For citizens who support democracy, ethics and human rights (HAM), civic education is an important instrument to shape their character and mentality. In the era of globalization and openness of information, the value of education which places a strong emphasis on strengthening human rights (HAM) values is very important. The design of civic awareness for theoretical approaches and literature research may actively involve the formation of citizenship, as discussed in this paper. This article examines the application of incorporating human rights (HAM) ideals into civic education instruction in educational settings using a descriptive qualitative approach. Civic education is an important instrument in shaping the character and mindset of citizens who uphold democracy, ethics and human rights (HAM). The political consequences of this research include the need for curriculum renewal, institutional support, teacher training and the idea that civic learning is a process rather than a means to achieve civic and human ideals.

This study discusses the role of Pancasila as the foundational and ideological basis of the Indonesian state in the context of international diplomacy, as well as its implications for the formation of national law and foreign policy. Pancasila functions not only as a normative foundation but also as a form of soft power that supports Indonesia's position in the global arena. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach, drawing from journals, books, and relevant legal documents. The findings indicate that Pancasila influences Indonesia’s foreign diplomacy through core values such as social justice, deliberation, and humanity. However, challenges remain in its implementation, particularly in maintaining consistency between Pancasila’s values and global as well as national interests. In the context of international law, Pancasila as a legal ideal (rechtsidee) contributes to the development of a just, inclusive, and tolerant legal system. Therefore, revitalizing the understanding of Pancasila is crucial to ensure it remains a central guideline in every foreign policy decision and national legal development in Indonesia.

The education system in Indonesia comprises a series of interconnected components and educational activities aimed at achieving national education goals. With the growing demands for educational reform, policies related to education have undergone several modifications. Every individual in the country has the right and obligation to attain a decent life; however, in reality, many are still unable to experience genuine well-being. This situation arises because the government and leaders tend to prioritize rights over fulfilling their responsibilities. The methodology employed is qualitative, The research findings indicate that the education policies implemented have not yet fully reached all segments of society, particularly vulnerable groups, despite the presence of public participation in forums such as Musrenbang. Moreover, the success of implementation largely depends on effective coordination between central and regional governments, as well as adequate socio-political support.

This journal defines public policy as actions taken by governmental authorities to address specific social issues and emphasizes citizen participation as a key element in the democratic process. It outlines the importance of community involvement in policymaking to enhance legitimacy, governmental accountability, and the quality of policies. Factors influencing citizen participation include education, socioeconomic status, and access to information. The theoretical framework underscores the significance of active participation for successful community development, particularly highlighting the role of Generation Z in political engagement through digital platforms.Various methods for involving citizens in decision-making—such as public forums, surveys, and online platforms—are discussed, alongside the benefits of integrating technology to promote transparency and inclusivity. To explore this phenomenon in depth, a qualitative research method with an exploratory case study approach is employed. The study involves in-depth interviews with key informants such as public officials, representatives of civil society organizations, and Generation Z citizens who are actively engaged in digital participation. Additionally, participatory observation of public policy forums and documentation of various technology-based participatory initiatives are conducted. Thematic analysis is used to identify patterns, themes, and factors that influence the effectiveness of citizen participation in policymaking. Data validity is ensured through source and method triangulation, as well as member checking with selected respondents.This paper also presents case studies of successful participatory initiatives while addressing challenges such as unequal power dynamics and limited access to information. The recommendations focus on strategies to raise awareness, enhance transparency, encourage inclusivity, and foster a culture of active participation to ensure that policies reflect the diverse needs of society. Overall, meaningful citizen engagement is deemed essential for effective governance and policymaking.

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has now become one of the crucial aspects in the advancement of information technology throughout the world. This article aims to connect the values ??of Pancasila as the moral basis of the Indonesian nation with the ethics of using artificial intelligence and its impact on the country. As the philosophical foundation of the state, Pancasila contains deep ethical values ??and can be used as guidelines in the application of AI that are in line with the moral and ethical principles that apply in Indonesia. Pancasila education has an important role as an ethical framework in the context of the development and application of AI. In this article, we will discuss the application of Pancasila values ??in technological developments so that they remain in line with the nation's identity, as well as explore the various positive and negative impacts that may arise from the use of AI. Furthermore, this study seeks solutions that can be implemented by the government, companies, and society to overcome these negative impacts. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study aims to explore and understand in depth the relationship between Pancasila values ??and ethics in the use of AI, especially in the context of the development of information technology in Indonesia. This approach is very appropriate for examining social phenomena, values, and meanings contained in policies or implementation of technology in society.

As in the Islamic view, in the digital world, people must always participate and be based on sharia principles, such as honesty, responsibility, and respect for the rights of others. This study aims to examine the role of digital citizenship in the perspective of Islamic law, which uses a qualitative approach and normative analysis. The results of this study also show that there are several aspects that are influential in the digital era such as the importance of protecting personal data as part of the main objective of sharia, maintaining communication ethics by prioritizing the principles of politeness and honesty, and preventing the spread of hoax information. Islam also strongly emphasizes the importance of hate speech and bullying among virtual communities. In Indonesia, social media has become an important platform for connecting people and sharing information. However, as the use of social media increases, it is important to remember the moral values ​​that govern human interaction, as taught by Pancasila. This study applies a qualitative method based on literature studies from various sources, such as books, journals, and other media. This qualitative study aims to interpret the phenomena that occur around us and explain their influence on the values ​​of Pancasila in the use of social media. The results of the study show that Pancasila as the moral basis of the nation faces challenges from globalization and technological advances, especially in the use of social media. The noble values ​​contained in each principle are needed and applied in the digital life of society. The implementation of the values ​​of divinity, humanity, unity, democracy, and justice can be realized through a tolerant attitude, avoiding hoaxes and hate speech, maintaining social harmony, communicating wisely, and supporting equal access to information. Thus, social media can be a strategic means to strengthen national character and maintain Indonesian unity.

Freedom of the press is a fundamental part of a democratic system, including in Indonesia. However, in a society that is predominantly Muslim, there are challenges in balancing freedom of the press with Islamic values. One form of Islamic influence on the world of journalism in Indonesia is the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) on Islamic journalism. This study aims to analyze how the fatwa regulates journalistic practices, the extent of its influence on press freedom, and the challenges that arise in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a document analysis method, including a study of the MUI fatwa, press regulations in Indonesia, and related literature. The results of the study show that the MUI fatwa emphasizes the principles of honesty, moral responsibility, and compliance with Islamic teachings in journalistic practice. This fatwa encourages Muslim journalists to present news that is not only accurate but also in accordance with religious norms. Although it does not have binding legal force, this fatwa still has a major influence, especially for Islamic-based media and Muslim journalists. However, this study also found the potential for conflict between the principle of press freedom which prioritizes independence and the principle of Islamic journalism which demands limitations according to religious norms. Therefore, dialogue is needed between stakeholders, such as the MUI, the press, and the government, in order to find a balance between press freedom and Islamic values ??in journalistic practices in Indonesia.

The digital era has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including building civic awareness. Islamic preaching as an effort to convey Islamic teachings and values has an important role in shaping characters and increasing public awareness of the rights and obligations of citizens, and also has a strategic role in instilling national values and social responsibility in a society that is increasingly digitally connected. By utilizing digital technology, preaching can be an effective means of spreading moral messages, ethics, and national values that are in line with Islamic teachings. Social media such as digital platforms, podcasts, websites, and so on make it easier for preachers to convey preaching more widely, so that they can reach various communities. This research was conducted through case studies and examining in more depth digital preaching activities through a particular institution or individual such as a YouTube account, digital preaching podcast or digital preaching community and observing public response to preaching content on social media. And analyzing the content by seeing to what extent the message that has been conveyed contains civic values such as tolerance, democracy and the rights and obligations of the state. Therefore, optimizing digital preaching is an urgent need in an effort to build a strong civic awareness based on Islamic values. Through digital communication such as educational content, preaching can increase individual awareness of their rights and obligations as citizens.
