Putra Andalas Samudera is a company that operates in the field of domestic and overseas agents, PT. Putra Andalas Samudera provides ship entry and exit licensing services, certificate extensions, and management of sign on and sign off seafarers' books. The data collection methods used by the author in writing this paper are the field observation method (field research) and the library research method. This paper aims to determine the process of managing the sign on/off book for ship crew sailors at PT. Putra Andalas Samudera, the process began after a direction from the owner that there would be a crew change activity, after that the process of signing on the crew's seaman's book went to the KSOP class 1 Dumai office. Signing on/off in the sailor's crew book is very important for a seafarer, apart from being a sign that the seafarer has legally joined the ship, it also adds to the seafarer's work experience. The problems faced in the process of signing on/off the crew sailor's book were the delay in information from the owner to sign on the crew's sailor's book which resulted in hampering the clearance process. Good cooperation and coordination between shipping companies and related agencies in signing on/off seafarers' books is very necessary for smooth service to crew document handlers. It is important to remember that the purpose of coordination is so that the relevant agencies can carry out their duties and functions smoothly, safely and efficiently.

 
 

Various innovations have been made in all parts of the world to deal with global warming. One of them is making electric vehicles. One of the things that must be done to keep up with the number of electric vehicle production is to innovate the vehicle 'test' tool. The dyno test is one of the 'test' tools for electric vehicles on two wheels. One of the innovation gaps that can be addressed is creating a wheel stopper design on a new dyno test to speed up production time. The wheel stopper was designed using a hydraulic system with MTEK WC1 UNS J13047 cast alloy steel metal material. The design was done using Autodesk Inventor 2024 and analyzed using Solidwork 2019. Then, the analysis results are compared with the existing wheel stopper design using ASTM A36 steel. It will also determine whether a hydraulic system design can be implemented. The maximum displacement and minimum safety factor results obtained on the hydraulic wheel stopper are 0.1746 mm and 2.5. These results show that the hydraulic wheel stopper design can be implemented

This study aims to analyze the role of social media in the spread of Indonesian among students and evaluate the potential of the language to become an international language. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to students at the Faculty of Economics, State University of Medan. The results of the study showed that 87.9% of respondents used social media every day, and 69.7% considered the role of social media to be very important in introducing Indonesian internationally. Although most respondents believe that Indonesian has the potential to become an international language, they identified several barriers, such as inappropriate language use and lack of support from the community and government. The recommendations put forward include active promotion of the Indonesian language on social media, improvement of the overseas education curriculum, and collaboration with international influencers.

This study analyzes the vision statements of Indonesia's top 10 universities, as ranked by Times Higher Education in 2024. Vision statements are crucial for defining a university’s strategic direction, identity, and stakeholder engagement. The content analysis identifies recurring themes, including scientific advancement, innovation, community empowerment, and global competitiveness. While these statements articulate ambitious goals, potential challenges such as symbolic rhetoric and institutional isomorphism may hinder their effectiveness. The findings emphasize the need for vision statements that are actionable and aligned with the institution's mission. The study concludes with recommendations for further research on the practical implementation of these visions and the role of leadership, as well as strategies for embedding visions into institutional culture.

A huge number of stakeholders rely on the bank's financial statements. Such financial accounts must be of the highest caliber, particularly in light of the emergence of globalization. The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) were created to provide high-quality financial reporting in addition to universal standards. Over the past 10 years, Nigerian banks' financial statements have been called into question to the point where several of these banks failed. The purpose of this study is to investigate how IFRSs have affected Nigerian banks' financial statements quality, with a focus on the relevance, comparability, and clarity of their goals. The study's conclusions were reached using a case study methodology. There is a survey involving various stakeholders, both internal and external, through the use of a questionnaire. To analyze the data, the Chi-Square method was used. The X2-calculated value of 14.96 is more than the X2-critical/table value of 5.99 at 0.05 LOS, indicating a substantial association between the adoption of IFRS and the comparability objectives of Nigerian banks, according to the results. Further research revealed that the adoption of IFRS has a significant impact on relevancy quality, as the X2-calculated value of 14.0 is higher at 0.05 LOS than the X2-critical/table value at 5.99. The implementation of IFRS has also been proven to have a considerable impact on Nigerian banks' clarity objectives, as evidenced by the fact that the X2-calculated value of 25.4 is more than the X2-critical/table value of 5.99 at 0.05 LOS. It was determined that the implementation of IFRS has an important influence on the standard of Nigerian banks' financial statements. Each year, more than 1.9 million cases of colorectal cancer (CRC) are diagnosed worldwide. By 2040, the burden of colorectal cancer is estimated to reach 3.2 million new cases per year and 1.6 million deaths per year worldwide. As of 2024, it ranks as the third most prevalent form of cancer, contributing to over 10% of all new cancer cases annually, with a 5-year survival rate of only 65%. With effective early detection mechanisms in place, the survival rate could potentially increase to 90%. However, current detection mechanisms are manual and error-prone.
This study presents a deep learning-based approach to automating the detection of polyps, the tumor that causes colorectal cancer, in the human colon. Various state-of-the-art deep learning models  – including VGG, ResNet, DenseNet, and EfficientNet were trained and tested on a publicly available dataset. The findings of this study show that deep learning models can significantly automate the early diagnosis process of colorectal cancer with high accuracy, especially the DenseNet and EfficientNet models – attaining 99% and 99.4% respectively for both accuracy and F1 score metrics on the test dataset. This study validates the potential of deep learning to enhance the accuracy and reliability of colorectal cancer detection and prevention, ultimately contributing to better quality of diagnosis and patient outcomes.

Hirarki peraturan perundang-undangan di Indonesia secara normatif telah diatur dalam berbagai regulasi yang berlaku sejak tahun 1966 hingga 2011. Dalam konteks ini, Pancasila diposisikan sebagai Grundnorm, yaitu norma dasar yang dianggap memiliki realitas ideal yang sejalan dengan konsep keadilan. Hal ini berbeda dengan konsep Staatsfundamentalnorm, di mana Pancasila berfungsi sebagai ideologi yang digunakan untuk melegitimasi atau membatalkan produk hukum tertentu. Maka, dalam proses pembentukan undang-undang, terutama ketika dihadapkan pada persoalan politik, Pancasila harus ditempatkan sebagai ideologi yang menjadi dasar dalam menciptakan hukum yang dianggap adil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah Pancasila sebagai Grundnorm atau Staatsfundamentalnorm menimbulkan persaingan antara politik dan hukum yang dapat mengaburkan konsep keadilan; bagaimana pola persaingan antara hukum dan politik dalam proses pembentukan undang-undang; serta apakah pola persaingan tersebut menempatkan Pancasila sebagai realitas ideal sekaligus ideologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum doktrinal, yang tidak hanya berfokus pada norma, tetapi juga pada prinsip dan doktrin untuk menganalisis pola persaingan antara politik dan hukum dalam proses legislasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa posisi Pancasila sebagai Grundnorm atau Staatsfundamentalnorm memunculkan pola persaingan antara politik dan hukum, di mana pola ini mengakibatkan Pancasila sulit difungsikan secara bersamaan sebagai realitas ideal dan ideologi.

In the ever-changing digital world, strong security protocols are essential. As a vital line of defence against unwanted access, blockchain uses several verification techniques to boost security. This article investigates the use of blockchain technology to tackle privacy, security, and usability issues. By reducing the dangers associated with conventional centralised systems, blockchain's decentralised and immutable structure offers a secure platform for storing and verifying authentication credentials. This method increases user trust by using smart contracts to guarantee transparent and unchangeable authentication procedures. The suggested blockchain-based method strengthens security and enhances privacy by removing sources of failure and decreasing dependence on outside verification. Furthermore, user-centric design and expedited procedures improve the system's usability by making secure authentication more approachable and less obtrusive. This paper offers a thorough examination of the suggested system, stressing its benefits, possible drawbacks, and directions for future investigation. The results indicate that blockchain technology presents a viable solution to ensure that digital authentication frameworks combine privacy, security, and usability.

The purpose of this research is to conduct an analysis of possible ethical violations contained in the episode "CRAZY KAYA GINI TURNS OME TV?? - CATHEEZ - WHERE IS THE BOCIL OME TV!?" from the "Close the Door" podcast narrated by Catheez. This research uses a qualitative approach to identify and evaluate ethical aspects that appear in the conversations and narratives in the podcast. This research also integrates feminist discourse theory with Vand DJik which is divided into 3 structures, namely macro structure, super structure and micro structure to explore the influence of this episode on gender construction and social norms in the context of conversation. The results of the research identified several forms of ethical violations which were emphasized in the episode  including gender stereotyping, verbal harassment, as well as the use of derogatory language. With a feminist discourse perspective, this research also reveals the ways in which these episodes may strengthen or undermine gender norms in society. The results of this research provide important insights regarding the influence of podcasts on understanding ethics and social norms, taking into account gender and feminist perspectives. This research makes an important contribution to understanding the ethical issues that arise in the world of podcasts and also how feminist discourse theory can be applied to analyze the impact of audio media such as podcasts in the social and cultural realm.
