Language as an object of linguistic study is an arbitrary sound symbol system used by members of a social group to cooperate, communicate, and identify themselves. Language has several characteristics or properties as follows: Language is a system, Language is in the form of symbols, Language is sound, Language is meaningful, Language is arbitrary, Language is conventional, Language is productive, Language is unique besides being universal, Language is dynamic, and Language is humane and varied. One of the advantages of humans is the intellect that is inherent in every human being. Human intellect can be used and empowered with the help of language. Including in everyday life, anyone or anywhere, humans as social beings cannot avoid the use of language, either in writing or orally. As a linguistic science, linguistics has experienced stages of development like other sciences, the stages of development in question include; the stage of speculation, the stage of observation and classification, and the stage of formulating theories. The method used in this article is a literature study, with data collection from various sources such as books, journals, and existing research. The data is analyzed critically to support research propositions and ideas.

This study aims to analyze the impact of noncyclical company characteristics, board of director composition, and leverage on financial performance in Indonesia. The researcher uses quantitative research methodology to collect and analyze data. To investigate the impact of significant factors on each other, this study uses multiple linear regression analysis as its data analysis approach. The 66 sampled organizations all have data collected from their annual reports between 2019 and 2023. The result of the analysis shows that ROA and ROE impacted by the debt ratio. Tangible assets have an impact on ROE but not impact on ROA. Board size positively affects ROA but not affect on ROE. Board independence influences ROA but has no effect on ROE. ROA and ROE are impacted by firm size.

This study aims to describe the implementation of P5 activities at SMK Negeri 1 Kramatwatu. The research method used is observation with a qualitative approach. With data obtained through observation of P5 activities and journals or scientific articles and documents or files related to the implementation of P5 activities in schools. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative to describe and explain the overall data that will be concluded at the end of the study. This study concluded the implementation of P5 activities in schools with drama performances aimed at educating students about bullying and preventing bullying from occurring in schools.

In the rapidly evolving digital era, the use of mobile applications has become a fundamental necessity across various sectors, including the construction industry. PT Home Center Indonesia, which specializes in providing and installing furniture for building projects, faces challenges in the QC Pass Land recording process, which is currently done manually. This practice poses risks of data loss, miscommunication with vendors, human errors, and data invalidity, ultimately disrupting work efficiency. This study aims to develop a mobile application to replace the manual recording system in the QC Pass Land process for the Sky House BSD project. The application is designed to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of data recording while minimizing the risk of information loss through the implementation of a structured digital system. Additionally, the application is equipped with a feature that allows the inclusion of photo evidence, thereby improving data validity. The results of developing this mobile application are expected to accelerate the recording and furniture installation process, reduce the time required for data verification, and provide a solution that can be implemented in future projects. Through this practical work, the implementation of the application is anticipated to run effectively and contribute significantly to improving the QC Pass Land process at PT Home Center Indonesia.

Penelitian ini mengkaji konsep integralisme ilmu dalam Islam, yang menekankan keterpaduan antara ilmu agama dan ilmu dunia untuk menciptakan harmoni spiritual dan rasional. Dalam pandangan Islam, kedua jenis ilmu ini tidak dipisahkan, melainkan dianggap bersumber dari Tuhan, dengan tujuan untuk kemaslahatan umat dan mendekatkan manusia kepada-Nya. Pendekatan ini berbeda dengan paradigma Barat, yang sejak masa Renaissance cenderung memisahkan agama dan sains melalui sekularisme. Melalui metode penelitian kepustakaan, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi prinsip-prinsip, implementasi, dan tantangan integrasi ilmu dalam pendidikan Islam kontemporer. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan integralisme ilmu berpotensi menghasilkan individu yang tidak hanya unggul secara akademik, tetapi juga memiliki landasan spiritual yang kokoh. Pendekatan ini juga menjawab tantangan globalisasi dengan menawarkan solusi pendidikan yang berbasis nilai-nilai keislaman, tanpa mengabaikan perkembangan sains dan teknologi modern.

This paper was written to find out more clearly how the Cement Unloading Document Issuance Procedure is at PT. PBM Gelora Perkasa Belawan. The goal to be achieved is to find out how PBM carries out the cement unloading document issuance procedure at the Belawan Main Harbor Master's office. Before issuing the Cement Unloading document, PBM must make preparations before the ship arrives, namely PBM must prepare several documents. Then this research was carried out at PT. PBM Gelora Perkasa Belawan, while the author was carrying out land practice from January 2024 to July 2024. The data source is directly from the research location by means of observation, as well as regulations related to the paper. The results obtained regarding the cement unloading document issuance procedure have been running optimally, but there are obstacles in the unloading document issuance procedure. The obstacles faced in the cement unloading document issuance process are system errors that occur due to poor network, resulting in inefficient time to issue cement unloading documents. The methods used by the author in completing this paper are Library Research and Field Research to make it easier for the author to complete this paper.

Kerusakan lingkungan merupakan isu global yang semakin mendesak untuk ditangani. Dalam konteks ini, pemahaman terhadap pandangan Al-Qur'an dan tafsirnya terhadap kerusakan alam memberikan landasan spiritual dan etis yang penting dalam menjaga bumi sebagai amanah dari Allah SWT. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk menganalisa perspektif Tafsir Ibnu Katsir dalam Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 11 dan 205 terhadap kerusakan alam, serta mengidentifikasi upaya mitigasi yang dapat diambil untuk mengatasi krisis lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis konten terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan dan penafsiran Ibnu Tafsir. Kontribusi ilmiah kajian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman holistik mengenai pertanggung jawaban manusia sebagai khalifah dalam konteks lingkungan, serta menguraikan pandangan Islam terhadap kerusakan alam dan peran manusia sebagai pemimpin yang bertanggung jawab. Tafsir Ibnu Katsir mengungkapkan pentingnya menjaga hubungan harmonis antara manusia dan alam serta menganalisa manusia bertanggung jawab sebagai khalifah di bumi untuk memelihara kelestarian alam, sesuai dengan ajaran Islam yang menekankan kelestarian dan keadilan bagi seluruh ciptaan Allah SWT. Penelitian ini juga menganalisa kerusakan lingkungan sebagai akibat ketidakseimbangan ekosistem dan mengaitkannya dengan ketidaksetaraan sosial akibat penggunaan teknologi berlebihan. Islam, melalui prinsip ?if? al-b?ah, menekankan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan sebagai bagian dari tanggung jawab manusia terhadap keseimbangan alam dan kesejahteraan semua makhluk hidup.

This research focuses on using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm to model student satisfaction with campus services. The study finds that the quality of the dataset strongly influences the accuracy of the KNN classification results. Factors such as data cleanliness, balanced class distribution, and sufficient training data volume are highlighted as crucial for a successful model. The research also emphasizes the significance of proper feature selection in enhancing classification performance, suggesting that irrelevant features can introduce noise and decrease model accuracy. The model was evaluated using a dataset of 1032 data points and K=5, achieving an accuracy of 93.72%. While the model performed well for certain classes such as "Very Good" and "None", challenges were encountered in classifying the "Fair" and "Deficient" classes. The study concludes that KNN is effective in identifying student satisfaction patterns but highlights the need for improvements in accurately classifying these challenging classes. Ultimately, the research underscores the importance of data quality and feature selection in enhancing the performance of classification models for student satisfaction analysis.

Pengembangan Aplikasi Pemilihan Umum RT02 RW12 di Kelurahan Meteseh, Semarang, oleh tim mahasiswa Universitas Dian Nuswantoro bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemilihan ketua RT. Aplikasi ini fokus pada literasi digital, melibatkan masyarakat RT02 RW12, dan memastikan partisipasi maksimal. Tahap pelaksanaan mencakup negosiasi, perancangan, konfirmasi, pengembangan, dan pengujian aplikasi. Sosialisasi berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan literasi digital peserta. Aplikasi berbasis Laravel menyajikan calon ketua RT dan visi misi mereka. Tim mahasiswa juga berperan sebagai fasilitator pada pemilihan, menciptakan kesuksesan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat. Hasilnya, aplikasi ini bukan hanya meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi dalam pemilihan ketua RT, tetapi juga mendorong partisipasi aktif masyarakat serta memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap demokratisasi tingkat lokal. Dengan demikian, pengembangan aplikasi ini berhasil menciptakan dampak positif dalam proses pemilihan umum di tingkat RT.

Human Resources is able to produce quality performance in a firm. To generate a high quality HR performance demands effective skill management, the variables that might affect the quality of HR performance are communication and work discipline that run simultaneously. The goal of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of communication and work discipline on employee performance, as well as to determine and analyze which of the two variables is the most dominating on the performance of Elisa Malang inpatient clinic staff. This topic has 47 respondents, employing sample collection technique is saturated sample research. Data collecting approaches using a questionnaire and Interviews. Data analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics. The results of this study can be stated that the factors of communication and work discipline have a simultaneous effect on the performance variable.
