Entrepreneurship plays a significant role in global economic growth. However, not all entrepreneurs achieve success. This study aims to deeply examine the mindset and character that serve as the fundamental basis for entrepreneurial success, as well as the influencing factors and strategies for fostering these qualities based on a literature review. Through a literature review method, it was found that successful entrepreneurs possess a growth mindset, are solution-oriented, and adaptive, supported by specific thinking methods like BETSCA (Bricolage, Effectuation, Think Structurally, Cognitive Adaptability). Furthermore, key characters such as commitment, creativity, resilience, risk-taking propensity, and networking ability are crucial elements. The study also identified various driving factors and types of motivation (intrinsic-extrinsic) in entrepreneurship. Another important finding is that the entrepreneurial spirit and character can be learned and developed through personal commitment, a supportive environment, education, and continuous learning processes. The conclusion of this study asserts that the combination of the right mindset and strong character, along with the ability to continuously develop both, is essential for increasing the chances of success in the world of entrepreneurship.

In the era of Industry 4.0, optimizing fluid flow systems in smart factories is essential to improve energy efficiency and operational stability. Traditional Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations provide accurate fluid flow analysis but require extensive computational resources and long processing times, making real-time applications challenging. To address this limitation, this study aims to develop an AI-based predictive model for CFD simulations, utilizing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) to accelerate the estimation of fluid flow characteristics in industrial environments. The research methodology involves generating CFD simulation datasets, preprocessing data, and training AI models to predict key fluid parameters such as pressure, velocity, and temperature. The evaluation results show that CNN achieves a Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.0025 and a Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 0.05, outperforming XGBoost, which records an MSE of 0.0030 and an RMSE of 0.055. Moreover, CNN predicts fluid dynamics in just 15.2 seconds, while XGBoost achieves results in 10.5 seconds, compared to the 1200.5 seconds required by traditional CFD simulations. These findings highlight the potential of AI in reducing computation time by over 98%, making real-time fluid flow analysis feasible in industrial settings. This study contributes to the advancement of AI-integrated CFD modeling, demonstrating that AI can significantly enhance the efficiency of fluid dynamics analysis without compromising accuracy. Future research should focus on expanding AI models to handle more complex flow conditions and integrating AI with smart factory design tools for real-time optimization

Black rice (Oryza sativa L.) contains nutrients and bioactive compounds with potential application in health, including antimicrobial properties. To date, the application of fermentation to black rice to enhance its bioactivity, particularly as an antimicrobial, remains unclear. This study aims to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of solid fermented black rice against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, and fungi. Black rice was fermented using Saccharomyces cerevisiae under solid-state conditions. Extraction was carried out by maceration using 96% ethanol. Antimicrobial activity was assessed using the well diffusion test method, agar dilution, and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Fermented black rice extract showed antimicrobial activity against all tested microbes. The minimum inhibitory value obtained was 20% against all microbes, but the minimum bactericidal/fungicidal concentration (MBC/MFC) could not be determined. The SEM analysis showed morphological changes in microbes exposed to fermented black rice extract, including cell shrinkage, elongation, and lysis in Bacillus cereus, fragmentation and irregular cell shape in Escherichia coli, cell size reduction in Staphylococcus aureus, and bleb formation in Candida albicans. These changes indicate the mechanism of microbial growth inhibition. We found that fermented black rice (EFBR) extracts produce different effects from unfermented black rice extracts (EUBR), which tend to induce biofilm formation. We propose that EFBR functions as an antimicrobial by rupturing cell walls, preventing cell division and DNA synthesis. This research provides new insights into natural antimicrobial mechanisms at the cellular level and offers a potential alternative for addressing antimicrobial resistance. Solid fermented black rice may serve as a valuable source of antimicrobial compounds for developing health products or natural preservatives.

This systematic review aimed to contribute to insights into the vital role of implementing independent ICT tools in teaching with video-conferencing (VC). The study focused on what technological tools EFL teachers’ use in VC-based contexts, how and why teachers use these tools, and the impact of the tools on the development of students’ language skills. The analysis of 64 studies published between 2010 and 2022 indicated that teachers mostly use learning management systems and various additional tools such as PowerPoint slides, websites, and online quizzes. The results also indicate that the number of studies that targeted speaking skills was higher than those that focused on other skills, with reading being investigated by very few studies. Concerning the challenges, a lack of digital preparedness on the part of both students and teachers was reported. The impact of these tools was mostly positive in terms of raising the interaction and communication elements along with skills improvement. The findings can be beneficial for EFL teachers, course designers and EFL trainers in VC-based contexts by developing their awareness of the necessity of implementing specific technological tools to gain the expected skills-related outcomes.

This study examines the performance of a total of ten reinforced concrete T-beams, nine of which were made as hybrid beams by casting the web with LW concrete and the flange with HS concrete; the last beam was cast as a normal beam (entirely cast with HS concrete). All beams underwent testing under two-point loads following a 28-day period. The variables of the experimental program include the concrete grade within the web (46, 62, and 82 MPa) and stirrup distribution distances (100, 200, and 300 mm). The experimental program includes load-deflection curves and failure modes for hybrid and normal beams. The results showed that all the beams failed in shear-flexural mode. Also, increasing flange compressive strength increased shear. strength. Increasing stirrup distribution distance from 100 to 200 and 300 mm reduced the ultimate load capacity; specimens with stirrup spacing of 300 mm failed directly after yielding of steel due to crushing the concrete over the support and spalling concrete cover within the shear zone. The study also determined that reducing stirrup spacing to 100 mm did not alter the failure mode, as shear failure was dictated by the compressive strength of the lower layer of the hybrid beams (19 MPa compressive strength of LW concrete).
