This study aims to identify the leading economic sectors in East Kalimantan Province and analyze their influence on the development of the National Capital of the Archipelago (IKN) as an economic superhub. Using secondary data from 2019–2023, the analysis applies Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic LQ (DLQ), Shift-Share, and SWOT methods to evaluate the regional economy. Results show that the mining and quarrying sector remains dominant, while agriculture and processing industries demonstrate stable potential for sustainable growth. The study also highlights the urgency of economic diversification, human capital development, and renewable energy as strategic steps to reduce dependence on extractive sectors. The formation of a collaborative blueprint between regional governments, businesses, and communities with the IKN Authority is proposed to strengthen connectivity and economic integration. This research provides critical insights for policy formulation to support East Kalimantan’s transformation as a central player in national development.

Abstrak:
The maritime industry, traditionally reliant on intuition and experience-based decision-making, is undergoing a transformation with the increasing adoption of digital marketing strategies. However, the epistemological foundations of this transition remain underexplored, particularly in the context of leadership and strategic decision-making. This research examines how maritime leaders, lecturers, and postgraduate students perceive and integrate data-driven marketing strategies into maritime business management. The study provides original value by addressing the gap in maritime leadership research regarding digital marketing epistemology. Unlike previous studies that primarily focus on technical adoption, this research critically analyzes the philosophical and cognitive frameworks influencing digital marketing decision-making. The primary objective is to explore the extent to which digital marketing decisions in maritime leadership are guided by empirical data rather than intuition. Using qualitative research and descriptive analysis, semi-structured interviews were conducted with maritime experts, lecturers, and postgraduate students. Data were analyzed thematically, categorizing responses into competency development, sustainability, and digital transformation barriers. Findings reveal that while data-driven strategies are acknowledged as valuable, traditional leadership models still dominate. Digital marketing adoption is constrained by limited expertise, regulatory challenges, and skepticism toward analytics. The study concludes that bridging this gap requires integrating epistemological inquiry into maritime education and fostering collaboration between industry and academia. Strengthening digital literacy among maritime leaders is essential for ensuring the sustainable and strategic use of digital marketing in the sector.

This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a systematic literature review approach, analyzing scientific articles by Indriani et al. (2023), Khairiyah et al. (2023), and Putri et al. (2023), which discuss the role of teachers in character education in the Merdeka Curriculum era. Data validation was carried out through source triangulation to obtain a comprehensive understanding. The findings indicate that the application of Student-Centered Learning (SCL) in the Merdeka Curriculum helps students develop character traits such as independence, creativity, and mental resilience, which are essential for facing future challenges. Project-Based Learning (PBL) enhances critical thinking, creativity, discipline, teamwork, and responsibility. Differentiated learning provides space for students to learn according to their interests, talents, and styles, boosting motivation, engagement, and appreciation for diversity. Additionally, the role of teachers as facilitators is crucial in developing students' character, including independence, leadership, and empathy, which supports their academic, social, emotional, and moral development. Conclusion: Character education in the Merdeka Curriculum era shapes academically intelligent students with strong moral and social values to face future challenges.

Abstract: The New Student Admission Information System (SIPMB) at STMIK Kaputama aims to enhance efficiency and transparency in the student admission process. This study conducted an information system audit using the COBIT 5 framework to evaluate system maturity and provide improvement recommendations. The audit results indicate that the system has not met the expected targets in all domains, with an average maturity level of 1.35 or 135%, classified as Fully Achieved (F). However, according to the capability model mapping condition index, the value is at level 1 (Performed Process). STMIK Kaputama needs to increase openness to innovation inputs and clear communication with prospective students to avoid errors in the admission process, as well as improve service quality for prospective students.
