the high level of landslide risk and the road is the main access to Plataran and Kauman Hamlets. The activity implementation method starts from the coordination and socialization stage, then the volume calculation and budget plan, and the last stage is the implementation of construction work. A fee of Rp. 5,728,500.00 is needed to complete the construction work. This activity has been carried out properly and smoothly, so it is hoped that it can reduce the occurrence of land shifts due to high rainfall which can cause landslides on cliffs that close roads and disturb residents who will pass through these roads.</em></p>

<p align="justify"><em>Mosques are one the public facilities that have a role as houses of worship for muslims. In addition, the mosque also functions as a center for community activities such as a place for celebrating big days, discussions, studies, seminars, lectures, and training as a center for religious learning for the community. To increase the role and function of the mosque as well as an effort to increase the capacity or capacity of worshippers, the mosque prosperity council (DKM) plans to renovate the construction of mosque. The existing condition of the mosque currently has supporting facilities, but it is considered inadequate with a limited capacity of worshippers. In addition, physically the existing mosque building is quite simple, so carrying out renovations requires careful planning. The purpose of this community service (PkM) of Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Semarang</em> <em>is to assist DKM in making a renovation plan design for the construction of the As-Syuhada Mosque. The output of this mentoring activity is in the form of submitting design drawings of the 2 floors mosque building including detailed structural drawings, as well as 3D drawings and calculation of the cost budget plan (RAB). The drawings and RAB of the renovation work for the construction of the As-Shahada Mosque that had been approved were then used as guidelines for carrying out work in the field.</em></p>

Abstrak:
The Semarang Outer Ring Road (SORR) project which is located on soft soil has the potential to experience land subsidence due to consolidation. The consolidation settlement is predicted to continue along with the length of time the consolidation is completed. It is necessary to study subsurface engineering geology to obtain an overview of the structure of the soil layers and the thickness of the soft soil layer that has the potential to undergo consolidation. Based on the data of 4 borehole points and the results of laboratory tests, evaluation and correlation were carried out to obtain the stratigraphy of the soil layer. The stratigraphic results showed that the total depth of the soil investigation was 50 m, with the surface soil layers generally consisting of embankment soil, sandy clay, sandy silt, and clayey silt. The distribution of clay and silt with very soft to medium consistency dominates the soil layer structure with a thickness varying between 15.50-28.00 m. This condition has the potential to cause an increase in the magnitude and rate of consolidation due to the surface loading of the embankment soil.
