This study aims to examine the existence of the Church in the context of salvation history from the perspective of systematic theology, focusing on the role and vocation of the ecclesia as the community of God's people. The background of this study departs from the belief that the Church is not just a religious institution, but has an existential and historical basis in God's saving work. The Church acts as an extension of Christ's mission which is continued in the power of the Holy Spirit. In this research, the author uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The data sources consist of the Holy Bible, theological books related to the title, as well as relevant theological journal articles. This research was conducted to understand the relationship between the Church's identity and its participation in salvation history, both dogmatically and functionally. The results show that the Church is called to be an active witness in the work of salvation, by carrying out prophetic, liturgical, and social functions. As an ecclesia, the Church is not just a collection of individual believers, but a community that lives in relationship with Christ as the Head. The discussion emphasizes that the Church has a mandate to live in unity, holiness, catholicity, and apostolate, all of which are rooted in God's grace. In conclusion, the existence of the Church in salvation history is eschatological and missionary. The Church is called to be a sign and means of salvation, and to take part in the salvation of the world.

The tongue is sharper than a sword, meaning that whatever comes out of a person's mouth will definitely have the effect of killing someone physically, mentally and spiritually. Therefore, as a human being, you must be careful not to harm yourself or others. Even though The tongue physically feels soft because it has no bones, but if the tongue's ability to speak is not used wisely, the tongue becomes sharper than a sword. The tongue is able to cut and tear hearts without harming anyone's body. The tongue is sharper than a sword, which means we have to be careful in every word we say so as not to harm ourselves. The sin of the tongue is a sin that comes out of the mouth and is expressed in words that offend other people's feelings. Language is only a small part, but language can also detect a person's physical condition through speech like the one above. This means that someone can find out whether another person is an adult or not, all of this can be known through their words. With his tongue, man praises God's name, but with the same tongue, he curses creatures created in the image and likeness of God. It is in the same language that blessings and curses come (James 3: 1-12), where James emphasizes: "My brothers, this must not happen to you" (James 3: 1-12). James reminds Christians who are teachers to be careful in their words, because being a teacher is very difficult (James 3:-1). Christians must control their pronunciation, because they cannot avoid making mistakes in the words that come out of their mouths, because this can have positive and negative impacts. The purpose of writing is to try to find answers to important research. The purpose of writing this thesis is first of all to help readers understand how to use language through appropriate words.

Sin of the tongue is sin that comes out of the mouth and is expressed through words that are unpleasant for other people to hear. The tongue is a small part of the body, but it can also detect a person's physical condition through spoken words like those above. This means that someone can detect whether someone is mature in God or not, all of which can be known through the words they say. With the tongue, humans praise God's name, but with the same tongue, humans curse humans who were created in the image and likeness of Allah. From the same tongue come blessings and curses (Jas. 3:1-12). Here James emphasizes, "This, my brothers, must not happen to you" (Jas. 3:10). James reminds Christians who work as pastors or teachers to be careful in what they say because being a teacher is very difficult (Jas. 3:1). Christians need to control themselves in their pronunciation because they cannot be free from every mistake in the words that come out of their mouths, because they can have both positive and negative impacts. The purpose of writing is an effort to find answers to the main research points. The purpose of this writing is first, so that readers can understand the use of the tongue through correct words. Second, readers can gain a correct understanding of the sin of the tongue. Third, the reader gets a correct understanding of how to control the tongue. The research hypothesis is that it is suspected that there are people who do not properly understand the use of the tongue that God desires, so there are people who believe.

James 1:12-15 is a Bible verse that delves into the meaning of trials and their impact on modern-day servants of God. The verse underscores that trials are a part of life, testing one's faith and character. In this context, the meaning of trials is the tests or challenges faced by every individual, including servants of God, and its implications are significant for their outlook and behavior. The verse teaches that those who endure through trials will receive blessings in the form of the "crown of life," symbolizing the promised gift of eternal life from God for the faithful. Contemporary servants of God must understand that trials are not tools employed by God to tempt humanity into sin but are rather part of life experiences that may arise from human wickedness or complex situations. The most important implication for servants of God is their personal responsibility in facing trials. They should not blame God or circumstances but should reflect on their personal role in maintaining their integrity, obedience, and faith. Servants of God are expected to seek strength and guidance from God, hold fast to His Word, and resist the temptations of sin. Trials can also be used by God to shape character and foster spiritual growth in servants. By enduring and learning from trial experiences, servants can grow stronger in their faith and become better equipped to serve others. Therefore, James 1:12-15 reminds contemporary servants of God to possess perseverance, obedience, and vigilance when facing trials, recognizing them as opportunities for spiritual growth and the receipt of blessings promised by God.
